Resolved.)
Sincerely,[redacted]

The complaint has been resolved with the district manager!

I bought the product from www.autozone.com the attachment is the invoice.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:As of right now, Thursday July 23, 2015 at 2:15 pm, there STILL has NOT been a refund of $800.00 to my credit card account. If the refund had been processed on July 22nd, 2015, as Mr. [redacted] says it was, then the credit would be showing up on my credit card account by now.
This charge has now been on my credit card for OVER a week for a purchase that was initiated and cancelled within 5 hours with NO paperwork signed by myself.  I spoke with Mr. [redacted] several times over the last week and have not been able to resolve this. When I have spoken with him, his manner has been VERY unprofessional and rude. I believe he is PURPOSELY not processing the refund because he is bitter about me changing my mind.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We have received your letter dated March 11, 2015. We are very sorry to hear that your client, Ms. [redacted], is dissatisfied with his experience with our company. To further help you and your client, we would need some additional information: the  AutoZone store number and/or location of...

the incident, the phone number to which the battery warranty is attached, and the name of the individual that was allegedly rude to Ms. [redacted].  Once we receive the requested information, please allow (15) business days for the appropriate department to investigate this matter and provide your office with a response.

Consumer states that he was able to get the the items swapped out and now considers the matter resolved.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I called Tuesday and let him a message at phone number ###-###-#### left the message with the person who answered the phone, however I never got a call back[redacted]Phone: ###-###-####I don't have the clerks name but he was about 6' tall, slim and light brown(blond) hair. the phone number attached to the warranty is either ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.I work as a bookkeeper at a used car dealership and we also have a service department.  I write checks all day long for parts being delivered and no one ever takes the charge for a core off then just adds it back in.The receipt says:Battery prorated for warranty $89.00Core Charge -$15.00Core Charge $15.00The core charge should of been deducted, not added back in.Regards,[redacted]

In response to your email below, let me repeat what I’ve mentioned in multiple attempts to communicate personally with you via email and phone:   I continue to be available to discuss your concerns in person or by telephone whenever you can make yourself available.

As of this email you have refused to discuss your battery purchase or your concerns about the product that was sold to you and have asked to communicate via email or regular mail (for which you have not provided a mailing address).  We have not disputed that [redacted] installs a 35 size battery in new vehicles of your make and model, and this is the OE (original equipment) specification for your vehicle.  Our battery supplier, [redacted], manufactures batteries that are original equipment across most brands of automobile, and as such they are very aware of the technical specifications required to support the operation of those vehicles.  I would be more than happy to explain this in more detail at your request.

Alternative battery sizes do exist beyond EO specifications, and AutoZone, as well as most if not all other automotive aftermarket retailers, has been successfully providing those options at a lower retail price than OE-specified batteries for decades.

In my last email I offered to file a claim on your behalf with the manufacturer of the battery.  Despite the fact that you chose not to accept that offer, I have opened a claim with [redacted] and we are in the process of getting them the battery you returned so they can do a full technical assessment of that unit and provide both you and AutoZone with their expert opinion on the function of that product.  We are expediting that process on your behalf.

At this point, instead of engaging in a conversation, you have threatened to sue AutoZone and continue to send disparaging and factually incorrect emails to a large number of AutoZoners as well as other individuals.  You are demanding that we confirm something — that the battery you were sold was not a functional battery for your vehicle in fit, form and function — that we simply do not believe, nor does our supplier.

We look forward to answering any formal inquiries from legal authorities, Revdex.coms, or other agencies with which you have chosen to share your experience.  As I noted in an earlier email, when you brought the battery back to our store and insisted that we provide you with the OE specified battery, we not only provided you with the battery you requested but installed it for you.  We did not charge you the difference in price between your original purchase and the OE specified battery despite a significant price difference.

AutoZone is in the business of helping customers by providing alternative options for repairing their vehicles, in many cases at a substantially lower price than the OE option.  If you will allow us to engage in conversation we will be happy to complete the claims process and communicate the findings to you at our earliest convenience.

Thank You,

To Whom It May Concern We are in receipt of Mr. [redacted]’s complaint regarding his claim for damages to his vehicle. I have spoken with our field and also reviewed the inspection report from the dealership Nissan Volvo. AutoZone had Mr. [redacted]’s vehicle inspected and was told by the dealership...

that AutoZone inspecting the fuse panel did not damage his rear electric module. The dealership stated that Mr. [redacted]’s vehicle is over 10years old with over 200,000 miles. The technician stated that the age, mileage and the module was out prior to AutoZone’s inspection of the fuses. We respectfully deny any payments regarding this claim. Angela M[redacted]AutoZone, Inc.Litigation Paralegal

On 11/2/17 [redacted] brought the vehicle into the dealership and was provided with a loaner. Hoffman Honda’ service team repaired the headliner, cut and programmed a spare key, and repaired a concern with the steering column. On 11/3/17 the team delivered the vehicle back to the [redacted] and...

picked up the loaner. Sales Manager, [redacted] has ordered new floor mats to be delivered directly to the customer’s home and has also spoken to [redacted] to ensure that all his concerns were addressed.

Business stated: "Unfortunately there is nothing we can do for this customer. he purchased the compressor from us, not us but Autozone and he said the compressor went bad and so we took care of it the 1st time. He went to a shop and did some work for his vehicle, then a year and a half later, he...

stated that his compressor went out again. We did not sell him a defective part. Out policy is parts are covered under a year. He contacted us after a year and a half. Plus, he needs to buy the warranty package from the shop he took the vehicle to so it could be covered under their warranty...thats what shops do they warren their work, but Im sure the shop market up the price of the warranty so he didn't buy it. We dont pay consumer for the labor they have to put into their vehicle. We are not responsible for replacing parts after the time frame "

We sincerely apologize for the delay in having the warranty cancelled and refunded accordingly.  One of our Hoffman Honda business managers, Sarah K., has called and emailed [redacted], to ensure we had the correct information for our office manager to process the cancellation.  As of...

September 9 we received confirmation from [redacted] that the warranty has been cancelled. The cancellation was made effective 5/21/15 with a mileage of 85,000 to provide a prorated refund of $1290.54.  This refund will be delivered to the current lien holder, [redacted], within the next 10 business days and the credit will be reflected on [redacted]'s statement once processed by the credit union.

Company states: She filed a claim through the warranty process. She was paid out for what she brought the receipts for. The company does not do a full pay out which was explained to her at the time. The labor claim was reimbursed. We had already told her about that. We do not know anything about the...

storage fees.
