Complaint Information: The reason why Mr [redacted] deal wasn't finalized by the bank is because, once the bank received the contract that Mr. [redacted] has signed and the credit information that Mr. [redacted] provided the bank conducted their own investigation and did not feel comfortable granting Mr. [redacted] with an automobile loan. No other information was provided to Apple Auto Wholesalers regarding the return of his contract. At that time, the Apple Auto finance team immediately got an new approval for Mr. [redacted] with a different bank with new terms and conditions at which Mr. [redacted] did not accept. This left Apple Auto with no choice but to null and void the entire transaction and offer Mr. [redacted] his trade back to him. Upon Mr. [redacted] receiving his trade back, his spoiler had fallen off due to extreme rust and multiple attempts to repair. Mr [redacted] trade was in such a poor condition and very old upon Apple Auto receiving it. .Apple Auto has pictures of how rotten and rusted out the screws were that were supposed to support Mr [redacted] spoiler. Apple Auto had nothing to do with the spoiler falling off, again due to extreme rust and such poor condition that the vehicle and the rusted out stripped and broken mounts on the back of his vehicle where the spoiler was supposed to be were in prior to Apple Auto even taking the vehicle in on trade. Also, Mr. [redacted] is currently in possession of one of Apple Auto's Dealer Plates. If we do not have thE dealer plate back in our possession at the dealership by the end of business day today, with his proof of Mr [redacted] emissions for his trade . Apple Auto will have no choice but to report this plate as stolen. We have made multiple attempts to try and reach Mr. [redacted] regarding this matter. Mr. [redacted] does not respond. regards, Apple Auto Wholesaler's Management team ,

I am rejecting this response because:
If the business checked their paper work, they should find an invoice from costar financial, with the payoff amount. What financial institution would give some one a loan when they are already delinquent on an existing loan
The car was damaged when I picked it up, I was told I had to wait while they clean the car, did not happen. I was told if needed the tires would be replaced, was not done. They could.not even put the front license plate bracket on and get the front plate on straight. I have pictures. I would expect them to deny everything, From what I have read on the Revdex.com website this has happened before. Customer beware they are just out to make money and theif customer service is the worst in the industry.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

To whom it may concern:

We really appreciate the information provided. If our customer chooses not to finance the car with the only bank that would help her in this situation. We can only wish her the best of luck on her Search for a car and a finance institution that would offer LOWER fees.
Best Regards

I am rejecting this response because:
I don't understand how they could be so ignorant I've been trying to get my money back over the course of the last year.  I have documented calls of over 16-times requesting Apple Auto to refund my deposit.    They just keep giving me the brush off telling me its in the process and then nothing happens.  I was asked to drive 1-hr bring my bank statement showing the transaction which I did, Apple Auto took the papers and told me they would take care of it and of course I waited and waited and nothing was done.  Attached is the transaction showing the debit from my bank account from Apple auto.  My next step is small claims court which I will also attach business expenses of time trying to collect this debt along with interest this will more then double the original $500.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We have indeed replaced the tires at NO CHARGE even after our warranty had expired As a GOOD WILL gesture. To this date, there are  no records of any maintenance done here at the dealership whatsoever. Oil changes, Batteries Check ups, Tire Rotations, Tune Ups or any factory recommended services. Not sure where and when this services have been completed. Its been  almost a year since you purchase this car  and I would like to know how many miles are on this vehicle currently.
I am not sure what the customer is looking for on this complaint, However, I would like to offer one  Service Appointment and a winter tune up free at cost.

They are COMPLETE LIARS at Apple Auto. I went to them about a year ago to purchase my [redacted]. It was a great price and the car seemed to be in great condition (I had my mechanic check it out before I purchased the car). They promised a detail of the entire interior and exterior of the car which never happened, even when I brought it back a second time. They "fixed" the dome light which went out a week after the "fix." They never gave me new windshield wipers. They replaced the tires with "new" ones that need to be replaced again before even a year of ownership (3 months of which the car did not get driven at all dude to an ankle injury). These are all small potatoes in comparison to the fact that I was sold a "3-year manufacturer bumper to bumper warranty." A couple of weeks into owning the car it was making a strange sound and when I called into Apple Auto the guy who answered the phone told me to go anywhere for the repair because of the warranty that I had purchased. When I brought the car to the [redacted] dealership closer to my house they told me I had a limited power-train warranty and that the repairs needed (suspension belt and another thing I can't remember) were not covered and would cost me $1800. When I called Apple Auto to inquire about this the manager told me that I could bring the car into them and the repairs would be covered no charge and the warranty was a paperwork error made by them. I brought the car in to them and told them I wanted the "paperwork error" to be fixed by the time I came to pick the car up. When I went to pick the car up on the day they told me it would be ready I arrived at the dealership to one guy on the sales floor and not a soul in the auto body shop with my car up on the lift and nothing done to repair it after 3 days... The guy in the sales area basically told me that all of his loaners were out with the employees of the dealership and that he couldn't do anything to help me. So I had to go back the next evening to pick up my car and when I arrived the new paperwork for the warranty that I had purchased was "locked in the manager's desk" and he was conveniently not there. They are horrible liars and assume that I am stupid. I have resolved to the fact that I was sold a piece of useless paper and that I'll never receive the actual warranty that I purchased. I also never want to step foot in their dealership again and would advise that EVERYONE keep a good distance from them.

Dear [redacted]
Thank you for your interest on buying a car from our locations. After carefully reviewing your file. We are working with your Credit card /Dbit card company reverse your charge. There are 2 reasons why you have not received your refund as of Aug 24th.  First, Once...

you notify your credit card company of a dispute this matter is now in the hands of the credit card company.  Apple Auto agrees to not Re-dispute the charge all together. As soon as we hear from the bank Apple Auto will agree not Re Dispute the charge. Second, it will take five to seven business days to get back to your card being its a debit card.
Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business and best of luck. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us at anytime.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have spoken with the business. Everything has been worked out, so far.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: at the time I spoke with the dealer it seemed this issue would have been resolved with one trip to the [redacted] which I made that day, however, it at the end, took four trips and two full days off from work.  not to mention, I had, from sept 13,2013-sept 5, 2014 been driving an unregistered vehicle.  [redacted] assured me I was not, however when I was pulled over by the police the day after I spoke to [redacted] regarding this, I was indeed driving an unregistered vehicle which I was told would be impounded.  this entire situation is completely unacceptable.  [redacted] claims that they provided a new registration to me 'at no cost' however, at the time of purchase I was clear that I wanted my plates transferred, which the salesman physically removed the plates from my old vehicle and put them on the new, and let me drive home, and for the past 12 months, this way.  the 'new registration' that [redacted] refers to, was not issued until decemeber of 2014, which is three months after I purchased the vehicle.
this situation, not only put myself and my family at risk, it cost me two days of lost wages at work, in addition to lost income from my farm, which a road legal pickup truck is vital for.  also, being detained by the police in front of a business that work with is both unprofessional and embarassing, along with unacceptable, and never would have happened if the truck was registered, which was the responsibility of the dealer.  as stated in my first contact, I am requesting a refund of the $599 in fees that I paid.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We are not going to go back n fourth with [redacted] like children. Clearly shows his unprofessionalism and makes us question his credibility. [redacted] knew everything about the vehicle HE CHOSE to purchase and again left Apple Auto Very Happy. Apple Auto will not continue to respond to such ridiculous, fraudulent allegations. We wish [redacted] all the best and Apple Auto will always be here to continue to make our customers happy and take care of all their vehicle needs!

I am rejecting this response because:  the frame damage to the car that the dealer said doesn't exist is there.
Please give me a call if you have any questions.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
There is no truth in their version rather than deviating and diluting the matter. I can prove to the DMV and small claims court. I am almost ready to file a complaint to DMV, but before complaining, I am giving fair chance to them to avoid the complications. I don't want to spoil their name and fame in the industry.
I can satisfy if they give $1500.00 in cash or check (no service credit) to me. I paid $2500.00, I never use this warranty at all. I am ready to sacrifice $1000. Otherwise I don't have any option but to proceed to DMV with the support of evidences and proofs.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint Information: To whom it may concern: Thank you so much for the opportunity to earn your business. Due to [redacted]'s Credit being so bad and our policy to have a 100% credit approval here at Apple Auto. After researching, we found the ONLY bank willing to take a chance on [redacted] is [redacted]. [redacted] was our last resort to try and help [redacted] rebuild her credit. Unfortunately, this bank comes with high APR's and Acquisition Fee's, which are fee's required by the bank and has nothing to do with Apple Auto Wholesalers. We have NO control over the bank fee's and rates. Especially with high risk borrower's like Miss [redacted]. We do hope that [redacted] finds a financial institution that will provide her with a loan that meets the terms and conditions she feel's comfortable with. If [redacted] chooses to do business with us in the future our doors are always open and we would be happy to help her any way that we can. We wish her the best of luck. Review: I went with my son to look for his first car came upon Apple Auto Wholesalers in [redacted]. We tested out a few cars and put a deposit on one contingent on my sons grandfather pitching in on the car. The car was a nice all wheel drive [redacted]. I put a $500 deposit on the [redacted] it was a Sunday. When we went home we talked to my son's grandfather about the car so we told him about it. He looked it up on the internet and found out that the small [redacted] was a special WRX model and over 300HP. This was not suitable for my son 16yrs old first car. I called them first thing Monday morning and canceled the contract. I talked to Apple business department and they said they would refund on my account within 5-business days. I waited and no refund. I called back spoke to Felipe who assured me that they would refund me my $500 and it will take a bit longer and to wait another week. Another week passed and no refund. I called again and asked if a manager would call me back and gave my number. I waited another week and no call. I called again and spoke to Pedro he assured me that he would take care of it personally and to give him a week and he would take care of it. 2-weeks passed and I still did not get my refund. I called back and spoke to Pedro and he said to come down with my bank information showing the transaction. I drove the 1hr drive to Apple Auto and took all my paperwork and showed it to Pedro and he took it and said he would take care of it and get it straightened out. He went into the back with my banking account information and said his accounting guys would have to handle it in the morning. Two more days passed tried to call Pedro he was out of the office. Tried to talk to accounting and was hung up on twice. Finally I called and got a hold of Pedro and he has the contract and the information that I put down $500 but the accounting system was not a real accounting system and his guys would have to look into it a bit longer. I got frustrated called the State of CT and got the owners phone number and called him directly. He said to send him the information on the transaction which I did and I have heard nothing. Now time has gone by I spent way to much time trying to get my $500 back its incredible. My next step is small claims court.Desired Settlement: I want a check sent to me in the amount of my original deposit $500.

Response:

To Whom it May Concern: Apple Auto is very confused to this complaint being the Alleged Customer waited almost a Year and a half and then all of a sudden submits a complaint all this time later?? If someone supposedly had $500 dollars of mine I wouldn't be waiting OVER A YEAR to say something about it. Doesn't make the complaint sound very credible. Apple Auto does not keep anybody's money that does not purchase a vehicle with us. Not sure is Mr., [redacted] has the correct dealership. Upon researching this complaint Apple Auto has no records of a [redacted] leaving any deposit in house over a year and a half ago in 2014! We will need more details regarding the alleged deposit. Possibly a different name? Vin number to the vehicle? Receipt with purchase date and amount on it, stating from Apple Auto Wholesaler's. Thank you,Apple Auto Management

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

Review: My son and I drove an hour and a half to look at a 2002 [redacted] Ram truck for sale at Apple Automotive, LLC [redacted]. The sales rep [redacted] said the truck was ready to go. After the test drive we purchased it. We also signed a worthless warranty. We drove the trucK right to our mechanic in **. THE MECHANIC SAID THE TRUCK SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ON THE ROAD IT'S TOO DANGEROUS. He looked it over thoroughly and said it would cost $3,500 to make it road worthy. He said do not drive the truck. We had the truck towed back to Apple Automotive, LLC via AAA. The vehicle was up at there facility from August 24 through September 11. During that period some repairs were made but when the vehicle was returned it still leaked transmission fluid all over the driveway, skidded all over the road due to rotted bald tires, second gear does not work etc. An itemized list of needed repairs was given to Apples service department; however, very little was done if anything during the 3 weeks it was at Apple Automotive. The repairs needed were major. This truck was a LETHAL WEAPON. Attached is the invoice from [redacted]. describing the repairs that have been made to the 2002 [redacted] Ram truck that was purchased from Apple Automotive in August 2013. These repairs were required for the vehicle to pass [redacted] inspection and to ensure that the vehicle was safe to drive as promised by [redacted] at the time of the sale.Desired Settlement: All we are asking for is help paying the bill. They put my son in harms way by letting him drive off the lot. We want $2000 dollars to resolve this matter.[redacted]

Review: I purchased the 2008 [redacted] Liberty on February 28th 2013 with the extended warranty.I am already having problems with the transmission slipping and it seems like a lifter is going and the pressure light keeps coming on so I went to the dealer to have it serviced they gave me an appointment and told me they would need it for a while but told me my warranty didn't cover a loaner car.(I work and need a car so I called the warranty company. They informed me because the people at Apple didn't do what they were supposed to do my warranty has never been active. I called Apple trying to resolve the matter but no one has even tried to get back to me and I called the warranty company and they still have done nothing to fix the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay off the loan and take their lemon car back, and if possible to get that same amount in compensation because I also traded my car at that time and the claimed they gave me $2700.00 for my car.

Absolutely terrible never buy a car from here. The attitudes of the employees are unreal and not to mention the finance guy (Robert) made multiple inappropriate comments to me. Seems like you are getting a great deal until you drive off the lot and your check engine light instantly pops on at which point Red (the service manager) who is completely incapable of doing his job will say its a lose gas cap and reset the light.
