Terrible customer serviceI do not recommend this companyWe called last week for delivery and paid upfrontToday (Mar) we ran out of gas and now they are charging emergency service price to deliver- this also seems to be a patternThis is about the 4th or 5th time this has happened in the last several yearsWe are so fed up we are going to lock this tank and then pay another company to install an above ground tankIf we ever move to another house with propane, Amerigas will be a deal breaker for buyingI despise this companyI cannot believe with negative reviews they are rated an A- on Revdex.com

Terrible company to deal withwe changed companies and now Amerigas wants to pick up their tankI told them not to bother and they said if they didn't pick it up we would be charged a monthly rental feewe have been using them for eight yeas and never aid a rental fee

Good morning ** ***,
I attempted to respond to the email from Revdex.com concerning my AmeriGas complaint but I was unable to do more than hit the 'reject' linkI believe it may have been a browser malfunctionHowever, I have included below in this email, my response below to AmeriGas: Thanks
Response To AmeriGas: ***
BLUF: Unlike AmeriGas's response, NONE of this is conjecture, it can be proven by delivery invoices and witnessesSince they are adamant that this matter is closed, I see my only recourses as the following:
I have Army guys on my email list, I’m going to send these documents to them and warn them about doing business with AmeriGas. I’m going to try to get the lot get the Army on Ft *** to put AmeriGas ‘off limits’ to GI’s as I think they have shady business practices.
I have already contacted ***, even before I contacted the Revdex.com, he is non-responsive so I don’t see this being resolved by him I did not ask for, nor will I be paying for the gallons AmeriGas decided to deliver of their own accord. AmeriGas needs to retrieve this, on my schedule, since their last delivery guy ran off my driveway onto the soft lawn If the tanks are ‘refurbished’ as claimed, then I need proof that the one on my property was new when installed (as opposed to the ‘refurbished’ one my neighbor uses, which was installed months after mine )If not, then Iwant them to retrieve their tank, as at this point I am not giving AmeriGas any more of my hard earned moneyIn response to their conjecture:
March had only ONE day of frozen precipitation, May 5th, were the trucks off the road the entire month? AmeriGas also made deliveries at least TWICE in my neighborhood in March, DURING the time I was calling to get a refill, at least one of their customers, ironically the guy that got the lowest price was an on-call customerHe was not on an autofill program OR a fixed price schedule! So obviously, he called and got gas, I called for weeks and nothing!
I had called several times ( I can prove with phone records), speaking to a guy at least times who said “We have trucks out I will make sure someone gets over there and take care of you” (I can prove this since I record all calls to and from my phone)? And, I remember this because his response was the same every time, as if reading from a scriptSo which is right, Jill’s response or the guy on the phone?? In addition, at least once I called and left a message and one other instance I talked to a woman.
AFTER all this, I still had to take a day off work to go to the office to get them to deliverI had reiterated to them, every time I called, that the gage was almost on zero (AmeriGas admonishes their customers to not let the gage get too far below 35% because this would incur purging the system)And, I had not requested a “partial delivery” as claimed, I had specifically requested ONLY gallons, because like my neighbors I was getting frustrated with their reliability , knew it was soon going to be warmer, and didn’t want to store gas at the higher price over the summer!
Their pricing is subjective, because the other neighbor that complained was given the exact price I received (the aforementioned ‘market price’), and only when they complained in person at the office were they given the ‘neighborhood rate’, to which I was told I “was not entitled” by the people in the officeI get gas delivered twice a year, again, the individual that received the lowest price in the neighborhood is NOT on a fixed price schedule and NOT on an auto fill programWhy was I rescheduled for an additional delivery less than a month later? I believe it was to gouge their customers at the higher winter pricesThey need to retrieve this gas, on my schedule, as their last driver damaged my lawn leaving the propertyI am also getting a statement from another neighbor that they called all winter with no response from AmeriGas, and then at the end of March, just as the weather was warming up, they mysteriously got gallons in their previously empty tankThey only use gas for their fireplace so AmeriGas doesn’t consider them important customers either

I had changed propane energy providers in December of In November of I spoke with different customer service representatives out of the *** office about how to have Energy North (a subsidiary of Amerigas) come and collect their gallon propane tank from my property once I switched providersThey informed me I would need to give them a week lead time to come and collect the tank once I had the new company's tank on siteI did just that in DecemberThe representative I spoke to in December told me they were busy for the holiday season and to call in JanuaryI called the first week of January and was informed that not only will I now have to pay a dollar pickup fee (all previous reps told me the pickup fee was dollars) but now they would not be able to even pick up their tank until "the spring"I asked them to clarify what that meant and I was not given an answerI have called them recently to pickup my tank and again I have been told that I a

I am a new customer to Kingston Propane/Amerigas as of November Since becoming a customer I have had huge problems with customer service and deliveryMy homes heat and hot water are both run off of propane and I have children, as well as my elderly parents living with me (my father who just had extensive next surgery)I have now had consecutive disputes regarding deliveries that I have made attempts to resolve between myself and the business only to be met with poor attitudes, no understanding and no resolutionFirst, I had requested a delivery by phone, was told 5-days, called day and was rudely told they are days out, waited until the day with still no delivery, called again, no explanation just that I would have to waitSecond, after dealing with the first bad experience I set up an online account to avoid having to speak with them, requested a delivery when tanks were at recommended levels (30%) was told informed 5-day wait period, called today after waiti

I have an issue with Amerigas propane providers in the Austin, TX areaMy neighborhood is monopolised by Amerigas and we can't get another source of gas energy although natural gas pipes run through our areaThey get to increase the bill including the meter reading service and the usage amount without producing evidenceMy March bill was $yet April's bill is $and May's bill is $The weather in April was warm and we did not need to turn the heating system, so we only used the water heater and the stove, the water heater partially rely on electricity as well A technician came out and just read the bill to me and how they come up with the estimate, he said my gate is always locked and they have to estimate sometimes, he seemed genuine and I don't blame him at allWhen I called the company, they disagreed and claim that all estimates are accurateHowever, it makes no sense and I insist that my bill is not $so I tried to terminate my contract with them but I c

My husband and I were customers with Coast Gas up until last February (2017) At that time we had run out of propane My husband went by and paid for delivery which they could not do that day because they had sent the delivery people home due to slow deliveries, but would be next day Next day turned into couple of more which turned in to week during very cold weather I called another company to get propane - tank and propane delivered very next day I went by the Coast office and signed for them to pick their tank up from our property (beginning of March 2017) The office person assured me that they would pick tank up and prorate the rental charge which had just been paid I called in July, Sept or Oct 2017, February and today to request pickup AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN Emailed company twice Today the girl tells me that they won't be picking up again until April? Will this be April 2019, 2020, 2021? There service is horrible and I would never recommend anyone by pro

Amerigas sent out workers twice who read our meter wrongNow we're being shut off for "nonpayment"Being low income, we are waiting for HEAP to come through and have paid what we could afford in the mean timeI called to see if we could have more time because we are approved for heap just waiting on voucherThey said we have to pay half today or we're getting shut offIf I had the money to pay half I would have no need for help from HEAPI explained we have a terminally disabled man and children living in this house and just need to have it put off three daysThere was no compromise, no discussion, no helpIn fact, they rudely stated that our bill is our problem and it's up to us to pay itWhich, again, is what HEAP is helping withIf we weren't low income we wouldn't qualify for HEAP: therefore, we can't afford to pay half of the billOverall, they have been rude, have no ability to work with you and if I could change providers right now I wouldSince, I can't we will have

*** Gas Coin Jeffersontown, Ky left a gallon LP gas tank in my front yard for months! Many calls have resulted in no action on their partI don't know what to do nextI've even visited their office in Jeffersontown, Ky; leaving with promises from the bossThat was months ago. Please help

Good Morning *** *** and thank you for respondingMy rejection to this response is to what was statedWhen I spoke to your office, It was confirmed that the reading is confirmed wrongOnce again, my stove does not use $worth of gasI have paid amerigas Upto $for a gas bill in one monthEven with a water heater, a house heater and a stove, this is excessiveAmerigas has got to accept that the overcharges is unacceptableI am not the only customer complaining about the readings and GESTIMATES from your companyBeing the only company who has the agreement with the developer to be the ONLY gas provider in the neighborhood gets consumers like us tied up to contracts we did not sign$15.93/ cubit ft of gas is way above the market priceWe are hardly home, heater not turned on, stove used at night adults kids, how is this possible? Water heater electric, central heating hardly ever used because our bill last year was so highYour company roll over credits to the next month and add it as amount due in the next monthI was given $ credit in a month as *** *** came back and said they found mistakes in the readingThe next month, my bill was $with unexplained adjustmentsThis does not include my *** light billThe last bill of was also a carry over from the previous month credit given so no credit was given until this last bill$was paid last monthI did not use $worth of cooking gas. The solution I was given: Free installation of an above ground tank, $1.99/ gallon gas filled; no yearly lease paymentNo one has responded in writing that this is what is being offeredI asked the associate to confirm what was discussed over the phone by email, no response at allI cannot accept this unless in writing as I would not like to go over this again a month after installationThen I called again yesterday and the lady tells me something elseThat my gas price can go upto $ or 7/ gallon ( Excessive/ market price she statedthe same $market price that other companies are not charging)So nothing has been confirmed in writingThe terms have not been confirmed nor made clear to me.Getting a tank is my other optionCompany has not made the terms clear.
