side of the story regarding complaints filed against our company. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Mr*** for the poor experience in pursuit of his Big Deal refundAccording to our records, Mr*** contacted us on 3/30/to ask for a refund on his $worth of deal purchases, which were made on 2/26/All Angie’s List eCommerce purchases have a Day Refund Guarantee. All members must request a refund within days of purchaseMr*** recently contacted us again on 9/16/to request a refund outside of days again. I have reviewed Mr***’s specific refund request and deemed that an exception can be granted due to the scheduling issues Mr*** experienced with the service provider. I have processed Mr***’s refund at this time. I would also like Mr*** to know that I have followed up with the representative that he interacted with most recently to provide coaching and further training to assure better experiences when contacting Angie’s List in the future I find it regrettable that we left Mr*** feeling he had no recourse but to contact the Revdex.comWe strive to provide top-notch service to our members Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. Kind regards, Jesse M*** Angie’s List

***, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to respond to complaints against our
company On 3/29/2016, Mr*** started to advertise with Angie’s List for one year per an electronically signed agreement. We require each prospective advertiser to sign a contract outlining the services Angie’s List will render, the relevant categories and the ad rate a service provider must pay for these servicesEach contract includes a standard cancellation fee of 35% of the remaining balance of the agreement. In light of any frustration or misunderstanding during the sales process, Angie’s List will consider Mr***’s contract to be terminated. We are currently in the processing of cancelling the contract and removing Mr***’s company from our web advertisements. We have also agreed to waive the 35% early termination fee and issue refunds for the charges on 4/2/2016, 5/2/2016, 8/2/2016, and 9/2/ We strive to provide top notch customer service, and we regret that Mr*** felt that he had no recourse but to turn to the Revdex.com Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. Kind regards, Jesse M*** Angie’s List

complaints filed against our company. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Mr*** for any confusion regarding his membership It appears that someone else in Mr***’s household has signed up for a membership, which was renewed for $16.66. I have called and left Mr*** a voicemail requesting a call back to assist with Mr***’s request Angie’s List seeks to offer top-notch customer service. I apologize that we left Mr*** feeling that he had no other option than to contact the Revdex.com Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. complaints filed against our company. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Ms*** for any frustration this process has causedAngie Cash was a program created so Angie's List members can take advantage of personaloffers while earning rewardsThis is our way of saying thank-you for taking advantage of varying aspects of a membership. Ms*** did contact Angie’s List at the end of March regarding the trouble she was having with the fuel card. A supervisor ensured that the Angie Cash was made available to her and it appears she has completed the process to receive the gas card. I am so sorry she has still not received it. I will be addressing this with the team that handles the gas cards and I am putting aphysical gas card in the mail today to Ms***. I find it regrettable that we left Ms*** feeling she had no recourse but to contact the Revdex.com. After investigating this matter, we have determined that the sales process was handled properly and there was no misrepresentation or overselling of the advertising productWithout investigating whether the records Ms*** is requesting even exist, Angie’s List produces its business records only pursuant to a validly served court subpoena. February 21, Indianapolis Revdex.com EWashington Street Indianapolis, IN Attn*** *** Re: Complaint Case # *** ***, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to clarify anything that might not have been addressed previously Angie’s List would like to thank Mr*** for the additional information he provided in his response. After further review of Mr***’s advertising contract, it became apparent that Mr*** was also running a 2/page advertisement in the Angie’s List monthly magazine. It is for this advertisement that Mr*** is being invoiced. I have attached a copy of Mr***’s most recent invoice. Mr*** requested to cancel his advertisement after the deadline had passed for the monthly magazine, which resulted in Mr*** being billed for the advertisement that ran in the monthly magazine Mr*** can resolve this debt with the collections team here at Angie’s List. If this is not resolved in a timely manner, the debt will be sent to a third party collections company We strive to provide top notch customer service to members and service providers alike and regret that the consumer was disappointed with his experience with Angie’s List Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information. company I apologize for my delay in responding to the Revdex.com about this complaint.I first wanted to apologize to Ms*** for any frustration she has experienced during the sale of and cancellation of her advertisement with Angie’s List.On 6/3/2016, Ms*** electronically agreed to advertise with Angie’s List for one year per the attached agreement We require each prospective advertiser to sign a contract outlining the services Angie’s List will render, the relevant categories and the ad rate a service provider must pay for these servicesEach contract includes a standard cancellation fee of 35% of the remaining balance of the agreement We have reviewed our sales process and customer service with Ms***, and we have agreed to waive our standard Early Termination Fee for the contract in light of any miscommunication in the sales process as well as the customer service issues mentionedWe are also retroactively cancelling the advertising agreement to 6/28/and a refund will be issued for the payment after this date.In short, I sincerely apologize that this customer is disappointed with their experience with Angie’s ListWe strive to provide top-notch customer service, and would welcome another chance to work with Ms***’ business. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Once again the statements made by Angie's List contain inaccuracies:1) The $second check is NOT a 10% guarantee payment, but rather a prorated refund of a second city Angie's List subscription that is not included as part of this complaintDoes anyone really believe given how strongly Angie's List refuses to honor their 110% guarantee that they would be unable to correctly calculate the extra 10% and send me "a little bit more than 10%"?2) You should stop apologizing because it is obvious that it is not sincere Your behavior would not be like this, if you were truly sorry. To date I have not received an additional check, therefore I am still requesting Angie's List honor their 110% refund guarantee of $ ($+ $- $11.60)

December 1, 2015Indianapolis Revdex.comEWashington StreetIndianapolis, IN 46202Attn*** ***Re: Complaint Case # ***,Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to tell our side of the story regarding complaints brought against our
company. As you may know, Angie’s List allows consumers to post comments regarding experiences they have had with area companies Angie’s List is a passive conduit for these comments, meaning the content is wholly supplied by our consumer members Because other consumers rely on the statements made by each member, we require each and every member to sign the following statement before submitting a report:* I confirm that the information contained in this Service Evaluation Form (i) is true and accurate and (ii) represents my actual first-hand experience, or experience which I am authorized to discussI acknowledge and understand that Angie's List is relying upon the accuracy of the information in order to serve other membersI confirm that I do not work for, am not in competition with, or am not in any way related to the service provider in this report.Assuming that our members are willing to attest to the truthfulness of each report, we allow positive and negative reports to be submitted to our forum We do not remove reports at the request of service providers Rather, we allow each service provider to respond to any reports they receive, to share their point of view. Specifically, Angie’s List does not act in the capacity of judge or juryRather we are a conduit through which information is allowed to passThus, the court of public opinion is able to decide which argument has merit. In this instance, the member who wrote his review did find the email in question in his “spam” folder, and voluntarily reached out to Angie’s List to ask that his review be deleted As a result, we have removed the review at the member’s request I find it regrettable that we left Mr*** feeling no other recourse than to complain to the Revdex.comHowever, we believe that Angie’s List has followed appropriate procedures meant to ensure we stay as neutral as possible We abide by the same rules of neutrality regardless of whether and how much a company spends in advertising; this is the only way we can provide a fair and neutral playing field. Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaint, and please let me know if we can provide any further information.Kind regards,Jesse B***Angie’s List

complaints filed against our company. I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Ms*** for the difficulties in pursuit of her Big Deal refundAccording to our records, Ms*** contacted us on 6/1/to ask for a refund of her purchase, which was made on 2/22/All Angie’s List eCommerce purchases have a Day Refund Guarantee that only applies if no work has been performed. All members must request a refund within days of purchase I have reviewed Ms***’s specific refund request and deemed that an exception can be granted since the service provider missed their scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, Ms*** has provided Angie’s List with conflicting information regarding her refund request. I have contacted the company she made her purchase with and sent Ms*** an email to gather the additional information necessary to assist Ms***. The phone number Ms*** provided in her Revdex.com complaint only elicits an error message when I attempted to call her. Moving forward, Angie’s List will be working with Ms*** directly to resolve her refund request I find it regrettable that we left Ms*** feeling she had no recourse but to contact the Revdex.com, however Ms*** contacted the Revdex.com prior to allowing Angie’s List to assist herWe strive to provide top-notch service to our members Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information.
