I have been an auto-fill customer with Amerigas for about 12-yearsThey come and check my tank periodically and fill if neededMy tank was filled in Dec and when I received the bill, they had charged me $4.85/gallonThe local rate for propane is around $to $at the time I was billedI called other local propane companies to get pricesI called and spoke to Nancy (who was quite rude) and asked to speak to the manager at the local office and was told it was the end of the month and he would call me back in a few daysI waited and the next day I called the corporate office and spoke to Sheila who said a manager would call back in 3-business daysNeither manager ever called backNancy from the local office finally called just to say they adjusted my bill to $3.39/gallonThey also charged me a tank rental fee of $because I did not use enough propane by Dec However, they did not come out to fill it until Dec knowing the cutoff was the 1stThey put g

After having this propane company for over years they changed to Amerigas and their services went downhill Prices went up and we weren't getting deliveries when we should have September 20th we switched to another local propane supplier who came out and emptied the Amerigas tanks and installed their own Since then we have called times in the last 1/months to have Amerigas come pick up their empty tanks which are sitting in the driveway Each time we call the same girl answers who apparently thinks the situation is funny and "promises" to put in a service order for the pick up I just got off the phone with the national office who says they will contact the local provider to have the tanks picked up and will have a manager call me, we shall see
I understand that they can take up to months to pick up the tanks and that it's not a priority but we paid our bills on time for every delivery and never carried over a balance for over years Not to mention they charge

I am being grossly overcharged for their productI called and told them to NOT deliver any more propane(I was going to change suppliers)Two days later I got another delivery for overpriced propane (per gallon over competition and over the previous delivery)I tried to call and ask why and they aren’t answering the phone

June 15, approximately pmWe had a scheduled installation of propane gas lines - an addition to an existing gallon tankLines were to be installed about feet for a propane stove addition and an additional feet for a propane dryer installationThis was clearly understood by AmeriGasTwo installers arrived, one in AmeriGas uniform, the other in a T-shirt and jeansThe agent in the T-shirt asked me what racial extraction I was - I thought this was an inappropriate questionThe uniformed agent told me he had no Floor Joist Hangers to install the extension pipesHe asked me how long I was going to be in Wilkesboro and when was I leaving for Hawaii ?? The agent in the T-shirt asked me for my house keys and that they would return after I was gone to install the linesI told him it was absolutely out of the questionI became very suspicious that I was asked for my racial extraction and for my house keysI don't believe this is appropriate conductThey left making some vague comments about when they could returnMY WIFE AND I ARE VERY CONCERNED THAT THERE MAY BE A FUTURE ATTEMPT TO ROB OUR HOME WHEN WE ARE GONETHIS IS A VACATION HOME FOR US

AmeriGas consistently overcharges me for monthly payment plansLast month I called and was told to continue paying the higher amountMrG*** emailed me and asked if I could pay 35$ per monthI paid $last month
I have received a bill saying I was removed from the monthly payment plan, billed at a higher rate, charged $termination fee AND a $late fee
I have been a customer of AmeriGas for several years and have always paid my bill Their monthly payment is always too high when one looks my historical use
