Appleton Auto

On Thursday, September 3 I went to check out vehicles at the Marinette, Walmart after receiving a mailing in the mail about a mega tent sale by Applecars, LLC.I arrived about 9 o'clock in the morning and didn't find any automobiles and I was interested in. I asked he representative there to check my prize. The mailer indicated I was a winner of one of five prizes. Having witnessed many of these scams before I realized the prize I would win is a one dollar scratch off ticket. The person there indicated they were all out of prizes.. This is false advertisement and the Revdex.com should investigate. I asked this individual who the company was that he work for and for his business card. He indicated that it was Walmart, who put on sale, which was false. The mailing stated Walmart was was not a participant in the sale.

Appleton Auto is a joke. After a phone inquiry about the inventory, and the current vehicle trade in bonus, I was informed by the sales clerk that I could bring my vehicle in that day to be evaluated. Then that evaluation would then be locked in for 30 days to use towards a vehicle on their lot. When I arrived, I was told that I could not get my vehicle evaluated until I picked out a new vehicle to trade it in for. OK, sure. We went outside to look for the 2 Chevy Cruze LTZ's, that I was assured were in stock, and there were none! We went inside to see what could be done. In that time, I had made it clear that I was not interested in financing through their company. I said that I would only buy from Appleton Auto if the trade-in offer, combined with the price tag of a Cruze LTZ, fit my budget. After that, I pushed to get the trade-in evaluation. I then had to fight to get the 30 day, locked-in offer that I was assured I would get before I drove down. After waiting around for an hour, the Manager came back with a handwritten,18 day locked-in offer agreement. Hmmmm? I was done, I just wanted to go home because I wasted my time. To my surprise, when I got home I received a notice that a 'hard credit check' was done on my name. I never requested financing or agreed to a credit check. Thanks, Appleton Auto, for wasting my time, giving me the run-around, and putting a mark on my credit report.

I was very pleased, I did not actually believe I'd be able to get a car I could afford without a lot of money down, but Mike got me into a new car and a payment I could afford. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a new car.

So thankful for the GREAT help I received from Jackie [redacted]! I never thought purchasing a car would be so easy until I visited Appleton Auto. I am beyond thrilled with my new vehicle and am very glad that Jackie was there to assist me every step of the way!
