I have canceled my membership two months agoI have spoke to a manager three timesTo only be told they lost the “yellow piece of paper” with all my personal information on it They caused my bank to be overdrawnI am highly upset and this is a huge issue to one charge me twice when I signed to cancel and to lose my information really is a huge security issue

My family and I have been members of this fitness club for over twenty years In January I underwent surgery and did not realize that they had increased the monthly fees It went from to $without notification I would like the fees lowered back to $
I would like the refund to be retroactive to the increase date of January of
I tried calling and they forward me on without resolve
Your assistance is greatly appreciated

I went in to sign up for a day trial which from my understanding was free but paid a dollar for which is neither here nor there, my main complaint was what I was apparently signed up for was a month contract which I didn't want because I wasn't 100% due I'd be able to afford it, I was correct so I went in before my days were up and canceled what I thought was a day trial, I then got an email saying I was in a month contract and would have to pay dollars to get out of, then after some corresponding I was told that I would have had to have cancelled days into my day trial which I was not told, or aware of, I also was told that the things I was signing were waivers, and fee agreements for the dollar, and rule agreements to adhere to about machine maintenance and such I was NOT told about signing a year contract, or that I had to cancel days after signing up

I have a family membership with Cal fitI started this family membership since Apr/In the months I or anyone in family used the facility in Folsom maximum times just to use the pool with the kids I was allowed to freeze my account for months as I was not planning to use the facility during winter timeNow the months have ended and my membership is again active as per contract (max times months a year)
I went to the Folsom facility today to close my account as I was not planning to use it in the near futureWhen I went there I was told I must keep my membership for at least one year as per contractOnly thing I remember in my contract was I have to pay first and last monthThere was no minimum month contractAnd I was asked to pay for the months including the months the account was on freeze in order to cancel

I was shopping around for a new gym membership and visited this location to see what kind of prices they offerI sat down with a sales representative but the only price they could offer was far higher than I was looking to payThe sales rep informed me that there was another Cal Fit gym in Rocklin that I could get possibly get a cheaper membership at, but it was quite a bit further awayThe sales rep then said if I were interested, I could sign up for a trial membership for one dollarI agreed to give it a try and signed up for what I believed was a trial membership, as the sales rep indicatedI had tried going to the gym on two occasions but it was far too busy and expensive and I decided to look elsewhereI emailed the sales rep around Aug to discontinue the trial membership as instructed but never got a reply back and figured that was the end of itAbout a week or so later, I received an email from the Cal Fit corporate office informing me my credit card was declinedThi

I have been a member since the opening at the California Family Fitness at Innovator Drive in Sacramento On 09/30/between and PM my vehicle was broken into I was parked near the front entrance on 10/01/when I figured out what had happen I reported it to the front desk staff The staff member had me write down my information and some one will get back to me I asked if they could save or look at the video footage No manager was alertedI was only told someone would get back to me I own a Chey Tahoe the same type of vehicle that has been consistently robbed at the same location Cal Fit charges a lot of money for memberships I understand not to leave valuables in your vehicle In my case the suspects got away with about dollars and my CA drivers licenseBut the members who attend this location have jobs, valuables and nice vehicles We are treated like we are nothing???? This location is unsafe! And I know the video footage is either deleted or the staff did not detect anything, common Cal Fit practice But they can come and see my drivers side door

Where do I begin? First, I signed up on 10/3/for a gold level account for two people at a rate of $per month, as a government employeeOn 10/14/17, I submitted my proof of employment and received confirmation that it had been processedOn 10/17/16, I was charged $This is a $overchargeOn three different occasions, I raised the issue with staff and they always said it would be credited back to my account - four months later I still haven't been credited
Next, I signed up for a Diamond account at $210/ moWhen I signed up I was told EXPLICITLY that I could change back to a gold account at any time, and stay within my existing contractThe diamond membership was full of problems! For example, on three different occasions I called the Elk Grove location to try to get my hydrostatic testing and each time they said the machine was brokenWhen I finally asked when it would be fixed, the man responded "Oh I don't know, it's been broken for a long, long time." I was sick and went into the Midtown CFF on a sunday afternoonThe front desk attendant kindly had me fill out a guest form, took a copy of my photo ID and had me take a seat to meet with a membership coordinator for a tourAfter waiting mins., he apologized and stated that they were shortstaffed,, busy and that I could work out and meet with a membership coordinator after the day trialGREAT! However, the next day, a Monday - I went in again and the club supervisor and the assistant sales manager were so rude when I first came in, they had me fill out ANOTHER guest form and ANOTHER copy of my photo ID (It makes me worry about my information I gave them the day prior) and had me wait to meet with the Assistant Sales ManagerAt this time, I was with my boyfriend and we sat down with him explaining to him that we were testing the waters and wanted to see what that location had to offerAfter he asked us, "What are we looking for in a club?" We explained to him that environment

I cancelled my gym membership about months ago I received a cancellation email and a letter stating iOS zero balance I have received within the last weeks I have received phone calls text messages emails and letters from California Family Fitness saying that I owe over $in cancellation fees and late feesThis is ridiculous because my membership has been cancelled for over four monthThis is a scam they're committing fraud, when you purchase the membership they're so nice to you but then when you're trying to cancel they do whatever is in their power to overcharge you to charge you more for something that has been cancelledThis gym needs get fined they're not honest to their customers about cancelationsI want nothing to do with this gym

I sign up for family fitness on march 13, the only reason I sign up was because the girl told me I can bring people to work out with me for $i asked her how long do I have to cancel if I don't like it and she said one weeki went in on the 6th day after I sign up to cancel since I couldn't gather up people to come with me and they told me I have to pay $since the free cancellation was only days after signing up I told the employee that the girl who signed me up told me I had days to cancel and he said he couldn't do anything about itI called corporate and they basically told me the same thingI made the effort to bring people in with me afterwards and they told me they had to be under the age of something the girl I sign up with nor corporate told me about, they only said I can bring people they never specified the ageI am really disappointed and stressed out because they lied to me twice just to get me to sign up on top of all this I never got a co

I put a freeze on my account, per instructions with notice over the phone, as well as by emailI was assured I would not be charged, but come the 3rd I was charged anywaysThey said they would issue that refundI called on Saturday and they said they were still working on authorizing the refund on the corporate level and I may see a check in a week or twoI called saying I wanted to cancel but they said I would have to go in to talk to a supervisor when they're in Sunday, so I couldn't do it over the phoneCalled today to check on refund, told to try when a supervisor is thereI'm getting an awful lot of fun around and I've waited days so far and as far as I can tell I don't even know if the refund is going to be approved

I have been both calling and physically going into the gym for over months trying to change my membership planMy children have not used the gym in over a year and my husband has not gone eitherI have been trying to change my membership to s single gym location membership only for just myself When I go to the gym I am always told that the sales mangers are "busy, "out of office", "with other customers"etc and when I call I have to leave a message for a manager that is NEVER returnedI even put forth a negative survey and someone from corporate called me to discussI explained my issue once again and was told she would make sure it was taken care ofIt never has beenI am still paying for a family membership and they refuse to change itI want a single membership for the location in Roseville off of Foothills for the $rate I want the last months refunded the difference in membership cost

I paid via credit card for one year membership for individuals and received a signed contractAfter months I saw a charge on my credit card for membership dues with California Family Fitness - Folsom The front verified the charge was for dues owedThe contract pulled where I pointed out that where it clearly states one year membership and a total paid amount I have credit statement showing full amount paid After investigation, the staff at the business told me that the amount was wrong and there was nothing they could do about it and that I would owe more money I challenged the charge with my credit card company and denied the fraudulent charge due to the fact that I have a signed contract California Family Fit does not have authority to charge on my credit card Further, the staff acknowledged that they made a mistake in their calculations (saved emails verifying acknowledgement)but would not do anything about it

I contacted *** *** at Calfit to cancel my membershipI was no longer in a contract and was paying per month Summer offered me a per month membership if I agreed to that price for months I agreed and she told me that she would give me a pro rated $back for my july payment and that it would now bill at At the time I was only using the gym time per month The Aug payment billed for When I went into calfit natomas in august they said I needed to sign a new contract Every time I asked to sign one it was too late in the evening and no one was able to do it for me September, the same thing happends By october billing of I contact corporate office I speak with a *** *** and he tells me that I need to cancel in writing I email him and his boss *** *** an email cancelling on 10/ By november I went to calfit natomas to use the gym and confirm that my membership was cancelled I spoke with a woman ***@calfamfit

I got hurt at the gymNeeded two surgeries and several months of rehabilitationI informed the gym I would be gone for a while and to put a hold on my accountI was told by both local gym management as well as corporate that they not d my account and everything was fineUpon trying to return to the gym they want me to pay various fees for bad debt

I have tried to cancel my membership with this company and they said it must be done in person The only thing they would allow is removing my payment information They advised that I owed a past due balance even though I have clearly tried to cancel for some time worst customer service I have ever experienced with the increase in fees and terrible customer service I would steer clear of this place Ill be contacting all of my friends and family to make them aware of this

Initially California Family Fitness participated in PublicEvent that happened @Folsom and I went there and seen the Board and mentioned that $fee for 1st month Also mentioned that Its trial period and never mentioned that Cancellation fee will be applied
Also I didn't even went to Center for Service but they charged on monthly basis While I reach one of Manager His name *** Spoke in harsh communication and asked forcibly to pay $for cancellation He never told initially and when I spoke with him always not listening my concerns and forcibly telling need to pay $I explained that You never told at initially before sign and he only filled contract for YrPlease help me in this regard as I am family person I can't bear this and its burden to me

I contacted their corporate office to inform them I was cancelling my membership today due to moving and not utilizing the gym or servicesMy last visit was on 03/30/as documented in an email when I check in and visitI had a year contract from 11/11/to 11/11/that went month to month after the contract endedI made the telephone call to their corporate office on 05/04/to cancel, the girl stated to send in a written cancellation notice, which is fine but then she proceeds to tell me that I will be billed for another month for cancellingWhen I asked her why, she replied this is standard and I am being penalizedPenalized for what?
