O'Riley Auto Parts Office:
Answering your email, the response by the O'Riley Auto Parts team that I was given does not match what I was told in person at the store by the workers.
After I had informed the workers of my situation with the transmission, a young lady told me that the company would refund my money the next day. The next day I arrived as expected, and was told that they didn't have the money at that time. I waited and went back at least four more times to retrieve the refund that I had been promised. During those four times, I was told the same thing by the workers.
I believe that this is unjust; they should uphold their promises and above all not make false ones. For this reason I felt tricked and treated badly, and looked on for help to a consumer rights company. I insist that the shop receive the transmission and refunds me, the consumer, as promised as quickly as possible. I insisted O'Riley to resolve my situation because they are responsible for miscommunicating the reason that the return is quality.
I will support my argument with the proof of the mechanic diagnostic stating that the transmission had bad problems due to quality.

The part wasn't taken out of the box and checked by anyone at O'Reilys. I would be glad to have it tested but the actual alternator did not have water damage. It was only the box. The sales associate only looked at the box and said they refused to return it. Part wasn't removed from the box.
I would prefer to get a refund and close this matter.

him his money back to that charge card as we would need to return the refund to the same charge card that was used for the purchase on 8/1/16. The store refunded the amount to a gift card and the customer accepted the gift card and has made purchases since 4/20/17 with the gift card they gave him at the store.

We have given the customer all of the rewards he earned on 2/27/18 via email. We forwarded the rewards again on 3/1/18 via email. We are considering this case closed.

I have more information to prove them wrong, on their decision and finding. I Bought all the parts that they said failed from O'Reilly when I bought the water pump every thing was installing,at the same time. I told them in my letter but they did not read that part or just ignore it?

O'Reilly Auto Parts has reviewed the case and based on the findings by the manufacturer, the component (Water Pump, Part # CP4095) returned for inspection and evaluation has been denied. The housing shattered due to a severe out of balance or misalignment problem likely caused by another component. Unfortunately failure in this case was not due to a defective water pump. Submission of a labor claim does not guarantee reimbursement and at this time at the discretion of O'Reilly Auto Parts no additional payment beyond what the manufacturer proposed will be paid.

To O'Reilly response they are saying, bottom line they sell defective parts nowhenly to it customers.As I told them all parts pertaining to watered pump replacement where purchased from them and install by a certified mechanic. Now why they did not tell me to contact the Manufacturer directly instead of jerking my chain I consider myself Very knowledgeable as my dad was a mechanic and would help him work on cars and trucks.

We have filed a claim on behalf of the customer and are waiting on the results from the supplier to determine if the timing chain was the cause of the damages. Generally this takes the 6-8 weeks for the supplier to respond back to us.

We reached back out to [redacted] on 2/8/18 and spoke with the tech department and asked them again if there is any way that the unit the customer has would have a Chrysler logo. The representative for [redacted] stated their terminal intake manifold runner comes with [redacted] logo and the [redacted] part number stamped on it. We will not be able to assist the customer with his desired settlement and are considering this case closed.
