Dear Sir or Madam:
On January 5, I received a propane bill from AmeriGas for my home at *** *** Rdin Eaton, NH The bill was for $for gallons of propane I was shocked by this bill Although I did expect a large bill due to the excessively cold weather, I did not expect one so high It turns out the reason for this high bill was the very high price for the propane AmeriGas was charging me 4.739/ gallon for the propane When I looked this price up, I discovered that it is way over the national average for the week of $2.524/gallon
Here is my source: https://*** I also noted that this price is far above the other vendors in the valley I believe they are price gauging due to high demand

I'd give them stars if I could Worst customer service ever We've been in conversation with "managers"??? who, since they know they have no contract with us to stand on, just stop responding to usMeanwhile we keep piling up late fees for a bill they have no right to charge us Literally, NO ONE will even speak to us from the company

I am rejecting this response because:While I do appreciate the Letter and the response and I disagree with the amount being refundedMy main concern is the total lack of concern for customer SafetyI have never in my entire life seen a group of people that refused to acknowledge that placement of a LbPropane tank that is vented during the filling process or may be mechanically vented when it is overfilled, and it was placed right next to the RV at the place where we lay our heads to sleep is a bad ideaPlease see attached picturesThe first picture is how they set us up, the second is how it should have been, out away from the RV in case of an accidental spark and resulting firePlus when vented the propane would not have vented into the RV under the slide out filling the RV up with Propane and potentially killing the occupants It was a five minute fix for Amerigas, but they just refused to even consider it. I would appreciate my complaint and all documents and photos plus responses from Amerigas being forwarded to the State and Federal Regulating Agency's that Govern the Placement and filling of Propane Tanks in Residential ApplicationsI really believe this is a true Safety Concern and I believe someone will pay the ultimate price before the folks here in our area acknowledge that Safety for the Customer should be a priority. Thank you for your assistance!Regards,*** ***

I am the secretary of a small country church In years past we had a propane heater and received propane from Heritage Propane, which I think now is Amerigas We have not had a propane heater for over years, but we keep getting bills from this company I have called and called My husband has called many times I sent them a letter Each time we ask that they come to pick up their tank Each time we receive the same answer, "We will take care of it." They even billed us for gas that they did not deliver We kept a check on the tank Now, they sent the bill to a collections agency I don't know what else to do Today, I called the corporate office twice and had to leave a message They never returned my call I would never recommend this business

I was originally a customer with Coast Gas, but they were bought out by Amerigas right around the time I decided to switch vendorsAs Coast had charged me an absolute fortune for my last tank fill, I let my tank empty out to about 15% before switchingLuckily it ran down this far literally the week before my tank lease was dueI called to have them pick up my empty tank on April 1st or 2nd and was assured it would be picked up within a week or twoIt's now August 16th and the tank is still on my propertyWorse yet, they have been calling and harassing me for the tank lease fee, all while adding late charges to the billI have spoken to FIVE people now, sent TWO letters, and have written on every bill sent to me that I have been requesting the tank to be picked up since the beginning of AprilI just called AGAIN and they assured me it would be picked up as soon as possibleI don't have any faith this will happen and instead expect more phone calls demanding moneyAt this point I'm ready to call my lawyer and have them send a letter to Amerigas demanding pickup as well as a fee paid to ME for storage for monthsDo yourself a favor and find a LOCAL company to do business with

My company (MOOVERS) used their service They kept bring back a cylinder that was BAD We kept labeling and telling the service man that the cylinder was BAD, and we could not use it AmeriGas' system of cylinder service is AWFUL We had one of the bad cylinders discharge on it's own in the warehouse - DANGEROUS! We had to air out the whole warehouse for several days and hope for the best AmeriGas could care less We decided to go with another propane company NOW, AmeriGas want us to pay for them picking up their cylinder cageI have called the local office and sent a message to the corporate office Their customer service is poor at all points It is one thing if we just decided to switch service providers, but they failed to provide the service we needed and even put us in severe danger They defaulted on their end of the contract I will not pay for them picking up their cylinder cage

Horrible business ethics, they treat their customers like garbageThey also never answer their phones and now the have been calling me and hanging up on meIt feels like I'm dealing with kids from middle schoolThey like to let customers run out of propane so they can charge a leak test fee
