I would like to lodge a report against Ashford.com for a purchase I’ve made onlineThe following is the time-line of events:
On ** July 2016, online purchase was made for an EDOX watch (***, Order No***), paid for USD$with credit cardOne day later, I made another purchase for an EDOX watch (***, Order: ***), paid for USD$with the same credit cardAll these purchases were made online via Ashford.com
These purchases were then sent to *** for delivery to Singapore
On Aug 2016, I received the first package EDOX (***) successfullyHowever, on ** Aug 2016, the second package EDOX (***) was received with just the watch caseNo watch was inside the case
Immediately, I contacted Ashford.com and ***
***’s initial investigation revealed that the watch was already missing when the package first arrivedThey had photographs of the package and further investigat

My on line experience was very goodI placed the order, payment was verified and watch was shippedUpon arrival it was missing a stylus I emailed them for it it was sent the next day

I am from china ,few days ago I bought a watch at ashford in my first time
Today I feel very angry about the watch bought from the ashford.Because the watch they sold me is broken!
I received my watch at 10:am ,in that moment I was very happy
But at 13:pm, I suddenly found there is a screw in the watch movement and then my watch did not move!
only three hours ,i'm sure I was very care of my new watch,I can't believe my eles! I was shocked about ashford's watch.Why shipped a broken watch to me? This tings makes me disappoint and sad.I called ashford,they tell me only can repair it,not to change a new one! It makes me very angry!

I ordered a watch on January **, and received a defective watch that did not keep timeThe correct time was set and the watch was set back in the box and observed I called their customer service and was offered an exchange OR an RMA and prepaid return shippingI returned it to them for a full refund
Only after I filed a dispute with my credit card company about not receiving a refund did they tell me there was an issue with the watch and that they would not refundThey made claims, one which one was that the bezel was scratched and said that they would send to manufacturer for repair and it would be returned to me in about monthsI disputed their claims (picture that proved the bezel was not scratched) with my credit card company and got a credit which was just reversed on 6/*/because Ashford stated that the watch had been worn for days

Horrible customer service with no communicationMy order took so long to get here I thought they were a fake companyI got no response with inquiriesMy son didn't like the watch so I tried for over a week to return an item and its like they tried to avoid it, hoping I would just give upI finally got a response and am returning it todayWe will see if I actually get a refund

I BOUGHT A HAMILTION WATCH WHICH IS AMERICAN CLASSIC AND MY ORDER NUMBER IS ***THE WATCH WENT WRONG AFTER I WORN THE WATCH FOR ONLY DAYS, THE "LONG SKINNY HAND" OF THE WATCH CAN NO LONGER LINE UP TO THE O'CLOCK POSITION WHEN RESETTING AFTER USING THE FUNCTION AS A STOP WATCH AND THE LONG SKINNY HAND IS GOING MORE FAR AWAY AFTER EACH RESETTINGI CONTACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER TO APPLY FOR RETURN, BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REFUSED TO ACCEPT RETURN AND ONLY PROVIDE FOR REPAIRINGON THE WARRANT CARD, IT SAYS THE WARRANT CARD HAS TO BE STAMPED PROPERLY BY THE SELLER TO GET THE OFFICIAL WARRANT AND ASHFORD ALSO MESSED IT UP! IT LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE AFRAID THAT CUSTOMERS SENT THE WATCH TO HAMILTON TO GET AN OFFICAL REPAIRIT GOES CRAZY IF A SELLER SOLD A FAKE WATCH AND REFUSES TO RETURN INSTEAD THAT THEY PROVIDE REPAIR SERVICE BY THEMSELVESWHAT I WANT IS RETURNING THE SY WATCH! Hello,Thank you for your attention to this matter...please allow me to reply:Any time one of our customers uses an "rebate" site, they must submittheir order properly through the correct channels. The order mustoriginate from the rebate site, and be led to our site through that
rebatesite. This will map the IP address and give us a code by which we canverify the order was submitted correctly. Now, once this is done, thecustomer will receive the rebate in a few days to a few weeks, depending on howfast the rebate site updates their order system - that has nothing to do withAshford.com.A few issues could have occurred here - if you the customer did not place theirorder through the rebate site properly, then the rebate is invalid. Ifthe customer selected an ineligible item (for reasons such as alreadydiscounted), then the rebate is invalidIf the customer requested a partialrefund after the order was placed (due to price decrease), then the rebate isinvalid. Unfortunately, these rebate sites are run very strictly...all oftheir rules are posted within their sites - it is the customers responsibilityto read these terms and conditions before entering into an order agreement.Now, after reviewing this customers order, I do not see any notes that theyhave spoken to us about this rebate issue…so I’m unsure as to whom they arereferring to when the customer states they were informed that “we” told themthat the rebate was already credited to another website.I would suggest that the customer contact the rebate site tofind out whether they actually placed this order correctly. During the warranty period the watch has been briefly exposed to waterWatch got water inside instantaneously
Ashford refuses to hour the warranty, saying that it is a company policy not to accept warranty repairs for any water exposure
Total contradiction with the advertised web site's information

I have NO idea why every single comment I read about this company is so bad - I must be clueless, though I highly doubt it, because my own experience with Ashford was A+++++ I ordered a Hamilton Khaki Seaview and paid for next day air with *** (*** IS THE WORST) - I trusted Ashford over ***! The watch was packaged beautifully, arrived on time, and I LOVE this watch - retail on it was over a $and I got it for $ AND, when I called customer service, the woman could NOT have been nicer or more professional - and this is Xmas season! Hello,I understand that you feel we lied to you..but the evidence you have supplied clearly shows that *** told you that it "should be" stamped...he did not promise you that it would be. He went on further to let you know that if it's not, you could contact the Customer Service Deptto find out if you could obtain a stamped card.It is when you contacted our Customer Service Deptthat you received improper information. Allow me to elaborate...A few months ago we were able to send ALL *** watches out with a stamped warranty card. Then, very suddenly, *** told us that we had to use different warranty cards, and they were NOT stamped. *** did not give us authorization to stamp these new cards...therefore; we cannot stamp this card with their official seal...it's not allowed, at this time.If this rule changes in the future...I'm happy to provide you with a stamped warranty card, where available. But until then, our hands are tied...and I'm very sorry!We always strive to uphold our words...however; in this case...it was a simple misunderstanding where *** believed we were still sending out stamped cards, and we weren't.If and when we're able to stamp *** cards again...I'll be happy to send you one. I purchased an EDOX "swiss made" luxury watch from Ashford.com in January It has since been sent to Ashford for warranty repairs times, all for the same problem relating to the auto-winderNow it went wrong again and I sent it back again for repairThis is the 5th timeEach time it took approximately monthsDespite my multiple requests, Ashford refuses to refund or replace the problem watch
Each of the past repairs took approximately months including two-way shippingNeedless to say in the one and half years I had the watch I have been unable to use it in any meaningful way As the warranty period is about to run out, I no longer wish to receive the repairI require either full refund or replacement, with apology for the one and half years of frustration
Ashford.com never responded to my request, so I have no option but to complain to the Revdex.com
