Good Morning *** *** and thank you for respondingMy rejection to this response is to what was statedWhen I spoke to your office, It was confirmed that the reading is confirmed wrongOnce again, my stove does not use $worth of gasI have paid amerigas Upto $for a gas bill in one monthEven with a water heater, a house heater and a stove, this is excessiveAmerigas has got to accept that the overcharges is unacceptableI am not the only customer complaining about the readings and GESTIMATES from your companyBeing the only company who has the agreement with the developer to be the ONLY gas provider in the neighborhood gets consumers like us tied up to contracts we did not sign$15.93/ cubit ft of gas is way above the market priceWe are hardly home, heater not turned on, stove used at night adults kids, how is this possible? Water heater electric, central heating hardly ever used because our bill last year was so highYour company roll over credits to the next month and add it as amount due in the next monthI was given $ credit in a month as *** *** came back and said they found mistakes in the readingThe next month, my bill was $with unexplained adjustmentsThis does not include my *** light billThe last bill of was also a carry over from the previous month credit given so no credit was given until this last bill$was paid last monthI did not use $worth of cooking gas. The solution I was given: Free installation of an above ground tank, $1.99/ gallon gas filled; no yearly lease paymentNo one has responded in writing that this is what is being offeredI asked the associate to confirm what was discussed over the phone by email, no response at allI cannot accept this unless in writing as I would not like to go over this again a month after installationThen I called again yesterday and the lady tells me something elseThat my gas price can go upto $ or 7/ gallon ( Excessive/ market price she statedthe same $market price that other companies are not charging)So nothing has been confirmed in writingThe terms have not been confirmed nor made clear to me.Getting a tank is my other optionCompany has not made the terms clear. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

Bill for propane received in March for which I was charged $per gallon Without notice my latest bill was for $per gallon I checked current price of propane with Clearwater Gas and was told it was $per gallon I attempted to discuss the exorbitant cost with Amerigas but they were uncooperative I am alleging that they are engaged in price gouging I have thus far also filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and with Consumer Protection and was also advised to file a complaint with Revdex.com
Received and email Septstating that I had a $balance due and I needed to log into my account to view/pay I sent them an email stating that I had not ordered any propane nor had any been delivered Their response (CRM:*** #***) on 9-4-stated that the bill was for annual tank rental I called the Birmingham office on 9-@ 4:and told them that we own our tank and do not owe any rental We have been in this house for over years and have NEVER received a bill or paid a rent for our tank Our builder (which I contacted) purchased the tank from an individual when the house was built(Acutally he purchased tanks because he built houses in to seperate locations) AmeriGas stated that they had taken over *** *** *** and apparently there was a lot of confusion in records I was told that the records were being reviewed We used *** *** *** had come to our house to fill our tank in and maybe one other time before that
I had
We have PROPANE heating, water heating
Last week we smelled GAS We suspected we were low in gas
We called AMERIGAS
They sent out a leak technicianHe found a "slow leak" in the stove He told us that it was actually too slow to qualify as a leak, but he thought it was the problem
We hired another company to come and fix the stoveThey found nothing wrong with the stoveNo Leak
Needles to say - We ran out of gas, because that was the original problem
Now we have gas and everything is working
AMERIGAS sent us a bill for $for the wrong diagnosisThis led to another bill which we have not seen yet to repair the unbroken stoveWe also had to suffer without gas and heat for a day, because AMERIGAS didn't realize we were out of gas even though we told them we thought we wereThe METER on the tank was broken! (It was repaired by the gas delivery driver
AMERIGAS should clearly eat the first billI did pay it because they got angry with me when I challenged the bi
years agowe bought our houseWe did not know anything about propaneI went to amerigas and asked them about filling up my tankWe already have the tank on our propertyThey told me that I had to sign paper work on the tank to rentFor the past years we have been paying a renter fee on this tankAfter talking to people around here they said that we probably on it They are scam artists taking a vantage of people that don't understand properly They told my husband they remember when they delivered the tank to my houseWhich was not the caseThey never delivered the tank The tank has been here for about years I do not think AmeriGas actually owns this tank I think the property does it's in our photos from our inspectionsBut they said they delivered a new tank to our house which is a lie
For years, never had a problem with Trenton GasSome years we prepaid to get the better rates, other years we called in the orderNo problems, Ever!
Amerigas took overconverted my contract to we deliver when we feel like itwent from competitive price to 25% higher than the other local companiesNEVER returned calls for parts to propane equipment that they sold meNEVER returned call about conversions of equipmentThe only time I got a call was from a different office because I dared to not give them a 5-star reviewA month passes, with me sending them e-mails, and they don't respond until I cancel payment for a $2000+ delivery WE NEVER ASKED FORThen they say that the phone number is answered by a Latino??? First, why would that be a problem, and two no Spanish speakers using the phone

Customer Advocate
I have called at least times over the last two weeks I wanted to ask for an explanation regarding two billing issues (an unexpected "enrollment fee" after being with them for plus years and the price, which is twice the going price in New Hampshire ,,$vs4.43) Calling the listed telephone number and selecting the customer service representative option, no one ever answers, as I have have been on hold for more than minutes almost every time I have also tried to leave a message with the operator times, where she indicated someone would call back No one ever calls back
On Friday March 16th 2018, my wife identified a payment error that caused our account to temporarily go into the red, as we have never missed a payment in our history of dealing with AMERIGAS since we purchased our home years agoWhat followed was absolutely the worst and most disgusting experience I have ever had in my life with customer serviceOur propane tank was empty and we had paid our bill in full at opening of business on March, talking with the receptionist at the *** *** locationShe told us she would put a rush order in and have a truck in the next day or two to fill us up at no additional chargeWe were completely out of propane and my wife and five year old child were home with no heatAfter waiting all day with a no show we called the emergency line because upon my return home from work we both noticed a strong odor of gas and they dispatched a technician to find out the issueOver the phone the technician Josh told us he had been in our area all

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is acceptable with regards to the billing issue However, my full satisfaction will not be met until such time as the company in question, as well as all propane providers in a centralized system providing fuel community wide, either by their own doing, or by way of modification of the legal code involved, adhere to the same regulation and stipulations as expected of any other critical utility provider The practice of switching off or locking out service that is utilized for heating in times of severe cold shows a disregard for the people with whom they conduct business
As it stands, the matter is closed.
Regards,
*** ***
