Review: I ordered a Panasonic Lumix dmc-zs30 after x-mas.The price was $289.00 with free shipping. When the camera arrived I was charged $389.00 plus $14.99 shipping. I also got a memery card and battery, the camera comes with both, now I have 2. When I called to find out why I was overchaged $100.00. The man I talked to explained that I got the export model. RIGHT! The camera came from Japan. He said that he would refund $50.00 and send me a camera case. I got the case(it was worth about 99 cents and broken). Review: On Sept **, 2013, I ordered a canon camera and lenses online from this company due to the fact it listed the lowest prices of any other vendor. I received e-mail and a call from one male representative indicating the purchase could not be completed until I called and verified the shipping information. When I called I was harassed by the sales representative in his efforts to get me to purchase more equipment and warranties. I told him I could not afford the additional equipment. On Oct [redacted], AJ Richies charged $1499.00 on my credit card and attempted to make three more charges of $999, $1000, and $2259...which my [redacted] declined and sent me a fraud alert. I have attempted to call and e-mail this company everyday for two weeks straight. The phone recording only plays irritating music for 15 minutes, before I finally hang up, or the voice mailbox is full. I have NOT received any merchandise to this date, Nov **, 2013, nor has my credit card been refunded the $1499.00.Desired Settlement: This company should be shut down. It is a complete SCAM! Had I thought to research the company before placing the order I would have found the numerous Revdex.com complaints. I have been had!

Review: I ordered an Olympus TG2 camera on May**, 2013 from AJRichies on-line for $325.00. A week later someone called from the company and asked if I wanted a five-hour battery. I said yes. He also asked if I wanted a 16 GB media card. He said if I ordered the 8 GB card they would upgrade it to 16GB. I agreed. He failed to tell me the cost and when I saw my credit card statement, I realized that he had charged me $649.99 for everything. I called and spoke with the man and asked why it was so much. He told me the battery costs $150.00 and the media card $200.00. When I asked why it was so much that I could buy a media card locally for about $25.00, he replied that the camera took a special card and that it costs more. After speaking to him, I contacted Olympus Company directly and was told that the battery he sold me comes free with the camera. Also the 16 GB media card for this camera is a standard one and costs $29.99 from their store. I called and tried to cancel my order but was told the shipment had already left. I asked where the shipping number was, and he said I would receive it shortly. After four more days I got my credit card company involved and we tried to get my money back. This was also unsuccessful. The next day I received a shipping number for FedEx, but when I put the number in, I was told it was invalid. After another week, I finally received a camera from [redacted] but it did not say it was from AJRichie. A few days later I also received a media card with a cleaning kit. Again it did not say who had sent it. My credit card company received a notice that these items were sent by AJRichie.com.Desired Settlement: This company has lied to me several times, has deceived me about the product, charged me for things which were included for free, and overcharged me for some items. Thank you for your e-mail. To clarify my point of concern with your system: You sent me an e-mail with the seller's response. It then gave me two choices: "Accept Business Response" or "Reject Business Response." When I click on "Reject Business Response," a form comes up with information about the complaint and a box that says "Text." When I click on this box to write my response, nothing happens. I tried numerous times and many different options last evening, but nothing worked. I finally gave up in frustration.

Now to my complaint: Yes, I did receive everything ordered from this company. That is not the complaint. I originally ordered an Olympus FG-2 camera for $325.00. I received a call from the company a week later and was asked if I wanted a two-hour battery or a five-hour battery. I said I wanted the five-hour. I was then asked if I wanted a 32 GB memory card. I also agreed to that because I knew that the card is not included with the camera. What I failed to do is find out what these two things would cost me, which was my fault. When I saw on my credit card statement that my camera had now doubled it price to $649.99. I immediately called to find out why, and was told that the battery was $150.00 and the memory card was $200.00. When I replied that I could get a memory card locally for $30.00, the man replied that this camera took a special card.

After the conversation, I did some research. I called Olympus and was told that the TG-2 battery comes with the five-hour battery (not a two-hour battery). Please note that the man in his response says the camera comes with a "20-30 minute battery." Olympus has the five-hour battery for under $30.00. I also looked at [redacted] and found I could buy a two-pack of these batteries for $16.99. [redacted] also has the same 32 GB memory card for $31.99 (not $200.00!)

In summary, the two "upgrades" would have cost me $48.98 at [redacted] but AJRichies charged me $325.00! Is it against the law to overcharge for products? Probably not, if there are people (such as I) who are naïve enough to pay the outrageous prices.

When I discovered all of this, I called and tried to cancel my order but was told it was too late. The person I spoke to at AJRichies has continually lied about everything (such as the 20-30 minute battery). I know there is no secular law against lying, so if that is what he wants to do, that is his right. I have tried several times to rectify this situation with the company, but to no avail.

If you Google "AJRichies Complaints," you will see that there are numerous unresolved complaints with this company where people have been swindled out of money or the right product. Unfortunately I did not discover this until it was too late for me. It amazes me that a company can treat their customers in this manner and stay in business.

I think I have exhausted all avenues to resolve my dilemma, so I will not pursue it further. I will accept this as an expensive learning experience to do my research before ordering from an unknown company. I have been naïve thinking that on-line businesses are honest and fair in dealing with their customers. AJRichies has taught me that this is not true. All I can do now is warn other people about this company.

Review: I ordered the "Canon EOS Rebel T3i with Canon EF-S 18-55 IS Lens" from this merchant. Their SKU for this product is CANEOST3IKIT. A customer service representative, [redacted], only informed me that a battery was not going to be included with my order after I paid for the item. I had to press him to obtain this information over the phone. The following is the first paragraph from the product description:

"The Canon EOS Rebel T3i Digital Camera Kit provides you with the T3i body and a Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens. You'll be ready to shoot from day one with this set-up. Just charge the included LP-E8 battery pack and pop in an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card and you're ready to start making photos! The "product includes" tab makes no mention of the battery and it is not mentioned under the items not included list. I let [redacted] know that the product description indicates that a battery is in fact included and asked him that I would like one to be shipped with my order. He responded by saying "I'd like a million bucks but I can't have that" in a very rude tone. I have had a very unsatisfactory customer service experience with this merchant.Desired Settlement: I see that there have been an enormous amount of complaints on Revdex.com regarding this merchant. Maybe they should be reported to a state regulatory agency that can impose sanctions on them. I have wasted a lot of time dealing with this merchant as I am sure the dozens of other customers who have posted complaints on Revdex.com also have.

Review: I ordered a Nikon D5200 camera online on 9/*/2013. The confirmation e-mail I received said the order would be processed in 3-5 days and delivery would take 10-14 days. I called 9/**/2013 to check on my order and was told it was shipping today. When I did not receive the camera I finally called back on 10/*/2013 and spent well over 30 minutes on hold and was treated very rudely on the phone. When I finally got to talk to somebody I was told the camera just arrived in the United States and I would receive it Monday 10/*/2013 at the very latest. When I did not receive the camera on Monday I called again and was told it is shipping today and you will receive it on Wednesday 10/*/2013. It is Thursday 10/**/2013 and I still have not received my camera!!Desired Settlement: I want the camera that I paid for over a month ago or an immediate refund of my money.

Review: I have tried to call AJRICHIES approximately 10-15 times within the past week to get a copy of an invoice from the company. I have spoken to a person twice and have been on hold approximately 2 hours total time with an average of 20 minutes on hold before speaking to anyone or giving up. Approximately every 5 minutes a voice would interrupt the music, say please hold, and put me back on hold indefinitely. I have called in the morning, at lunch, after lunch and before 4 PM all with the same results.

The first time I spoke to a person they took my email address and said I would be sent the invoice in the mail, however he never took down any other information other than my fathers name (the purchaser) and my email, they did not verify my identity in any way and did not send the invoice.

The second person I talked to said he would have to look up the information and put me on hold for another 8 minutes before I gave up and called back again.

This blatant disregard for their customers is extremely frustrating and absolutely ridiculous for anyone to have to be on hold that long.Desired Settlement: I want the copy of the invoice I requested for the purchase dated ** Dec 2012, for $519.98 from Ajrichies of NY by [redacted] to [redacted]

Review: PRODUCT DELIVERY: On 8/**/13, I ordered on-line at AjRichies a DSLR Nikon D5200 camera with 18-105mm VR lens, with free table tripod and clean screen protector included. The Order No. is [redacted]. I paid with my Visa of $784.99 plus $54 insurance & handling for total of $839.99. Their confirmation email stated that the delivery and ground shipping may take 10 to 14 business days to arrive at my address. I called them on the 14-days (8/**/13) and talk to a sales rep who ask ‘my last name’ and not my Order No., why the camera and lens has not arrived yet and also ask if I can get a tracking number. He said that they already process the order and will email my tracking number tomorrow (8/**/2013) and hang up. The following day 8/**/13, I tried calling for my tracking number which on same manner ask my ‘last name’ and connected me to their Customer Service Dept. which end up me listening to a music-answering service. I tried calling 9/* – 9/* (Mon.-Tues.) which again connecting me to their Customer Service that no one answering. I called on 9/*/13, informing me that the company will be on vacation until 9/*/13. First of all thank you Revdex.com for persuading my complaint against AjRichie Store. Helping consumers surely eases frustration against imperfect businesses...such as AjRichie.

Yes, I got my money back from my bank after complaining to them about my DSLR Camera and Lens order and possible fraudulent and scam procedure from small AiRichie Store. AjRichie respond letter is just lie! They say that they are the one at loss…that is **! They just covering up that they will send me another shipment and the item is lost along the way. If they are telling the truth, why they not have shipping ‘tracking system’ to give me? Why they do not answer and entertain my call. Do they wonder why it took more than 15 days why I have not received the shipment instead 10-14 days when I called their Sale’s Rep. They just only know how to sell and get victims without shipping the items. I believed that they are hiding their identity in order to continue luring and continue holding-up victims. If I did not complain to my bank and Revdex.com…guaranteed, I just been a pure victim of scam bag store and my money was just been rob. Again, their business operations should be investigated and refer to Police or FBI. Their advertisement should be taken out of the shelf and their store should be closed.

After several calls to the company, with promises that the item would be delivered, after they had to order it from "overseas", the item still has not been delivered. I received no voluntary explanations from the company, I had to initiate all the calls. The final was an expected delivery on October [redacted], but it did not come. I called on October [redacted], and they said if I wanted to wait longer, it would be by October [redacted]. I refused, and ask for an immediate refund, they said it would take 14 more days for a refund. I am livid. Review: I ordered a product and it took two months to reach me so I decided that I did not want something from this company and returned it. I was told that my money would come back in 7-10 business. It is now 14 days late and I am told that I will have to wait another 5 days for the return of the payment. At this point, I am not sure that I will be receiving my money back. During this time I made several phone calls. I was hung up on during two of them. I was also told over the phone that, "At least I got a product, some people didn't even get a product." This was the second phone call in which was promptly hung up on.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. If I get it on Tuesday, I would be so happy. If not, I want them to be forced to give me my money back because they already said they would and it is unheard of for a customer to wait more than 20 days to receive a refund when it has already been processed.

Review: After ordering a Canon 5d MarkIII camera, I received an email stating they wanted verbal confirmation that I wanted my order. While I was at work my wife called them several times trying to confirm our order. I called towards the end of the day and got someone on the phone who said they were talking to my wife on the other line. They got her off the line and started discussing my order with me then told me oh hey your wife is calling in again, should I just talk to her? Since the camera was for her I said sure and got off the phone. Turns out he was lying. She didnt call in. He called her once I got off the phone, then proceeded to tell her how bad the camera we ordered was, saying it was from Japan and all plastic. He then convinced her to get a different model that he claimed was the same quality and essentially increased our order by several hundred dollars for a Camera of lower quality. As soon as she told me what happened, we tried to call them back to cancel our order but they were closed (2 hours earlier than their stated close time). I sent them an email telling them to cancel our order immediately. The next morning we called until they opened. We told them to cancel the order when they lied to us again and told us it was already shipped. Later the same day another person from their store called me. I explained what happened and the man had no reaction. When I asked him for a link to where on their site it says their products are imports he told me you have the internet, I have looked since and do not see anywhere that their products are all from Japan as he said. He then told me OK, I have canceled your order and am refunding $XXX to your account. I turned to my wife and asked how much the order ended up being. The amounts didnt agree. He then told me that there was a 15% cancellation fee. While I told him I was not going to pay it he hung up on me!Desired Settlement: This place should not be allowed to scam people the way they are. They need to be disallowed from doing business.

I spoke to fed-ex rep and she told me that it only takes between 3 and 5 days to trace. 7/** no one answered the phone again for 1 hour wait. Order #[redacted] from AjRichies.com Never recieved confirmation on any shipping, only they charged my Visa $335.00. Told 3-5 days to recieve tracking info. Never happend, called them multipul times takes for every to get someone, who then puts you on HOLD, then answers, and put on hold again, then hangs up. Waited until 9-*-2013 and finally sent e-mail to cancell my order and refund my money they never respond to anything only take money. They say it will be in my account on 9-**-2013. I do not believe anything they say. This is my first compaint with Revdex.com. Believe me AjRichies is running a scam operation. Review: On or about June *, 2013 I ordered a Panasonic LX7 camera from AjRichies. I gave them my credit card number at that time. The next day I got an e-mail from them, tell me I had to call them to confirm my order. When I called they tried to up sell me to a very expensive replacement battery. When I told them I did not want the battery, just ship the camera I was told that I would receive an e-mail with the tracking number. I got an e-mail saying that they had charged my card the $294.99, but there was no tracking number. I waited a few days then called to find out about my tracking number to confirm the camera had shipped. I was told there was a back order and the camera would ship in a few days. After a few weeks and a few more phone call, still no tracking number and still no camera. During one call, their rep hung up on me. When I called back and wanted to talk with the manager I was told he would call back, but that never happened. Around July *,still not having the camera, I called and canceled the order. I have not received a credit to my card as of yet and I have sent 4 e-mails requesting it. I have gotten no reply to any e-mails I have sent to these people.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money back.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], the only reason that I accept the response is that I have received a credit on my credit card. It took 6 weeks for them to issue a credit. They did not answer 5 e-mails and trying to get them on the phone is a joke. Yes, I accept their response, but I would never do business with them again and would tell everyone else not to get involved with this company.
