I've had it with ADT The worse customer service ever! I made three appointments and all three times when I called they told me they had no record of any changes to the systemI made arrangements because I was moving I called three weeks before with enough time and still here is one day before moving and no one know anything about my moveAnd mind you, I was given employees ID # and confirmation # My question is what are they doing while am rattling off my information to them? Because if they were putting in the system there would be a note somewhere that am moving and that they gave me an appointment How can there be SO many complaints about this company and they still Get an A+ rating ? They blame the sub contractors they have for installation But, if I had a house built by (made up name) Bird Home Builders, and as all builders, they hire sub contractors, if the roof falls, who is responsible for the house? They should be on top of everything that is going on in your accountThat's my thought, what do you think? [redacted]

The Technician Ron D was unprofessiohttp://westpalmbeachweb.ebindr.com/ebindr/images/icons16x/accept.pngn... entered my home as if he was on a personal visit not businessHe charged me an amount I did not authorize On 9-15-I had ADT come to my home to reactivate my alarm systemThe technician, Ron Dwas unprepared for the visitHe had a long form and the majority of the information should have been filled out before reaching my residence, considering it was paperwork for the technician not the customerHe was laying on the table as he filled out the form, not sitting up in the chairThe information he stated was different from the conversation I held with the telephone repHe stated it was yrs instead of yr; he stated there was a reactivation fee & according to the telephone rep the only fee I was suppose to pay on 9/was the 28.99,I explained that to Ron and he said okay, but when I checked my account I was billed During the time of service he said I was not

Nonstop Harassment After Being Told That an Issue was Resolved We contracted with ADT to provide home security servicesAfter the three year contract expired, we decided to contract with another providerWe contacted ADT and cancelled our accountADT continued billing usIt took (at least) two more phone calls to have the account cancelledADT has since pursued collecting the balance on the accountAfter a few phone calls, I was told that the issue would be resolved and that we had a zero balance due on the accountThis was two weeks agoWe are now getting more phone calls looking to collect on an account that I was told was closed

My wife was shopping around to get a deal on an alarm system for our new house So we contact ADT ( [redacted] ) plus two other providers After going through the quotes we made a decision and we notify this "gentlemen" from ADT that we will go with another provider Soon after this my wife receive this e-mail from this self proclaimed "#sales rep" From: [redacted] If we started selling cable / internet / phone today would you switch to us because we are $cheaper ? Not likely ...you would stay with the proven provider of these services We are not number one on Canada by fluke ...and I'm not the number ADT rep by fluke To save $ you are taking a chanceI respect your choice, thank you for your business in the past but expect ( like many others who go cheap ) you will be back There are many differences and reasons to stay with ADT ..if interested in discussing them let me know I'm amazed that a person like him, is ADT # rep?

Services were cancelled on July and they are charging for services that are not being providedMy contract was with Broadview and not with ADT Wires were cut by ATT and ADT never called me - this menas they never monitored my securityThis is just a big scam

Faulty alarm and bogus contract Our alarm hasn't worked correctly for yearsWe have multiple homes secured with this service and one of our tenants are having the same problem we were so we canceled that serviceThe unit makes us bypass different sensors and goes off for no reason at all hours of the nightFor the past months without fail every weekend the alarm will go off around 4-5amThis has been horrible for the past years but now my wife is pregnant with our 6th child and she also has LupusWe have had the police come out for alarms that we have had to pay for and that makes me angry because our brothers in blue have so many more important issues they should be dealing withMy dogs go crazy when they hear the alarm go off and one day while I was at work and the wife was at the commissary the alarms went off (for no reason) for over minutesI have had ADT technicians out here on more than occasion and obviously they don't know what they are doingI calle

Worse possible experience I have ever had with a service company ever From the start to finish from the sales call to the installation day, not one piece of information was accurate or trueADT just trying to make a quick sale Will definitely never use them again and make sure to let anyone I know aware of the lack of trust and truthfulness of their service

Dear ADT Company, This check is to cancel the contract for my pharmacyLast year we were unsatisfied with your response time and how you handle the robbery for our pharmacyWhen the response was made, it called my cell phone first and then police departmentThe police department response hour laterFirst, the panic button is for panic, while we were getting rob, it does not make sense to call my cell phoneYou called LAPD first then they transfer me to South gate PD while I was getting robbedI have also forward this letter to news agency and blogs to ensure they know what happenAlso, when I call to cancel the account representative making it so hard to cancel the contract and kept denying that you guys response on time and blame it on the police After writing this letter, I will contact all my associate with home and business of mine and to cancel all ADT and not renew them for the yearI will check which contract will end and cancel them and switch them to another companyYou have shown that response time is poor and the way to contact the police is poor as well The way your company operates lack compassion and customer service and you should really look how your company operatesI will never use ADT ever again and I will be talking with my associate to make sure ADT will never be serving our business again

To be clear, to date we have never had any issues with our system and coverage However, since changing over affiliation with ADT, our customer service has been less than satisfactory It began with a call to have a fob repaired/replaced This led to the quick delivery of a new fob Next, I made a call to have the fob added to our system I was told that someone would contact me to assist me This never happened and our main panel soon began to remotely of through diagnostics and boot up The system continued to do so and soon became apparent that the system was flawed I then called to report and have some action taken to fix the system Once again, I was told that someone would contact me to discuss and repair That call never transpired and our system ceased to operate completely We our not impressed by the professionalism and customer service As a customer paying good money for security, we expect prompt and courteous service

I returned $worth of equipment to ADT, but never received a refund I cancelled my ADT service within the approved 3-day window I returned $worth of equipment to them on 8/12/16, fo r which I was to receive a refund in 7-business days I have called times to request my refund, most recently on 10/12, and each time I was told that my refund was "coming in 7-business days." I am due a refund in the amount of $immediately

Complete disregard for client service and refusal to works towards a reasonable resolution 09/15/Called Cust Svc for help with my account and specified I need this escalated Instead of sending me to a manager, they sent me to client retention I asked to speak with a manager, was placed on hold for minutes!! No once ever came on the line I called back and talked to the cust svc rep and explained my dissatisfaction I have had ADT for years and within the last 5-months my service has not worked properly During that time - they've sent out 5-techs on alternate occasions and either they couldn't fix it, or they temporarily fixed it for only a few hours just to have the same problem come back I upgraded my account prior to these issues to their newer 'Pulse' product and this has not worked since day I have paid for a product/service for nearly months that has never worked properly As this cannot seemed to be fixed by the company I called to see what alterna

This company is a scam!! Beware!!! They'll sweet talk you into getting their system and then if something goes wrong, they'll ignore you if it's their fault, and they'll be aggressively demanding from you if you are in trouble financiallyTheir products are chineseMeaning poor qualityYou are better off buying your own equipment for less than $and have a monitoring company service for less than $a monthThat's right!! Less than $a month!! Today I pay $9.95/moBy experience I tell you that they will not honor a promise or commitments made by their representativesI am glad my service with ADT was terminatedI am now saving 75% of what I used to pay these vulturesIf you are paying more than $15.00/mo, you are being ripped of!

My experience thus far is that in the first month of service with ADT they are on top of their game for customer service; I was grateful of the service in the beginning; Remember that the first days is the only time you can cancel your contract WITHOUT 75% of the rest of your signed contract After the first 30days my bike was stolen off my back porch(ADT doesn't protect that) & I'm definitely not paying $1,000+ to replace that ADT agent told me the signs change every year(obviously not ð???), also made aware after the first days that agent had quitAwesome ADT increased my bill without notice, they control the bill, no matter the cause, it was increased by themI have paid my bill on time & in full every month as it's on AUTOPAY & here comes a big ol slap at the end of the year for a service fee and permit I was told they space it out across the year, lie ADT has been hindering the truth & is money hungryWith this service I advice all acquaintances not to sign up

ADT system worked just fineNo glitches or issues with the system However, the first tech who did the install didn't know what he was doing though and the system would go down from time to timeWhen another tech came out to fix it he was shocked at how poorly the initial installation was completedA minor offense The REAL ISSUE came when I moved from Los Angeles to Maui, HIFirst off, ADT DOES NOT SERVICE HAWAII OTHER THAN OAHUI learned this the hard wayAfter numerous phone calls to the customer service department about transferring service, cancelling service, etcit was determined that ADT could not provide service on the island of Maui (after reminding them that Hawaii, Maui included, is a part of the United States) and that I would have to pay 75% of the remaining contractI was required to pay ADT even though the company couldn't service my new address in the United States Solesson learned I highly recommend going another direction with home securityTheir customer service is terrible, lazy, and 100% fakeThey don't care about their customers, which is now clear

alarm citation was issued, called ADT to cancel service, was then notified that the contract that was signed locked us in for years I have had ADT alarm services at my current address Shubrook Ln for year and month now During this time the alarm has been activated times, both time while me and my fiancé were sleeping The alarm did not wake either of us up as it is extremely hard to hear in a floor sq ft rancher The second time this happened was June 5th and the local Police were sent to our location, weeks later we received a fall alarm notification My major concern is that if this was not a alarm and a real situation the alarm did not do what it is intended to do, alarm the residence, also the volume on the keypad is and always has been at max After receiving the citation I contacted ADT in order to see how I can increase the sound from the keypad to alarm us in the case of a break in, there was nothing more I could do The represent

This is what I sent to ADTSir/Ma'am, I'm a little annoyed at you asking for a review of your services for the installation of my "new" ADT wireless security system Work began Nov 30, and is not completed! The young lady who sold me the "wireless" system stated that two more keypads would be installed at my front door and my bedroom The temporary keypad on my back door is awkward in that it does not sit next to the door, it's on the microwave When I open the front door, I have to race through the house to access the garage keypad or the backdoor keypad on the microwave to turn the system off I did pay for the extra keypads which sit in boxes in my utility room When the keypad on the microwave was sitting next to my bed it would not operate because it was too far from the main keypad in the utility room next to the garage door So the technician couldn't figure out what was wrong and I suggested it was too far from the main keypad and you may need a repeater to boost the signal strength to reach the main keypad Another thought I had (after she left) was to move the main keypad next to the front door which would be at the center of the house and thus the signal strength may be able to reach all positions in the house I'd planned to suggest this idea to the other techs that were supposed to pull power to the other keypads, but I have not heard from anyone I've already received the bill for next month of $and set it up on my bank account If this is the level of service you are providing I think you should come get your equipment and I'll look for another company to provide my home security needs I compared several companies and was impressed by your "A+" rating by the Revdex.com and selected ADT over the othersI'm also worried that in order to put power into the keypads the techs are going to cut new holes in my walls, I hope this is not the case I was also informed that my original system installed by ADT was too old and not compatible to the "new" wireless system so new door and window sensors were put in all over my house Compatibility with the old system was another reason I picked ADT, guess that was a bust Just tried to contact ADT customer support and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE THE automated system said it was putting me through to an agent but all I got were "beeps" Lord knows if something was WRONG!!! COME GET THIS EQUIPMENT!!! YOU FAILED THE CONTRACT!!!

Fraudulently added my bank card to EasyPay, charged it after I removed it I relocated after buying a new homeThis is the second time this company has welcomed themselves to my moneyThey charged me over $to relocateDuring this process I realized that when I called to make the appt, they added my bank card to easypay without my permission or knowledgeI paid what I owed with a credit card and then called to request my bankcard deleted from their systemThe next day, ADT charged my bankcard for $After I'd removed it from their systemI called my bank and marked this charge fraudulent because it's theft at this point

I have had an ADT system for nearly years I had an very frustrating experience with Corporate Customer Support They were too busy telling me that I misunderstood Tech support and the Field Tech when they told me my system hadn't worked over the last year they also told me the reason I couldn't run a simple test of the system was "me" I tried to talk with the rep to go through the entire process I went through and what I understood the issue to be but she was too busy talking to hear what I had to sayWhile the alarm was fixed they destroyed my faith in ADT I am happy to say ADT is no longer my security provider

months of waiting for a refund I had a transfer of service with ADTThey have continued to take the payment electronically from my bank account for the old address since August I have contacted the company several times, with four people saying either the refund check was mailed or electronically sent back to my accountTo this date I have not received a refund by any meansAs of today they have taken another $from my accountThis brings the total of $taken for an account that was closed
