Review: I was in contact with AJ Richie regarding a Digital Camera Purchase. I had spoken with a gentlemen in sales named [redacted]. I inquired about a package deal on a camera and he had said he had the best prices and would throw in all of these extras. I went to work that evening after ordering the items and then realized after looking on ebay that his prices were way too high for the said camera. When I got home from work 6 hours later 9PM Alaska time or 1AM New York time, I emailed [redacted] cancelling the sale. I followed up with a phone call to the phone number I had called previously and left a message that I was cancelling the order as I was purchasing elsewhere. I did not hear anything and checked with my bank the following day and nothing had been charged or come through. I purchased the camera elsewhere. Several days later I got an email saying that the order was placed. I called [redacted] and told him that I had cancelled and did not want it as his supposed "good" "Best" price was a fraud. I was charged 3549.98. on my card, He waited a couple of days later after our initial conversation to charge the card. That should be illegal. I believe I spoke with him on the [redacted] and he charged the card on the [redacted]. I had spoken with my bank informing them that this charge was not authorized. The next time I spoke with [redacted] he was very belligerent to me on the phone, I got extremely upset as I had incurred this charge I could not afford for 2 cameras. This was all unnecessary. He at some point told me that he was offended as he is a Christian and hung up on me. He called and called and I finally answered and told him I was offended as I am Jewish. Anyway, I considered this to all be verbal abuse. He has made it seem like it is impossible to return the camera. And well, you can't cancel via email and it says that in their contract. The website states "Easy Returns". I got the camera finally. A neighbor got it misdelivered to them as it was shipped USPS. I was not going to accept the box. I was at work. I got curious and opened it to find out that many of his promised items were missing. The free tripod was not in the box nor was the extra SD card or extra camera grip. This has been extremely distressing to me. All because some arrogant [redacted] needs commissions. This guy is a con man of the worse kind. He has offended me, threatened me, threatened my personal religious beiiefs and generally upset me over something that should have been my "right"; cancelling an order 6 hours after I ordered it.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund. I feel I should get more than that as he has been extremely abusive and unprofessional and has lied as well. I too work in sales and would never force anyone to take merchandise or services unwanted.

I feel that the [redacted] of this establishment needs to know about some of [redacted]'s tactics to sell. He needs to apply his craft to some seedy used car lot or something. I feel abused and taken advantage of. I request a full refund to be put back in my account by Tuesday. I am returning the camera tomorrow. I would like to be reimbursed for my return shipping as well. This kind of thing really gives establishments in NY a bad name and reputation. I would also like a full written apology from [redacted]. Personally, I would fire him if I owned the place and found out how he manipulates and lies to get a sale.

Review: Ordered an item from them over two weeks ago and have not been provided any updates of any kind regarding shipping or tracking. Bought a camera body on 09/**/2013. I have called in to get tracking information on my order and they can not provide any details to me. All they say is you will receive an email with updates on tracking. After two weeks of receiving no information, I called in to cancel my order. The Customer Service Department was rude and told me they would send me out an email that same day verifying my cancellation. Never received that email either. Then I called them today and they told me a completely different story. They still to this day have not been able to provide me either tracking or cancellation email. When I called in today, the Customer Service Department told me they did not have time to talk to me because I was cancelling my order and they would rather be assisting someone who is actually purchasing something from them. This is completely unacceptable. This camera body cost me over 1600 dollars!Desired Settlement: I just want other people to be award of this company and how horrible they treat their customers.

The tracking number was NEVER provided to me as the seller states in his response. The cancellation email was never provided to me either as they stated I would receive. I still to this exact minute have not received my cancellation email. So you have to read their entire website for everything. It states free shipping but in the "fine lines" way under the terms and conditions it states there are overseas fees that occur. I can almost promise you if you were to reach out to them right now, they still would not be able to give you a tracking number. Even if the order was cancelled, there surely would of been a tracking number at some point. I do not care to ever do business with these people and I will make sure to tell people not to as well.

Review: I have placed an order for a camera from AjRichies.com on 8/*/2013 for a total of $319.99. I was contacted via telephone by an AjRichies sales associate on 8/*. The associate attempted to upsell my order by trying to sell some additional accessories which I had no need for. After I refused additional accessories, I was told that the order would be sent to their warehouse and would be shipped shortly. I later that day received an email with this same information. My debit card was charged for the full amount on 8/**. Since that time I have tried to get information about this order by sending numerous emails to the email address that they provided for such matters, and have had no response. I have also called their customer service phone number on 3 or 4 occasions and was on hold for a total of 2 hours, and finally gave up. If I go on their web site and try to track the order by providing my email address and order number, the site indicates that there in no such order. On 9/** and again on 9/** I sent them an email requesting that they cancel the order and return my money which they have held for close to 2 months. The order number for this order is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I wish this ordered to be canceled and to get a full refund credited to my credit card.

Review: I placed my order on October *, 2014 for a Sony DSC-RX100ii camera. I was notified on Monday, October * to verify the shipping address and was quickly upsold on some accessories and warranty plan, without much time to think it over. I was told the camera would be received in 7-10 days. On Wednesday, October ** (16 days later) I called AJ Richie's to get an update on the order, or at the least a tracking number, since I had none. My credit card had been promptly charged on October *. I was repeatedly hung up on, told that I was incorrect in my expectations of when the camera would be ordered, and that the tracking number just had not been processed yet. If I was supposed to receive the camera 6 days ago, there was something wrong if no tracking number had been processed yet. I went on to read review online, and this was AJ Richie's typical practice, and every single review I read was clear they did business unethically and rip people off.

I promptly called my credit card company to refute the charge, which showed up on my credit card statement on 10/**. The tracking number did showed up the evening of October **, and a camera was 2-day shipped to my house. Upon arrival and initial inspection, the camera is not a the product I was expecting. It is imported, not covered by the Sony 1-year USA warranty, did not include an owner's manual, and the "Service Plan Registration Kit" appears to not be legitimate. I also believe I overcharged, and reeled in by a less expensive price on the camera and then upcharged on the phone. Because I already refuted the charge with my credit card, I have sent everything back (unopened) to AJ Richie's with the original invoice and a note that I am returning it, and wish to do no further business with them.Desired Settlement: I wish to have an email apology and be compensated for the amount that I spent to ship the camera back. Because I refuted the charge with my credit card, and do not want the inferior product, I have returned it. I do not need a refund from them for the order since my credit card company took care of it. I only wish to have them refund the cost of shipping it back, and to also report them so they do not continue to scam other people. I recommend reading online reviews of AJ Richie. The picture is quite clear, and I wish I would have done that prior to placing my order.

Review: Ordered a Nikon D5200, decided to cancel my order. Called the 1-888 number, was placed on hold indefinitely, hung up on etc... Ordered a nikon D5200 on 7/**/13 for $519.99. Decided to cancel my order 7/**/13, I called the company, was put on hold and hung up on multiple times. Finally got through, was told my order was cancelled and promised a full refund in 7-10 days. I asked for a confirmation email to verify the cancelation, was told to wait 48hours. Have not received email, and can not get through to the company via phone. Review: Bait & Switch, Misleading Advertisement, Slow and Disrespectful Customer Service

I ordered a Sony camera from their website. They contacted me afterward to tell me that the camera is not a US model and tried to sell me on paying an additional $200 for the US model and trying to get me to buy additional accessories. They used pressure tactics and finally reduced the price of the upgrade to $150. Against my better judgment, I consented. I ordered the camera on July [redacted]. Today is July [redacted] and I still have not received the camera. I called yesterday to cancel, but they said it had already shipped. I asked them to send me the tracking number, but they never did. Today I called back to cancel and when they found out why I was calling, they hung up on me. I sent them an e-mail requesting them to cancel the order and they told me that they would charge me a 15% restocking fee. They continually put pressure on me not to cancel the order and were quite rude. I am mostly reporting this because I don't want other people to be scammed into doing business with this disreputable company.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a complete refund and cancellation of my order.

Review: I am a international student who is from Korea. I purchased camera packages which was priced 3,709,00$ from Ajrichie.com last year ** November 2013. I received them on ** December 2013. When I checked all of items, I realized that they delivered totally wrong products to me. As soon as I got the products, I sent e-mail to them but they didn't give me any messages. I called them during week day. I said "why did you send me wrong products that I never ordered? I want to get a refund. A sales representative said "No, I can't refund it." I couldn't understand why I couldn't get a refund. They sent me wrong products which was unsealed and priced 3,799,99$. I was trying to call him again and again and begged him to get a refund. But he just said "No" and if you want original product that you really want, you have to pay 2,100,00$ again and return the products that we delivered. I said you meant I lose about 5,800,00$? He said "Yes" without any hesitation. I asked student adviser to help resolve this problem. She talked to the sales representative, but the sales representative denied everything about their business policy. The policy said ALL RETURNS OR EXCHANGE MUST BE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT. Review: Made an order on 6/**/2013 and cancelled the order the morning of 6/**/2013 because the amount quoted of $425.?? was not what I was charged. My debit card was charged $572.39. I have never heard of a company charging you before the merchandise was shipped. I was told it would be 7-10 days before my money was refunded even though nothing had been shipped. Contacted them over 14 days later because I had not received my refund and was told it would be 30 days. Needless to say I have contacted them countless times and get a different story every time. I have been hung up on several times. Review: I placed an order for an Olympus digital camera that was represented in NEW condition on the RJRichies.com website due to a very competitive price and seemingly professional website with some reputable reviews. The next day I receive an email and a phone call asking to verify my payment information, which turned out to be an aggressive sales call. The representative named [redacted] breezed through the "verification" process (asking to confirm my name & address) just get to his pitch for an extended battery, memory card, and warranty. He claimed the camera only came with a non-rechargeable battery and it "would only last for 20 minutes". Obviously I knew something was wrong since this was a high end (supposedly new) camera from Olympus with a long-lasting, rechargeable battery. He was very rude, saying he was only trying to help me out and sell me a battery that lasted longer than 20 minutes. When I objected, he then patronized me and said "it's not like it costs a fortune". He then moved to his next pitches of a memory card and extended warranty, which I did not purchase originally. I informed him that if I needed these items, I would have purchased them in the first place. He gave the impression that the order was being held hostage without the extended battery, memory card, and extended warranty. Eventually he gave up and said the order was processed. I then called their "customer service" department and informed them of the tactics and rude account manager, to which he said "ok thanks" and hung up on me. I called back the next day and cancelled the order, which the guy said "ok the order is cancelled" and hung up on me yet again. No cancellation notice has been received by email and the order still says "Processed" on their order status page, which is alarming. Overall, the experience was bizarre and concerning. One can only speculate what type of product (if any) I would have received and what the timeframe would have been. Currently I am watching my credit card activity to ensure no charges are applied since no product was actually shipped. I am highly suspect of any company that does not treat their customers with the highest level of service and even harasses them to purchase additional items before sending the original order.Desired Settlement: My intention is to alert the Revdex.com of unethical business practices from AJ Richies and ensure I am not charged since no product was shipped/delivered.

I am satisfied to have assurance that no charges will be incurred, however, advise the Revdex.com to investigate how these products are marketed as "NEW" and the business' reference to being a "wholesaler" and that "not a retailed unit". They make no attempt to make this clear to the customer and I believe to be a deceptive practice.

Review: Several places were advertising Canon EOS-7D for $729.00 I called AJrichie and was asked if I wanted the American or the Malaysian version. I asked what the difference was, the Malaysian version had no wifi no books, the controls are in Chinese, nothing in the box but the camera body which is plastic. The American version is $ 400.00 more. Other sites selling the camera don't have the Malaysian version, or the Increased cost. I felt he was trying to bait and switch products on me.Desired Settlement: I wanted the American version for the advertised price

Review: Found this site online. Had a sale on the Nikon D610 for $1399. Tried to order online, but wouldn't let me upgrade shipping. Called to order

Let me know that it was not the US model. The US model , would be $1699 instead!! Free 3 day shipping. After going back and forth I decided it was still the best deal I had found and said ok.

Was then told that there was no battery etc and declined to get any other accessories.

Completed my order and was told it would go out the same day for delivery. I never got an email with receipt or any tracking information.

Complained through 3 different emails and was finally sent a receipt and was charged $1799. An additional $100 that cleared the bank already.

Called and was told there was another 6% charge for insurance that I never agreed to or was told about.

Was told they couldn't give me the money back but would send me a high speed sd card, long life battery and sd card reader and (this being 4 days later) was told tracking info would be sent out by the end of the day.

Still have NO tracking information and can't get any email replies now.

Finally got a hold of someone on the phone... same guy I talked to before (weird how they seem to have no one else to talk to ever)

I told this guy I never got the email and at first he acted like he didn't know who I was and let me know they just got tracking information and would email it to me. I asked why I couldnt get it over the phone, if they had it and he tried to tell me it was warehouse information and warehouse wasn't open yet. Even though he had put me on hold, to contact warehouse and find out if it was there.

I let him know I had nothing but problems since ordering and he all of a sudden remembered talking to me and told me, he was the one I had talked to the day before!

I then tried to inform him of everything going on again which he wouldnt let me do. Instead he cut me off every time.

I told him to stop interrupting me and let me finish. I let him know I read over the HUNDRESD of reviews, scam reports and F rating with the Revdex.com to which he told me, there are no such things reported against them!

I told him I wanted to cancel the order and he told me I could not.

Then, turned around and told me he was going to charge a restocking fee. I let him know he would NOT charge anything else to my account without my permission, to which he told me "Sorry but that wont happen, There will be a fee for restocking on your card"

I let him know I was going to call the bank and have payment reported and cancel my card so no other charges would go through and he told me to go ahead, that the charge would be there before I called!

Almost $2k spent, I have no camera, am being charged another fee and was NEVER told I would even be refunded, before he hung up on me and now will not talk to me when I call back!

What a scam!!Desired Settlement: I want a FULL refund of the $1799 charge and any other charges they have applied without consent.

This place needs to be shut down!

Review: I bought a camera AJRichies showed online in date 12/**/13 (Nikon D610 with 28 300 lens). They told me I need to do a wire transfer and I did it. I deposit US2.000 in its account, the amount camera's cost. They sent me a different camera (Nikon D7000 with 70 300 lens). Those cameras are very different between, I pay for a Fx format; the sent me a Dx format. The camera they sent do not cost US1200.

I did call them and explained the situation. They say "no problem, we will pick back up the wrong camera and will send the right camera to your address in the next two days". I am living in Colombia, South America and I am having time in Washigton and New Jersey, I was in San Antonio Texas (where the camera was sent) in a medical meeting. They didn't pick back up the camera. Hotel's staff sent me the camera to Washington. I have tried to communicate with them through many ways but they refuse phone calls, hang up phone calls or just delay o lie about solutions. They always say a manager will call me or call some of my friends, but it has been false each time. I wish to solve this situation without a legal management, because I am just interested in recover my total money invested in this suspicious business.Desired Settlement: 1. They accept I return them the wrong camera they sent and return me the whole money I did pay.

2. The change the wrong camera for the right camera with the right lens.

This is a perfect example of dishonesty and complete disrespect towards clients.

They advertise items at lower price to lure buyers and after tell you that item is not available and to get it you have to pay extra for priority shipping; and after all send you already opened items as "new".

How more dishonest it could get?

Next, you call spent minimum 30 min on hold each time you call or redial after you got disconnected in attempt to get your money back.

Even after the product was returned (and it is documented by fedex tracking system) they still playing games and trying to keep my money.Desired Settlement: Complete refund for already returned item.

Review: I had ordered a camera from AJRichies on July **, 2013 and in the email it said it would take 3-5 business days to process. 5 days later, on July **, 2013, I get an email saying they couldn't reach me with the contact information that I provided and asked to call them to resolve the issue. In the confirmation email it has the contact info that I gave them and there is nothing wrong with it. When I called them on July **, 2013 to resolve the issue, the person that I was speaking to, whose name is [redacted], started to try and sell more products instead of resolving the issue, that didn't exist. And he didn't just offer the products, but was really pushing them with a forceful attitude until finally giving up. Later that day I got an email saying that the order was placed and my card was billed, (it took them 5 days to just finally get around to doing anything). The email also said that the order would be shipped shortly. I called the company August **, 2013, because I had not received any email or contact of any sort saying that they had shipped the product. Their policy says that if you choose the free shipping option, (which I did) that it would take 2 to 2 1/2 weeks to be DELIVERED TO YOU! After 17 days I didn't even get a tracking number saying that it went anywhere from their warehouse. So when I called the company, I asked them if it was shipped yet just to make sure that I wouldn't do anything without verifying the status of the order. They told me that it wasn't shipped, so I told them to cancel my order and send me a refund. They canceled it and told me that I would get my refund in 14 days. That time, and every other time that I called, not one of the people introduced themselves by name and I never got any names from them except for [redacted] who mentioned his name in an email that he sent to me after our conversation. It seems as if they are being evasive on purpose. 14 business days later, on August **, 2013, I noticed that my refund had not showed up in my account, so I called them again. This time the person with who I spoke told me that I would get my refund on September *, 2013. It is now September **, 2013, and I still have no refund.Desired Settlement: A refund of $329.99 as soon as possible.

Review: I purchased a Nikon camera from AJRichies on July *, 2013. The advertised price on the internet site that I purchased from was $469.00. When the camera arrived there was an invoice included showing they had charged my credit card $599. When I called an questioned them about the discrepancy they were extremely rude and non-compliant with my request as to what the additional charges were for. In addition, the Nikon box that the camera was in was not in pristine condition leading me to believe that the camera may not have even been new. I called for a return authorization which they gave me and returned the camera to them on July [redacted] via the Post Office. On July [redacted] I received an e-mail from AJRichies acknowledging that they had received the merchandise back and a credit would be issued in 7-10 business days which it was not. I have spoken to them on 2 additional occasions in which they promised a credit to my credit card of $599. As of this date they have failed to issue that credit.Desired Settlement: In addition to a credit card refund, it would be my hope that someone who monitors fraudulent and deceptive business practices have a thorough look at the operations of AJRichies. Since my initial purchase I have read dozens and dozens of reviews on the practices of AJRichies, none of which were good. In all the years that I have been doing on-line purchases I have never had an experience that remotely resembles the experience that I had with AJRichies. They simply should not be allowed to be in business, these people are knowingly deceptive.

Responding to the reply to my complaint against AJRichies, it is true that I filed a dispute with my credit card company (Capital One). They have in fact credited my account for the amount of the original purchase and have charged back AJRichies for that amount. However, AJRichies has 45 days to respond to my dispute and as of this date I have not received any notification from my credit card company that this dispute has been finalized. There does exist the possibility that the credit card company could reverse that credit to my account should they find in favor of AJRichies. As a result I am proceeding with my complaint until I am assured otherwise as I do not necessarily believe the response you received from AJRichies.

My complaint is 2 fold against AJRichies. Not only did they refuse to refund my money after 3 separate promises, they are also extremely guilty of deceptive business practices. I would imagine that based on the way they treated me that I have not been the only complaint you have received filed against them. They have a very long list of bad reviews written about them, most of them for the same complaints. After I placed my initial on-line order, I was told that I had to contact them as they could not ship my order as they needed more credit card information. Upon calling them, they proceeded to start upselling me on many items most of which I declined. They did sell me what they called a " 2 hour battery" as the one that came with the camera would not be sufficient according to their words. The cost was $70 and he told me that he would upgrade me to a 3 hour battery at no charge. When the camera came and after my own investigation, I compared the battery to the same battery from the same camera that my sister-in-law just purchased from Walmart and it was the same battery.

Upon further investigation I came to find that there is only one battery that is made for that camera. In addition, on their website they advertise "free shipping" but come to find out that they charged me $60 for "insurance and handling". Last item would be the condition of the camera box. It was in less than pristine condition and it is my suspicion that the camera that they sold me was used. This has been the worst on-line purchase that I have ever been involved with and it is also my hope that Revdex.com will investigate my claims about the business practices of AJRichies.

as mentioned before we are not fighting the dispute we owed the money so we are accepting the dispute we did have an issue with out merchant account and that was the reason why he was not credited we were working on trying to get our merchant account unlocked but they didn't unlock it for us till last week so we are now putting in refunds for people that deserve a refund since he disputed he already got his money back there is no reason to keep this complaint open

Review: I have purchase a camera NIKON COOLPIX AW100 on 06/**/13, NEW and in BLACK color as was show in the website. I have not received a new one. It came in a white box with a sticker showing the model and color BLUE. I did not open the box because I wanted to returned. I emailed them 3 times without response. I tried to call but when I began to explain the problem the left me on hold for more than 15 minutes I have talked to a NIKON customer service representative who told me that no cameras come in white box and that company is not an authorized Nikon dealer. Review: Aj Richie is an illegitimate company. I caution anyone and everyone from placing business, money, or trust with this company. I would not even wish this kind of treatment on my mortal enemy.

First, if you order anything do not expect to receive it in the timeframe they provide. In fact, don't expect to receive it at all. The US model camera I ordered was "stuck in customs" which is why they said I didn't receive it. Second, if you can't wait an eternity for your item and cancel your order don't expect then to actually cancel it on the first phone call. Although, they will tell you they cancelled it they have no way to provide you proof. Apparently they can't send an email confirming cancellation but they can email you an order confirmation (explain that one). Third, don't expect to receive a refund in the timeframe they provide. In fact, don't expect to receive a refund at all. They'll say 7-10 business days so you'll wait 12 with no refund. They'll say your bank declined the refund which is a blatant lie. They'll then say you'll get the money within 24-48 hours but on the SAME phone call they'll say it takes 30 days. They'll then hang up on you because they can't socialize with the customers. This has been an issue for over a month now and I've given the Company plenty of time to resolve the issue. I'm convinced that this isn't even a real company at this point and I want, no NEED, my money back immediately.Desired Settlement: Refund the full amount of $2499.00. I never received the item. I cancelled my order and you have yet to refund my money.
