To whom it may concern; I recently purchased one sectional couch for $and a bed for $from American freight in Vestal Ny I have had so many issues with the furniture that I purchased that I am very upset and asked to return the items The couch that I spent almost $on has a broken leg and big rip in the bottom of it! The bed was a complete FAIL! Purchased February 19th did not receive until late February 20th Had a funeral to go to as my Grandfather passed away and I had to fly to FLAfter I came back, my husband and I decided to out the bed and couch togetherFirst thing was the couch and noticing the big rip in the lower bottom then the wobbly broken legThe couch was able to be pushed against the wall to be held upNow the bedWhat a waste of money! My husband opened one of the boxes and saw a smashed in corner on the drawer, so I called American Freight to tell them about the damage, right after I hung up the phone, my husband spotted the frame piece

In May, I purchased a sofa and loveseat set and a bedroom set from American Freight in [redacted] NY and paid for delivery services Within two weeks, the seam started splitting on the loveseat I promptly contacted the store and was provided with instructions to file a warranty claim which I did It took over the expected time to receive approval to exchange the loveseat via the warranty claim The loveseat was exchanged and I was not charged a delivery fee for this exchange I filed another claim regarding the sofa as the same thing occurred in which the seam split After waiting four weeks which was the expectation set from my previous claim, I was told that it could take up to six weeks, which this was not previously explained I followed up again and received approval on my warranty claim to exchange the sofa I was instructed to call the store to arrange for the exchange When I did, the employees I spoke with said that I would be charged a delivery fee even though

On June 1, 2016, I placed a dining table and chair on layawayI went into the store and requested my refund on or around June 14, The young lady informed me that unfortunately, their layaway policy does not allow a refund after daysShe stated that I could either receive a store credit or simply get the chairs only if I did not want the table anymoreOn June 26, 2016, I called and spoke with the store manager and asked if I decided to only get the chairs what would happen to the rest of my money as it would be an overpayment? Then they lied and said I signed for the changes but would not present a copy of "My Signature".

I purchased a mattress and box springs along with a king size bed frame on 2/19/16, I was told because I was paying with a check they would need two weeks before they could deliver but that they would use that two weeks to get the merchandise in stock In March 1, they were supposed to deliver the merchandise I called around am to see what time because I needed to get my car fixed, Mike said someone would call when they were on their way I called two more times about hours apart and was told the same thing I called at 6:and was told again, by Mike that the delivery crew was there loading up again and that someone should be calling back any minute He told me they closed at At 8:after I put my kids to bed I called back to discover they closed at The next morning they didn't open until 10, I called at 10:01, talked to Mike again and was told we would be the first delivery About 12, Rodney calls I was thinking they were about to bring our bed Only to find ou

I purchased a faux leather loveseat on 2/29/and was told that it would be in within days, after days I started calling the store and was given a delivery date different times and after nearly months I finally get one delivered that was defective, so called the sore and was told to text them picture which they say they did not get, thus I printed pictures and delivered them myself on a Friday and was told by the manager that he would call me by Sunday with the new delivery date, which did not happen, so I called him Tuesday and was told May 6th, when May 6th came around and nothing not even a phone call I called them back and then was told June 26th which was not acceptable so I asked for my money back and was told they did not do that, so I stayed on them and on Friday June 16th the store manager Anthony called and we were told it would be delivered Sunday the 18th Fathers day between and PMAfter sitting around all afternoon and missing the fathers day celebration with my family no show or even a phone callI went to the store today June st and confronted the manager and was told that it was on the truck and they tried to call but, got no answerI sat at home waiting for their call all afternoon and no calls except from my wife to see if it had arrivedWell it is now 4:PM and I am waiting, but would recommend if some one is considering using this business to totally avoid it

My year old parents went to American Freight on 7-26-and bought a sofa and love seat, cash and were told it would be delivered in one week.The sofa was delivered two weeks laterIt has now been over two months since my flks made their purchase and have yet to see the love seat they spent $not including tax and delivery!!! My parents have called the business multiple times and are told"it will be here next week" My older sister has called and told the same thingMy folks went to the store and there was a display model of the love seat...they asked if they could just take that one and was told no it would be another week for the one they orderedMy folks are being ripped of! On 6/20/I purchased a bedroom set from American Freight, [redacted] location, over the phoneThe Manager Mike E [redacted] ensured me that the furniture would be delivered on 6/21/and that the delivery crew would set up the furniture and take the trash awayNot only was the delivery driver Benson C***, rude and disrespectful in my home, but they scratched up my walls and stairwell rails, and put a 2xfoot stain in my carpet from thier dirty boxesThe boxes should not have even been brought into my homeThe sales manager Mike also ensured me that the price of the delivery was going to be $However the delivery driver, Benson, charged me $75, and I had to pay him another $so he would take the trash with himWe live in a HOA community that fines residents for boxes and bulk trashThe manager was rude and cursed on the phone when I called him to explain what his delivery driver had doneNot only did the driver overcharge me, they didn't assemble any furniture, they scratch

I returned the phone call to American Freight at 5:PM on 6/19/I was told that I would hear back on Friday about the status of the missing pieces of furnitureI was also instructed to wait until I receive the furniture before I get a refundI will only accept a resolution once I actually have the furniture and refund Regards, [redacted]

all furniture is damaged September 25, To Whom It May Concern: I [redacted] **  [redacted] purchased and financed a bedroom set for $1,and paid $cash for the other two pieces, and every single piece is damagedI called them, and they do not resolve my needsI have asked for a Manager to come look at this furniture and they told me that they do not do thatThis furniture was delivered in boxes, put in my bedroom up-side downI removed the packaging and it was damaged, scratched, drawers nickand they do not line-up, some are harder to shut then others and they are non-compliant with me This is not good for business by any meansI do not want to pay for the bedroom set but something needs to be addressed The resolution would be for me to pay half of what I own and live with it, because I will never deal with this company againI do not want them to exchange new furniture for this because I do not know that it would look like, it possibly

This customer purchased in October of 2013. This customer bought the extended warranty. Customer called the warranty company and filed a claim. Her claim was denied because it did not meet the specifications of the warranty. Customer is upset by this. Warranties are not instant replacements. American Freight does not sell their own warranty, we sell them for the manufacturers. Please have the customer keep this warranty for further claims. Customer will not be refunded but we would be have to give a good deal on a replacement piece!

This customer was call by the Regional Manager and explained this is how the manufacturer has designed it with the extra fabricHe also explained the Guardian Warranty to this customer to be better understood American Freight has given this customer $on her next purchase at American Freight and have marked her account for this store credit

Customer has received the legs Our sub delivery crew forgot to take them to the customer We told customer he could be refund for his delivery for the inconvenience, please have customer come into the store

A warranty does not mean an INSTANT REPLACEMENT....IT MEANS THE DEFECTIVENESS MUST MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE WARRANTY, THE GUIDELINES American Freight is doing a claim for this mattress It is not the decision of American Freight to replace....it is the decision of the manufacturer!

I put some furniture on layaway I put hundred and fifty down then I when back in a couple of weeks and I paid it it off and at the time he told me I can't pick it up because there was a problem in the computer and I had to give them days to get the furniture, I gave him days and counting and still no furniture or money, nobody will talk to me about giving me my money back

American Freight has now sent all and any communications with this customer to our Corporate Attorney. This customer and friend have begun to send emails everyday to [redacted] (SEE BELOW THE EMAIL MOST THEATENING). THEIR VENGENCE NOW HAS BECOME FRIGHTENING...WE ASK THIS CUSTOMER AND FREIND TO STOP THIS HARRASSEMENT OR THIS BEHAVIOR WILL BE REPORTED TO THE POLICE!

I bought furniture on 2/26/ Once it was delivered and opened, I noticed a few small tears in it already, it is very cheaply made I looked on my paper work to see what the return policy is, and it says that a receipt is needed for a return and refund I called the store and they told me that all says are final and that my items can not be returned I explained that It doesn't say that on their website , nor on my paper work He told me that there is a sign behind the desk, which I did not see I haven't even had this furniture for hours, I have the full receipt and according to their website and my paper work, I should be able to return this and recieve a full refund

Around March/April of my husband and I purchased a living room set from American FrieghtWe also purchase insurance during the time of purchaseThe sales person explained to us that if any damage was to occur to the sofas, we would be able to replace either oneDamage did occur to both sofas and about a month ago my husband and I went into to store and Spoke to the manager who said for me to send pictures of the damage goods and he would forward them to the Furnitures manufactureNeedless to say that we did that and it’s been over a month now and no one has contacted us about the matterMy husband and I went back to the store, also called the store including corporateThey seem to be ignoring us and basically not treating us as customersThat is extremely bad for business because not only will we not purchase anything from them anymore, I will not refer anyone to their store which I did few weeks ago when a co worker asked me where she could go purchase quality furniture fo
