Airpark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Reviews (123)

Please steer clear of this dealership, horrible customer service! The review is long but worth the read. They may have a large selection and even possibly have the exact vehicle you are looking for, but do not buy from this establishment. Here is how my experience went. I called in and [redacted] Head answered. I told him I was looking at a jeep at another dealership and was wondering if they could offer the same deal since they are 2 miles from my office and it would be far more convenient. After [redacted] asked me a few qualifying questions, he then told me, "I don’t see any reason why we couldn't offer you that price, when can you come in?" I then called my wife to see when she could meet me there. During this process, the original dealership I was talking to called me back and offered me a better deal so I then called [redacted] to see if they could match the new deal that was offered. He said he would have to look at the numbers and call me back. Well, after hours of waiting and me calling a couple of times to find out his answer, I finally got a hold of him. He said he couldn’t do that deal but he hadn’t run the number to see what my price would be, mind you it had been over 4 hours at this point. I asked him when he would have time to give me the exact number and he said an hour. Well, 1 1/2 hours later a salesperson called me and offered me a price that was $2k higher than [redacted] had agreed to on the first phone call. How does that work? I then asked for [redacted] and he pretended to have no idea what I was talking about. They mentioned that they record all calls and I asked if they could look up my first call, and the strangest thing....that particular call was not in system. All other calls were. Based on the shady business that was going on, I asked that [redacted] have the GM [redacted] call me so I could inform him of poor business practice, and I still have not heard from anyone and its been 4 days. You have now been warned; take your business to a dealership with ethics, not Airpark.

Review: My 2002 jeep liberty (VIN [redacted]) has several recall issues that need to be adressed.

1) Front ball joints

2) fuel tank

3)Driver side air bag

4)passanger side air bag and possibly more that I'm not aware of.

I called the service dept and told them about the problem and they agreed to take care of the ball joints but they need to order the necessary parts. Several weeks passed with no response. I called again and they started again with the need to order the parts. The person who I talked with also decided on the phone that only the ball joints are in need of replacement and the tank issue is ok as well as both of the air bags. All this without ever seeing the vehicle. My daughter drives the vehicle with two todllers in it for the most part and I am not convinced that the dealer is actually willing to do the work. I'm also concerned about the time it takes for the job to be completed. I was told 4 days.Desired Settlement: I need "all" the issues to be adressed to manufacturers specifications and in a timely manner as well as a vehicle I can use if the work takes a substantial amount of time. More than one day,

Response:

Late last week, we had this vehicle brought into the shop and cleared 3 of the 4 open recalls on the vehicle. The 4th was unable to be completed at this time due to parts availability from Chrysler. The incomplete recall was recently announced by the manufacturer and the customer will receive a secondary notice once parts are available. Please inform us if there are any further concerns.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: There have been a lot of other issues that have been fixed with repeated

attempts, but I do not know if they will last.

My 2014 Ram was purchased, and maintained at Scottsdale Airpark ram.

This has not been my first truck. I've owned over fourteen Chevy 2500 l TZ's in my

life. Also some of them had the exhaust break. I never had any issues like this.

Meaning, never an issue. Also this is not my first time towing, I have towed a

trailer for the last 20 years, and I have been towing equipment since I was 7 years

old on a farm. So 37 years of towing, and driving heavy equipment/trucks.Desired Settlement: I would like something done

before someone or I gets hurt or killed.

Response:

Tell us why here...Airpark Dodge Chrysler Jeep has been working with Mr. [redacted] on his issues. He is scheduled on February 10, 2015 to have the headliner repaired and to meet with the Chrysler representative to address his concerns. We have also asked Mr. [redacted] to either contact an attorney to start lemon law proceedings or contact Chrysler Customer Care to open a CAIR and start lemon law proceedings with them. He has refused both so far. Buyback of vehicles goes through the corporation and not the dealership. He has to contact Chrysler or have an attorney contact Chrysler. We have also asked Mr. [redacted] to have another dealership try to duplicate some of his concerns since we have been unable to. He has not done this either. Therefore, Airpark Dodge Chrysler Jeep has done all we can at the current time. We have scheduled an appointment for the headliner and set up a meeting with the Chrysler representative, [redacted]. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.Sincerely,[redacted]
