American Freight did not tell me that they didn't set furniture up on deliveryCompany that delivered which American Freight contracts, dropped dissasembled furniture into apartment and leftThey state that is in their contract that they don't do set upThis is not stated in contractGave me a queen size head board for full size bedA mirror that has to be welded to wall

9-18-2018 I Went to American Freight to buy two recliners salesman Alex who said he was the manager promised me if I bought today he could promise delivery with in a week. I bought the chairs for $631.76 .after a week had passed Alex said he would check on delivery and call me back . Alex never called me. I called ever day until 9-29-2018 I went to store with my wife . I was meet by a new salesmen claiming that he was the manager so I handed him copy's of or contract telling him we wish to cancel the order. He looked up order and said that chairs were never shipped from warehouse and won't be for another week. Manager said they have 30 days to deliver chairs and Alex lied to me an that Alex was on probation. On the bill/contract it has a no return policy and they don't even guarantee color or condition I pointed out that the contract was never signed by me or anyone. Plus that the contract/bill has a return policy but I cancellation policy on it . No product was ever received to retur

Please advise this customer that she entered into a LAYAWAY POLICY IT IS STATED ON HER RECEIPT (AMERICAN FREIGHT ASSUMES ONE READS THEIR RECEIPT ENTERING INTO ANY CONTRACT).....Layaway payments of at least ten dollars ($10.00) must be made every two weeks Final payment due within months.....it continues to say: if you are current on your payments and your merchandise is not available within a four week period, you will be entitled to a full refund of all layaway payments.We will be happy to delivery free of charge....ITEM CAME INTO STOCK YESTERDAY, WE WILL BE CALLING CUSTOMER TO SET UP DELIVERY

American Freight will gladly refund the customers $back to her in cash, instead of asking her to wait on the company checkWe have already refunded the $that was charged on her card, but have no control on how long it takes to post to her accountAs far as the customers overdraft fee's go, American Freight cannot refund any money that was never paid to us, but we would be happy to offer the customer an in store credit towards her next purchaseAmerican Freight apologizes for the confusion on our refund policy

on 9/the furniture was still damagedOn 9/they came with another set that also was damaged and now I have no couches and I still don't have my money backThe store manger at the sand lake is very helpful but corporate is notThey are the ones that need to refund my money we have tried everything they recommendedWe have picked new couches since the others were discontinued and now the new couches we pick have been sent back twice

The following is my complaint sent to American Freight: Re: Receipt# [redacted] & # [redacted] To Whom this Concern: This letter is to notify you on 2/17/about a problem I am having with the LSF Corner Sofa Flannel Espresso that I bought at your North Memorial Parkway location on 2/12/ I am dissatisfied with your service because the sofa was promised to be delivered on Sunday, February 14th, I was originally offered to have the product delivered to me on that Friday, February but the sales rep did not have an estimated time could be delivered so my wife asked for it to be delivered on the following Sunday(2/14/1016)Granted, I know this was a busy weekend but I received no communication, none whatsoever about est arrival time, canceling delivery or a reschedulingI had to call to verify if the delivery could be made but no one could give an answerThis happened again the following dayA promise was made to have the product delivered on Monday 2/15/

I reject the response from American Freight because when I purchased the warranty, I was told that any damage could either be repaired or replacedWhat is it specifically are they saying that the manufacturer doesn’t cover? They didn’t say what was coveredAnd in regards to the colors of the furniture, I had to track the corporate office down about getting it replaced which was in At that time, I lost my boyfriend to diabetic ketoacidosis & went through a bout of depressionSo at the time when they were trying to contact me, I was getting helpThey should not be allowed to Sell warranties on furniture they don’t plan on honoring, nor putting in fine print on receipts what is covered under the warrantyI also notice they never clarified the issue about the length of my warrantyThis company has shown they use bad business practices to me when I spent over $purchasing furniture from themI would appreciate them just on good faith to honor what was told to me by their representativeThey didn’t even offer to repair the furnitureI’m not satisfied by their response at allThis is poor customer service & dissuaded repeat business

This was the worst shopping experience I've ever had on multiple levelsOn May 17, I went to American Freight in GoodlettsvilleThe mattress I needed was not in stock as it was advertised on the locations website The store manager then told me that they could order it but that it would take up to a month to receive After a month I contacted the store and was told the item I purchased and was waiting for was "discontinued" This had not been communicated to me what-so-ever until I called them wondering where my mattress was that I had already paid for I then went to the store's location and requested a refund The store manager told me that since I had paid in cash that a corporate check would have to be issued and that it could take up to weeks After weeks, I contacted the store manager again, was put on hold numerous times and was finally told that they "don't know what happened" to the check and was hung up on I then contacted the American Freight corporate office, left messages over a week time span and never received a call backIn the meantime, I contacted the store location and had them re-issue another corporate check and was told it would be another weeks After yet another weeks and no refund check, we contacted the general manager for the 3rd time and he was finally able to give us some kind of resolution It is now August 3rd and we are just now getting the refund check The shopping experience and customer service was horrible in the store as well as the corporate office I will never, ever again even consider purchasing anything from this company in the future

They openly admitted that they use pictures online to bring in customersWhen I told the as manager that they did not have the same mattress as online and wanted to sell me a futone mattress he told me that I could purchase elsewhere if I can afford and corporate was very rude hung up in my face and told me they use pictures

I purchased a couch and love seat from American Freight on 4/5/2014 as a wedding present for my daughter. The sales rep’s name was Jennifer W***. Because I paid in full ($854.80) rather than setting up a layaway plan, Jennifer told me that American Freight would store it for me through August 2016 if I needed that. It turns out that I did need that storage because my daughter and her husband ended up living at my house to save up money for their own house. I got a phone call from American Freight in August/September 2014 telling me they were on their way to deliver my furniture. I said NO NO NO, it isn’t supposed to be delivered and that no one called me to set up a delivery date. Besides, I was not planning to pay for delivery. Jennifer phoned me several times near the end of 2014 and into 2015 asking if I was going to pick up the furniture. I told her that I still needed to leave it with them. She said that they needed the warehouse space. I told her she said they’d store it unt

When a customer calls in for help to the customer service department and starts out immediately being foul and belligerent, there is not a whole lot we can do but to tell this customer to call back when they have calm downPLEASE NOTE: there are no records of her calling into the CS department before this call! I called guardian myself and her warranty had been registeredI ask guardian to call this customer to help her place a claim for this stain This customer purchased on 3/22/This customer demanded a refund from American Freight because of a stain that had been created since this purchase Please advise this customer there will be no refund and if she needs help with a claim with Guardian (the warranty she purchased) American Freight will help....but she must be respectful to all the employees here or American Freight will not do business with her!

I would steer clear of this businessI purchased a sectional from this store, I was happy with it until I realized the seams were coming apart and a spring broke loose in a cushionThe manager was great and immediately walked me through the steps to getting a new oneThey assured me that the warranty was untouched, I asked if I should purchase another warranty so we were covered, they told me this was a manufacturer defect so I was fine and the warranty was still in placeUnfortunately, the same thing happened to the replacementI sent pictures and said if we use the warranty that would be fine but now they tell me the warranty is no longer good and I am stuck with a busted sectional unless I would like to purchase anotherI do not have the money to just buy another sectional, I spent about on this and the ottoman just to have a piece of junk falling apartDo yourself a favor and go to another store, save yourself the headache

This customer chose to split her layaway into two separate purchastwo separate datesUnfortunately, the subcontracted delivery service must charge per delivery due to the added overhead of having to make a second traip

I started a laway with this company in February the total came to 2,dollars I put down a deposit of down on my laway after speaking to a few people I know purchase furniture from American Freight I realize well maybe I will go else so I called this [redacted] location to ask for my money they explain to me that they had a day policy after days you can't get your money back you can only use store credit So this left me with dollar store credit which the store associate said it can be used anytime I get ready so I go to this [redacted] location on the 3rd of July to use my store credit and I was told from the store manager Brook that they have me using my store credit in [redacted] on June the which I explain to them I did not do this at all If that is the case why am I here now I call dough which is suppose to be corporate store he not helping me either when I'm telling both parties it was not me at all I showed them my Identification my debi

Messages were absolutely placed on voice mails explaining piece was in with no return response We gave free delivery after customer began to be disrespectful/bully our employees Delivery was made today........NOBODY WAS AT THE HOUSE........DELIVERY CREW HAD CALLED BEFORE COMING OUT TO THIS CUSTOMERS HOUSE TO MAKE SURE SOMEONE WAS GOING TO BE THERE.....CUSTOMER SAID YES DELIVERY CREW GET TO THE HOUSE AND THERE IS NO ONE HOME.....CREW WAITED FOR 1/HOUR.....SO CREW PUT DELIVERY UNDER THE ROOF COVERED PORCH!!!!
