Tell us why here...[redacted] leased the vehicle on April 25th, 2016. At that time the first payment was included in the deal. The contract had to be resigned and Hoffman Honda sent it overseas to him where he was deployed. The dealership received the contract back in May and sent it to Honda. The...

second payment was due so the dealership asked Honda to short fund the payment and Hoffman Honda would collect it from [redacted]e was due $1,000 for his trade equity and the dealership spoke with him and sent him a check for a net $599.03. This is broken down as the $1,000 for the trade in minus the $400.97 payment plus $30 to cover the expense to overnight Hoffman Honda the contract. This check was cut on May 6, 2016 and sent out after the dealership received the contract back from [redacted] in late May. The check was made out to [redacted] wife [redacted]

Understand that it was not the fact that I might have to pay them back for the monthly payment that they paid that I had issue with, but the companies refusal to discuss the situation with me and instead attacking my credit to get what they wanted. I am accepting their response because they have removed the late mark on my credit report and taken off the late fee they charged me.  Please let me know if you have further questions regarding this matter.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
I was denied access to my account while it was still in good standing with Autozone's Commercial Credit Department. The decision was clearly made by somebody out of the regional office to deny me use of my account as when I talked with Commercial Credit they saw no reason there should be any restrictions on my account.
Moreover, on their credit application there are spaces to fill in separate billing and delivery addresses. Since these 2 addresses are the same for my business, according to their response I should have been denied credit from day one.  Also, I know of several mobile mechanics that have been given lines of credit with at least one that regularly receives deliveries to his home from the same store and has been for years.
So I am still left asking why I'm being singled out.

Review: To whom it may concern, I would like to file a formal complaint against the management of the AutoZone located on 1900 Broadway in Sacramento, CA. The Manager who handled the transaction named [redacted] had a lack of professionalism and proceeded to chastise me for attempting to return an open box item that I did not use. To give further background on the incident I will start from the beginning. I originally made a purchase of 2 HID bulbs (3/2/15) for my 2005 Acura TSX because my driver side headlamp was out and I assumed the problem was with the bulbs. I get home, remove my front bumper and grill to reach the HID compartment and after removing the bad bulb upon further inspection, the bulb appeared to still be good. I tested the bulb on my passenger side headlight and it still worked, I found that the problem was actually from the Ballast. The problem is I had already opened the HID bulb boxes in preparation for a bulb change but I had not removed them from their boxes. Which brings me to last night, I returned to the Broadway store to make a return and I was directed to the store manager [redacted]. After informing him on the situation, [redacted] then proceeded to lecture me on returning items that have already been open going so far as to referring to the open boxes as good as garbage. At first he refused to honor a refund but then after some back and forth decided it would be okay to refund me for 1 box. I am deeply offended by the store managers lack of professionalism and his condescending attitude towards his customers. If anything can be done it would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund in full for the remaining HID Bulb that the store manager did not honor and for [redacted] to undergo additional management training to improve his customer service interactions with customers.

Review: Auto Zone did not return core or warranty return in a timely fashion and caused storage fees totaling $35.00/day. The transmission left the Broadway auto zone store and they left my transmission setting in there dist. warehouse between 5-28-15 and 6-10-15 causing All Trans remanufacturing a delay in making the proper amount of payment which should have totaled $725.00. I spoke with the manager [redacted] whom contacted the All Trans on 6/24 and they advised him they had just received my transmission, which had been almost a month later; therefore All Trans manufacturing did not reimburse me $725.00 to pay for the cost of labor, they only paid $330.00.Desired Settlement: I want Auto zone to take responsibility of me getting my vehicle out of the repair shop and pay the cost of $910.00 witch is half of the total storage fees being charged.

Business

Response:

Company states: She filed a claim through the warranty process. She was paid out for what she brought the receipts for. The company does not do a full pay out which was explained to her at the time. The labor claim was reimbursed. We had already told her about that. We do not know anything about the storage fees.

Review: On June 18, 2013 I had purchased an A/C compresor and system that was recommended by autobann performance repair shop.

On April 5, 2014 A/C compressor was making loud noise while a/c was on. Autobann performance checked a/c compressor and stated that compressor was coming apart internally and recommend replacing a/c compressor again. Went to autozone to get another a/c compressor.

On June 23, 2015 A/c compressor was making noise again while a/c was on. Autobann performance checked a/c compressor again and stated that it should be replace again. Autobahn performance replace a/c compressor with another brand (a/c Delco compressor).Desired Settlement: I would like for AutoZone to pay for the labor ($287.00) and I'll play for the new a/c compressor.

Thank you

Business

Response:

Business stated: "Unfortunately there is nothing we can do for this customer. he purchased the compressor from us, not us but Autozone and he said the compressor went bad and so we took care of it the 1st time. He went to a shop and did some work for his vehicle, then a year and a half later, he stated that his compressor went out again. We did not sell him a defective part. Out policy is parts are covered under a year. He contacted us after a year and a half. Plus, he needs to buy the warranty package from the shop he took the vehicle to so it could be covered under their warranty...thats what shops do they warren their work, but Im sure the shop market up the price of the warranty so he didn't buy it. We dont pay consumer for the labor they have to put into their vehicle. We are not responsible for replacing parts after the time frame "

Review: I went to autozone to purchase transmission fluid asked sales person if they could put it in jade I'm disabled they said yes the put it in then asked me to turn wheel I asked u do I have to do that for the transmission they thought I had said plastering fluid they then put transmission fluid in when I drove off about 3 miles me car became overheated and knocking severely I pulled over and turned it off it was smoking aswellasDesired Settlement: my car should be towed to shop by them and diagnosed cuz there was nothing wrong with my car prior to that

Business

Response:

Company states: She had car troubles and said she needed transmission fluid. We put it in and she drove home. She left and then the car gets jacked up and came back and alleging we damaged the vehicle. I contacted her with our District Manager and explained to her we are not liable for the damages.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: They are not telling the truth I never said I was haveing car problems I told them I needed some transmission fluid and what kind of truck I had he looked it up and followed me out to my truck and started putting it in a told me to turn my wheels??? I quickly told him I asked for transmission fluid not power steering fluid he stopped we went back in to get transmission fluid and continued to put it in he was so busy flirting with my daughter he obviously wasn't paying attention we pulled off and about 2 miles down the truck started knocking real hard and running hot I immedietly stopped and had the truck towed to my house. I was without transportation for 7 days till I could pay someone to fix it. I am disabled and missed 2 very important drs appts that I am still waiting for the rescheduled appts. My truck had no problems before that and it was total negligence on autozones part and I feel I should have been compensated in some type of way I am on a fixed income and should not have had to pay for towing and repairs!!! Thank. You

Review: I have been driving back and fourth from the northgate autozone and the fulton autozone to get a swap on a gas pump fuel pump for a 1998 dodge neon. I was told that they were going to swap it out they told me since they could not find me on the system and that it could have been an employee error that they typed my information wrong. The fulton autozone told me they will order the part so I can swap it out. I am getting no where and I need coporates help. All I want is a swap since I paid for a lifetime warranty part. How hard can it be

Review: I took my batter in to be check 04/14/2016. I go back for my battery 04/18/2016 they couldn't find it and the lady said that someone had picked it up and I told her that didn't a y one picked it up. Because I still had the ticket for the battery and then they said that I should have picked it up 4/15/2016 and that they was not a storage facility. They tell you not to lose your tickets because if you do they could find it, that's why I knew she lied about it being picked upDesired Settlement: I all ways go to auto zone to buy things for my autos

This is not the first time that this has happen
