Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to meI am shocked though they state I didn't use other means to sort this out even I contacted them several times and had single response weeks later and since PayPal closed my case due to sellers non responsiveness I had no other choice but contact Revdex.com, and only after I emailed copy of my complaint message to Angie's List then they reacted and issued refund.Excellent job, thank you for your help! February 20, Indianapolis Revdex.com EWashington Street Indianapolis, IN Attn [redacted] Re: Complaint Case # [redacted] ***, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to give our side of the story regarding complaints filed against our company I’d like to start by offering a sincere apology to Ms [redacted] for any frustration or confusion regarding her membership Ms [redacted] has been a member of Angie’s List since at least During the years between now and when she first signed up, she has utilized our automatic renewal feature for some years, and chose to manually renew her membership during other yearsThough our membership agreement does advise that our default setting for memberships involves automatic renewal, we are always happy to change any member’s billing status upon request I have reached out personally to Ms [redacted] via phone and email to offer to set her account’s billing up however she likesWe even have a free Green membership available if she prefers to change to that optionI am especially concerned by Ms [redacted] ’s mention of emailing us with no response, as I do not see records of those emails from our endI would love to work directly with her to investigate these and be sure we responded to any and all inquiries Ms [redacted] last renewed her membership in August of Though we do not normally offer refunds for renewals after days from the renewal, I have made an exception and issued a refund of her most recent renewalI have also left her account active through her expiration date next August I find it regrettable that we left Ms [redacted] feeling she had no recourse but to contact the Revdex.comWe strive to provide top-notch service to our membersI would welcome Ms [redacted] to continue to contact me directly so that I can continue assisting her Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information Kind regards, Jesse B [redacted] Angie’s List

April 8, Indianapolis Revdex.comEWashington StreetIndianapolis, IN 46202Attn [redacted] Re: Complaint Case # [redacted] ***, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to clarify anything that might not have been addressed previously On 1/20/2015, Mr [redacted] agreed to advertise with Angie’s List for one year per the previously attached agreement We require each prospective advertiser to sign a contract outlining the services Angie’s List will render, the relevant categories and the ad rate a service provider must pay for these servicesEach contract includes a standard cancellation fee of 35% of the remaining balance of the agreement Mr [redacted] was in communication with representatives discussing cancellation of his advertisingAfter investigating this matter, we determined that a refund for two weeks of advertising would be issued to Mr [redacted] The refund was deducted from Mr [redacted] ’s company’s cancellation fee, reducing the cancellation fee balance to $As we previously stated, Mr [redacted] ’s company is responsible for this remaining balanceThat balance has been sent to the collections agency we work with, [redacted] , which Mr [redacted] must contact directly to pay the balance owedTheir phone number is 877- [redacted] We strive to provide top notch customer service to members and service providers alike and regret that a consumer was disappointed with his experience with Angie’s ListWe delivered to the extent of our contractAngie’s List and Mr [redacted] ’s company have a binding agreement, and just as we have acted in accordance with our obligations, so must Mr [redacted] No additional refund will be given Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information Kind regards, [redacted] Angie’s List

July 2, 2015Indianapolis Revdex.comEWashington StreetIndianapolis, IN 46202Attn [redacted] Re: Complaint Case # [redacted] ,Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to respond to complaints against our company.I apologize for the frustration this process has caused Mr [redacted] Angie’s List allows consumers to post comments regarding experiences they have had with area companies Angie’s List is a passive conduit for these comments, meaning the content is wholly supplied by our consumer members Members are required to attest to the review confirmation statement before submitting each review Without that unique attestation accompanying a review, it cannot be submitted to the website Assuming that our members are willing to attest to the truthfulness of each report, we allow positive and negative reports to be submitted to our forum We do have processes in place if a company notifies us that they do not recognize the name and address of a member associated with a review on their company We will reach out to the member that submitted the review in an attempt to confirm that review at the request of the service provider We did reach out to the reporting member on 6/25/at Mr [redacted] ’s request The member confirmed to us that their review was intentional, and verified the contact information for Mr [redacted] ’s business as matching the description of the company the member intended to review In light of this, we will not be removing the review in questionI find it regrettable that we left Ms [redacted] feeling no other recourse than to complain to the Revdex.comMr [redacted] is welcome to avail himself of several methods Angie’s List offers to service providers for free to help members hear from their satisfied client base Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaint, and please let me know if we can provide any further information.Kind regards,Jesse B***Angie’s List

August 11, Indianapolis Revdex.com EWashington Street Indianapolis, IN Attn [redacted] Re: Complaint Case # [redacted] ***, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to respond to complaints against our company On 4/28/2016, Mr [redacted] agreed to advertise with Angie’s List for six months We require each prospective advertiser to sign a contract outlining the services Angie’s List will render, the relevant categories and the ad rate a service provider must pay for these servicesEach contract includes a standard cancellation fee of 35% of the remaining balance of the agreement Mr [redacted] has been in contact with Angie’s List for several months expressing his frustrations over the transition to our new website The complaint that Mr [redacted] has expressed with our eCommerce program is completely separate and voluntary from our advertising program and is not a requirement of the contract Mr [redacted] signed for his advertisement with Angie’s List Upon investigation into Mr***’s advertising, it was determined that there were no issues with Mr***’s advertising during the transition to our new website, and Mr***’s eCommerce offers were ran accordingly At this point, Mr [redacted] has not paid for the past months of services rendered and has been sent to the collections agency Angie’s List uses to recover funds not paid for services rendered Our internal collections team has proactively cancelled Mr***’s advertising contract and placed a notice on his profile for ‘Non-Payment of Advertising’ Mr [redacted] will be responsible for paying for the months of services rendered that were not paid for and the 35% early termination fee associated with his contract In short, I sincerely apologize that this customer is disappointed with their experience with Angie’s ListWe strive to provide top-notch customer service We would love the chance to earn back Mr***’s trust in the future and work with them again Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information Kind regards, Jesse B [redacted] Angie’s List

February 3, Indianapolis Revdex.com EWashington Street Indianapolis, IN Attn [redacted] Re: Complaint Case # [redacted] ***, Thank you for bringing this complaint response rejection to our attentionWe appreciate the opportunity to respond to complaints against our company I would like to again start by offering a sincere apology to Ms [redacted] for any confusion regarding her membership Ms [redacted] did join Angie’s List on 5/9/ I have confirmed that the credit card used for the original membership purchase and all subsequent automatic renewals of her membership were listed in her name Ms [redacted] has also left reviews on companies she has used dating back to June 24, Ms [redacted] agreed to automatic renewal on her account when she joined and had been automatically renewing her membership for a decade Ms [redacted] requested to receive an email notification prior to each automatic renewal Angie’s List sends out the email notification roughly days prior to the automatic renewal of her membership Ms [redacted] emailed Angie’s List last on 3/30/to request the cancellation and refund of her membership Ms [redacted] ’s account has been cancelled and refunded back to the original form of payment at this time Since Ms [redacted] indicated that her card was compromised and a new card was issued by her bank, there should be no issues with refund being routed back to the same account under her new card If Ms [redacted] has any issues locating the funds for her refund, she will need to contact her financial institution Ms [redacted] is certainly entitled to her opinions of Angie’s List, however I would like to point out that the Fair Price Guarantee and Service Quality Guarantee were offered to Angie’s List members as benefit All Big Deals are governed by contracts with exact parameters for the service being offered If a company is not honoring the offer as written, it would not qualify for assistance through the Fair Price or Service Quality Guarantee The details and terms and conditions for these programs are available on the Angie’s List website Angie’s List is sorry to see such a tenured customer go Ms [redacted] can keep in mind that Angie’s List does offer a new membership that is free that can be accessed online Thanks again for the opportunity to respond to this complaintPlease let me know if we can provide any further information Kind regards, Jesse M [redacted] Angie’s List

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Unfortunatly, I do not appear to be getting what we agreed to Angie's list said that they would provide greater visability by"dropping their paywall" which I thought to mean that anyone coming from Google would be able to search and use Angie's list without signing up This different is large because Google cannot scan and index the categories and Google treats sites differently that have a wall up before their data.I did not sign a contract stating that there is a 35% cancellation fee that I know of and Angie's list did not provide me with what I thought I was getting Angie's list is a scam and a fraud and I will not be paying anything in the future Regards, [redacted] ***
