In June of I discovered that ADT had been billing my *** card in the amount of $per month for a home previously sold/cancelledThe charge had taken place for close years (property sold in November 2015)
I reached out to ADT who confirmed by phone repeatedly that I would receive a refund for the errorThe refund in the amount of $1,was promised by phone, on numerous occasions by supervisors/managersI received a credit on my *** card in the amount of $leaving a balance of roughly $1,still due
After calls to ADT every month resulted in continued commitments that the credit was "in the mail" I am now getting the run around and transferred from one extension to another ultimately ending up with the calls being droppedThe billing error was identified and confirmed yet the refund still not processed months later?

If I could leave no stars I wouldThis is the most dishonest, expensive security company in the marketYou're better off doing your own security, which you can very easilyIf you're thinking about doing business with them, don'tIf you're already in business with them, I sympathizeGood luck canceling your account:-/

I got my initial service in August and had to move in December, I relocate the service and specifically made sure they don't renew my contract
all was good until the tech made me sign the document where it said that I will start * new contract
I asked him and his response was : this is to certify that I installed the alarm at the new place, and that nothing changed

I was sent a notice that I needed to update my system so I called and made an appointmentOnly for the tech to show up late and say he doesn't have what he needs to do the jobI had lost a day for nothingMe and the tech went over my order called got a price and I was told he would see me on Friday 08-19-at 12pmI asked if it was ok for my son to be home when the work is started and I would be home soon after to signThe tech said it would be fineAnother tech showed up XXXXXX he called and I told him I would be home soon he could start my 30yr son was homeThe tech called me back in five mins to say he was leaving I had to rescheduleThe price changed from $To $what I was told the Saturday beforeI called customer service to explain what happen and was told the sameI have been with ADT since They gave me there but to kiss today and let me know they didn't trust me at allThey wanted me to sign the contract before they started

I have been with ADT for years, as a customer, when I tried to call to inquire abount an upgrade, I got quoted a monthly price
As a senior citizen, I explained to the sales agent how I am on a fixed income and how I wanted to inquire about better protection
I could not believe she did't even "hear" me, in regard to my fixed income, and had the audacity to quote me a new monthly charge, which was double my current rate
Not to mention, she didn't even consider my year loyalty
Then when I called back, I got another person - in sales - who wanted to schedule a sales call - to get a new contract signed - and then to schedule an installation - at another date!
This is totally unacceptable and unconscionable
It seems as if a new sales contract is all ADT cares about and not the service of providing good customer service
I am not happy and I'm actually thinking about leaving and switching to AT&T, who I have been with for over years too

ADT does not truly monitor your home We disconnected our system, and no one even checked to see if it was disconnected on purpose, or cut by a home invader Then we called to cancel our service, they bill for an extra month from the day you cancel

Complete disregard for client service and refusal to works towards a reasonable resolution
09/15/Called Cust Svc for help with my account and specified I need this escalated Instead of sending me to a manager, they sent me to client retention I asked to speak with a manager, was placed on hold for minutes!! No once ever came on the line I called back and talked to the cust svc rep and explained my dissatisfaction I have had ADT for years and within the last 5-months my service has not worked properly During that time - they've sent out 5-techs on alternate occasions and either they couldn't fix it, or they temporarily fixed it for only a few hours just to have the same problem come back I upgraded my account prior to these issues to their newer 'Pulse' product and this has not worked since day I have paid for a product/service for nearly months that has never worked properly As this cannot seemed to be fixed by the company I called to see what alterna

This is the worst service you can ever find! Do not getmonths contract of over paying useless equipmentThis people lied to us non stop they took days to install the equipment and when they finally didIt was the wrong onecustomer service just gives you the run around un til the third day which is the end of the trial period( not seven like they repeatedly told us) just so they can lock u in and then charge extra for outdoor cameras, which is for what I sign up in first placeYou will save so much jut by buying some nest camerasThey have sooo many features, record longer( adt only records seconds of footage) and their monthly plans are $per camera a month! Trust me we called millions of times to get our situation resoveld and they gave us lies after lies, and "escalated" our call to the manager and no body called backScammers is what they areDont fall for itPlease!

Can't cancel and can't continue servicr
I moved from my residence after having to sell due to personal reasonsADT would not let me cancelThey said I had to pay nearly $or start a new contractI live in an apartment and cannot have an alarmThey went on a scripted spiel about burglaries and crime and how I needed their services to stay safe but the only criminals are ADT! I can't have the service otherwise I would keep paying themAnd I'm not paying for a service I cannot use!
