authorized Ashley dealer, [redacted]. Ashley
dealers are independently owned and operated and are responsible for processing
warranty claims at the retail level. It states in the Claim Procedure section
of the warranty booklet Ms. [redacted] should have received with her furniture,
“If a problem should arise which you feel is covered by our Limited Warranties,
contact the Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. authorized retailer from whom you
purchased your furniture.”
I took the liberty of
forwarding the information provided by the Revdex.com to the Ashley Marketing
Specialist in the [redacted] area. The Marketing Specialist will assist store
management with this claim and will instruct them to contact Ms. [redacted] to
discuss her options.

All warranties are handled at the retail level; therefore, I do not have information at our office regarding the status of Mr. [redacted]’s claim. We are very sorry to hear the [redacted]’s have chose not to
accept my response to their Revdex.com claim. Since each of the stores are independently owned and
operated, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. in Arcadia, WI does not have access
to each of their individual sales records nor are our computers linked
together. Therefore, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. is unable to look into
her concerns further. Which is why we refer her to contact the [redacted]

The issue has not been resolved and is absolutely incorrect from [redacted], Consumer Affairs representative.  We sent Ashley a letter via email with all of the information, including the name of the store that we purchased the furniture along  the receipt and pictures of the furniture and furniture serial numbers.  The Ashley Home Store here in Avondale contacted me and I again explained to him the situation that I had not purchased this furniture at the Home store but at one of the local retail stores here who carry their product.

Hello,Thank you for contacting us in regards to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns. After her first Revdex.com claim, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. (the manufacturing plants corporate office) forwarded her concern to the Head of Customer Care for the Salem, NH HomeStore. It was brought to our attention that her part shipped out on October 25th and a technician was scheduled for October 27th, she was not at home for the service call. They rescheduled the technician on November 9th, she was not at home for the service call. They rescheduled the technician for December 4th, she was once again not at home for the service call. A technician is now scheduled for December 28th. According to the above, the retailer has attempted to service Ms. [redacted]'s bed, however the service calls were not able to be completed on the scheduled dates. dealers are independently owned and operated and are responsible for processing
all claims at the retail level.
 
Mr. ** also called Ashley
Furniture Industries, Inc. and spoke with me regarding his concerns. It was
explained to him that refunds, which is what he is requesting, need to be
handled on the retail level. Mr. ** feels that because Ashley sells products to
[redacted] and [redacted] will not issue him a refund,
Ashley should stop selling products to them. It was explained this was not
something that was possible as this may be an isolated incident. It was highly
recommended that Mr. ** work with the store regarding his concerns. I also
conferenced a call with Mr. ** and Affordable Furrniture, the gentleman at
[redacted] tried to explain that Mr. **’s concerns have nothing to do
with Ashley Furniture as he also purchased other manufacturer’s products. The
conversation really did not go anywhere; therefore I offered to have my
supervisor call Mr. ** on Monday after she reviews his claim. Less than 15
minutes of getting off the phone with him, he called back and spoke with another
Customer Relations employee, it was explained to him that the supervisor would
call him on Monday.
 
I also took the liberty of
forwarding the information provided by the Revdex.com to the Ashley Marketing
Specialist in the [redacted] area. The Marketing Specialist will assist store
management with this claim and will instruct them to contact Mr. **  to discuss his concerns.
