Sam *** was the professional Tech assigned to my service call He was very knowledgeable about my systems, was very professional in his appearance and work ethic He let me know that my systems were in good running order and no parts or work was required this time, but also advised what was beginning to age and could need replaced on future service calls

No one wants to have to call a service provider to come look at your 20 year old HVAC system. You already know you are going to have an expense that is unavoidable.
A-1 Air answered their phone whereas the two companies I called prior and during business hours did not. I was put in their service queue for the same day. Shortly after they called me to tell me I was next in line and again when the technician was on the way. He tested the unit and what was wrong. He gave me options and I chose to go with a complete new furnace and Ac unit. Again we are talking twenty years old. There were financing options presented that I could take advantage of at zero percent. All was very straight forward and professional. Quincy was the tech.
We have used A#1 Air for HVAC work, in fact purchased a new unit from them about 3 years ago, so thought we would try the plumbing division. Jeff was professional and informative. The only issue I had was on the day of my original appointment which was Saturday, May 14, 2016. I was told technician would arrive by late morning or early afternoon. I called twice trying to get an estimated time of arrival and kept being told we were next on the list. Finally at 5 o'clock I rescheduled for Monday. I wasted an entire day waiting. No phone calls to the primary number on the account. Would have rated things higher, however the lack of communication really drives score down.
Aaron did a great job. He explained everything he did and recommended some maintenance items. After ordering parts, he was back the next day and completed the job quickly. He was friendly and very customer oriented.
Outstanding service, the technician was serious about his job. After the inspection he explained to me the the outcome and what was needed to correct the issue with which he found and provide an estimate on the cost of correcting the problem.
I was extremely pleased with the service and rice received on purchasing of a new system. I have done business with A#1 for 10 years, and the Technicians were always courteous and professional. I had to replace a system (also purchased from A#1) because of too many repair charges after the warranty expired. While they provided discounts, the system itself was not up to my standards and I could no longer justify the repair costs. As a repeat customer, A#1 provided me with a discount on a new unit along with zero percent financing that it only made sense to stay with them. I would purchase again from A#1 Air - but with a 16 year warranty, it won't be for a while. Thanks!
