I was given a tour of the gym facility on September 5th by the Sales Manager *** ***I had fractured a bone in my foot and was looking around for a new gym, but was unable at that time to startHe pressured me into signing a contract, but assured me verbally that I have until September 24th to cancel, since we set the start date for my membership as September 17thI then found out from my doctor that my foot had not recovered enough to start exercising again, so I cancelled my membership on September 20thThen on September 26th, I got an email saying that I owed a $termination feeAfter calling several times, and speaking with managers there, they have been unwilling to drop the fee

My place of employment has a corpate contract with them they are suppose to deal with them only, but instead they signed me up for two different memberships and been taking money from my personal bank account I tried to call and have this corrected only to be lied to and hung up on I have emails stating they would take care of this but only took more money from my accountIt's up to $they have took from my bank account I have NOT been to any of their locations ever in my life

My husband *** *** sign up for California Family Fitness located in Sunrise Blvd, Rancho CordovaDuring at the time, this company has a promotionHe signed on Oct 7, The associate stated to him "we are going to prorate the charges from Octto your first month installment." My husband said "ok"Because of his job, he has no time to use the facilitiesMy husband cancelled his membership Oct 22, The associate told him, he can still use the facility till the end of the month because is already paid forOctober 31st I saw a charge of $on my accountI called the facility and told them that we cancelled the membershipThe associate told me that, we need to give them a days noticeSo, I told them, A what "days notice" you have not told or explained to us that days noticeIt was not stated on the agreement and no one told us that at the beginning when we signed upOne associate come and say "Oh they pay their first month pay but not the signed

I joined California Family Fitness when the Elk Grove/Bond center was being builtThey were offering a promo at that time, the club wasn't even completed and I joined in a trailer they had set up in the parking lot
According to the contract that I signed , my membership dues would remain at $per month for the entire time that I remain a member Last month I noticed an increase in my membership that was taken out of my automatic payment My contract is not being honored by the increase in my membership duesAlso, I wasn't informed of the increase and I did not , nor would I give them permission to change the amount automatically withdrawn from my checking account
I have tried to contact them via email two separate times , with no response from them
All I want from them is to continue to honor the contract that was made with California Family Fitness

I signed up for a month to month membership and am not under any kind of a contract I had surgery on 3/14/on my left foot and wasn't able to exercise I called to cancel or suspend and was told I should suspend so that I could get the same rates when I reinstated That made sense to me and I was suspended for what I thought would be as long as I needed and I would be able to reinstate after my recovery period The recovery period for me was underestimated and due to some complications, it was also extended When I was preparing my taxes for 2017, I noticed that California Family Fitness had started to debit my checking account starting on 7/17/ I was never told that my membership was reinstated I wasn't notified in any way that I would be charged If I knew that I would be charged, I would have just cancelled because again, I was under no obligation to continue and I wasn't prepared for any exercise I called when I saw the charges from the last six months and I called
