Bought $4200 worth of furniture from them. Got it delivered one of the couches were ripped. Called Robert the manager said he would have a replacement delievered. A week goes by, I called again and he said he doesn’t know when he will have the right piece in and wouldn’t give us a refund. We had to change our color of the couches to chocolate and got those delivered. Those were ripped. Had to wait another week for that replacement. Our dresser delievered was the completely wrong dresser and style and color, called and spoke to the manager “Jack” who apparently doesnt work there, and they laughed about it and they think its funny. Only offered a small store credit. No refund.

American Freight has verified that the customer was taken care of this morning and has received all missing pieces and any damaged pieces have been swapped out. They also offered a $200 refund for the inconvenience in which the customer advised they would stop out later in the week to be processed.

I purchased a couch through American Freight store *** in ***, OH on 8/25/2018. I used America First Financing. When I was purchasing the couch, the salesperson, listed as Kyle on my receipt, told me that I would have ONE monthly payment of $96 until the couch is paid off. I asked about the interest rates on the item if not paid off within the 90 days and was given no answer. I was not emailed any contract or information about my purchase from the furniture store. It has come to my attention that I have been getting charged $74.55 each paycheck instead of what was told to me. Attempts to contact the store to resolve this issue via email ( my cell phone is broken) have gone ignored. I am extremely upset that what I was told was not what they put into their system and that they did it without my knowledge. No information was even read to me at the store. This has severely hurt me financially. When a salesperson gives me a verbal conformation of my monthly payments and gives me absolutely no paperwork to even fall back on as proof, I expect that to be what is taken out of my account. Not double the agreed payment.

During the customers purchasing process, the customer electronically signs their contact with American First Finance. Enclosed during this process is the customers payment plan that clearly shows the terms of the contact. American Freight will accept the return of all product and initiate a refund through American First Finance, or the customer can return the items and select different items that will get them into the payment terms they require.

Horrible!!! My sectional I purchased from them for over $1000 didnt last two years! The springs calapsed and so did the cushions. Stay away from them. Their furniture is very poorly made.

I ordered furniture 8/17/18. I was told 1 I would not pay for furniture until it was picked up. They would have it available 9/7/12018. My furniture was not available and I never picked it up. They charged my card 9/18/2018. I did speak to someone who refunded that payment back. But did not refund my inital payment of 54.00 back to me as of yet. She assured me that I could cancel the order and would no longer be charged. I have copies of the screenshots from that online message exchange. They added the full amount to my credit report and have been calling my phone leaving vm and text messages for furniture I never got. After they told me everything was cancelled. I talked to someone in october and I threaten going to Revdex.com and they said they git a supervisor involved who would see the account closed. Im still getting calls telling me I have to pay for sonething I never got. Id like them to stop calling and remove the open account from my credit report immediately. If I can get my refund of 54.00 that I paid when I first went in there that would be great too.

I went into the Dallas location and purchased a queen bed on Oct. 20 from a gentleman named (Cedric). After paying in full that day I was told “it was not in stock and it would take 2 weeks to come in”. Not once has the Dallas location reached out to me l’ve had to continually call them. The first person I talked to told me it would be in Monday of last week or this Monday(which has passed). Then I talked to another guy last week, on the phone trying to see if my queen bed would be here this Monday he said they could deliver it on Thursday which is Thanksgiving and I told him that wouldn’t work for me. He said “I’ll call you back and see what we could do”, but never did. So I called back and I talked to another person who then told me that the bed hadn’t even come in....I’ve talked to three different people including someone at the Grand Prairie location who was also unhelpful (Teresa). Yesterday when talking to Teresa I was told that they would upgrade my bed to one that was in stock and it would be delivered the same day and here it is a day later and I still don’t have a bed.

I bought a dining room table, 4 chairs, three end tables, two full size couches and a rocker reclining. I also purchased a five year warranty. Three of the kitchen chairs have had to be repaired. Plus, one of the couches frame has broken and cannot be reclined. Called the store several times just to be redirected to insurance claims at Guardian. After pictures and written statement I was told ... Sorry we only cover cosmetic issues.
Called store back again just to be told... Sorry over a year. I spent a lot of money there just to have things fall apart, have the extra insurance I was charged and paid for turn me away and the store to tell me... Sorry can't help you

I purchased a bedroom suite with 2 night stands, when I purchased it the sales clerk told me that they only had one in so he had to order the second one and when it came in, I just had to come and pick it up. I gave them 2 weeks, I called to see was it in, the first person that I talked to looked it up and told me that it hadn’t came in. He told me that it should be in later that week when the truck came. I called that Saturday and they told me a different story, that it was delivered to me. I told them that they didn’t have it in stock when I purchased it and I haven’t been able to resolve this issue. The salesman knew that he didn’t have it but he said that they had to follow procedures. I want what I paid for or I want my money back.

I filed a claim on furniture purchased from this location. The employees at the store were unprofessional, especially the lady working. There was a gentleman that wasn’t usually at this location that remained courteous throughout the entire experience. They made it impossible to get another couch except the one I originally purchased, which broke within 5 months. I was told I had a $999 credit. I was also told I had a credit of $200 for a warranty I paid for (I didn’t even realize I had). When I wanted to purchase a more expensive couch and pay the difference they told me I could but I HAD to also pay for another $200 warranty! I told them I didn’t want it, I wasn’t paying an additional $300 all together. They also had an ottoman in the set and the store made signs that said “included” in the 3 piece sectional. When I asked about it they said it was an additional cost? I said then why does it say “included”? She quickly removed the sign. I asked for my money and the said no. I could use the credi for something else? I spent over $3000 dollars there, I just need a couch, specifically one that won’t fall apart so quickly. I asked for the number for corporate and was given the “Regional managers” number. Unfortunately I heard them make several calls to her and she seemed to not care to help as much as the employees in the store. I just want another couch, not pay for a warranty, I didn’t know I had. If this isn’t possible then I’d like a full refund. I don’t want another couch like I had because of the quality. They need someone to show them how to run a business, be professional and also honest.

With any warranty approval, the customer is provided with a credit for the product in which the warranty was approved for. This customer had purchased a sectional for $998, in which the customer will receive full credit of $998 to use towards replacement furniture. The warranty purchased on the original order will transfer over to the new product, covering the new product for the duration of the warranty period and at no additional charge. The funds used to purchase the warranty are not able to be used towards the replacement furniture.

I purchased furniture on April 21, 2018 for a credit of $1000.00. I picked the furniture out and it all came to $1048.00. I paid 48.00 + tax, which equaled to 53.50. After the transaction, I was given a copy of the so-called contract which stated all I owe was $1000.00 . Now 6 payments later of 1,132.32 paid, I am still paying off one thousand dollars off for furniture. ,I called and sent two emails one month ago and never got a call back or email. I finally talked to one of the Reps in Oct. 31, 2018 (today) and she stated; "that she sorry for the misunderstanding and told me she would send me a copy of the contract they have, but I don't: then proceeded to tell me my pay off date was back in May, 2018" I was never told about any pay off date. I was never told that after that date the payments are stretched another $1000. 00 and according to the Rep: I still owe 1600.00 which is not right,I have pleaded and tried to tell them that if I had know the payments were going to doubled, I would have never bought the cheap furniture in the first place. Two weeks after the purchase, The sectional is used, it had crumbs in the folds. The dresser drawers don't close very well, you have to slam them shut. never got the rails or night stand that was supposed to be replaced, because the set I wanted wasn't in stock. I not happy with no avail. I am stopping all payments til this matter is settled. I pay 188.72 per month..Whats bad is now I see their site has info about a pay off date..I think its too late for me.

The issues the customer is talking about in regards to their finance account are all through American First Finance. Those concerns will need to be addressed directly with that company as American Freight is a separate entity.

On Saturday October 27, 2018 we visited American Freight to make a furniture purchase I schedule delivery for the next day Sunday. I paid for all of my furniture in full and was told that delivery would cost $89.00 in cash to given to the delivery guys. On Sunday I paid the delivery guys and they tried getting my furniture into the house and it turns out that the furniture did not fit I was then told I would have go back to American Freight and select furniture that would fit the delivery guys measured the entrance and assured me that the next furniture I select would fit into the home. The following day Monday I went to American Freight and was showed the furniture I was able to select from so I selected from the selection that I was shown and told that would fit through the entrance. On Tuesday the delivery guys arrived and I was charged a second fee for the delivery of $79.00 in cash however the furniture did not fit through the entrance I told the delivery guys the furniture was selected from the measurement they took in which they said their measurements were off and I was advised to select different furniture I then went to American Freight and requested a refund I was only refunded the cost of the furniture, I ask for a refund for the delivery charges and was told no I informed them that their measurements were off I was told that cannot refund delivery chargers but I told them I did not receive any items.

Even though delivery is a subcontracted company, American Freight will refund the customer the $168.00. The customer can stop into the store for the refund to be processed.

I went in and paid cash for two queen and one kind bedroom suits, kitchen table and chairs, and a living room set. Not only did “someone” disclose my personal purchase information, leaving my children and I in danger, but I was not notified prior to paying that the couch, kitchen table and chairs were on back order until AFTER I paid. Then one of the dressers delivered was damaged, and here it is almost TWO months later and I still don’t have my couch or kitchen table and chairs and they still haven’t replaced my dresser. I have received three phone calls of information saying they would deliever on such date and the never called or showed up.

Will never shop here again. Online Advertisements are not available in store. I pulled up their website and showed the guys in Helena, AL and he said that price was for one item although the picture and wordings on website said a package. Then when I asked about the 3 piece recliner living room SET, which I was also online, they said it’s for the sectional and a recliner! Then when I questioned the validity of their website, guy then said, “Oh, this hadn’t come in yet neither the bedroom package. It’ll be here within a week”. REALLY? I guess that was his way of dismissing what I asked regarding false advertising online. I guess they figured if you come in anyway, you’re going to buy something even though it’s not what you came in for. I left disappointed and happy that I didn’t purchase anything after reading these reviews. If you want furniture, go to a reputable place that stands by their name and what their advertisement says. I gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me skip it or leave a half star.

I spent a bit over $600 to american freight in July of 2018. I purchased a bunk bed and a new mattress. During the time of purchase I remembered the woman who was checking me out at the front telling her co workers that the bunk bed I was buying had “a millon pieces”. American freight sends another company that they work through that handles all deliveries and set up of their furniture. I was told during time of purchase the set up fee through the company they work through would be a separate fee of $75 and that they only set up furniture if they “have the time” and they will call me 30 minutes ahead to let me know they are on the way. What actually ended up happening was the delivery guy didn’t call me until he had already arrived at my apartment. When he called I told him I was not home but I can be there in about 10 minutes. He called back after the 10 minutes again rushing me. During the time of delivery I paid the delivery guy $80 instead because I didn’t have any change to pay exactly $75. Then the guy said that he didn’t have time to set my bunk bed up and that he would have to come on a different day to my house to set up my furniture and he would have my change then. He told me that he was late to his other customers and was in a hurry. So I said “ok understood” So we scheduled for the next morning but he never showed. I called the delivery guy back and asked what happened to him coming he told me he “slept in too late” and apologized. He told me he would come by in the evening and never showed. That continued for days. I had been calling this guy and politely texting him asking when would he be by to help me with set up. I was constantly apologized to and given the run around each time I reached out. I was told he was going to call but didn’t remember my phone number or he would say he tried calling me yet I had no missed calls from him. He also kept telling me had a “busy day”and he would be by on a certain day and a certain time but would never show. Mind you all these times, I would sit at home expecting this man to show up. I was always nice and understanding and didn’t give him a hard time as I know they have other customers but the way I was handled as a paying customer was bs. At the end of all the bs I never got my bunk bed set up for my kids nor my damn change back. I did in fact end up driving back to american freight to complain. I asked to speak with a manager about my bunk bed set up so they called for the guy responsible for delivery and set up to come to the front to speak with me. The guy that came to the front was the same guy that kept giving me his word that he would come and set up my bed. Of course he once again told me he would be to my home later that day to set up and that he has been busy. He even had nerve to let me know that he just recently delivered furniture to my neighbor but didn’t stop by my apartment because he assumed I already got the bunk bed up. That evening the man STILL never showed. I am a single mom of 3 and I know nothing about setting up a bed nor did I have anyone reliable to help me with the set up. Therefore I really counted on that delivery guy to come through. American freight does have a nice collection of merchandise but if you buy anything from them do not buy anything that has to be set up that has “a million pieces” as they will duck you to getting the furniture you paid for set up. I’ll spend my money to a company that appreciates my business, respects my time and hard earned money. I didn’t intend on leaving a bad review at the end of all this but at this point I have exhausted all of my options. I intended to go back to purchase a living room suite but since I had this bad experience I’ll will not spend any more of my money to american freight.

I purchased a bed frame and bed from American freight . When I purchased the bed and frame the sales person said I had a life time warranty and if I ever needed to replace my bed I can always have it replaced. We were son on a king size bad and a frame . With in the first year the frame broke and I called multiple times to get a new frame never received a call back and I ended up staying with out a bed frame . Now I’ve been having issues with my mattress sinking in and I called last year and spoke with mike about taking a ticket claim on my mattress . He informed me to send in pictures measuring the dips in my mattress and he will forward the claim to the mattress company . I sent in pictures and waited approximately 3 weeks for a call. Finally called and spoke with another associate and he informed me my claim wasn’t sent in to call back . I called again and spoke with mike who put me on hold, I was left on hold for over 9 minutes and I called back and was told by another employee that he was on the floor with a customer. After this I called again and finally spoke with him . He informed me that I would have to resend pictures as he directed and I did . Fast forward now I am currently moving from the state and I called to let him know I needed a new mattress immediately so he informed me that he will work on it immediately because my information was not in his new system which was clearly the first few times I spoke with him , he said he will call once I get okayed for the new mattress and that he would work on it . I called again and was referred to Carlos who never called back even though ebony the person who answered took my number and name down multiple times to give to them. I am currently 8 days out from my moving date and did not receive a call back or any customer service from this company . I went as far as calling the customer service number of the company and left a voice mail and still no calls have been returned . It’s been over a few years trying to work with this company and I was finally recommended to contact Revdex.com for help. I wish I would have done this a lot sooner .

American Freight has looked into this customers issue with their mattress. The manufacturers warranty is void in this case due to staining, which is a policy the manufacturer states in their warranty booklet. American Freight has spoken with the customer and has offered to assist the customer by offering them a discounted price on a new mattress when they're ready to purchase a new one.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was not given the manufacturer's book and was not informed during the purchase of the mattress. Also the person I spoke with informed me that when the spoke with the people I was calling at the Rivera location told him they were trying to get the right picture. When that was a false, I sent in multiple pictures on separate occasions . It has taken them Over a year to finally look at the mattress and now inform me of the manufacturer's requirements. The sales associate should have never mentioned life time warranty with out submitting a manual . I would never purchase for America freight even at a discounted price. Extremely poor customer service and fale advertising on their products .

On Saturday, I had a bedroom set delivered. Once it was delivered, I discovered that the dresser was cracked on the corner. I called what I thought was the Marietta store ( but was actually the Stone Mountain store) and spoke to a manager name Delmon. He advised me to send a picture and email it to him and he will call back by the end of the business day. He never called back so I called the same number back on sunday and spoke with Delmon. He said he called me back, however I never saw a missed call nor a voicemail. After going back and forth, I asked what is the solution. He said that he will send the email to corporate and call me back between 12-2 on monday to discuss time for a swap. So monday came and no phone call, so I called at 3. Spoke to Delmon and he said that someone will pick up my furniture tomorrow. He said that they would call me 45 mins ahead of time and I said ok. So after no call again, I called back on Tuesday around 4:30 and spoke to Delmon. He was very nonchalent and sounded kinda irritated. He called me by the wrong name and when I corrected him, he said hold on. He came back to the phone and said, you ordered your furniture in the Marietta office so you need to call them and schedule a pick up. I reminded him that I have been speaking to him since Saturday and you are just now telling me that I have been calling the wrong office. He never apologized and rudely said you need to call them, I can just see your account, I can't help. I told him that I did not like his tone and his disregard to assist. I disconnected the call and found the correct number to the Marietta office. I finally called the right office and spoke to Manny. He was very apologetic and offered to have the drivers swap out my furniture the same day.
Today I spoke to Mr. R after leaving a message about my concerns of my treatment and he became quite defensive by saying, but you called the incorrect office. I informed him that I did not know that I was until Tuesday. How Delmon treated me is my complaint. He did not have to dismiss me and become so combative with me from Saturday to Tuesday. I makes me feel as though my hard earned money isnt ***reciated from this company. I have been a long time customer however I do not believer I will continue. I ***reciate Manny for his stellar customer service, which should be trained across this company.

The quality of the couch and loveseat hat we bought was poor. This would be the first time I purchased a set that started sagging after only 4 months of ownership. I complained to them and got no response back. They ignored me after I emailed them pictures. I will not purchase here again!

American Freight does not have good business practices. I went in to purchase a sofa and love seat and was advised the one I requested was not in their warehouse. After purchase I was advise it would be a month. Upon getting a call from a 3rd party delivery service, I was advise it would cost me 69.00 for delivery. Something that was never devolved during my purchase or on my receipt. When I called Americn Freight Brian was unkind not willing to give me his last name and stated they use a 3rd party delivery service and the cost was 69.00. He would not discuss the fact that my receipt did not reflect a delivery change or the reason why the salesman did not share this informarion prior to purchase.

I ordered and paid for a bedroom set for my daughter June 2nd 2018. The headboard was on back order and they said they would call me in 7 to 10 days. They didn't call so I did. The headboard was still not in. I call a couple more times and even went there to see if I could get a refund. I was told I can't get a refund because it was a packaged deal. It's now October and I still don't have a headboard.

9-18-2018 I Went to American Freight to buy two recliners salesman Alex who said he was the manager promised me if I bought today he could promise delivery with in a week. I bought the chairs for $631.76 .after a week had passed Alex said he would check on delivery and call me back . Alex never called me. I called ever day until 9-29-2018 I went to store with my wife . I was meet by a new salesmen claiming that he was the manager so I handed him copy's of or contract telling him we wish to cancel the order. He looked up order and said that chairs were never shipped from warehouse and won't be for another week. Manager said they have 30 days to deliver chairs and Alex lied to me an that Alex was on probation. On the bill/contract it has a no return policy and they don't even guarantee color or condition I pointed out that the contract was never signed by me or anyone. Plus that the contract/bill has a return policy but I cancellation policy on it . No product was ever received to return it was only a cancellation. The manager refused to cancel then he went insane trying to pick a fight with my wife and I to justify throwing us out of store he first claimed I called him a it he ran around counter and ordered my wife and I to leave while throwing contract papers back at us.We started to leave as we went through the door he started yelling at my wife who had said nothing up to that moment Manager said to her 'Did you call me something racist'? My wife turned and said that she did not Manager trying to get a response out of us on camera We would not react we left.
