I found Ashton via the web, and wish I had found them decades ago. Instead I have suffered getting work done by other similar companies in size, but found them hard to book, no reliable for scheduling, expensive, and poor workmanship. My experience with Ashton has been very professional. SThe booking was easy, their rep (Andy) was knowledgeable, their install was clean, on time, and the installers were personable and ready to discuss my preferences. I look forward to further dealings with them.

We bought a new boiler last year from AshtonThey did an amazing installation job and now our "control room" looks great with the piping and new controlsAfter a year, the hot water temperature would drop in a showerPatrick came to our house and correctly diagnosed that debris from our radiant heating loops was causing a problemPatrick installed a filter and wow what a difference to our hot water!!! We were very impressed with Patrick and his ability to detect the problem and fix itAshton also didn't charge us for the service callsWe use Ashton for all of our plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs
The office manager, Arlene, is always polite, cheerful and efficient in taking the details of whatever service is required I appreciate that any time I have needed a service call the confirmation and follow up to set up the appointment has been prompt and as promised Sandro is the journeyman technician that has been assigned to our service calls recently and he is excellent...very polite, low key and provides a clear overview of what's needed, answers any questions and explains any possible options for the repair work He is on time, does the work efficiently and always cleans up before leavingI am impressed with Ashton's overall approach to service and appreciate their attention to being on time, returning calls as promised, doing good work/service and follow up to ensure everything is satisfactory

I have used Ashton plumbing twice now The first time was to install a diverter for my irrigation system I found the people in the office to be very professional and helpful They answered all my questions--I had a lot of questions and wanted to understand the cost and hassle of getting this diverter installed They sent Ming the home technician to do the work Ming was very polite and respectful He gave me an estimate and thoroughly explained the procedure and costs The work was done at a later date (my choice) and the work was done quickly, quietly and neatly according to the quote I have used Ashton since to deal with an older toilet and Ming was able to fix it quickly and recommended that I think about replacing the Crane toilet which is near the end of it's life He made recommendations about the type and model of toilet that would be best and explained reasons whyVery useful information

In good faith moving from Alberta on we bought a new house and signed up with Ashton for annual maintrenance and service Piad them a monthly fee for peace of mindOn Dec before Christmas we called them to identify a Gas smell present around the furnance.I told them that Fortis BC said that there couls be something wrong with regulator which I related to them They promised me an apt and then rescheduled when the tech came he started using the soap method to detect the leakage , I asked him if there was some kind of advanced instrument to detect the function of the regulator and he said no .The tech was so rude and in a hurryHe went and gave me a piece of paper with the quote of fixing the problem I asked him how he knew that it was the regulator and he said it was because I told himI complained on their website and no response all I am asking is the refund of my monthly fee
I also found out that they don't do warranty work and therefore the fee was useless if I
Ashton Service Group has been attending to our furnace and hot water heater for a number of years now, and we've always been very pleased with their work Ross Ghas come to the house at least twice for the annual service Most recently, he arrived exactly on time, was friendly and courteous, and went about his work efficiently, completing the service in a timely manner Helpfully, he mentioned that we should consider a future duct cleaning (which we have been doing regularly every few years through another company that we no longer are connected to) and left a brochure for us to peruse concerning a potential furnace attachment, but we did not experience any pressure from Ross to commit to either of these suggestions
