I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This response brings me no closer to resolution.  This response appears to be more of passing the blame than taking responsibility and making a plan to make this right.  The product is not delivered.  We have received no updates on the delivery and have not been provided any information from the company as to why the product was not delivered.  The customer service on the delivery end is simply appalling.  I am learning as I talk to friends and colleagues that this is how Ashley operates.  I look forward to a prompt resolution of this matter.  If the order is not delivered soon, I would like the order cancelled.

The store responsible offered me a $50 gift card to their criminal store as their means of resolution.  I told them this was insufficient and unacceptable.  They told me to write the board of directors if I wasn't satisfied.Highly unsatisfied.Revdex.com:

Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. does work closely with each of the retailers to assure they are following the manufacturer warranty accordingly. It has been brought to our attention that the issues Mr. [redacted] has experienced with his Ashley product does not show any signs of a workmanship or manufacturer's defect, therefore it is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. We are very sorry that the retailer nor Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. will be able to assist him further with his concerns.
