I am rejecting this response because: you know you can twist what happened, But everyone Knows what really happened that daythe people in that office has very bad treatment to the patient's & the family, I will to telling everyone hoe they treat people, and How they rip off the patientsWe have NOT GOT ANY REFUND, So Guess will see you in Court !!! [redacted] ID#

To Whom It May Concern:If patient is not happy with her dentures, I am willing to give a full refund of $which was the cost of Economy dentures that she purchasedI do not know how she came up with $550, Patient does not seem to understand that in order to satisfy patients concerns, a new set of dentures is needed, for her first set was a temporary set she had multiple teeth pulled and dentures were inserted on the same dayPatient signed all necessary consent forms knowing that she will need to have another set made after complete healing at her own expenseNevertheless, refund will be granted.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: when I did complain at my appointment I was told it was my fault they didnt fit all they could offer is a relign I did refuse because a relign would not thave changed the huge gap in the front of the plate..dentures should look like a gum line to fit not teeth..they are ridiculously mis shapen...what they told me was this is temporary you are approved for a permanent set I have called and been in to speak with them several times I am only offered a relign nowWhy

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2016/03/08) */ Point by point rebuttal: Schedule/waiting time: This person arrived on the wrong day for her appointmeagreed to see her and work her in to our schedule but priority was given to registering a patient that was scheduled and present at the correctly scheduled timeWe do scheduled consults daily from to 2pm Insurance: This is extremely complicated but I will try and explain it and hopefully demonstrate that us telling her we accept her insurance is a mistake that could be easily madeThis patient's employer self-funds their dental insurance which is rare and not typicalThe typical situation is the employer contracts with a major dental insurance provider and the employer pays a little each month and the patient pays a little each monthThrough thousands and thousands of employer and worker little monthly pays-a lump of money is built up from which patient treatment is funded and checks are written to dentists for rendered treatmentIn this patient's case, her employer sets aside a lump of money exclusive to their employees, and has a TPA (third party administrator) oversee this money and make sure the employees get the most treatment for their dental dollars and that there is no fraud or mishandling of the moneyThis TPA uses a [redacted] fee schedule but is not truly [redacted] dental insuranceThis can only be sorted out by running the patient's insurance card to see if they have a traditional dental insurance or a TPATPAs' are rahave patients in last year that have them out of about new patients to our practiceIt would also be next to impossible for a patient with a TPA insurance card to know they have this self-administered plan and not traditional dental insuranceI imagine this patient's insurance card would have the [redacted] logo on it and therefore make it easy to make this mistake of stating she has [redacted] insurance instead of insurance through BAS who is her employers TPA Privacy issues: We are on the electronic record and what the patient saw were folders that house the initial registration form with denture lab prescriptions/lab sheets not health information or chart notesThe patient indeed did hear her registration information being said because just like banks, pharmacies, or car dealerships-everything has gone to computer driven verbal voice menus on the phone and so the receptionist was speaking to a computer to deduce this patient's insurance informationThis does raise a good issue and we will effort to be more conscious of privacy when on the phone with verbally driven menus when looking up insurance Prices: We list our cash prices on our websiteIf you surveyed other dentist websites, I would challenge you to find another office that does thisWe are the most affordable dental provider for mile radius-not including sliding fee schedule public health clinicsThat being said, if a patient indeed does have insurance the fees are negotiated down from our prices much as what happens in medicine/hospital settingsIt would be impossible for us to list each negotiated fee schedule because that is done by each employer at the HR level and not by the insurance company Charges: We offered to take this patient's x-ray at no charge and see her for no chargeShe had an electronic x-ray that was emailed to us but we could not retrieve it because our office email was down system wideThe fact we couldn't get her previous x-ray was an inconvenience but she was not going to be charged to take a new one Hostility: This patient became increasingly hostile toward the front desk person to the point that the office manager had to intervene and ask her to leaveShe berated a year old college student to the point of her crying in the lunchroom after she leftThe patient's last words on leaving the office were:" You must be from Sullivan." The patient makes no mention of her derogatory statements in her complaintAs a direct result of this incident, I have since installed audio visual recording cameras at the desk to document what is truly said what truly occurs I feel our office did our best to accommodate this patient and we were willing to evaluate her at no charge to make the best of a bad situationInstead this patient verbally abused the staff to the point of being asked to leave the premises which is only the second time in years we have had to do soI wish this patient the best in her dental care but she is not welcomed back at our office [redacted] DDS

Revdex.com spoke to Jaquai and the following was relayed: The customer has not come backWe have made several attempts to reach out and contact him with no responseWe are not sure what he is referring to and need to take a look to understandThe customer should make an appointment to have us take a
look at the issueWe would like to assist him

Patient purchased an economy denture that does not give him the option to address personal cosmetic choicesThis was explained at his visit, and we gave him the three options of upgrades to address any cosmetic concerns before we made his dentureThe economy denture he purchased is fully
fabricated in hard acrylic at delivery and the size, shape, and color of teeth can not be changed at that time. The other three options all come in wax, and the patient is allowed to move or change the teeth to whatever meets their desiresPatient declined all three optionsHis denture is functional and is cosmetically pleasingHe left happy on 12-17-15, and then returned on 12-31-and stated "I do not like the way they look." I checked the fit and bite, and they were all satisfactory I offered to make him a new denture to address the cosmetic changes he wants, but I explained he would have to purchase a new denture that includes these featuresPatient declines and wants a refundHe stated "I will report you to the Revdex.com, and I will get my refund." We will not return the patient's money because after explaining to him the features of the economy denture as well as the alternatives, he chose the economy denture that does not allow him to make personal choicesNow he wants a refund or us to remake it to address his changing opinionWe fulfilled our obligations, as explained to him, of a functionally fitted appliance that is pleasing to his features, but now he wants to make changes to the finished product *** ***, DMD

Thank you for your response! We will inform Revdex.com of the results of Dr***'s written evaluation immediately upon receipt

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/21) */
Mr*** presented for denture impressions on 4/8/He had plans to have his remaining teeth extracted at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry Oral Surgery Residency programAt the impression appointment I explained to him
that his dentures, that would be tight the day they were delivered, would be loose two weeks later due to the healing processI told him we'd make necessary adjustments to make the dentures more comfortable, and we'd fill the inside of his healing dentures with soft plastic to make them fit his changing mouth as he healed over the next 6-months
We fabricated and delivered the dentures on 4/9/He came in on 4/14/saying the dentures hurt too much to wear(The dentures hurt because they had not been properly adjusted by his oral surgery resident.) We adjusted the healing dentures to comfort and re-appointed him for 4/27/for his first soft linerWe placed soft liners on 4/27, and replaced them on 6/as expected due to healingOn 6/we replaced that soft liner and adjusted his biteMy assistant tells me he never wore the dentures in, but always wore the dentures out of the office, indicating to me that he was not displeased with the dentures at that time
As part of the New Denture Wearers Package he paid for, there is no additional charge for the healing dentures, adjustments, soft liners or the final (2nd) dentureOn 7/8/the patient requested a refundWe offered to remake his healing dentures at no charge, he refusedA check for $of the $he paid was processed on 7/17/He has not returned the healing denture
Our charge is $for adjustments and $per arch for soft linersHe would have accrued more than $in adjustment and soft liner charges, if he hadn't purchased the NDWP
If he returns the healing denture, we'll refund the remaining $he is disputing, and forgive the additional chargesHowever, we can't allow him to keep the denture and his moneyThat wouldn't be "Better Business" on my part
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/07/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Never wanted anything for free , just wanted dentures that would work for me It is really sad that was unable to get adjustments and feel that they listened to my concerns without being disrespected

I have forwarded your email to our corporate in North Carolina due to the fact that she is not a patient of Dr***'s (Roseville Office)We did have her scheduled for an appointment to get her final denture made in our office but we did not have any consultation and didn't start any treatment
because she was very difficult when she came for her consultationCommunication with patient has always been poorly and she is very unfriendly. This is a matter that would need to be addressed through corporate and the Florin location. Note: Patient did not pay our office for her treatment and consultation because she was not been accepted in our office as a patient. Please acknowledge receipt of this email Thank you *** *** ***Affordable Dentures (***)*** *** *** *** *** ***

I purchased a complete premium denture set from affordable dentures, I,ve lost four teeth not satisified with the product and feel I should not have to pay for a bad product from their office ive received multiple cuts upper and lower lesions from the dentures I understand one or two occurences but the dentures are crap and im not paying for faulty dentures that the dentist told me they were trying to iron out the kinks my gums are so cut up from the dentures I can hardly chew they hurt so bad I am considering suing there office for selling me such faulty dentures he wouldn't call me back to discuss any comprehension or settle the bill as paid in full I hope he doesn't deal like this with all his clients as that certainly be bad for practicebottom line I feel unjust with this purchase and was scammed I feel my debt was paid for for all the bad repercussions upon myself and pain and suffering please help with this matter sincerely mr ***

I received a mail piece that advertised an offer for Quality Control Air to do a "special introductory service" for my air conditioner The mailer included points to the service at a fee of only $
The technician positioned his ladder at the opening of my attic and climbed up, pushed open the attic door, stepped up another two rungs and scanned around....never leaving the ladderWithin minutes of the technician's arrival, he asked me when the last time I had the A/C unit serviced I told him that it was within the last yearHe then told me that all my ducts were apart and needed to be reattached to the vents He told me that my my A/C was cooling my attic I then asked him what it would cost to repair the system and he told me it would cost about $1,- $1,and they could set up a payment plan I told him I would have to consult with my wife and that she is out of town for about days
He then sat down at my kitchen table and wrote some figures down and told me that he would do the job for a discounted rate of $1,
I then asked him if he had cleaned out the condensation tray in the attic and he replied that he already vacuumed the drain out on the side of the house Funny thing.....That drain is on the side of the house where I sat in the kitchen and did not hear any vacuum running Also....as I indicated earlier, he was only in my home for minutes before he told me of my "problem." He never was outside doing anything
I believe this episode could be considered "consumer fraud."

We regret that we have not been able to satisfy *** fully at this point. Dentures become loose following tooth extractions due to the immediate shrinkage of bone and gum. That is why a temporary reline was performed (as a standard procedure done in dentistry universally around the
world) for *** shortly after her tooth extractions. However, *** had peeled off ALL the temporary reline off both her dentures and returned for another reline. We did offer a free second reline to and/or a refund to *** at the time she presented last, however she decided to put a negative review on Revdex.com and ask for the refund anyway. We will be more than happy to have *** back in our office and help her with her dentures; however, her daughter who was behaving very unprofessionally and disrespecting the staff and the DDS in the lobby will not be allowed in this office, otherwise the security/police officer will be informed again

My husband came in for an upper denture at 730am Sometime after 8am, we were called back, and the mold was taken of his gums and lower teeth Once the mold was set and he tested them out, he advised Dr M*** *hat they hurt his jaw and that they were crooked She got loud and kept talking over him, rolling her eyes, and insisted it was because his bottom teeth were crooked and that it wasnt his jaw it was hitting, that it was the empty spot on his gums No matter what he said, she got mad and belittled him and talked down to him Finally, she said to the tech to adjust the back teeth on the one side by a millimeter or two They came back minutes or so later looking and feeling the same way And when he said they still hurt his jaw and they were crooked, she flipped out and got downright disrespectful and unprofessional and told him that she cant do anything more and he just needs to go somewhere else..she yelled to the receptionist to refund his money and that he can get them made somewhere else We got our refundbut we wasted hours in that placeand we did not deserve being treated like thatAll he wanted was a usable upper denture that fit his mouth that looked natural Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary He wasnt disrespectful or anything to herWhy treat a person, and a paying customer like that?! "Dr" M*** is no professional in my opinion And she doesnt deserve to work with the public

The patient can be transferred to Roseville but milage will not be compensated. We will be more than happy to see our patient without her daughter present in the room. Her daughter violated Hippa and looked inside the chart especially when she thought it was someone else's. She also illegally started taping conversations in the operatory without informing everyone prior the the start of recording. If she had a concern about the chart, she could have simply asked us to double check and make sure we had the correct chart. Also, she wrongfully and without any proof insisted that the denture her mother is wearing is someone else's and kept saying that to the patient while other patients were present in the other operatories. She was politely asked multiple times by the dentist to leave the operatory prior to performing any treatment on her mother, but she refused to do so. Based on all of the above inappropriate acts and statements on our patient's daughter's part, DDS did not feel comfortable performing treatment on the patient in her daughter's presence. While we had the right to have the police escort the daughter out of the office, we did not do so out of respect and courtesy to our patient. It is not our decision to transfer our patient to another office and will be glad to continue her treatment here; therefore, no gas compensation and/or any compensation will be provided. Our patient is more than welcome to return to our office without the presence of her daughter in the operatory. We regret to lose this patient to her daughter's insubordination and unnecessary defiance and it saddens us to see our patient as a victim of that!
