Review: They charge you for item and never deliver, there phone will play you music but no one picks up.

On 8/**/13 I purchased a NIK55300GAF camera lense for the price of $219.99 paid for by Master Card from [redacted] in which I have never received. The web confirmation # [redacted] I have tried on several occasions to contact by phone with no success to talk to anyone.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund of 219.99 or the item that I purchased .

Review: Summary:

On **Aug13 I ordered a Pentax K-30 camera from AJRichies.com and paid $429.99 with my [redacted] card. No product was ever delivered, and after many phone conversations AJRichies agreed to refund my order in full. They said it could take up to 14 business days, and I told them if I did not receive confirmation of the refund within that time period I would file a claim with the Revdex.com. This is that claim.

Details:

**Aug13 Ordered Pentax K-30 body online for $429.99. Received emailed order confirmation stipulating 10-12 business days for delivery.

**Sep13 AJR called to “confirm” order and upsell me on camera battery upgrade. I declined, and after asked if other colors of camera were available. He said no, the black was the only one they had “in stock.”

**Sep13 After 12 business days of waiting, I called AJR to check on order status. The man said they had to order it from overseas and it would be scheduled for delivery on 9/**. When I said that was longer than the stated delivery time, he said he saw that someone had spoken to me by phone earlier, and surely he had explained the delay. I told him that he said the item was in stock and gave no indication there would be a delay.

**Sep13 When I called for another order status update, the man “transferred” me to another line, which never picked up. Three additional calls were all put on hold and not answered.

Called Sales department, and when told the Customer Service department wasn’t answering calls, he said he would get someone to help me. Placed me on hold and again waited for 10 minutes. The phone finally rang through to someone, who again put me on hold before saying a word. After 5 more minutes, I spoke with someone who said the order was “confirmed” on *Sep and “shipped” on *Sep and should be arriving soon. I asked why he could not confirm a delivery date, and he said it’s coming from overseas and they would need to put a trace on the order to find out that information. I requested that he do that, and he said I would hear back from them by Monday (**Sep) via email.

*Oct13 Customer Service answered on first ring and transferred me to Customer Support when I asked to have my order trace status. No one answered, so I left a voice mail asking for a call back or email with my order status. ®

*Oct13 Call was answered by Billing department, who put me on indefinite hold when I told him I wanted my money back. Called back several times to all departments, and all calls were immediately placed on hold and not answered. A couple hours later I called back and a Sales department rep answered. I immediately told him it was their last chance to help me before I went to the authorities. He asked what I needed and I told him a refund for an undelivered order. He put me on hold, which was picked up after a few minutes by someone else. I explained that the camera I had ordered over a month ago had not come, and their “trace” had apparently not been fruitful because I had heard nothing from them about it. He said the item had been “backordered” and he would request a full refund “from his manager” and cancel the order. I asked for an email confirming these things, and he said the refund takes from 10-14 days to process, and I would receive an email at that time. ®

*Oct13 Call was answered by Billing after about 25 minutes on hold. I asked about needing my new credit card number for the refund because the one I initially placed the order on had been reissued. He said there was no need for the new number because refunds will be accepted on closed card numbers if they have been reissued. (R)

**Oct13 Call immediately answered by Billing and placed on hold when I said I wanted a status of my refund. No answer after 30 minutes, so I called back and was placed on hold without anyone answering. After 15 more minutes, the phone rang through, and after about 50 rings, someone picked up and without speaking immediately hung up on me. ®

**Oct13 Call immediately answered by Billing. I asked to NOT be put on hold, and after identifying myself and the reason for my call I was put on hold for 15 minutes. I finally spoke with someone else who looked up my account, acknowledged that the order was cancelled on * Oct and said it had only been 11 business days and they had 14 before they had to refund. He also said the credit card companies allow up to 30 business days. I said they had kept my money for 7 weeks and that processing a refund takes a couple seconds, and he told me I would just have to wait, and hung up. ®

**Oct13 Sent email stating the 14 business days was past and that I would be opening a claim with the Revdex.com for recovery of my funds if I did not receive a confirmation email by end of day tomorrow that the refund had been processed.Desired Settlement: This business should not be allowed to operate. Any operating licenses should be revoked by the issuing agencies. Disgusting in every way.

Review: AJrichie promised a full refund within 12 working day. It has been more than 12 days but no refund.

On May **, 2014 I purchased a number of electronic items ( receipt attached) from AJRichie, an online electronic company for total sum of $ $2,533.83. The following day, May **, I received an email from them (copy of the email attached) informing me that I must call them at the number provided in the email or my order will be canceled. I called the number. I was asked if I am aware that the Canon D5 mark iii that I purchased is an" international mode" and has "plastic body". I was asked to upgrade to US model for much higher price $2,900. I did not receive this camera, instead, Instead I received a Canon D5 mark iii kit. The total value of this kit was S 3,724.97 The seal on the box was broken. The lens from the kit was missing. It included a charger that was not ordered, and a battery. It also included a cheap quality card reader but not the one I ordered. On My [redacted] when I spoke with the sales associate I emphasized the importance of timely delivery of this camera. I needed it for the weekend and wanted to make sure it is delivered via next day shipment. I was assured that I will receive it on Friday. Unfortunately, I did not receive the camera until Monday (June, [redacted]) afternoon.

When I received the camera, the box was not sealed, I am not sure if the camera has been previous used or not. It was never mentioned to me that I will be receiving a kit instead of camera only that I wanted and ordered in the first place. I also never received many of the items I purchased. Because of this reason I am entitled to all restocking charges. In order to get a full refund of $ 3,724.97, I was told to send a money order in the sum of $ 599.49 which I did in fear of losing my money which I still have received as of today, June [redacted], 2014. I want my stocking fee returned as well I did not get many of the original items ordered.

Upon the completion of my order, I then received a call from one of their customer service representative, he did not introduce his name but the company's name isntead. The representative had ask me if I would like to add on additional item, such as the battery for the camera, and the SD memory card as they offer a sales and will upgrade double the the size of the capacity for the item, if I were to add the order. I responded by only adding the Battery to come along with my original order, the representative then 'sighs' and said ok. He completed my order over the phone with the additional item and mentioned nothing else

When I received my order the invoice amount is a total of $619.99 as stated by the representative during the call. My orders came in a box with 'Some' of the stuff I've ordered. The package came with the following items:

- 1 Camera Panasonic FZ200 - US model (i orignially ordered the japanese model)

- 1 battery and charger for the Camera

- 1 LED Light accessories

- 1 Tripod 52"

Now what's missing from my order? It is the LIGSTPORPortable Lighting Studio for $79.95 as stated in the original confirmation order that was emailed to me. I then called them back to verify if it is being sent out to me. When I called, I waited 10min on the phone, then a rep answered and ask to put me on hold. I then waited on hold for an additional 10 min and finally got another rep (i believe there is only 1 person working for this company). This reps name is [redacted], possibly the owner for this company and the only rep. I asked about my order, why I didn't receive all the stuff I had purchased through their site as shown in my confirmation email? [redacted] added that he will send it out to me and I will receive it by Friday April **, 2014 and to call him if I did not receive it. Well, I didn't receive it until Saturday, it turns out, it's just another LED light attachment that he send to me. I then called back on Monday April **, 2014 and again, I waited 20 min this time just to get in contact with [redacted], I informed him that he send me the wrong item that I ordered. He then again, ask to put me on hold while he took a look at my order, and I waited 10min. He advised to me that my original order that was sent to my email had been scratched off and had been changed from a japanese version of the camera to the US version of the camera and my order was put all together as 'One package'. I was very surprised and shocked that this was not done with my authorization to have the order changed by them. I was getting a bit upset but still held my professionalism attitude. I ask him if I will receive my Portable Studio Lighting, he said he will credit me back the $79.95 and I will need to send the LED light back to them. I also asked, 'Why did you guys change my order without my authorization?' he replied, 'when we call you it has been confirmed during that time.' I got really upset, but still kept my cool. I then ask him, my wife called you guys to refund the Tripod because it was not as good of quality as we thought it would be, but you guys rejected her and said you will credit us back $25.00?' He replied 'that was the conversation.' Pretty shocked myself, how twisted this company's service is. [redacted] then stated to me, sir we credit you $25.00 and ask you to send back the LED light and we will refund you the total of $79.95 back to you, what more do you ask for? what more do you want? Is this not good enough for you?' I then told him I will return the LED light to get my full refund of $79.99, he then responded, thank you for you patience, and hung up the phone rudely without letting me know what will happen when I returned the LED light back to them. This is my first time ordering from this company and will be my last, never again will I be buying from this company.

Again, pretty shocked at his attitude towards me. He should know that his company has pretty poopy service towards their customers and they change orders around without permission.

I have decided to only return the LED light for my refund of the item that they never shipped to me, I have thought about refunding the whole package and everything back, but there is a 15% restocking fee which in this case I would lose alot more to them than I have already. This company is really bad and to avoid other customers from having the same experience as I have, I would like to share my experience with those who may look into buying products from this company.Desired Settlement: I would like to send back the stuff I ordered from them and get a full refund of the total charged on my account for all the items that I ordered with this company and not pay a restocking fee of 15% since this company is un-trustworthy and dishonesty. They changed my order without my approval, they refuse to refund me for some items I wished to return, they charge me for what I did not received, and they led me to losing too much time and money spend to deal with them for what does not need to be.

Review: I ordered 2 camera's & a lens from the above mentioned company. I received a bill via email with a price for these items totaling $2,298.04. When I received the camera's the price was changed to $3,297.80 for the adding 2 batteries & 2 memory cards. When I contacted AJ Richies to inform them I did not want these extra items for close to $700.00 more, I was only offered a discount & was not able to return the extra items.Desired Settlement: I would like to keep the camera's for the price emailed to me, 2,298.04 & return only the unwanted, overpriced items. I'm willing to pay the restocking fee for these items, but not the $600.00 they're asking to return everything.

Review: Non-delivery of order, poor communication and service. I learned too late that this company is a scam! On 8/**/13, I placed an order for a Canon T5i body-only; web confirm # [redacted], order #[redacted]. On 9/*/13, the company contacted me by phone and email, stating they needed to confirm my billing and physical address in order to complete the order. In this same call, they also tried to up-sell me on outrageously overpriced batteries, telling me it didn't come with one; I could get a 20-min battery for $90 or an extended battery for 140. I stated that I have a T2i and I believe that they use the same battery; I was lied to, with the guy telling me, no they are different. Nonetheless, I said no to the battery--just send the camera body. (Sure enough, I confirmed, again, that they are the same battery and an OEM batter can be bought from [redacted] for $43.00! Later on 9/*/13, I received emails stating I my credit card was billed and the item would ship shortly. I sent an email inquiry on 9/** regarding status and requested a tracking number, which was unanwered. I called 9/** to find out delivery info and was given a tracking # and told that delivery was scheduled for 9/** via US Mail, and that I would receive this same information via email (the email never came). After no delivery on 9/**/13 nor 9/**/13, I called customer service on 9/**/13 and was rudely told to call customer service at [redacted] on Monday between 11-5 EST, then I was hung up on. It was at this point that I started researching this company at Revdex.com and other websites and learned that their only practice is scamming people, as many, many other individuals told the same story and I did, down to the last detail!! At that point on 9/**/13, I sent them an email telling them to cancel my order and issue me an immediate and full refund; I also told them I would be pursuing immediate action through Revdex.com and my credit card company in order to quickly get my money back.Desired Settlement: I want an immediate refund to my credit card for the full $509.99 they charged to my Visa card. These people are crooks and should be shut down!

Review: Ordered and paid for product. Never received and when I called was told they were now out of busines.

Ordered and paid fora Nikon D7100 on September * received email to confirm order on Sept. **. I did so on Sept. **, was treated rudely over the phone because I was unwilling to "upgrade" my order. I was then told it would be shipped to me in six to eight weeks. I never received the order. When I called the number they told me they were no longer in business but where a [redacted] store now even though the phone system still says "AJ Richie". Now their website says they are out of business.Desired Settlement: I want either the $639 I paid and what was taken out of my debit account or the product - a Nikon D7100 delivered as promised and ordered and paid for in full on September *.

Review: I ordered a camera on April [redacted]. I received an email message that I must call them to verify my order. I called on April [redacted]. They said the camera did not include a battery or charger so did I want to add those items. I declined because I already noticed that on the add and had ordered from another location. They indicated I could pay additional shipping charges if I wanted to expedite the order, I declined. I received a web confirmation of my order, but no tracking information. I tried calling twice and after waiting over 30 minutes each time gave up. I sent 3 emails asking for shipping information, none were returned. I checked with my bank today, April [redacted] and found they had never put in the order. I want them to reimburse me for the $36.45 Paid for the battery and charger I ordered for the camera they never sent me. I ordered the camera from another dealer today and the battery and charger is included. Obviously when they were unable to unsell me for the additional items, they just deleted the order. I can understand, mistakes happen, but I have sense investigated other reviews of this company and see several similar complaints. I do not understand how a company with such deceptive business practices stays in business. If these complaints are founded the Attorney General for the state of NY needs to be informed.Desired Settlement: I want them to reimburse me for the battery and charger I will now no longer need. I can not return to the battery company because I opened it and charged the battery in anticipation of receiving my camera.

Review: They clearly advertised a Sony RX100 II for $519. I ordered the product and was sent an email that a verbal verification was necessary. All the rep said was that it was 'out of stock' - and he didn't sound believable. I returned to the web-site and the item is still on sale and shows as 'in stock' and will ship in '1 or 2 days'. I researched their site on the web and found that many others also receive a 'verification' email and when they call AJRichies tries to switch them to a different product.Desired Settlement: Supply the product at the advertised price.

Review: I purchased a canon markiii from this company on Sunday april [redacted] 2014. I was told by the sales representative the USA canon 5d makr iii camera is on sale for $2999. So I agreed to pay at that price plus a three year warranty for $189.98. I also purchased a 32 high speed SD card for $169. The sales person said he will upgrade the warranty to 5 years free of charge. (This is also advertised on the site too). Since I want to get the camera by Friday, the shipping cost was $69.99. Therefore my total should be $3427.97. However the company charged $3797.97. Overcharged me $370 without my consent. This is unacceptable! I tried to called them, but the customer service representative hung up on me. Unbelieveble! All I'm asking is for them to refund the $370 that they overcharged. If this is does not get resolved throughT Revdex.com, then I will file a dispute throught my credit union and as well as call my lawyer. I seriously suggest Revdex.com do something about this, I saw many consumers suffered from this company, yet they are still in business and still a member of Revdex.com. Review: I ordered a Nikon Coolpix P520 camera from this business. Two days later, they called back with an additional charge stating the 'charger is not included in the package' which is a misrepresentation. I have a copy of the webpage. They indicated I would have to pay an additional $90. This is somewhere between bait-and-switch and not honoring the price originally billed (I have a copy of the confirmation). I did not know I had recourse under US law until I spoke with my guardian. The salesman who contacted me said if I gave them a 5 star review that he would enclose a couple of items which turned out to be of no value. I have unlike others whose comments I have now seen, habr received the item in a timely manner following the fraudulent fee.Desired Settlement: My original receipt was for the total of $279.99. They eventually charged me $369.99 under false pretenses. I want a refund for the $90. I do have the supporting web pages saved and my receipts to justify this complaint.

Review: I ordered a cannon 70d camera from Ajrichies .com .they called me to sell me additional items. I agreed to 3 items. They sent me an unordered item , no itemized bill and charged me approximately $400.00 over the agreed purchase. They do not answer their customer service number, emails or voice mail.Desired Settlement: $1,769.99 refund. The total amount billed to me.

Review: I purchased a camera online DMC-ZS30 and then I was sent DMC-ZS25. I called on 06/**/13 and was told I would get a RMA number by email to return it and get the DMC-ZS30; however I never received the number. I called on 09/**/13 and talked to [redacted] and explained the above situation to which he said that it was past the date that I could return it and I could only exchange it. I asked him why I would not be able to return it if it was not my fault I didn’t get a RMA number and it is not my fault that we got the wrong camera sent to us in the first place. He said “We can’t help you then” and hung up on me. I called back and was on hold for another 30 minutes with no response.

I have since called them 5 other times without being able to talk to someone. I have also emailed them and have not received a response that way.Desired Settlement: I would like the DMC-ZS30 camera as an exchange. If they are not willing to exchange it, I would like a refund.

Review: On 9/**/13 I placed an online order of a Sony HDR-PJ790V Handycam and a Extended long life battery with ajrichies.com. On 9/**/13 I received a phone call from ajrichies to confirm my order and to inform me that the battery I order was for one hour but for $30.00 more I could purchase a four hour battery which I agreed to purchasing the four hour battery He quoted me a total of $1384.98. Shortly after agreeing to the order, I received an email stating my order has billed and sent to the warehouse. Your order will be shipped shortly. I paid for the 3 to 5 business days shipping. On 9/**/13 I phone to check on the status of my order. I spoke with [redacted] and he informed me I would need to call ext [redacted] to check on the status although the voice message states press 2 for order status. Since I have made several calls and received no response. On 9/**/13 I called again and the voice message stated the business will be closed on 9/**/13 at 3:00 pm through September ** due to the holiday. On Sunday, 9/**/13 I revisted the website and a message was on the site stating "Due to the holiday our offices will be closed wednesday September ** thorugh Saturday September [redacted]. Review: I am writing to complain about AJRichie.com, a NYC-based company. I believe they are conducting misleading or unlawful business practices, . I called to ask about a Nikon zoom lens late afternoon (PST) on 4/*/20*4, I was told by [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted], that there was a better one at a lower price. Before we could go further, he asked how I would be paying and took my Debit [redacted] #. He then added camera body and a lot of other up-sell. I was told there would be no receipt until the next morning because Customer Service was closed for the day. Overnight I did research on the company, and learned about many bad reviews, along with an F rating with the Revdex.com. Worse yet, I realized I didn't even get what I wanted (all Nikon), and had a bad gut feeling about this transaction. There was no invoice as promised in the morning of 4/**/2014. So I called to cancel the morning of 4/2**20*4 at approximately 8:30AM PST. I called and talked to someone who would not identify himself but I told him I wanted to cancel. Since this person did not identify himself and would not allow me to cancel, I left a message for [redacted], the [redacted] (from the day before) and [redacted] to call. [redacted] called me around **:38AM PST on 4/**/*4, and initially gave me a cancellation #([redacted]), but then retracted it, saying it would not be valid, because the package had already shipped. He asked me who I had talked to in the morning, and when I could not tell him he said that's why he couldn't cancel the order and that it had already shipped. No matter how many times/ways I asked, he would not let me cancel and kept bullying me into deal after deal ("I'll tell you what I'm going to do for you; you seem like a nice guy, so I'm going to lower the price by $400 and you'll have that in your checking account by 6:00PM EST on 4/**/20*4. [redacted] added it had already shipped Fed-Ex earlier that morning. I told him that he had said UPS the day before; he told me I was wrong. [redacted] would not let me talk (he talked over my questions) or cancel, and then told me if I wasn't going to let him do the talking he would hang up. I told him I had never worked with a company like this, and then he hung up. The money was not deposited into my account; but that's not what I wanted anyway. I just wanted to cancel the order for a full refund since I believed from all the various changes in shipping that had been told to me that it had not been shipped yet. Their website says only way for a full refund is to cancel before they have shipped. However, they could not supply proof they had done so at that point. On 4/**/14, after sending 3 emails to the email address from the invoice (which listed only a total amount, not value itemized, nor dated), I tried calling Customer Service to cancel, since their site says they won't accept a written cancellation anyway - you have to call. Spoke with [redacted], who later identified himself as President of AJRichie.com. He said I could not cancel because package was sent this morning UPS. He said I could not get an RMA # because package had not yet arrived. He continually interrupted me, saying if I called for answers he would not give them unless I stopped and just listened. He said I had asked the same question three times and the only way he would answer it is if I was mentally handicapped, which he said I did not appear to be. I said I could not believe I was being talked to like this - that he was being verbally abusive. He said the only way they will accept a return is if I send Money Order in the amount of $269.99 (*5% of the larger initial amount) along with returned, unopened package. I told him this was robbery, as I had been trying to cancel all along but they simply will not let me do so. He then started calling me by my first name (I go by my middle name and he knew that). He said he would not call me by my preferred name if I was not going to let him do the talking. He said "you came here for answers, so I will do the talking, you will do the listening." He then continued to call me by my first name. He told me he would hang up on me if I said another word. Then he told me I will get my product and enjoy it and thank him for refusing to cancel the order. I told him I just don't want it and no longer wish to do business with them, and that it must be some business for them to not have happy customers with delivered products and still getting customer's money. I have never experienced a transaction such as this where I am not allowed to cancel an order. They have my $*,399.98, even as [redacted] claimed they already had refunded my checking account $400 - which they have not. The invoice that finally arrived at 3:02PM PST on 4/**/20*4 does not reflect the equipment we had talked about. Research done on evening of 4/*/20*4, which, along with other problems, indicated they sometimes sell refurbished products as New. There is no date or any valued itemization on the invoice. I don't want the product nor do I want to do further business with AJRichie.com, and have been consistently trying to say that to them since the morning of 4/**/20*4. However, they will not take 'No' for an answer.Desired Settlement: A full credit refund to my debit [redacted] card/account in the amount of $1,799.98, without penalty (15% re-stocking fee or otherwise). Also a legitimate RMA # to return the product (if it arrives). I will pay for insured, certified shipping to return the unopened box.

Review: Talk about bait and switch!

On June **, 2014 I ordered a Canon 70D w/WiFi body for $729.00, a Canon EF 28-138mm IS USM lens for $249.00, a Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS lens for $129.99, a Canon Remote Switch RS60 E3 for $29.99, and Expedited Shipping for $39.99; for a total of $1,177.97. I received an email that evening confirming the prices and order total. AJRichies sent another email the following day stating "For your security we need to verify your order, please call us at...to provide verbal confirmation...If we do not hear from you this order will not be able to be processed." So I called on July **, 2014 not wanting my order cancelled. The "Customer Service Rep" started by questioning my choice of the Canon 28-135mm IS lens. He recommended the 18-135mm IS lens instead of the 28-135mm IS lens saying the 18-135mm had newer IS technology and was a faster lens, at a nominal price increase of course. I agreed to change since the 28-135mm is no longer listed as an active item on the Canon site. The Rep then asked if I knew I had ordered an "International" model and that it was more cheaply made, that it didn't have WiFi, it didn't have the battery and charger, plus it didn't have the US Warranty. The Rep then offered an U.S. Retail Kit at approximately $400 more than original price. I told him out right it sounded a whole lot like a bait and switch.

I pointed out to him the product description on the website did state all those features (except the battery and charger) were included on the camera I ordered (I pasted the description and specifications to a Word file in the event of a problem), that they should provide the product I ordered at the price I ordered it at. He told me he couldn’t do that, and the wrong product description must have been posted and they wouldn't honor the price on my order. He told me in order get what I thought I ordered I would have to get the US Retail Kit to get the WiFi and the US Warranty. The cost of the camera body jumped about $400, and my total order jumped from $1,171 to over $1,600 in order to get the body and the two lenses I wanted. He then tried to offer me a [redacted] I neither wanted nor needed as compensation. So to keep within my price range I set for myself I very reluctantly agreed to the change and had to drop the Canon 55-250mm IS lens. I really felt manipulated and coerced since I wanted the equipment for an upcoming vacation. He then said he could offer me shipping with tracking and promised I would have the products by the beginning of this week. I had already paid extra for expedited Shipping so that didn’t appear to be a change to me. That was on June **, 2014 along with a request for expedited processing; I only just received the package today, June **, 2014. The 3-5 day Shipping I paid for didn’t happen and I had to call them several times since I never received and updated order confirmation, which I requested.

So after taking the camera out of the package and going through all its settings, I find that I still have not received the product I ordered. The Canon 70D that was sent does not have WiFi capabilities. The product provided was part of a dismantled Canon EOS-70D 18mm-135mm Kit with a sticker over the Lens description. But the enclosed invoice/packing slip indicates it’s should be WiFi capable as was agreed to. So not only have I now paid more than original order, I don't even have the products I originally ordered or the “switched” up order, except the 18mm-135mm lens; and I don’t have a camera to use on my vacation since I’ll need to return it. Even the "Canon" Remote Switch RS60 E3 isn’t correct. The RS-60E3 is a wired remote switch. What AJRichie provided as a Remote Switch isn't even a Canon product. So now I will have the pleasure of trying to get the products I actually ordered from AJRichies’ Customer Service; and my vacation photography is going to be non-existent. It's time to file a complaint with the Revdex.com because I’m tired of being lied to and mislead by this company.

By the way the address they list on their website doesn’t match what the Revdex.com has listed. The website shows it as: [redacted] AJRichie is a Total bait and switch!Desired Settlement: What I really want is a Replacement and a Refund. I would like to have all the items I originally ordered at the price I ordered it as referenced on the attached order confirmation. I want the Canon EOS 70D w/WiFi as was described on the website at the time of order, I want the Canon 55mm-250mm IS lens. I am willing to keep the 18mm-135mm lens at the $20 more as stated by the first Customer Service Rep I spoke with. I want to be reimbursed the difference of my original order and what I paid, plus the Expedited Processing and Shipping since that service wasn't received. Paid $1,430 - Original order $1.177.97 = $252.03 + Shipping $39.99 = $292.02 - Lens Upgrade $20.00 = Desired Refund $272.02

At this time, I have not been contacted by AjRichies regarding complaint ID [redacted].

I contacted with them. They still refuse to honor the original order for all the items ordered or issue a refund of the difference between that lower total and the upsale price I was scammed into paying. They accused me of not being cooperative every time I brought the subject up, and threatened to hang up. I did finally get them to (reluctantly) agree to exchange, at their cost, the wrong camera body they sent. They issued a FedEx shipping tag and they received the Canon EOS 70D (N) body on ** JULY 2014. They, hopefully, have sent out the correct Canon EOS 70D (W) and provided a FedEx tracking number; it is scheduled to arrive here on ** JULY 2014. I will not know if I will receive the correct item until then. I would still really like for AjRichies to honor the original order at the original pricing. I have attached my copies of the original order confirmation, item description of the Canon EOS 70D, and the packing slip of what I received as a result of the upsale.

In my opinion this company has no interest in addressing their deceptive ad and upsale practices.

Review: Camera in the website is listed as new but the description of contents was missing items. I called to inquire and he confirmed they are not included.

AJRichies.com has a Nikon D7100 body only camera listed on their website for $769.99 new. The description lists items in the box and I noticed it was missing a battery and charger. I called to inquire about the missing items that are normally sold in the box. A rude sales man who did not tell me his name told me the reason the items are not listed is because they are not included. I asked if the item is listed as new. He said yes, I told him I was confused because Nikon sells the body only with the battery and charger. He said the camera Nikon sells is $1,300. I asked if the item is new and he said yes. He said I was arguing with him and hung up on me. I called back ( ###-###-####) and got the same person. I asked him one more question if he was an authorized reseller and he said no. Nikon sells all their cameras with a battery and charger. This retailer is opening the boxes taking items out of the boxes and claims they are new.Desired Settlement: This business is a scam and a fraud. People are going to ajrichies.com for a good deal on a new camera. The seller says its new, but clearly is opening the boxes and removing items. Warranties are not valid if a customer purchases a camera from this website. The website should list items as used because they are no longer new and sealed from the manufacture.
