I have used them for couple of years, never met the person for the longest till recently.. Am overseas ' he was always initimidating over the phone . Paid annually, plus additional charges .. Trusted them . Always received complains from MGT and tenant , never realized they were right . They lie a lot .. We had new equipment installed and I paid for it..went missing in week.
Not sure what happened .. No calls were returned .Just a word of caution just found out not rated under Revdex.com, and no good reviews were found .. Little too late

href="mailto:[email protected]" target="_blank">[redacted]@clevealnd.Revdex.com.orgCc: [redacted] Dr. Andrei P[redacted] Dr. Murali L[redacted]Subject: Aspen Dental Response #2

Per our conversation, below is a description of the case with ID [redacted].

The patient originally agreed to get her hygiene treatment, crowns, extractions and both partial upper and partial lower dentures. In July of 2015. As the patient states she received her hygiene treatment and the Oral B tooth brush which is part of that treatment. She later stated that she had no idea that she had to pay for the Tooth brush, to which she was told that she could return it in the original box for a full refund. When she stated that she no longer had the box, as a courtesy we still refunded the balance for the brush to the finance company.

The patient stated that the crowns that were done were too short and had to be redone. The patient had extractions done and the crowns were around the extraction areas. After healing, the gums subsided around those crowns exposing more tooth structure, which made them more sensitive. So Dr. P[redacted] remade those crowns to the gum line to take care of the patients sensitivity issue.

When the patient came in for her crowns, an Associate Doctor was at the office substituting for Dr. P[redacted]. She inadvertently pinched the patients lip during the process causing it to bleed. At this point the patient decided that she no longer wanted to see any other doctor than Dr. P[redacted] and also made the decision to not move forward with any work on her lower teeth. She only wished to finish the work on her upper teeth that had been started.

The patient was told that the entire package for the partial was included in what she paid by the Office Manager at the time. This does include a separate charge for the temporary and the permanent partial dentures. The patient was told a total amount for both sets, and given a Treatment Acceptance form that has a line-by-line accounting of every charge. The patient signed that agreement and also had a copy to take home. All costs for her entire treatment that the patient desired were outlined in this agreement that she signed. When the patient decided to not go forward with further treatment, she was refunded the amount for the work that she would not complete. With most insurances, the insurance does not actually cover the entire amount of a given procedure. The insurance pays for a portion and the patient must pay for the remaining balance. The patients insurance was only billed the contracted amount for work that the patient did receive. There is no balance to be refunded further either to Dental First (the financing company) or the insurance because the patient has only been billed, and has only paid for, dental work that has been completed.

I wanted to make sure this was added:

After the patient had decided that she wanted a refund and had these issues I personally sat with the patient and went over every issue with her, including the costs and what would be refunded and why. After many attempts she stated she still did not understand why she could not get a larger refund and would be taking the issue up with the Revdex.com.

Here is my response to the rebuttal from Mr. [redacted]:___________________________________________________The information requested by the dental insurance company has been provided and we are awaiting their response.  Any questions about ongoing treatment concerning dentures etc. must be directed to the dentist in charge of Mr. [redacted]'s treatment.  He can contact the office to discuss timeframes for future treatment etc. Thank You, Sincerely,  Ron H[redacted] Senior Patient Satisfaction SpecialistAspen Dental Management, Inc.

Had an emergency appointment on a Saturday. I had scheduled that appointment the Thursday before with the after hours toll free number. When I arrived Saturday they had not verfified my insurance info because they were too busy. That was understandable. So I paid the $19 new patient fee. I was seen and was given a treatment plan without my insurance coverage because once again they did not verify. I waited over 30 minutes in a chair just to get my treatment plan and I know those things take time but I could also hear the whole entire office goofing off and eating lunch while I am just sitting there waiting. The lady at the front desk was nice but also very hard to understand and couldn't even speak in complete sentences. My original appointment was at 1:15 but was switched to 12 because of 2 cancellations so I am not really sure why I had to wait so long on my treatment plan. Anyways.... the overall visit was ok. Nothing too bad but nothing really memorable and nothing to make me want to go back. When I woke up Sunday morning my face was swollen to the size of a golf ball. I knew there probably wasn't much they could do without seeing me so I waited until Monday morning to call and try to schedule appointment..... they still haven't verified my insurance by this point and they said that would be the first thing they did Monday. They also would not give me an appointment and said that I already had medicine and that if that didn't work then I would have to go to the hospital and get medicine through an i.v. They did give me antibiotics at my appt Saturday but I know for a face they have stronger antibiotics than what they gave me. They also said they didn't need to see me and that I just needed to keep taking my antibiotics and I would be fine however they never saw me after Saturday so they have no idea what the knot looks like, where it is, or what is causing it. I also had to wait on hold for over 15 minutes just to talk to somebody. The lady I spoke to, Brandy, was very very rude. She didn't even seem the least bit concerned. I have a golf ball size knot on m,y face and you aren't concerned and wont give me answers or explanations or let me talk to somebody else??? Are you kidding me? I will NEVER EVER EVER visit this office again. Nor will I refer anybody to this office. I will also make sure to leave a bad review about this office anytime I can or have a chance to. I have never had an experience like this at any kind of health providers office and I have also read other reviews similar to mine.... wish I would have saw the reviews before I went or I wouldn't have wasted my time and money or gas.

This issue was resolved with the patient/consumer on 11/14/17.  The $79.70 balance showing due was removed and the patient was advised.  I have included a copy of the account ledger history showing the balance as zero.    Thanks,Sincerely, Ron  H[redacted] Senior Patient...

John,
Here is my response to this complaint.  Please note this matter was reviewed and discussed with the patient (she spoke with the Regional Manager, Matt) on October 02, 2015, prior to the Revdex.com Complaint being...

filed.  Our response remains the same (see attached letter copy and below notes from Matt).

"RM Roch Matt Chaney (10/2/2015 4:47 PM) - I spoke to the patient and explained that our Owner Dr. Parvathaneni has also reviewed the chart and x-rays and agrees with the diagnosis made by Dr. Mansour.  A regular cleaning would not be beneficial for Rebecca at this time and I explained the clinical rationale for this.  I also explained we can help with payment options if that was a concern.  She still stated that she wishes that the doctor would just do a regular cleaning this time but I kept explaining that it would not benefit her. She said we were taking advantage of her but I explained we would be taken advantage of her if we did a cleaning that would not help her".
Sincerely,

I am a 69 year old senior citizen who went to Aspen Dental on south Westenedge Ave. Portage Michigan to get some dental work done. In 2008 I received an upper set of denatures. That were not made right. Way to loose and crooked. I went back to aspen dental about 8 times and explained that they were not right, they were way to loose and extended out of my mouth and gave me the appearance that I had buck teeth. Well I then spoke with 3 other dentist who confirmed my opinion that they were not made the way an upper denture should be made.

I then again went back down and spoke with Dr Ryan v H[redacted] the owner and he then said he would make me another set this was 2/2014. Now after having them a little more than 2 years old I started having teeth fall out of the new one. So again I went in to see him today 7/7/2016 and he said they were out of warranty and the next time I come in I will be charged. Well the dentures that I had made come with a 7 year warranty. And this is even what they state on their website .

That the comfey dentures are backed with a 7 year warranty. Well Dr Ryan said No I did make them in 2014 but I am going to revert back to when you first got them in 2008 even tho you state they were made wrong. Which would now put them past the warranty period and you will be charged for any type of adjustments. I also had their office make me a set of lower partial dentures, that I was never able to wear, recently I had a tooth that broke on the bottom and all the other dentist that I spoke with informed me that he could of added it to my bottom partial, but instead he said he wanted to install a cantilever bridge which would cost over $1600. The other dentist that I spoke with informed me that they do not recommend, or still use that procedure anymore. I do have on file all the paper work showing all the times and dates that I have went in to their office to try to get adjustments.

I have had nothing but problems with the quality of their work, and the guarantee that they are suppose to stand behind and say 100% that they will and do not honor. Today 7/11/2016. I hear from John at [redacted] who said he was the rep. For Aspen Dental, I ask him if he was a rep for aspen dental how you can advertise a 7 year warranty and then after 2 years say, well that warranty is at our discretion and he now informed me that neither myself or my wife are allowed into his office, even thou we have paid over $10,000 in dental expenses and wanted our dental work to be right.

This is what Aspen Dental says about their dentures that I received.

Aspen Dental in Wausau WI is a terrible place! I have an infected tooth that is extremely painful. On the phone they seemed helpful and were able to get me in within a few hours. When I got there, I waited (in tears) for an hour, was taken back for X-rays, and sent back to the waiting area. After another 1/2 hour I was called back and a hygienist poked around, while I had tears running down my face. No one offered, so I asked if I could please have a Kleenex. I was handed a rough, scratchy dental bib to wipe my eyes. She left and said she'd get the dentist so they could get me out of pain. I waited another 1/2 hour and finally my husband came looking for me. The "dentist" came in, made a rude comment about me having root canals "all over the place" (I have had 3 total), and then didn't even bother asking about my pain, when it started, etc. instead, she began ripping me apart because I am on Vicodin for chronic back pain and wouldn't let up. I told her if she had a problem with that then she could call the prescribing doctor (my OB, because I am 7 months pregnant). I told her I wasn't there seeking pain meds, I was seeking a solution to an infected tooth. She was so unprofessional, said to my husband "when I chopped my finger off I didn't act like she's acting". With that, I got out of the chair to leave. She said "I was going to get you numb but Nevermind". Yeah right, like I would let a monster like her come near my painful mouth with a needle and an attitude like that. This place does not display care or compassion for its patients. They specialize in degrading people with poor teeth and all they want to do is cut your teeth out and fit you with dentures, as many people a day as possible and they show their patients NO respect. I highly recommend that people in need of dental care avoid Aspen Dental and find a real dentist to care for you!

Review: On March 22, 2016 I emailed patient services at Aspen Dental regarding my dentures and to this date I got no response from them. Within one year my dentures have been repaired 6 times.

Below is the copy of the email:

This email is to make a complaint about services at [redacted]. I became a patient in 2014 and had my dentures made in July 2014. Since then I went back 6 times for repairs, cracks in my dentures (11/25/14, 1/14/15, 2/9/16, 2/29/16, 3/1/16, 3/14/16). Last visit was on 3/14/16 and they took my dentures for repairs again and I was left without my dentures til 3/25/16. This is unacceptable. I'm very dissatisfied with the service and the fact that the dentures have been repaired so many times.

I'm requesting new dentures to be made at Aspen Dental expense.

I can be reached at [redacted] or via email [redacted]

Thank you.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Since I did not get a response from Aspen Dental regarding this issue, I'm requesting a refund for everything I paid for. I will need to go some place else to get my dentures.

Thank you
