I have been a loyal American Disposal customer for the past 1/yearsI moved months ago and just paid my first received invoice since moving and few days later I received a much larger invoice with a large past due balanceI was confused and contacted them right awayThe Customer service rep I spoke with was very nice and helpfulUnfortunately, I can not say the same thing about her supervisorTo start, they said they never received any payment from meI sent the bill I received and my bank statement that showed I paid American Disposal on a certain date the same amount that was on the statementHer supervisor said that my bank statement was not proof of payment (really?)Then I was told that this was the old account from which I moved from months prior and they now see my paymentI am not sure why I was billed for this months after I transferred my service, but I was and it was the only bill I have received since moving with the exception of my large bill with a past due balanceBoth myself and the customer service rep understood the confusionI asked if my account could be noted that I will pay the FULL balance in a week and a half as I am on a tight budget and am paid every weeksRemember...I thought I had paid the bill a week agoAfter 1/years of being a loyal customer and paying my bill and even though there was obvious confusion with this entire situation (on my end and theirs) the supervisor would not note my account and my service will be canceled within a weekMy past job position was a customer service supervisor and I currently work as the director of operationsI would never myself or allow my staff to do anything less than go above and beyond for our customersWe know, without our customers there is no companyI am appalled and so disappointed with the treatment from my sanitation company that I have used for this many yearsAshleigh M [redacted] , GA

Terrible track record as far as I am concerned Missed pick-ups, excuses, rate hikes and I have been lied to Was a customer for a long time but no more Hello R [redacted] S [redacted] s - hope they are better, sure they can't be worse

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:No one ever mentioned to my husband that any payment has been returned by the bank This notice is the first either of us have heard of this He was told Lisa was busy and couldn't speak with him I researched my payment & it was in fact returned for some reason (not given) by the bank This would have been good information to relay to me before simply picking up my torn trash can I will resubmit the payment as described Customer service skills, basic communication skills, and common courtesy seem to be severely lacking here Perhaps Lisa is simply too busy to do her job Wouldn't it have been a simple solution to notify your paying customer on the next bill, or perhaps when actually reading & answering the emails I sent attempting to resolve this matter?
