Applied bank makes sure they collect late charges by not allowing any payments toward payment due from the payment due date to the 2nd of the next monthFor me that is a week that they have their own period of grace that allows them to collect late feesAfter years of being a card holder, this is the time to close it out
I will warn anyone to stay away from applied bank

I had to spend an unreasonable amount of time on the phone with someone trying to cancel my credit card I called, and tried to be nice, but it got to the point of ridiculousness This company charges unreasonable fees for everything, does not make it easy, and charges interest on zero balances I had to ask for a supervisor who would not send me a confirmation email stating that the account is canceled and claims that I still owe them more money I had just paid the full amount on my card online, and they claimed they couldn't see it They also claim that I still owe more money than what the pay off amount was when I made a payment on line minutes before I called them

This matter has not been resolved My husband is in contact with a *** *** *** *** who said he is the Executive Correspondence at Applied Bank and promised to provide some type of disclaimer as to why they increased my APR to percent and replaced the $annual membership fee with a $per month charge MrFletcher said he cannot email the document, so we are waiting for a copy via snail mail to take to the next level We believe Applied Bank is very deceptive and will be challenging the legality of their business practice, once the document is received Please see below for my email dialogue with *** ***

I have paid off my balance on my credit cards with this Institution, however they process every month a $recruitment payments that had set up when that is a balance dueI called customer service to report my disagreement and they didn't solve the problem and yet they just took another $on 04/01/2016, as of right now they owe me money being that I have no balance dueThis is awful and they system is so difficult that cant even cancel anythingI want my funds back to my checking account

I am demanding original signed agreement and complete account info including late fees and dates of late payments.All records of entire account

To begin with my wife contacted Applied Bank in August concerning a late payment for that monthHer mother had passed away and we were out of town the week the payment was dueThey refused to speak with her, and after requests for the paperwork to authorize her on the account still have not sent itI am on construction sites during their open hours and am unable to call them due to suchThat late fee of $38, coupled with the $payment fee and the $monthly fee ate up my payment, and sent my account on a downhill spiral of more fees, leading to being over the limit the following month, and incurred an over the limit fee of $38, shoving my payments over $a month, which after losing a weeks pay and the expense of the funeral and trip I could not affordI have continued making payments every month, but if they were not the exact amount I was still considered late, and they have now reported late payments to the credit bureaus! The transmission needs to be replaced

An account was opened with the company in 2012; closed shortly thereafter (2013) due to the exorbitant fees associated with the cardof credit bureaus have removed this item completely due to Applied Bank not producing information to validate the debt; it remained on one reportWhile I do not agree in full with the charges, I have contacted them on multiple days and have been told that they cannot connect me to anyone in their colletions department, I have to wait for them to call meI was provided a "work order number" and to date, have not received a call to settle this account - I've never had to beg anyone to take money from me beforeI am also told that it can take up to business days to receive a call back from the collections department for me to give them full payment!!

Applied Bank charges a $monthly maintenance fee even if the account is closed! I have been trying to pay off my balance for years and have not used the accountHowever, it's nearly impossible when I continue to receive a $monthly maintenance feeAlso, I made my June's payment prior to the cutoff time and date; but I still received a late fee! The customer service representative advised the fee may or not be waivedThe agent even verified the payment was made on timeIt's so disheartening that even making my payment on time still leads to a late feePlease help stop this company from being able to charge $monthly maintenance fees regardless if the account is closed! Please help get the late fee for June's payment waivedThanks in advance!

I was looking at my credit report, and came across this company, for a Business Credit CardI don't own a business, and never applied for a Business Credit CardI do have a fraud alert on my credit file, they are suppose to call me before opening an account, I have never heard of this bankI would like to get this resolved and off my credit report
