Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is acceptable with regards to the billing issue However, my full satisfaction will not be met until such time as the company in question, as well as all propane providers in a centralized system providing fuel community wide, either by their own doing, or by way of modification of the legal code involved, adhere to the same regulation and stipulations as expected of any other critical utility provider The practice of switching off or locking out service that is utilized for heating in times of severe cold shows a disregard for the people with whom they conduct business
As it stands, the matter is closed.

We have PROPANE heating, water heating
Last week we smelled GAS We suspected we were low in gas
We called AMERIGAS
They sent out a leak technicianHe found a "slow leak" in the stove He told us that it was actually too slow to qualify as a leak, but he thought it was the problem
We hired another company to come and fix the stoveThey found nothing wrong with the stoveNo Leak
Needles to say - We ran out of gas, because that was the original problem
Now we have gas and everything is working
AMERIGAS sent us a bill for $for the wrong diagnosisThis led to another bill which we have not seen yet to repair the unbroken stoveWe also had to suffer without gas and heat for a day, because AMERIGAS didn't realize we were out of gas even though we told them we thought we wereThe METER on the tank was broken! (It was repaired by the gas delivery driver
AMERIGAS should clearly eat the first billI did pay it because they got angry with me when I challenged the bi

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: For the sake of being polite, I will refer to AmeriGas's response as odditiesIn their first statement, when I called the first time as to why the gas was delivered without my requesting it she looked it up and said that we were in fact set up as a will call and did not know why the delivery was madeThe also stated in their response that the tank was empty the account was terminated which would have been October 12that which time they said they would go out the next day and read the gauge and see if the new owner would like to purchase the gas remaining in the tank and keep them on as the gas supplierIf not they would retrieve the gaspull the tank and send me a refund minus the charge for the gas recovery and also verified the address to send the refund toI also find it "Odd" that on the afternoon prior to the closing on the house sale which would have been the 11th of October, the realtor read the tank reading and documented as 75%So in other words this 75% was used up in four days of warm October days? I also find it "odd" that just before calling Amerigas again on the 22ndof October, I called the new owner and ask if he had talked to Amerigas and signed up with themHe said that he had not heard from them and that with painting and lawn work had not even thought about propane gasNow mind you that this was days after the new owner took over and this was the time span that Amerigas stated they had filled the empty tank.??? After talking to him I called Amerigas again to see what was going on and they said that as of yet they had not gotten a hold of the new owner or read the tank yet and that they would do so in the next couple of days for sureAll of the above seems very "odd" to me but it should be very easy for Amerigas to verify all of their statements by producing a copy of the delivery slip to this address and date delivered along with proof of payment by the new ownerI can see no advantage to the Realtor or the new owner to have lied to me but by providing me with the documents I requested above would prove me wrong and I would drop the complaint

On Friday March 16th 2018, my wife identified a payment error that caused our account to temporarily go into the red, as we have never missed a payment in our history of dealing with AMERIGAS since we purchased our home years agoWhat followed was absolutely the worst and most disgusting experience I have ever had in my life with customer serviceOur propane tank was empty and we had paid our bill in full at opening of business on March, talking with the receptionist at the *** *** locationShe told us she would put a rush order in and have a truck in the next day or two to fill us up at no additional chargeWe were completely out of propane and my wife and five year old child were home with no heatAfter waiting all day with a no show we called the emergency line because upon my return home from work we both noticed a strong odor of gas and they dispatched a technician to find out the issueOver the phone the technician Josh told us he had been in our area all

Received and email Septstating that I had a $balance due and I needed to log into my account to view/pay I sent them an email stating that I had not ordered any propane nor had any been delivered Their response (CRM:*** #***) on 9-4-stated that the bill was for annual tank rental I called the Birmingham office on 9-@ 4:and told them that we own our tank and do not owe any rental We have been in this house for over years and have NEVER received a bill or paid a rent for our tank Our builder (which I contacted) purchased the tank from an individual when the house was built(Acutally he purchased tanks because he built houses in to seperate locations) AmeriGas stated that they had taken over *** *** *** and apparently there was a lot of confusion in records I was told that the records were being reviewed We used *** *** *** had come to our house to fill our tank in and maybe one other time before that
I had

For years, never had a problem with Trenton GasSome years we prepaid to get the better rates, other years we called in the orderNo problems, Ever!
Amerigas took overconverted my contract to we deliver when we feel like itwent from competitive price to 25% higher than the other local companiesNEVER returned calls for parts to propane equipment that they sold meNEVER returned call about conversions of equipmentThe only time I got a call was from a different office because I dared to not give them a 5-star reviewA month passes, with me sending them e-mails, and they don't respond until I cancel payment for a $2000+ delivery WE NEVER ASKED FORThen they say that the phone number is answered by a Latino??? First, why would that be a problem, and two no Spanish speakers using the phone

I have called at least times over the last two weeks I wanted to ask for an explanation regarding two billing issues (an unexpected "enrollment fee" after being with them for plus years and the price, which is twice the going price in New Hampshire ,,$vs4.43) Calling the listed telephone number and selecting the customer service representative option, no one ever answers, as I have have been on hold for more than minutes almost every time I have also tried to leave a message with the operator times, where she indicated someone would call back No one ever calls back

Bill for propane received in March for which I was charged $per gallon Without notice my latest bill was for $per gallon I checked current price of propane with Clearwater Gas and was told it was $per gallon I attempted to discuss the exorbitant cost with Amerigas but they were uncooperative I am alleging that they are engaged in price gouging I have thus far also filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and with Consumer Protection and was also advised to file a complaint with Revdex.com
