I have been dealing with this company for two years to try and get on a monthly payment program like their website tells you you can doEvery time I call the office (which you can't reach directly, you have to leave your name and number so they can call you back) I get a different answerOne time the woman tells me you can only get on a monthly payment program in the spring, another phone call and another woman says you have to do it in the summer and when I question that, she says, oh, you can do it in MayBut, you can't do it with the propane you just boughtYou have to pay off that bill and then they start collecting money ahead of your next order, so you are paying in advanceAt least I think that's how I think it works, I never got a straight answer on that eitherAt first they told me they could not come out and fill my tank on a regular basisI had to call each timeThen they changed their minds and started checking the tank and automatically filling it if it was downThe last time they filled it with gallons on March 4th - after winter (this is N*** C***) - and with way too much propane that I won't use until next Januaryso, guess what, now I can't sign up for a monthly payment until I pay off that deliveryToday they sent someone out to lock my tank because I hadn't paidI had been paying about $a month but apparently partial payments don't countSo, I paid it in full, but they never checked online to see that I had paidIt's a good thing I was home so they could ask before actually locking the tankDo not go with Campbell PropaneTheir accounting office does not know what they are doing and their customer service is awful

Thank you for giving AmeriGas Propane, L.P, (“AmeriGas”) an opportunity to respond to Michael ***’s complaint regarding a deliveryAmeriGas takes any complaint by its customers seriouslyTherefore, upon receipt of this complaint, we investigated the allegations contained therein
and provide the following response based on our findings. By way of background, Mr*** is a will call customer, meaning he is responsible for monitoring the propane in his tank and for calling to schedule deliveriesWe recommend to our will call customers that they call when their tank is 25-30% full so that we have enough time to make a delivery to their property before their tank is emptyOur standard delivery timeframe for will call customers is seven (7) to ten (10) business daysMr*** contacted AmeriGas when his tank was empty during Hurricane Irma and his call was routed to another AmeriGas location. Mr*** uses propane for a generator and under the circumstances we had to prioritize deliveries to the most critically necessaryAs an example, but not limited to medical life supporting equipment deliveries needed to take priority. According to our records, Mr*** received his delivery of gallons within two (2) daysWe recognize he was not satisfied with our contingency plan of having another AmeriGas location answering the phone on behalf of our Florida locations but they were either under a mandatory evacuation or were without power, phones and/or internetWe understand some customers did not receive a call back from their local office as quickly as they would have hoped for and we apologize for any inconvenienceWe are still diligently working to get our Florida locations back up and running to 100% and appreciate our customers’ patience at this time. I trust that this letter adequately responds to the issues raised in the above referenced complaintIn light of the foregoing, AmeriGas reasonably considers this matter resolvedIf you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact me. ** *** ***, Valley Forge, PA ###-###-#### Sincerely, Jill D*** Jill D*** Customer Advocacy Manager Jill D*** | Customer Advocacy Manager | AmeriGas

On 2/5/I called my local Amerigas location *** **) to have a delivery setup I have been a will call customer since I moved into my house due to them telling me this was the cheapest way I could get propane They informed me that I would be paying $a gallon which I asked if there was any cheaper way They said no and I ordered propane because I need to heat my house for the winter I then went and did some re-search and talked to other who pay for propane and values of propane for other companies are between $to $ The are are re-occurring customers who are not on any promotion just like myself Amerigas prices are not competitive and they completely rip of their customers I know cents might not sound like a lot but it is when I filling up a gallon tank I was lied to on my pricing and they said they are not able to do anything about it

I have contacted AmeriGas three times to gain information on how to cancel my service with them, and have them pick up my propane tank in order for me to use a different companyThey continue to tell me they will call me back with the cost to do this, or that they don't know and will "ask around." I have been told something different every time I call, and keep requesting the information to cancel with them in writingI never hear backTheir prices per gallon of propane are significantly higher than both the competition and the government pricing posted on, and I believe they are over-charging which is why I want to switch companiesBut, I am not able to do that without understanding what I will be charged for them to come pick up their propane tank (which they will not allow me to "rent" to another provider as I do not own it)Any help would be much appreciated

Total rip off make you agree to a contract that say's they can do what ever they want I had a gal tank for a long time they all ways seemed to charge me moreI became disabled the minfill on the large tank was $they said because the tank was so largeIt took years but I finally got them to bring out a smaller tankNow I called to refill the gal tank guess what $min fill Why because it is a smaller tank Now I checked here:
https://fuelwonk.com/vendor/eia-wisconsin-propane/36805/today it is $ and I called Amerigas South Beaver Dam Wiand today it is $a galMore than a full dollar over the market pricetalked to a few friends that live close and the get it from FS and pay close to the market priceOnce you have a tank from Amerigas you are screwed
DO NOT GET A TANK FROM AMREIGAS

This company literally robs their customersWe used this company from 2002-I roughly added up what we paid out all those yearsNearly $70,Thats my kds college education! We were on a budget and the payments were going up every yearThey claim they give "the best deal"Who are they kidding? You get locked in to this price which was always over $The gas prices would drop and they basically said, too bad! The drivers would come fill the tank up and they even agreed what a rip off this company isThey said that they gouge the long time customers to give new customers better ratesIn the last year we used them, our budget exceeded $a monthThen we STILL owed $for our catch up billI paid that budget from june till the following april, still had this massive catch up billId love to know what happened to all that money supposedvly going into my acccount???? How is that possible that we paid that much money then still owed over $in the end? That was itWe ended up buying the tankIts underground so they erent going to come and unbury itWe now prebuy our propane from different companiesLast year we bought gallons at $a gallonWe skated thru the winter with no problem at all! Best decision we ever made was to dump this companyi don't know how they get away with robbing everyoneI wish we would've wised up soonerEvery company we call to check the prebuy rates are LOWER then this oneBy at least $1.50! I don't get itIm sure the CEO is living comfortably

I was a customer of Amerigas for several years probably about I decided two years ago to consider another company which I did and they had billed me for several tanks rentals for months I did not have need or useI had a very bad flood in my house and it was not usable for monthsThat's not even my complaint now they tell me that if I change companies they charge you a $cancellation fee when you switch to another company?? I have no contract
That's an awful way of doing businessI feel violatedYou should be free to use whoever you want and not be punished
I paid the fee today but I think its a terrible way of running a business

Contacted Blue Flame Gas on December 27, to let them know we were down to 30% propane as per contract agreement even though we are suppose to be on auto delivery They said they would deliver propane next week I called again the morning of January 3rd and they told me they would deliver propane today By 4:30p.mI had not received any propane nor did anyone call to explain why I called again and Monica told me the driver ran out of propane but we would be the first delivery on January 4th As the day progressed on the 4th and still no delivery, I called again and spoke to Danielle By this time our propane level is down to 20% Danielle said we were supposed to be the first on the list for delivery and didn't know why the route was changed, but would call me when the driver was headed our way By 4:30p.mI called again and this time spoke to Monica Again no explanation as to why we hadn't received a propane delivery Monica did say that the driver was told to delive

I have a $dollar credit with the *** I've been there times in the last two weeks, and they are not filling propane tanks They have a sign on the door saying closed I have turned the sign over more than once then I see them in thereAnd have ask for service
I don't know if they are going out of business, but they don't seam to be " in it."
I need my propane! It's cold in my house
I want them to treat me like a human, either return the funds or serve me

My experience with this company is very negativeIf there was another gas company that I could use, I would in a heartbeatFor the last two yrs they have not read my meter 6-months consecutively from may-novroughlyManagement is very unprofessionalHad new gas water heater installed two yrs ago so I’m stuck using gasIf I had know Heritage propane was changing to this company I would have installed electric water heaterI purposely don’t use my gas central heat and use electric heaters insteadIf you call to complain then they just say they will stick a huge 5-6ft gas tank in your small 1/acLot
