Review: I ordered a camera on 11/**/2013, when ordered website said they will email me confirmation. Never did, and I called back on 12/*/2013, they said I will receive in business days, and BTW your 700.00 camera is not sold with a battery or charger, you'll have to pay an additional $100.00 for that. And they will be happy to hold my purchase till I buy the battery and charger. I informed them not to hold my camera and send it out. 2 days later on 12/**/2013, I called back asking why I still haven't received email confirmation, they transferred me to another person. (no one that answers their phone will tell your their name!!) Last person I spoke to got so rude and said read what's written on our website! it's 12 days, and we'll ship it out this Friday. It takes them 5 business days to process an order? then another 12 business days till I get it!!! WHAT A SCAM!! So rude, and take parts out of the box to sell at cheaper price. This is a Sony camera, if you purchase from Sony, it comes with the battery and charger!! On their website it clearly states that camera comes with battery and charger.Desired Settlement: On the website it says it comes with battery and charger. I want battery and charger website clearly posted as an included item.

Review: I placed an order online, it did not come, I was told I would receive a refund and did not.

On 9-**-13 I placed an online order with AJRichies.com for a Nikon COOLPIX L820 Camera (Black) SKU-NIKCPL820B for $162.99. I received an emailed order conformation but never a tracking number. I called several times before my call was answer and then told that the item was being shipped from overseas and that I would receive tracking information when it reached the USA. On 10-**-13 I called again, I was told it had been held up in customs but I would receive it on 10-**-13 and I would get a $30 refund for the trouble, still no tracking available. Today 11-*-13 I called having received nether my order or the $30 credit to my bank account, my call was answered and I was told that they had canceled the order and refunded to me $162.99. I have not receive that refund and was told to call my bank and have the payment stopped. When I asked for more information they disconnected the call.Desired Settlement: A full refund. I do not believe that I would ever receive the item if that were there offer.

We have tried contacting with the number you have provided us but we were unable to get intouch with you. In order to further verify your billing information we will need to speak with you over the phone. Please call our verification department to assist you with this. You can reach them at ###-###-####. Unfortunatly the order can not be processed until we hear from you. Sincerely, AJrichies.com I called them, I verified everything and was told my order would ship out soon and I would receive an email with details. It is now 07/**/2013 and I have not received a call or email or nothing. So I decided to call these people being that the original confirmation email said this: Orders can take 3-5 business days to be processed. The Free Ground delivery option can take anywhere from 10 to 14 business days to arrive at your location. If you wish to have your order expedited, please contact us at ###-###-#### during normal business hours. I was told that the item was back-ordered until July [redacted], and that I had no option but to wait. I was interrupted while talking, and the representative raised his voice at me with a very disrespectful tone and nasty attitude. I then asked to speak to somebody above him that can better assist me. He said: "you are speaking with the owner" I told him he had very poor customer service skills and he than said: "that is why I am the owner and you are not" I answered with a simple "wow" then he says; "your order is canceled go to [redacted] or [redacted]" He than hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like the item at a 50% discount. Or have this person terminated, if he is the owner he should have his website shutdown or somehow flagged.

It seems to me that nobody is "sorry" for what happened, I find it hard to believe that there is no trace of who I spoke with. This changes nothing, I am not going to settle with a written apology from anyone. This is unacceptable and incredibly outrageuos. There is not even any sort of grammar, spelling or punctuation in your messages. I will be posting a very negative review of your website on many sites. MANY SITES, I will make sure this is known!

Review: Ordered a Canon EOS-60D Camera. Payed for the extra shipping and it was due to arrive on 10/*/13. Got a phone call from the delivery service that the shipper had requested the package to be returned to them...I received NO phone call from the company that there was any kind of problem...Had to call AJ Richies and talk to several different people...Finally got thru to someone who then in turn had to ask someone else what happened...There was an error in the shipping department and the wrong product was sent out....What I don't understand is why did it take them 3 days to discover the error and why was I not notified...Called again to see how they were going to resolve the issue and all they wanted to do was refund the money in 7-10 day...UNACCEPTABLE!!!! This company has no clue on Customer Service and needs to be shut down...That is no way to run a business...The guy I spoke to on the the phone was a complete [redacted] and was not apologetic at all...I have worked in Customer Service for over 12 years and that guy would have been FIRED!!! You do not speak to customers the way he spoke to me....I will make sure I tell everyone I know to NOT EVER buy anything from this company..

Review: Purchased a camcorder May **, 2013. Product was not sent and they will not return my money. Ordered camcorder May **, 2013 via internet. Payment of $688.99 was made per VISA to AJRichies on May **, 2013. Product was not sent and was told that they no longer carried that model. They want to substitute a less cheaper model. I wrote June **, 2013 to cancel the order and to refund my $688.99. No reply. I called and spoke to sale manager and he tells me that it was processed and that the money will be reinstated into my bank account within the next 2 or 3 days. Nothing.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $688.99.

Review: I purchased a Nikon D800 in January 2013 with a 3 Year Accidental Digital Camera and SLR Warranty [Class 30] . Just recently the shutter froze up on it! Review: I contacted Customer Support as requested and was told they didn't have a detailed invoice as I've been requesting all day. Customer Support then transferred me to the Rep who took my order yesterday, however the Rep denied he was the one who took my order. When I questioned the discrepancy of $41 on the billed amount, the Rep gave two totally different answers for this discrepancy. First he claimed it was the International Version that I was given a price for and therefore there was a required upgrade to get the US version. When I stated that the version I bought yesterday was for the US version, he changed his story. Next he claimed the $41 was for shipping insurance, which the Rep yesterday failed to mention. Without answering my complaints, the Rep finally hung-up on our phone call and no response to my email follow-up.

Every time I call or write, I'm given the runaround and various stories that don't match and I still don't have a price breakdown of my purchase. I now believe that AJRichie is an internet bait and switch scam.Desired Settlement: I would like to obtain the price as specified by the rep. I was quoted $219 for a camera and $59 for an extended battery/charger for a total of $278. However, I was charged $319 for these two items, therefore, I'm seeking a refund of $41, which is the discrepancy in the rep's stated pricing.

Review: On 05/**/2014 I placed an online order for a cannon 18-200 camera lens for $349.- I received on the same day and email confirming the order (web confirmation [redacted]) and an email requesting from me a verbal confirmation of the order which a did on the following day 05/**/2014.

Today, 06/**/2014 I received a new email asking me to call to verify the order and provide a verbal confirmation so that they can ship out the lens. Wen I called today (06/**/2014) to verify the order for shipment a very rude person told me that the item I ordered was an import and they don't have them available but that I can buy a US made item for $100.- dollars more. Wen I refused and requested that they ship the lens that I order the person hang-up the phone. End of the conversation.Desired Settlement: An email from the company with an approximated shipment date.

Review: I ordered a camera from AJ Richies on 8/*. When the camera did not arrive within the timeline given by the company, I called for an update. They told me they would Fed Ex to to me the next day. When it did not arrive again, I called and they said that it was still coming from Europe and I would have it by Friday at the latest. When it did not come on Friday, they offered a refund. I accepted the refund and they told me it would take 10-14 days for the refund to post. When the time period expired, I called them again, and they told me the money would be in my account by 9/**. Again, it did not happen. I called today to follow-up and I can't reach anyone. Review: I ordered a Camera and Lens on 5/**/14 online. I was called on 5/**/14 and was told that I should order a different camera model and lens that was in stock and would be promptly shipped. I agreed even though it was $300.00 additional. It is now 6/*/14 and I have still not received the camera. The customer service department refuses to provide me with any information regarding the shipment. I canceled the order on the phone and sent an email and they refused to give me a confirmation number. The customer service representative said it takes 7-10 business days to receive a confirmation of the cancellation. Yet it took only a couple of minutes to receive a confirmation of the original order. I called my credit card company to cancel the credit card charge. Review: Order Number; [redacted] (Web Order)On [redacted] Sept 2013, I ordered a Nikon Camera D3200 w/ 18-55 lens and a 55-200mm lens for a total cost of $559.98. I ordered on line at AjRichies.com as a Guest because at the time it was noted their system for NEW accounts was down for repair. On the [redacted] of Sept (Sunday) I was called by one of their SALES reps, letting me know the items I ordered were being shipped the next day, and was there anything else I would like to order. I said no and he said thanks for letting us help you. On the [redacted] of Oct my wife told me $598.99 dollars had been taken out of our account by AjRichies.com, which was an OVERDRAW of $38.01 dollars. When I called to find out why, I was put on HOLD for over a half Hour each time. Since the first time I have called every day with the same results. I've also called their Customer Service and Billing offices getting through twice in the past 7 attempts. On * Oct, I talked with a person named [redacted], who informed me my items were being held up by the warehouse and would arrive on the [redacted] of OCT, he also stated I would receive an e-mail with Tracking Info, which I NEVER received. Again on the [redacted] of Oct I called talking with [redacted], who said I would receive the order on the [redacted] and than put me on hold before I could even speak for over 45 min's; unacceptable! I have called my banking and they are investigating this issue as I write this. I have a List of Names, Dates and times if needed and I will also follow this through with an e-mail to the NEW YORK Attorney Generals Office. I feel this is MAJOR Scam these people are running and must be stopped or at least published for others to be aware of.Desired Settlement: I would like a FULL REFUND of the monies that were withdrawn from my account on the [redacted] of SEPT. $598.99 Dollars. and if possible, a banning of the website AjRichies.com from the Internet.

Review: Ordered $999.94 worth of video products online Sep [redacted], 2013. Call came asking if I wanted an upgrade on Sept ** and I upgraded for a total of $1199.99. On Sept ** received email stating my order had been sent to shipping to go out. My credit card was charged the same day. The website and their email said it should take 10-14 business days to arrive. I have not received any tracking info. The order should have arrived by Oct [redacted]. Today is October [redacted] with no package. I have tried to call multiple times and only get put on automatic hold. One time someone picked up and THEN put me on hold without speaking.

If I do not get a refund very soon I will also file a complaint with the NY state attorneys office.

Review: I purchased a nikon D5100 camera body on 5/**/2013. The camera was returned on 6/**/2013 (RMA [redacted]) due to compatibility issues and an incomplete package. US Postal service verifies delivery of camera on 6/**/2013. On 6/**/2013 customer service called and offered an exchange. I declined the exchange and was told a refund of $599.99 would be refunded immediately. As of 8/**/2013 the refund has not been made. I have contacted customer service and have been told the refund would be processed in 2-3 days. This statement has been made every week starting on 7/**/2013. I have documented every call with customer service. I have copies of the USPS tracking receipt, invoice, and RMA. I have asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I was speaking to a manager. I have asked to speak to billing to stay on the phone while the credit was processed and was told that could not be done. AJ Richies has declined to credit my refund in accordance with there return policy.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund for the returned camera. The credit can be placed back on the credit card that was used to purchase the camera.

I spoke with Customer service on 8/**/2013 at 12:20. I spoke with [redacted] who stated he was a manager. He stated the refund would be processed immediately, allow 2-3 days to show on the credit card. As of 8/**/2013 at 8:02 pm a credit has not been posted to my account. I have received the same statement" allow 2 - 3 days for the credit to post" since 6/**/2013. I have received this statement on 7/**, 7/**, 7/**, 7/**, 8/**, 8/**, 8/**, and 8/**/2013 (all from Customer Service). The credit has not been processed. They refuse to transfer me to billing to stay on the phone for 2 minutes to allow the refund to be processed while I wait. I am past the 2 - 3 business days without any refund.

the reason the consumer has not received his refund is because our merchant account was locked so we couldn't give any refunds we were going to send out a check for the consumer but we just got our merchant account unlocked over labor day weekend so we will be refunding the consumer to his charge card today and he should see it post by weeks end

Review: I have several complaints in regards to this business. * They advertise the sale of a Canon cameras, but then strip out the manufactures box replacing the original products with cheap generic knockoff brands or do not give you everything the manufacture provides. *One page of their website states there's a 1 yr manufacture warranty and another page states there's only a 90 day warranty on labor. It's a brand new camera, so why is this business upselling the full 1 year warranty for an additional $250 when Canon offers a standard one year warranty on their products. This is false advertisement and illegal. * I received calls and an email from the business' employee saying that my order could not be processed until I contacted them. This seemed odd and suspicious, so I checked online for complaints and with the Revdex.com. I found over 300 complaints on this company being reported as a scam, taking people's money, not giving them refunds or the product, etc. Immediately I called the businesses 1 888 number and spoke with [redacted], AjRichies customer service employee who told me my order was processed and the product shipped that day. An hour later I received another call from an employee ([redacted]) trying to up-sell and pressure me into purchasing additional products. When I explained to him that I was just told my product had been shipped, he said no it hasn't and would not be shipped out for another week. He also said that I did not talk to one of their customer service reps and must have contacted the wrong company. When I provided him with the customer service reps name, he said no one by that name worked there and got all nasty and rude with me. I asked him about the complaints made online against the company and he lied and denied that they existed. He also couldn't give me a valid reason for why my order was not being shipped. He kept cutting me off as I was talking and was about to hang up on me mid sentence. I confronted him on this and he denied it, but immediately got off the phone. I then called the 1 888 number again. [redacted], who I just had talked to, lied to me as soon as I asked him his name. This time he said ([redacted]). I told him I recognized his voice and was just on the phone with him. He denied it and said I never talked to him. I asked him again about the status of my order and he said it was processed. I asked him if it was shipped, he said no he would not be shipping it until next week. I asked him why - he gave me no answer. I asked him was processed meant - he gave me no answer. Every aspect of my experience with this company was shady and exactly as described by the hundreds of other complaints people made about this company. Some of the complaints said they never received their product because the company did not want to honor the sale price the product sold for. It appears this was the route the business was taking with me. I didn't purchase all of their overpriced accessories, so they were not going to ship my product out when their website said the product was in stock and ships usually in 1-2 business days. Again false advertising. * The website also stated that I would receive several free products as gifts for my purchase, but then after ordering I received a message that I would not receive them unless I submitted a review for the business online. I did not feel comfortable completing the review without having received my product or finishing the transaction, yet submitted one in order to receive the gifts. This was another example of false advertising on their website. They are bribing their customers with products in order to get good reviews. This is an unethical business practice. * The employee ([redacted] or [redacted], whatever the guy's real name is) told me my phone number showed up on his screen. So naturally when I tried to call back to cancel my order, he would not answer the call. I could not get through to the company. I had to call my credit card company to see if my credit card had been charged without shipping the product. After all of the hassle and problems with this company, I had to close out my credit card in order to not be taken by this company as the hundreds of other people have warned. [redacted] reports $83,843.96 in damage losses by customers from AjRichies!Desired Settlement: I want my order canceled. I also want this company shut down. They should not be allowed to continue selling manufacture's products that they are advertising but then stripping them out and replacing with generic products. They should not be able to continue their unethical and shady business practices, especially with all of the complaints and money they've stolen from customer's through their "restocking fees" and refusal of giving customers refunds.

wow this consumer basically is bashing our company do to negitive feedback given online thru a website that an individual made up scam book they only write negitive information on that website as well this consumer made there order on 7-**-2013 the reason her order didn't ship it does take 3-5 business days for processing which it does state online as well we do offer both usa retail and import wholesale models that is why one is price different than the other we do offer both units on our website so not sure why this would be a scam as to major wholesale companies such as[redacted] all sell both usa and import products that is how everybody stays competitive with retailers this consumers order was not billed and we will be glad to cancel her order we dont want a consumer thats just going to bash our company so no further action is required by this consumer

Review: I ordered a camera and they required me to call them so that they can bait and switch and charged me more. It has been a month now and I have not received the camera that I ordered. I have tried for 4 days now to contact them and no one has answered the phone. I emailed them and no response. It is oblivious that this company is a scam. I say this because of al the negative reviews that I see online.....Desired Settlement: I want a total refund for the camera that I have not received.

Review: Ordered camera lenses that cost $749.99. Was ordered to transfer money to their bank account (an extra $10). It took more than 2 months to receive the item. But received the wrong item that cost less than the price charged. Called them several times to resolve the issue, finally one said that will send return shipping and give refund upon checking the item. Never got the shipping label. Tried to call several times. Every time they gave excuses, hang up on me while I was talking and ignored my phone calls bu not picking up and one time answered but did not said anything for about 10 minutes. I know that they are doing this on purpose to not resolve my problem and just to keep my money.Desired Settlement: Give me a refund for the full price first and then send me a return shipping label. I do not trust them to return the wrong product first and then get the refund because after receiving them they may not give me the refund and do the same thing as they are doing now, by not responding or resolving my problem.

Review: I placed an order for the Canon XA10 HD on the AJRichie website. I recieved an email to call the company to confirm the order. When I called the person I spoke with told me the camcorder I was looking at was the imported model and did not include the XLR inputs and then tried to up-sell me. However, the description clearly states that the XLR inputs are part of the camcorder. Furthermore, there is no mention of this camera being an imported model. The website shows a picture of the camcorder with the XLR inputs. Also, it states the kit includes microphone holder/handle unit [Microphone Sold Separately, which is where the XLR inputs are located. The gentleman on the phone was insistent that this was not the case even though AJRichie was advertising it as so. This was clearly a bait and switch tactic. I have saved the webpages in case they change the descriptions.Desired Settlement: I would like the camera they are advertising at the advertised price of $1299. If need be I will contact the Federal Trade Commission so they can look into possible patterns of law violations that could facilitate law enforcement action.

Review: I ordered from AJRichie and expected my shipment to arrive 5-10 days from my order. Its been over 18 days to this date since I ordered. When I try to cancel two days after ordering from them due to the reviews of how they are a scam, all they tried to do was sell more to me then hang up. This company needs to be eliminated and their practices are highly unethical. I needed this present 2 days ago for my wife's birthday. I just want my money back and cannot get in contact with them. No one answers when I call them, nor do they respond to my emails.Desired Settlement: all I want is my refund so I can purchase the camera without this scam and up sales.

Review: I boug.ht a camera online, was sold has a new camera, but I found out when I send it to Nikon that it was a used Camera and not covered by warranty

I bought a Nikon 1 V1 camera on [redacted] April 2013 as a new camera SKu1V11030. Amount of the payment was 390.14 USD paid by Visa Credit card.

I had to send this camera for repair to Nikon because the camera stopped working after 10 months. I found out through Nikon that the camera was a used one and didn't have the 12 months warranty but only 90 days. So Nikon is now asking more than 400 USD to repair the camera. I tried to contact Ajrichies to complain. I found out that this company had changed names and addresses multiple times. They are still selling the same item, making customer believe that it is a new one. See link: [redacted] found out multiple people complaining about this company online. Even a [redacted] page warning people about AjRichies and now called Ajrichie (see below) [redacted] I hope you will make everything possible to go after these people that are thinking that changing and operating under new names can solve everything.

Be aware that this company is now operating under a new name Ajrichie instead of Ajrichies, and still use the same practice... Something has to be done to stop them from abusing their customers....You can find a lot of complains on the internet. they are using misleading logo from for example shopping.com with high ranking. They are not even reference on the shopping.com website as a retailer. (see attachment).... Regarding my case what should I expect next?
