Review: I had ordered this serum/moisturizer, after one month I had to quit using it. I have very sensitive skin, I started getting under skin bumps, not pimples . . . bumps! in the past 6 months I have tried 3 times to cancel my orders and subscription with them . . Bellalabs! everytime I tried to cancel it would tell me this cancellation cannot occur in big red letters. my personal account still gets charged like clock work every month, then about a week later the pkg shows up in the mail. as mater fact I received one today, was so angry I shoved it back into my mailbox and put flag up to be picked up and sent back. im fed up with the response of the cancellation cannot occur and then not being able to reach them. something has to be done now! please!! my husband has even went as far as talking to our bank and having them stop the payment for this facial item, they were only able to stop it once.Desired Settlement: refund for atleast this last one they sent me today 8/17/2015 and make a final cancellation of these orders and subscriptions!! thank you!

At BellaLabs, every customer is given the option to try their first 30 day supply without charge for 10 days after receiving their order. During the 10 days, if the customer is not satisfied with their product, they are to contact customer service via phone or email with a notice of cancellation and the product must be postmarked for return within those 10 days. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after 10 days from the date of delivery, they are automatically billed for the product and then billed and shipped a new 30 day supply every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at any time by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on www.bellalabs.com, the product, the pamphlet that arrives with their order, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on www.bellalabs.com where the customer would have ordered the product. The customer also has to click “I agree to the terms and conditions” twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not click the box to agree with the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website, at the bottom of the first page, and also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their billing information, as well as sent out with the product. The customer placed the order on 8/01/2014. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 for shipping and handling and this began the trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply they were sent. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 8/16/2014 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. As the consumer has never reached out to customer service requesting any cancellations, her account continued to be charged and shipped new bottles on a 30 day cycle, with the most recent charge having been on 8/11/2015. We have refunded the amount requetsed, $87.63, due to this complaint, however we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their order. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis card with our contact information, with each order. Terms and conditions are located on all ordering websites, and should be read as they are there for a reason. Please refer to our website, www.bellalabs.com or www.bellalabs.com/main/index.php. Below is a brief explanation of our terms and conditions:Terms and ConditionsYou will have 10 days from the date you receive your bottle to decide if BellaLabs is right for you. You must pay a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 for us to send you a full 30 day supply of BellaLabs. We ship the product the day after you place the order (orders placed Saturday-Sunday will be shipped the following Monday). If you are unhappy with the product at any time during those 10 days, you must call us at 1-877-767-9942 and cancel your order to avoid being billed for the full cost of the product. If you are satisfied with our product, then do nothing and we will bill you $87.63 for your initial order, and every 30 days thereafter we will send you a new 30 day supply of the product for $87.63. To cancel automatic delivery and billing, please call us at 1-877-767-9942 during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm PST) or email us at [email protected]. Review: I responded to an advertisement for a trial subscription of the product. Full pricing was not noted during the process at check-out. A full charge plus trial charge was added to my account. Terms and conditions was not noted with shipment. This was apparent once I received my billing. Their check out process is set up for you to overlook their billing tactics.Desired Settlement: A refund of the trial price or a refund of subscription price. Also a full disclosure of billing at check-out.

Review: Skin care product advertised on the web for 3 weeks free trial pay only shipping. It was on the [redacted] website where many free offers are posted along with the sample in the mail to your door. I gave my credit card number because for the most part the offers on the website are safe; and the companies like [redacted] etc are reputable business.

I received the product in the US mail and it smelled a little alright. I figure it is the heat in [redacted]. causing it to give off a scent.

The point is I paid the shipping. Inserted was a pamphlet that stated an automatic shipment monthly. They also only want to give it 10 days and then charge$87.63 and send future shipments of same.

That is not what advertised and I do not want something that expensive.Desired Settlement: I feel they shouldn't be advertised on a freebie website. It is false advertising and deceptive' isn't? I do not want to pay anything other than the shipping fee to me because that is what it said. Also I called and was put on hold so I couldn't cancel further shipments. I signed up for 1 (one) free trial size product. not an $87.63 bottle or jar of creme.

What I expect is no further bills or anymore cream sent or have to buy or return the free trial sample.

I have read many other complaints about Bella Labs and nothing has been done. They advertised on FB for a sample (small S&H fee) and deceivingly end up charging you $88 for the product if you do not discontinue the product with in 10 days. They advertise with another company call La Creme and that company cons you using the same exact method. So now I was charged $176 for both of the products. Sadly, the credit card company I used will not dispute the charge because of a small box that I supposedly didn't check.

Ironically, when I ordered the product there seemed to be "technical glitches." I am certain that box was not there to check when I placed the order.

To add insult to injury, the product is disgusting, smells horrible and wasn't even worth the initial S&H costs either! I threw it in the garbage immediately.

Review: I ordered a "free" sample of moisterizing creme from Bellalabs. I gave them my credit card number to charge the $4.99 shipping fee. When the creme arrived, included with a bunch of other ads was a tiny 3" by 4" card with microscopic writing. Using a magnifying glass, I read that I had 14 days to cancel or I would be charge 87.50 for this sample and sent another every month for $87.50 a month. I immediately called and cancelled. However, the operator told me I had to return the sample or I would be charged the $87.50. This to me is fraud, false advertising, and just wrong. Obviously the vendor can't let the product stand on its own merits but must try to fool people into spending money. I think they should be required to state these terms on the original offer in a way that is obvious. I am not incurring the time or expenses of returning the sample and I will fight the charge with my credit card company. Please do something about this company's practices. Thank you, [redacted]Desired Settlement: Do not charge my credit card and change the offer to reflect the reality of the deal, and not hide it in little tiny writing meant to be overlooked.

Review: On 11/20/13 I ordered a "TRIAL" of a face cream for $4.95 shipping and handling over the internet. On 12/03/14 my credit card was charged $87.63. I barely received the "TRIAL" offer before they charged me the full price for this product. What kind of a trial offer is that? When I tried calling these people at ###-###-#### and the phone was constantly busy. I notified my credit card company by mail to reverse this charge, which has not yet happened as they investigate. I also sent a copy of the letter sent to my credit card company to Bellalabs at the address on their product, PO Box 99852, San Diego, CA 92169 so that I do not receive any additional charges to my credit card which I have not. They were quick to send me an email that they had shipped out the trial offer, but never informed me that they also on 12/03/14 charged my credit card again. This was totally false advertisement. They also suggested that the face cream also be used with [redacted], so I ordered both products and both of them charged my credit card for the trial offer at full price. They have a very good scam going here. At least I was able to contact [redacted] and they took care of my problem with them. I feel that both companies are disreputable and consumers should be made aware of this false advertisement.Desired Settlement: I just want the Revdex.com to know of this scam by this company so that possibly consumers can be alerted.

The product needs to be in the mail postmarked by February 5, 2014 for the full cancellation. If there are any further questions, feel free to contact us. Thank you.

Review: This company is a rip off. False advertising - they advertise a FREE 30 day trial for a $4.95 postage/handling fee but when you get the product they send a "terms and conditions" card that states you have to return the product within 2 weeks of receipt or you will be billed approximately $87 for the "free trial" bottle received and you must cancel the membership. This was deceptive advertising as there is no such thing as a "FREE" trial. When I called to question the "free trial" I was told to send the bottle back. I see no reason why I must go to the post office, stand in line, and pay the shipping costs to return the item all due to deceptive advertising.Desired Settlement: I will not agree to $87 per month for any product that is advertised deceptively and I do not want to return the product. They will not send my bottle to anyone else - they will most likely dispose of it. They just want to make it inconvenient to punish anyone who does not aggree to subscribe to their product using deceptive advertising. I want my $4.95 shipping refunded also.

Review: I was signing up for a free product for a charge of only 4.95 and nowhere on the website was it clearly stated that there was a monthly subscription or it was just a 14 day trial that started on the VERY day that I bought it. The companies fraudulant practice of a trial that starts before receiving is bad business and nothing in the shipment confirmed the term and conditions of their cream either. I called them asking for a refund and one said they wouldn't refund. Another customer representative would only refund 20% and neither were friendly in handling the situation. This made me extremely upset. I made a claim with my credit card company but they did not help me. This is the reason for the delay in filing a complaint with the BB while waiting for a decision from my credit card company, which they advised me not to send the product back or would have done sooner. I have since sent the product back unused and unopened. La Creme and Bellalabs say they both have to be used together, but claim they have no association.Desired Settlement: I want my credit card refunded for both Bellalabs and Lacreme. They have their merchandise back in the same original condition. There is no loss occurred by this company.

Review: On 6/13/15 I ordered a free sample of a skin care product online from Bella Labs. The offer was for one free sample with a $4.95 shipping and handling charge. I received and started to use the product, then on my most recent credit card bill I found a charge of $87.63 billed 6/28. Contacted the company by phone today and was informed by the phone representative that there was an agreement in the offer to 1) respond within a certain number of days, now past, to prevent full charge for the product, and 2) accept future monthly shipments of the same product for the same price. These terms were not shown in the ad or in the order confirmation. In addition he told me that the second installment had already shipped. It has not arrived yet, but I have indeed been billed another $87.63 as of 7/28. I requested a full refund, as total charges now come to $175.26. Representative offered a 25% refund on the second shipment only ($21.91) and agreed to discontinue future shipments. I have received an email confirmation (#[redacted]) to that effect. I am requesting a full refund of the remaining charges ($153.35).Desired Settlement: Refund of $153.35.

Response:

This is my second complaint regarding this company. I filed the earlier complaint in 7/2015 requesting Revdex.com's assistance in obtaining a refund for the purchase price of one Bella Labs facial cream. Purchase had been made online. Advertisement I responded to offered a free sample of the product if customer paid shipping and handling, approximately $5.00. I ordered with a charge card and received the product. I then found that my credit card had been charged $87.63. I called the company and requested a refund based on the fact that the offer was for a free sample. Representative told me that I would have had to respond within a certain number of days or be charged $87.63. I explained that the ad I had seen gave no indication that this was the condition under which a sample would be sent. I requested my full payment be refunded. The company agreed only to refund 25% of the price, which they did on 8.3.15. I then contacted Revdex.com and on 8.10.15 the company refunded the remainder of the amount charged to my credit card for that first shipment. So that part of the complaint has been satisfied. However, the firm had also placed me on a monthly automatic shipment plan and I was told the second shipment was already in the mail and my credit card had been charged another $87.63. I requested that I be removed from the automatic plan and that the full amount of the second shipment be refunded. They agreed to stop the automatic shipments, but did not agree to refund the second charge. When the package arrived, I refused it unopened and, per [redacted] tracking records, it was received back by Bella Labs on 8.8.15. I am requesting your assistance to have the company refund the second charge of $87.63 made to my credit card on 7.28.15.Refund of $87.63.

Review: I answered a survey for our bank and was to receive a free gift. I selected a face cream. I had to pay 4.95 for shipping. I charged my credit card. since then I believe this was in Feb.in April, and again in May charges of approx. 89.63 on my card. ( this may not be exact amount but very close)I did receive a bottle of the product today that I did not order and I am returning it today also. I called my credit card co and they have removed the charges and blocked any further charges from this co.I did call the Bellalab co. and was on hold for over 30 min. and then prompted to leave a message and they would return the call. I have not received the call back. I think other people should be aware of their unauthorized practices. thank youDesired Settlement: They must make sure that all charges are reversed and no further charges put on my credit card

At Bella Labs every customer is given the right to try their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. After the 14 day trial period, if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at anytime by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on bellalabs.com, the product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on bellalabs.com where the customer would have ordered their product. The customer has to also click "I agree to the terms and conditions" twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not "agree" to the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website not only on the bottom of the first page, but also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their card information as well as sent out with the product. We also the terms inside of each package.

Review: BellaLabs advertises that all you pay for is $4.95 for a 14-day Trial Offer on instant wrinkle reducer. I ordered it Oct. 10th 2014. I received it October 17th and say that you must call within 14 days or the original order date to cancel to avoid being billed $87.63. I called October 19th to cancel and after speaking with "[redacted]" he said I would have to send back the remaining product or pay $43.82 to keep the product! Nowhere does it say on the advertising that the product will cost you a minimum of $43.82 . Now does it say anything about a return cost on the pamplet inserted in the mailing. My problem is that they never say on any of their advertising if you are unsatisfied that you must return the product.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me a years supply of the product FREE- it's a great product - but "[redacted]" the manager was rude and condescending and said I was being very difficult . Horrible people there and their ad is totally misleading. Plus they have my credit card info and I do not trust this company that is representing the product.

Business

Response:

On the website, the price to keep the product is actually $87.63. In customer service, we can offer a 50% promotional discounted price to keep the product. The consumer has the option to either keep the product for a charge, or return the remainder. It is a full 30-day product supply offered on a 14-day trial basis. There was some confusion in the call about when to return the item, and we apologize if the call was escalated in any manner. As a courtesy, we will allow the consumer to keep the product for free, and her charge of $4.95 was refunded on 10/19 in full due to the conversation with the supervisor. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The Terms and Conditions are 6 pages long which [redacted] from BellaLabs condescendingly stated "didn't I read contracts before I sign them". [redacted] from BellaLabs also insisted I must return the product postmarked by Oct 24th,2014 or I would be charged $43.82. I returned it postmarked October 21st,2014. Their response is clearly an outright lie. They have taped recordings - please ask for it. See attached web ad and flyer that was in the shipment. No where on the package or on the order does it state " If you are

unsatisfied please return to Bella Labs". Nor does it state anywhere that

if you keep the remaining portion you will be charged $43.82! The

advertising by BellaLabs Face Cream is in conjunction with La Creme and

they mislead the consumer that all you pay for is the shipping . The

order arrived 8 days into the trial period of 14 days!

Review: After canceling product from this company, in June 2014, they still send product and charge my debit card. I have paperwork, notes, from telephone conversation when I cancelled their product, stating I no longer wanted the product shipped to me on auto ship. Stopped the product and paid remaining balance to the company. Without my authorization, they sent product , which I received on August 29, 2014. Did not order it, cancelled existing order in June by phone and they charged my debit card for shipping. Unless I send it back in 14 days they will charge me $89.00 for the product.Desired Settlement: The company stop sending products to my home and stop billing my debit card. Take my name off of mailing list and never send product to me again.

Response:

The consumer placed the original 14-day trial order on 04/30/14. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 and this began the 14 day trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted trial period, the consumer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 05/21/14 as explained in the terms and conditions for which they agreed to. The monthly membership for the Bellalabs product recurred on 06/20/14, 07/23/14. The consumer contacted our company on 07/24/14 with a request for cancellation. The account was supposed to have been cancelled that date, but it was left open in error. We will have a conversation with the representative and we do apologize for any inconvenience. The account had another charge of $87.63 applied on 08/25/14. We have issued a full refund of $87.63 from 08/25/14. The customer will receive an e-mail confirmation to verify the cancellation and the refund. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back onto the account. She will not receive any other billing or shipping. And she is welcome to keep the product as a courtesy for our error.

Review: I [redacted] responded to ad about an offer for wrinkle cream stating that is free trial however I would be charged for shipping&handling $4.95 so credit card was needed so to continue. On 10-15-213 viewing my citisimplicity credit card for two separate charges in amount of $87.63 I immediately called the bank to alert them about un authorized charges.Bank employee by name [redacted] called the customer service phone 877-767-9942 the call was recorded, and at that time I found out that the "free trial" was for 14 days and my account wont be credited since the cancelation was not received by the company.Order was placed online on September 30 2013. Next day 10-16 -2013 another attempt was to resolve issue which again was not in my favor. Sadly that companies have to resort in rip-off involving senior citizens who are most vulnerable to this kind of scams. Thank you for your time and effort in resolving my issue. Lesson learned that whatever Dr. Oz suggest is not necessary "breakthrough" in latest skin care but an opportunity for bad experience, never again!

Respectfully Yours, [redacted]Desired Settlement: Would like my monies to be credited to the same card they charged. Cancellation are in place for both products so no revolving charges will appear.

Review: I went online and ordered a free sample product of skin cream, it was supposed to be free and I only paid the S&H of $4.95 a couple of weeks later I became aware they had charged my credit card for $87.63. I did not sign any contract so did some research and found this company has many complaints about their business practice. I have disputed the charges and sent an email to them instructing them to never send me more product and if they think I joined some kind of monthly subscription deal to cancel it. I think from the number of complaints I read about someone should have already put these folks out of business. They are scamming people. These people tell you that their product needs to be used with another product for best results, so theyseem to be partnered with another company called LaCreme that did the same thing to me, I will file different complaint on them.Desired Settlement: I would like to see these people reprimanded for their underhanded business practices. You shouldn't advertise and imply a product is free and then come back and charge for them.

Review: While placing an order on [redacted], a pop-up appeared indicating that if I answered a survey, I would receive a free gift. That "gift" was a free trial of facial cream from Bella Labs. I only had to pay $4.95 shipping, which I agreed to. But, on 1/11/2016 Bella Labs posted a charge of $87.63 to my Mastercard account, which I never authorized. I want this charge removed from my account, and no further charges made. Any subscription for BellaLabs products should be cancelled immediately.

When I called Costco about this, I was told that they have no business relationship with Bella Labs, that they are aware that this is a "phishing" scam, and they are taking steps to prevent a recurrence.Desired Settlement: A refund of $87.63 and cancellation of any subscriptions that Bella Labs has started in my name.

Review: On or about June 24, 2015, we accepted Bella Labs Wrinkle Reducer email 14 day trial offer (30 day supply) for $4.95 shipping. While preparing this email offer acceptance, we did NOT agree to any specific terms/conditions as they suggest. Nor did their 3 page color ad show specific terms/conditions. IF the offer HAD INCLUDED the terms that later surfaced, we would have NEVER accepted it. What started out as being a one-time trial offer for $4.95 was twisted around by Bella Labs into an ongoing monthly $87.63 enrichment for Bella. On June 24th, Bella Labs sent us an email order confirmation showing "Order Total $4.95." On Jun 25th, we paid the $4.95 shipping via charge card. UNKNOWN TO US, on Jul 10, Bella Labs charged our charge card $87.63 which we did not learn of until we received our charge card statement approx. Aug 11th. We telephoned Bella Labs requesting that they credit back our card for the $87.63 as we had already paid the agreed upon $4.95 trial offer shipping. They declined stating that we had agreed to the "ongoing program" and monthly shipment charges which is absolutely untrue. Then they offered to reduce it to 1/2 price or $43.82 which we declined. HAD BELLA LABS HONESTLY OUTLINED THEIR OFFER AND TERMS IN THEIR 3 PAGE COLOR AD WE WOULD HAVE NEVER ACCEPTED IT. The fact that there are almost 200 Revdex.com complaints against Bella Labs, mainly involving advertising issues, suggests there are some real advertising ethics concerns at Bella Labs. We have now learned that on Aug 10, Bella Labs has charged our charge card another $87.63. We have informed Bella Labs to discontinue any more shipments to us and on Aug 15, we returned all product to them via Priority Mail. We suspect that Bella Labs and La Crème Skin Care are both business connected/related as their programs are too similar to be a coincidence. La Crème also has many Revdex.com complaints against them and we are also filing a separate complaint against La Crème for essentially the same problems.Desired Settlement: We want Bella Labs to issue credit to our charge card for any charges they have applied other than the originally agreed upon $4.95 shipping.

Very deceptive practices. very vague language hidden in small print on the website. The product says you will see a results in 30 days but you only get 14 days from when you order the product and it ships in 10 days. Therefore, you have 4 days to try a product that is supposed to give you results in 30 days. Once you don't realize that the 14 days has expired and you didn't return the product, they begin to charge you $87 per month. After realizing this deceptive practice we called Bella Labs to ask for a refund and that we would return all of the unused product I was encountered with a script response about their policies and procedures and that they would only refund 50% of the latest charge. I called our credit card company and they were able to reverse these charges immediately. This is why you always use a good credit card for these type of transactions. Do not conduct business with these scamp artists!

After requesting sample was billed $90.00 for sample size skin care cream. After receiving fraud alert from credit card ,check charges and was charged. When the sample arrived it did not contain any info regarding charges. They refuse to take off charges.

Review: My complaint will sound very much like the other 108 or so that you have received about this company's advertising tactics. In big print there add says, "A 30 Day Supply - order your Free Trial Now!" What one doesn't see unless you read closely is that the free trial is only for 14 days and if you don't cancel by then they charge you the full $87.63 so in reality NOTHING was FREE. Worse yet the small print goes on to say that they will continue sending you and charging you until you cancel. So if you don't catch the first charge on your credit card you don't realize it until the next shipment arrives and they have already charged your card for another. $87.63. They make it so that you have to accept these conditions before they will send you that fantastic Free Product. All though this may technically be legal it is a bait and switch and very shady practice. After receiving the 2nd shipment I immediately contacted the company and got back their standard form response basically saying, GOTTCHA!!! But now that we've got your $175.26 we will be happy to cancel your plan and not charge you any further. They will not allow me to return the newly arrived unopened package. And the worst part of it all is that I have been using the product and DON'T SEE THAT IT WORKS AT ALL!

I would like a full refund of the $175.26 and pressure put on this company to change their advertising practices.

Review: Advertised as free sample, received sample, then had 87.65 dollars taken out of my bank account without warning, no invoice, no billing. Just debited from account.Called number of pamphlet only to hear that I must cancel and my money was already debited.I asked to speak to manager, I'm told there is none. This was a total scam with me ending up not having money in the bank for bills now due. The sister company [redacted] also in San Diego has done the exact same thing, debited my bank account another 87.65 for their "free" sample.Desired Settlement: I will be late in paying my car and health insurance this week.I am hoping that I actually receive the refunds and want to have the two debits of $87.62 totaling $175.26 back in my account by 2/27/15 so I can avoid paying penalties for the bills I cannot pay when due

The customer placed the order on 01/04/15. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 for shipping and handling and this began the trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply they were sent. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 01/19/15 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. The monthly membership for Bellalabs recurred successfully on 02/18/15 for $87.63. The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 02/23/15 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent refunded the amount of $87.63 from 02/18/15 that day. Once a refund is processed, it takes 3-7 business days for it to be credited back to the customer’s account. We have refunded the remainder of the amount of $87.63 from 01/19/15, due to this complaint, however we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their order. Please read our terms and conditions for more details.
