I bought two rocker recliner loveseats March 2018. Payed cash money, bought the warranty. Tried to file a claim due to problem with them both but the warranty isn’t effective for the first year, the store is responsible for the first year. Called and talked to Ron weeks ago and nothing has been done. I am going to buy furniture this month but will be looking for a different store to buy from! Very dissatisfied with the customer service and Ron!!

While the gentlemen I talked to was polite, he was unable to resolve my issue or provide any sort of solution outside of “I’m sorry”. Purchased a 1,200 couch and love seat set a month ago. I was informed that while American Freight does offer “rip and tear repair” I was never offered the option to buy this, and because it was caused by my animal I can’t pay to have it repaired/replaced. It’s a lid to a center console. So basically even though the service is offered, it’s only to certain people under specific circumstances. For the amount of money I paid this is unacceptable and I will not be making any future purchases from this business.

We purchased a couch and love seat. It wasn’t cheap. I specifically told the salesman since my husband is retired we need a couch w cushions that don’t sink in. After only 2 months the cushions where we sit are so sunken in and look terrible. I payed for the warranty which covers I guess burns, bodily fluids and one other thing. I called the manger who was very nice. I sent him in pictures which show how horrible they look. This has been over a month ago. I have bought a couch from fingerhut for cheap that lasted a long time. This is rediculous I would rather get a different set or maybe mine is defective. The store was *** in *** az. My name is *** and I would appreciate some response!!! I am a very unhappy customer.

We bought a sectional from American Freight in March of 2018 and the whole thing is falling apart from the frame in less than a year! Called them and they said to email them with photos and our information. Nope haven’t even gotten a phone call or email back.
I’m super pissed!

If I could give zero stars I would. This is my second time in there. They are very unprofessional in that building. My god, it’s like a daycare in there. You have employees running around hitting on each other while customers are needing help. Employees using profanity and vulgar language very openly. Walking around on their phones. Oh my, how disturbing to watch for business. I thought I walked into a high school. Ask me did I go to a manager? Most certainly. He gave off this don’t care response. I asked is there anyone above him and I was told “yeah he’s in the back busy”. Busy??? With all this going on in the front????? He walked away and went outside. I attempted to give this business a try after my girlfriends and co-workers told me not to. If someone doesn’t fix this you are forever going to have customer issues. How could anyone allow this in a place of business? You get treated like the customers need the employees when the employees need us customers. Good thing I didn’t apply for the application online before I took a walk inside to see for myself. Most certainly taking my money somewhere else. I will be sure to call during the weekday to get answers from a owner or someone who might not be so busy for the customers’ issues. OH MY!

Purchased over 5000 worth of furniture may 2018, everything was packaged great, but upon getting the new bed we purchased home it was determined that the footboard was cracked, a leg was missing, and one post on the headboard was coming apart. We purchased the warranty but still to this day I am calling the store every month as we wait on a new bed...absolutely ridiculous! Called corporate left several messages no call back to this day. Someone was sent out almost two months after the purchase to replace the items BUT they brought a wooden leg, not metal like the other 5, a footboard post, which is useless as the crack is in the actual middle piece of the footboard where the posts attaches. Everytime I call I get the same story, we cant order certain items we only sell what we get...so what good is my warranty program if they cant reorder broken parts. I originally wanted my foot board replaced but now almost 8 months later I deserve to have it replaced and refunded the warranty charge as they have done nothing.

American Freight will replace the damaged items once they become available and provide the customer with a $200 refund to their CC.

On January 8, 2019 I stopped in American Freight to see if they still had a living room set that was there this past summer and they did. So I finance the living room set and was told it could be delivered at the cost of $69.00 I went for that deal...The furniture was delivered on Friday 1/11/2019 I was called and told the $69.00 had to be paid at the door by credit card so I paid it...One of the sofas would not fit in my doorway, I was told it could be hoisted to my top porch for an additional $150.00 that I didn't have at the time, I was told the furniture could go back to the store but no refund of the $69.00..

I was being held hostage in my own home. I told the delivery guy I was not going to pay $150.00 and he lowered the price to $120.00 but it had to be cash that was not in my house at the time so I had to go to someone and make a loan this was the first time I had any interaction with this delivery company and I was not ready for this type of transaction I was very upset with American Freight for not informing me of this..

Even more, I was told there were no taxes for this transaction and my receipt shows no taxes. Only when I called their financed company I was told that $57.20 was added at a later date for taxes this also added to my bottom line for this transaction.

I was not going to write Revdex.com due to the fact American Freight had a request to call A.F. first to give them a chance to work things out so I call and also the week of 1/14/19 to speak with a Racheal I left two messages and had no return call as yet......

And last, the delivery person said the ground was frozen and had to back his truck up on my lawn I now have a truck tire in prints in my lawn this was a sales and delivery from hell.....

Hello after coming in today off your website you’ve advertised the mattress for 399 for each piece when I get there because I don’t need the set the price doubles. After speaking with manager and general manager you guys get this complaint on a daily but have failed to fix the issues just to get customers to come in. It’s pretty clear you don’t plan on fixing the issues on your website by stating the price of mattress only price. I feel it’s just best to go the Revdex.com about it. But I didn’t want you blindsided like you do your customers. Wishing change in this company future. Hope to see businesses doing a lot better by the people that keep them open in 2019

American Freight apologizes that the customer didn't understand the website. All mattress on the website are advertised each piece with a disclaimer that they are sold in sets, if pieces are purchased separately prices will vary.

Really disappointed about customer care. I have purchased house full of furniture from *** MI shop. They promised to deliver all the items on the same day, which they did except the dresser. I paid full amount in cash for the delivery as well. It is been closer to a month now still they did not deliver my dresser. When I call them they say that it will be delivered on that day but never happened until now.

This is a horrible company to work with. we went in we didn't want to buy one of their mattresses that were on the floor we ordered one and they kept telling us after we paid for it that it was on the truck coming in they held our money hostage for three weeks and tried to sell us a different mattress on our first call. we didn't want to entertain that idea so they kept saying it was on next week's truck next week's truck do not go in there if you think you're gonna walk out with anything other than the broken down stuff they have on the floor

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.....you get charged triple for crappy furniture. They don’t tell you all the hidden fees. This place will rob you dry while you think you have good furniture, it falls apart. Needless to say I’ve asked them to come and get the furniture and they refused to come and get it. I’d rather sleep on the floor than to keep paying for this crap!!!! I would recommend this store to anyone. Go to Ashley’s Furniture, or better yet shop on Walmart.com for furniture, I’m pretty sure it’s better than this crap!!!!

I personally had an indecent with the store manager. His phone etiquette was VERY rude. I called to inquire about my delivery since I was told someone would call me with a time window. I know the store closed at 5pm and it was 2:30pm with still no call. When speaking with CAL (Store manager) I was told my items were not even on the list to be delivery that day (contrary to what I was told the day before). I told him how this was incorrect and he proceeded to say how he would correct it. Two more hours go by and I start to get a little worried because I know from being in the store the previous day I was told that they stop deliveries at a certain time. So now it's 4:30pm (store closes at 5pm on Sundays) I call the store and ask for the associate who helped me (named Blaye) since the Manager Cal was so rude, of course Cal picks up, and says he's not here then proceed to just hang up. So then I get pissed, I then asked my boyfriend to call (since I am a female and I thought it would have been a better exchange man to man) and Cal picks up again. My boyfriend says he wants to check on a delivery, Cal asked for the name, once mine is given Cal goes, oooooh and then hangs up. My boyfriend calls two more times for the phone to be picked up and hung up once more and then no answer. At this point it's 4:45pm and I have no idea what's going on with my purchase. I hop in my car and head to the store. Once I walk in I see two gentlemen at the counter and I walk up and ask is either of you name Cal, Cal looks at me and says me. I then proceed to ask him why was his phone etiquette so rude and he immediately starts to go off saying how he has so many customers (mind you there is only two people in the store) and how no customer is better then the other. I said I never said I was better and he is still going off saying he doesn't have time for this and is now repeating the question "do you want a refund". In this process my boyfriend asked to be on the phone (on speaker) since this is a male-female exchange and also ask Cal why did he hang up on him. Cal is still yelling and states that they are having phone problem (points to the back) and says they are working on it now (I look in the back and there is no one there). In the mist of the argument I am still asking as the manager how he could be so rude and how he could argue with a customer, he never gave me an answer he just kept saying "do you want. a refund". Never in my life have I had such HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. This man who calls himself a manager and no regard for normal human to human respect and defiantly doesn't deserve the position he is in. I should have know better because after reading the reviews for this store I should have stayed away. I felt so uncomfortable when speaking with him, he was so aggressive and at times I even felt scared. This is the worst store I have EVER had and I plan to NEVER go back or do any business with American Freight.

My husband and I purchased a whole living room set. Recliner, loveseat, two end tables, and coffee table. It was made clear at the time of purchase that we needed the furniture before the new year. We even we so far as to offer to pay full price for the display couches and were denied because, “they could sell 10 of those couches before they even get them restocked.” Well we decide to order the couches when we were assured that they would be delivered in two weeks. We call after two weeks and we were told that it was running behind and that we would have it bythe 1st for sure. NOW I just called the day after Christmas as I need to have the couches by the new year and the manager says that the date of delivery is now moving even further again!, to January 15th. I expect when I spend $2000 with a store that they can atleast own up to there side of the contract of sale. I would never come here again after I cancel my order.

Upon purchase of furniture, I was given a contract stating that delivery fee was $60, to be paid in cash upon arrival. On their way to delivery my furniture, they called me and stated that the price was now $90. The only justification I was given when I called to resolve the problem was that the salesperson who did this was "new." I was refused my request for the additional $30 to be refunded to me.

used the lay away deal,dim lit warehouse hard to read form I signed, sales guy basically led us to think once furniture paid for no more auto payments to come out(6 months). Come to find out it stated if wasn't paid for in 3 months we would pay double the cost!! Stay away from this place, I am refusing to pay te other 450.00 I think we were mislead(i gues I should have taken a magnify glass and flashlite to read, we are on fixed income but this taught me to not buy til you have the money, finance company American first got a little richer--shame on me for trusting sales people when forms are hard to read!!!

We bought 2 sofas that fell apart. So American Freight said I have a pair that is much better quality. So they exchanged the 2 sofas. Then those fell apart. So I complained to the corporate office and they exchanged for what he said was excellent quality. Theses two sofas have caved in inside the seating. Like the last sofas all did. I am very upset because I offered to get a more expensive set and pay the difference for bettter quality. Than the sofas we had been getting. He guaranteed me they wouldn't fall apart and so they did. We don't hardly use the sofas. I expect to use the $900.00 credit for this last pair and pay $500.00 for a more dependable set.

American Freight has swapped this customer out on several different occasions. Upon performing the last swap-out the customer signed that this was their last swap-out, no exceptions. The signed memo is attached to this reply.

The customer is welcome to send over the necessary pictures of the damaged furniture including the customers contact information to: [email protected]. American Freight will still attempt to file a claim on the customers behalf and will update the customer upon the manufacturers decision of the claim.

I am in my 50s and have purchased MANY items over those years.
I would have to say this was the absolute worse experience I have ever had.
I had to rate this one star because zero star was not available. It was that bad!
They lie to you on delivery dates and don't tell you about delivery fee ($100 in cash) until the day of delivery.
My initial order was to be delivered that day. Long story, NO, it was delivered 12 weeks later. During that time, I called 8 times over 10 week period. Same routine. "Truck coming in, they will check, and give me a call back." NEVER called me back on any of those 8 times.
Two days after I received the furniture, problem with two of the pieces. After a few calls, emails, and pictures, they agreed to reorder the two items. Yes, I was told 2 - 4 weeks for delivery. I WISH!
11 weeks later. YES 11, I finally got resolution. However, during those 11 weeks, another 8 calls to 3 different individuals and same process for each person. "The will check trucks coming in, will call you back." NEVER EVER got call back.
Finally was asked to come in and MUST pick new items as the original are no longer being sold. This only happened because I continued to call them back. Had to settle for something that I did not really want. (All sales final policy.)
Run as FAST and FAR as you can away from this company!
I wish I could share this with anyone that went into this company.

On August 26, 2018 I purchased a Windsor King bed from American Freight. I also purchased a king mattress, box frames and sofa/loveseat through financing. I scheduled delivery for October 5, 2018. On October 5, 2018, they delivered the bed, box frames and sofa/loveseat; but no mattress. I called Mike who handled my order and at first, he had the nerve to tell me I didn't order a mattress and I said that I would purchase it at another store. I was irate. However, after having to email him proof of purchase, he apologized and sent the mattress later on that night with a free pillow. On October 6, 2018 my boyfriend put the bed together and I noticed that it wasn't the bed that I purchased on August 26, 2018. It was a Windsor but the incorrect model. I called Mike and again he said that I didn't have the wrong bed. And again, I had to email him proof. He then apologized and said that he would have to see if the bed is in the back. He didn't call back. I called him the next day and he said that he had the bed but not the hardware, so don't take the bed apart until he gets the hardware and is able to deliver it to me. Fast forward to November 11, 2018, I called him;and had been calling every other week because he didn't have the courtesy to update me on the details. I was informed by Mike that he had received the hardware and he was going to put it on a truck to *** that was already being delivered Saturday November 17, 2018. On November 17, 2018. I received a call saying that the delivery truck would be there in 15 minutes. I said okay. I was at a wedding and my cellphone battery was dying as we spoke. I told my boyfriend who had been at my house waiting all day for the delivery, that they guy said that he'd be there soon. My phone died while I was at the wedding. When I was leaving the wedding, I stopped by the store to purchase a charger and when my phone came on, I received missed calls and a text message that read "I been out here for 15 minutes. I'm gone." My boyfriend told me that noone knocked know the door being that we live in an apartment complex with many apartments, you'd have to have the apt number to knock on the door. So, upset and frustrated, I called Mike, pleading to him that no-one knocked on the door and that the truck delivery was gone. He said that he told the guy to wait 25 minutes and that no-one was answering the phone. He also said that the apt number wasn't on the receipt because they had gotten a new system update and it didn't print the apt number on the receipt. So I asked him when would I get my bed being that he asked me to have my boyfriend disassemble my bed. He said the next time he gets a delivery to ***. I'm so upset, I tried to ask him for corporate number and he didn't give it to me and said that he was the manager. I am so tired of going back and forth and I just want my bed. I am currently sleeping in my bed on the floor. It's not fair to me as a customer to suffer because of a mistake that he made. He also tried to get me to find a way to drive my car to west Palm from *** to switch out the beds. A king size bed cannot fit in my car and they should bring it because they delivered the incorrect bed model. Please help.

I purchased some furniture on 4/22/18 Order #***. We have a one years manufacturers warranty, well the frame on the love seat stating coming apart in the back of the seating area. We filed a claim on 11/19/18 online. Now the frame has gotten worse and is completely falling down, so we are unable to sit on the love seat, and the arm on the couch is now coming apart from the couch.

I called the store #*** which is the store that I purchased this from and asked to speak to the manager on Friday 11/30/18 at 5:20 pm, I asked to speak to the manager and he said that he was with a customer and will be about 5 minutes, so I asked if I could hold for him. I was placed on hold then after a couple of minutes I was hung up on possibly by accident. I called back at 5:25 and Jerry answered the phone so I explained that I was waiting for the manager. He stated that he was the manager, so I explained what was going on with my furniture, so he checked in the back and said that they has this furniture available and that he can swap this furniture out for me on Saturday 12/1/18 then they will file the claim, however I would need to pay the delivery fee of $75, which I did not agree with, however I just wanted this taken care of so I agreed.

Then on Saturday 12/1/18 at 10:06 Jerry called me and stated to protect them if I can send them pictures of the furniture's damaged so I sent him 3 pictures on his cell phone at 10:22 am. Then I rec'd a call from Jerry at 11:09 am stating that his boss said that the damage of the furniture is not bad enough so they will not be swapping out. I explained that the frame on the love seat has completely fell down and we cannot sit on it, also the arm of the couch will only get worse. Then he asked me if I could send him more pictures that it might help with his boss more at eye level. So I texted him 9 more pictures at 11:15 am on Saturday as well. Both with the cushions on and the cushions off. I also explained that his boss can come look at my furniture if he'd like.

I also emailed them at *** on Sunday 12/2/18 to see if they could help me get this resolved as well. I never rec'd any response from them.

Had my mattress, box bed and frame for no more than 2 months and both set are broken. Was told I have a warranty which I paid $99 for with the company and keep getting the run around. The company which is local that I brought the merchandise from keeps tell me the warranty is through cooperate. Then once I finally get cooperate on the phone and their sayibg go back to the main office in Charlotte. All I want is for them to either take off the merchandise off my bill or replace all of them. Please help so I can go back to sleeping in my bed and not the coach.'??'??
