This is pretty much what I expected to see for a response, but I beg to differ This company in fact has not provided me with everything needed to be successful in real estate investing They have committed advertising and it began with the very first seminar that I attended As a consumer, I answered a TV advertisement to attend a free seminar and was promised a free MPplayer just to attend I never got a MPplayer, but I did get a high pressure sales pitch to continue my "education" by attending a day seminar in San Antonio which was not free at all The price tag was around $1,excluding travel, meals, and lodging The advertisement also displayed a study guide and the complete system on DVD with the study guide which I received some time later, but it was out of date Instead, I received an email with a link to download the information which was out of date, and to date, have not received the updated information as advertised
Misled by the hype, I signed up for another seminar and the bus tour program: $15,000, which did not include travel, meals, and lodging Much to my surprise, still no updated study guide I took notes in a notebook that had been published somewhere around two or three years earlier with out of date information I was instructed to update and research the items lists myself Although the instruction received on the bus tour was generally useful, it was obvious to me that the program was holding back on analyzing repair costs which was vaguely referred to as "ninumbers" used to speed up the estimating process
There was an extra day added to the bus tour package that I was not informed about and could stay for because my plans had been made days ahead of time and could not be changed I was approached by "strategists" to sign on to an additional $25,"advanced program," which I of course turned down because I did not feel that I had gotten my money's worth even at that point Although the bus tour was entertaining, it was overloaded with hype and short on instruction I really felt that I had been dupted at that point, but, honestly was to ashamed to admit it
Locating properties that can be purchased according to the systems guidelines and good, experienced real estate agents that will work with the system have been very difficult to find Informing students about the existence of REO intermediary companies and REO agents was very scantily mentioned in context which I found out about on my own after several rejected offers
It is true that I have been provided 'extra' information supposedly beyond the contents of the original package, which, I argue, is just further evidence that I was not given everything I needed to be successful as promised with the original package Since attending the L.Abus tour, I have discovered that all the information delivered up to that time, is readily available from other sources for a whole lot less money Therefore, I believe this company has committed advertising, I have been overcharged for the information rendered, and I believe I at least half of my money back is a reasonable request

I attended a free seminar in Las Vegas with this company in July of The seminar provided very little actual information on how to do the business and was more about hype to get you to buy a day seminar and some books/CDsMy wife and I gave in to their hard selling techniques and purchased the seminar/materialsI didn't start reading the materials until about a week later, and only got through two of the pamphlets before I became very uncomfortable being associated with this businessThere were many spelling errors, some incorrect calculations, and the CDs were all prefaced with the same remark (in essence it said that there have been some important changes, and the company didn't want to spend the extra money to update the CDs, but it assured that the books were correct)My thought was, "if they aren't able to successfully put together this education material, how are they going to be able to help me be successful in this business?" Because of this, I quickly became uneasy with the legitimacy of the businessSo, I thought I would try to get a refund for my purchase on the basis that the company sold me defective or subpar productI wasn't EXPECTING it back because at this point it was about a week and a half after I made the purchase and the contract specifies the 3-day refund policyHowever, I thought I would try because I didn't have anything to lose and $1,is a lot of money to someone like me (at this point in my life)After explaining my reasoning for my request for an exception to the 3-day policy with one of the "mentors", he told me he would check with his direct supervisor and give me a call back to let me know the status of the requestI waited 2-days with no responseFinally, I gave them a call back only to get somebody else that I had to tell my whole story to againShe also told me that she was going to call me back that day before she left to let me know what her supervisor saidI received no such phone callI went through this timesOn my fourth phone call back I spoke with a representative who once again asked me my situationI quickly found out however, that this was just a pleasantry and that he didn't really want to hear a word I was sayingHe was very rude, condescending, and interrupted every time I tried to speak so that I wasn't even able to produce a coherent string of words to make a complete sentenceAt least this man was able to give me a direct "no" response to my refund request, so I didn't have to wait on an un-kept promiseIn short (and in my opinion), this company sells subpar product and has staff that are supposed to be mentors, but that instead treat you poorly and don't follow through with what they say they are going to do (except the part about keeping your money)If this company is having these type of people mentor you, and are producing the kind of material that I was exposed to, I don't want any further part of it

They would tell us “picture this you can get anything you want house, car, help family and friends” Dave started this game and whoever had the most points in at the end of the day workshop he would give the winner a copy of Armando’s software that he uses and it’s was worth $Then after break we came back and we were handed a sheet with a list of phone numbers it was the main numbers to the credit card companies exAMEX, Discover, Chase, Bank of America and so you can get to points you needed to get credit increases on your credit cards…we ended up getting increase on my chase and discover cardFinally they started taking about this AM bus tour and how great it was and how they basically hold your hand and walk you thru the whole thing (not the case)Dave was saying investors take action now they do not hold backThey also stated that funding will not be an issue that at these bus tours there were a ton of seasoned investors that would loan money and other money would be available you did not need any money downDave stated if you don’t take action now you will never prosper and you will stay where you areWe ended up signing up with all this promises of funding and everything sounding great they would hold your hand the whole waySo we got the platinum $40,planBasically paid 40K for bus tour, Asset training and two LLC under AMS and Cash FlowIn April we attended the Bus Tour in Miami, Florida there was over to students exactly how were they going to walk us thru everything and hold your hand like they promised? There were no season investors only students that could be potential lenders, no banks were available, just studentsThe students were not lending anything to anyone lets be reasonable who is going to lend money to a complete stranger money to flip a house with barely any experienceAt this point I had my doubts about the whole thing and my wife was still giving him them the benefit if the doubtArmando Montelongo was there for a couple of hours and every one was so excited to meet and be in the same place as Armando and the fact that we were being taught by the man himself seemed awesome at the timeArmando would take breaks or would leave and have other people speak like “Kirk the shirt” he is the sales guy for Preferred Trust IRA companyHe’s job was basically to get us to use our 401K or pension to invest into real estateBut he was also like Armando we were promised a 4% rate if we switched over to a self- directed IRA where Kirk will manage it and do a the legal end paperwork per transaction at the time it made sense, but after looking over the contract the prices were insaneWhen some of the bus tour students get the statement what a surprise the only got 1% instead of the 4%When they called to find out what happened to the 4% they told them that group was full and there was no more space available for the 4% after they already have your money in their possessionWe did meet amazing people there and of course everyone talks about their experience and how they got thereWhat I found very upsetting was that not everyone paid the same amount like we didSome people paid $5000.00, $7500.00, $10,000.00, $12,000.00, $15,000.00, $20,and so on up the $40,that we paid and we were all learning the same exact thingWe met people like us that had no debt and use the credit cards to pay for the whole thing not including food and travel arrangementsWe met people that used their life savings and of course we met the one that just had it to spendLike Armando keep telling us to network talk to everyone and find out who is the lenders with money and who are the ones that need more to do a dealWhile our training Giovanni F* gets up on the stage and starts talking about cash flow properties and how to fix them up and get them ready to rent to the publicLittle by little he started talking about a project that he and Armando had finished Orlando and how they bought all these blocks of properties and had turned around the neighborhood and how they have a mixed rate which is the property values raising while renting it and still being able to collect the rentShortly after his whole speech he tells us that we are in luck and they have like houses there and already to sell to us for 85k-100kThey were actually trying to make more money off of us by selling us property and there were a lot of people that did purchase these house but we couldn’t afford that not after spending so much more to get thereFrom the beginning of the bus tour this was all planned out because Armando came out and the first thing that he says to us was that there were students that had been asking about what the Master Mentor Program was and he briefly said that it is another program for elite students, but he didn’t want to talk about thatA day before the bus tour ended our team leader Rick and Owen scheduled a so call one on one with us and told us we have the potential to proceed to the next levelYup, This was the Master Mentor Program that Armando himself will be teaching us to learn all his secrets and along with that we would be getting his software the same week that we were going to be training for the cash flow so we figured why not we could kill two birds with one stoneAt cash flow they were still selling us properties in Orlando, but keep in mind supposedly there were only for sellCash flow showed us some technics to use in different situationsAfter that we went to a different hotel for Master Mentor since this was so secretive and they January of 2012, my son and I were watching an infomercial program where the Armando Montelongo Seminars were advertized I have experienced difficult times with a failing business and Bankruptcy was just around the corner I thought the Seminars were the answer to my programs I did everything I could possibly do to borrow money from friends and family to attend the Seminar January 19, we attended the “FREE SEMINAR”, which was only a sales pitch for a day Seminar We paid $2,for my son and I to attendOn January 27, we attended the day Seminar at the Marriott Hotel in Newport Beach The entire day Seminar was NOT what they pitched at the Free Seminar The $2,Seminar was another Sales Pitch within itself! The first day we spent getting to know the team and hearing about their families and financial success The final day was a push to get everyone to purchase one of the packages (one package was priced at $31,and the other $41,495) I couldn’t afford the $31,and was only able to come up with $20, Again we collected the $20,from friends and family to attend and we were able to come up with the funds The representatives take every penny they possibly can The $31,package was “CONVENTIALLY” reduced to $20,so that my son and I were able to attendAt both Seminars the sales pitch is the same “You need to take care of your family”, “This is the only path to financial freedom”, “What is holding you back?”, “Say no to excuses”, “Investors take action now” etcI feel as if we were lied to, it was just one sales pitch after another in order for people to fork out more money They sold a dream The pitch was you don’t need good credit or money in order to invest in properties; you only need to obtain Hard Money loans Hard Money loans have an incredibly high interest rate between 12%-21% and may go as high as 25%-29% The interest alone will take all of your profits! This is pretty much what I expected to see for a response, but I beg to differ This company in fact has not provided me with everything needed to be successful in real estate investing They have committed advertising and it began with the very first seminar that I attended As a consumer, I answered a TV advertisement to attend a free seminar and was promised a free MPplayer just to attend I never got a MPplayer, but I did get a high pressure sales pitch to continue my "education" by attending a day seminar in San Antonio which was not free at all The price tag was around $1,excluding travel, meals, and lodging The advertisement also displayed a study guide and the complete system on DVD with the study guide which I received some time later, but it was out of date Instead, I received an email with a link to download the information which was out of date, and to date, have not received the updated information as advertised
Misled by the hype, I signed up for another seminar and the bus tour program: $15,000, which did not include travel, meals, and lodging Much to my surprise, still no updated study guide I took notes in a notebook that had been published somewhere around two or three years earlier with out of date information I was instructed to update and research the items lists myself Although the instruction received on the bus tour was generally useful, it was obvious to me that the program was holding back on analyzing repair costs which was vaguely referred to as "ninumbers" used to speed up the estimating process
There was an extra day added to the bus tour package that I was not informed about and could stay for because my plans had been made days ahead of time and could not be changed I was approached by "strategists" to sign on to an additional $25,"advanced program," which I of course turned down because I did not feel that I had gotten my money's worth even at that point Although the bus tour was entertaining, it was overloaded with hype and short on instruction I really felt that I had been dupted at that point, but, honestly was to ashamed to admit it
Locating properties that can be purchased according to the systems guidelines and good, experienced real estate agents that will work with the system have been very difficult to find Informing students about the existence of REO intermediary companies and REO agents was very scantily mentioned in context which I found out about on my own after several rejected offers
It is true that I have been provided 'extra' information supposedly beyond the contents of the original package, which, I argue, is just further evidence that I was not given everything I needed to be successful as promised with the original package Since attending the L.Abus tour, I have discovered that all the information delivered up to that time, is readily available from other sources for a whole lot less money Therefore, I believe this company has committed advertising, I have been overcharged for the information rendered, and I believe I at least half of my money back is a reasonable request

I attended a free seminar in Las Vegas with this company in July of The seminar provided very little actual information on how to do the business and was more about hype to get you to buy a day seminar and some books/CDsMy wife and I gave in to their hard selling techniques and purchased the seminar/materialsI didn't start reading the materials until about a week later, and only got through two of the pamphlets before I became very uncomfortable being associated with this businessThere were many spelling errors, some incorrect calculations, and the CDs were all prefaced with the same remark (in essence it said that there have been some important changes, and the company didn't want to spend the extra money to update the CDs, but it assured that the books were correct)My thought was, "if they aren't able to successfully put together this education material, how are they going to be able to help me be successful in this business?" Because of this, I quickly became uneasy with the legitimacy of the businessSo, I thought I would try to get a refund for my purchase on the basis that the company sold me defective or subpar productI wasn't EXPECTING it back because at this point it was about a week and a half after I made the purchase and the contract specifies the 3-day refund policyHowever, I thought I would try because I didn't have anything to lose and $1,is a lot of money to someone like me (at this point in my life)After explaining my reasoning for my request for an exception to the 3-day policy with one of the "mentors", he told me he would check with his direct supervisor and give me a call back to let me know the status of the requestI waited 2-days with no responseFinally, I gave them a call back only to get somebody else that I had to tell my whole story to againShe also told me that she was going to call me back that day before she left to let me know what her supervisor saidI received no such phone callI went through this timesOn my fourth phone call back I spoke with a representative who once again asked me my situationI quickly found out however, that this was just a pleasantry and that he didn't really want to hear a word I was sayingHe was very rude, condescending, and interrupted every time I tried to speak so that I wasn't even able to produce a coherent string of words to make a complete sentenceAt least this man was able to give me a direct "no" response to my refund request, so I didn't have to wait on an un-kept promiseIn short (and in my opinion), this company sells subpar product and has staff that are supposed to be mentors, but that instead treat you poorly and don't follow through with what they say they are going to do (except the part about keeping your money)If this company is having these type of people mentor you, and are producing the kind of material that I was exposed to, I don't want any further part of it

They would tell us “picture this you can get anything you want house, car, help family and friends” Dave started this game and whoever had the most points in at the end of the day workshop he would give the winner a copy of Armando’s software that he uses and it’s was worth $Then after break we came back and we were handed a sheet with a list of phone numbers it was the main numbers to the credit card companies exAMEX, Discover, Chase, Bank of America and so you can get to points you needed to get credit increases on your credit cards…we ended up getting increase on my chase and discover cardFinally they started taking about this AM bus tour and how great it was and how they basically hold your hand and walk you thru the whole thing (not the case)Dave was saying investors take action now they do not hold backThey also stated that funding will not be an issue that at these bus tours there were a ton of seasoned investors that would loan money and other money would be available you did not need any money downDave stated if you don’t take action now you will never prosper and you will stay where you areWe ended up signing up with all this promises of funding and everything sounding great they would hold your hand the whole waySo we got the platinum $40,planBasically paid 40K for bus tour, Asset training and two LLC under AMS and Cash FlowIn April we attended the Bus Tour in Miami, Florida there was over to students exactly how were they going to walk us thru everything and hold your hand like they promised? There were no season investors only students that could be potential lenders, no banks were available, just studentsThe students were not lending anything to anyone lets be reasonable who is going to lend money to a complete stranger money to flip a house with barely any experienceAt this point I had my doubts about the whole thing and my wife was still giving him them the benefit if the doubtArmando Montelongo was there for a couple of hours and every one was so excited to meet and be in the same place as Armando and the fact that we were being taught by the man himself seemed awesome at the timeArmando would take breaks or would leave and have other people speak like “Kirk the shirt” he is the sales guy for Preferred Trust IRA companyHe’s job was basically to get us to use our 401K or pension to invest into real estateBut he was also like Armando we were promised a 4% rate if we switched over to a self- directed IRA where Kirk will manage it and do a the legal end paperwork per transaction at the time it made sense, but after looking over the contract the prices were insaneWhen some of the bus tour students get the statement what a surprise the only got 1% instead of the 4%When they called to find out what happened to the 4% they told them that group was full and there was no more space available for the 4% after they already have your money in their possessionWe did meet amazing people there and of course everyone talks about their experience and how they got thereWhat I found very upsetting was that not everyone paid the same amount like we didSome people paid $5000.00, $7500.00, $10,000.00, $12,000.00, $15,000.00, $20,and so on up the $40,that we paid and we were all learning the same exact thingWe met people like us that had no debt and use the credit cards to pay for the whole thing not including food and travel arrangementsWe met people that used their life savings and of course we met the one that just had it to spendLike Armando keep telling us to network talk to everyone and find out who is the lenders with money and who are the ones that need more to do a dealWhile our training Giovanni F

January of 2012, my son and I were watching an infomercial program where the Armando Montelongo Seminars were advertized I have experienced difficult times with a failing business and Bankruptcy was just around the corner I thought the Seminars were the answer to my programs I did everything I could possibly do to borrow money from friends and family to attend the Seminar January 19, we attended the “FREE SEMINAR”, which was only a sales pitch for a day Seminar We paid $2,for my son and I to attendOn January 27, we attended the day Seminar at the Marriott Hotel in Newport Beach The entire day Seminar was NOT what they pitched at the Free Seminar The $2,Seminar was another Sales Pitch within itself! The first day we spent getting to know the team and hearing about their families and financial success The final day was a push to get everyone to purchase one of the packages (one package was priced at $31,and the other $41,495) I couldn’t afford the $31,and was only able to come up with $20, Again we collected the $20,from friends and family to attend and we were able to come up with the funds The representatives take every penny they possibly can The $31,package was “CONVENTIALLY” reduced to $20,so that my son and I were able to attendAt both Seminars the sales pitch is the same “You need to take care of your family”, “This is the only path to financial freedom”, “What is holding you back?”, “Say no to excuses”, “Investors take action now” etcI feel as if we were lied to, it was just one sales pitch after another in order for people to fork out more money They sold a dream The pitch was you don’t need good credit or money in order to invest in properties; you only need to obtain Hard Money loans Hard Money loans have an incredibly high interest rate between 12%-21% and may go as high as 25%-29% The interest alone will take all of your profits!
