Review: This business does false advertising and is a scam! I filled out a form that gave me a "trial" of the product for a certain amount of money. They then continued to send me the product and charge my credit card $87/month because I didn't cancel it, but the form I filled out never said anything about having to (it only says it on their website). When I called to report this issue, I asked for the name of the salesperson and he only told me his first name and refused to tell me the name of his supervisor. Businesses should not be allowed to practice like this. I have been reading online about this "business" and everyone is having the same experience.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and also for Revdex.com to record my complaint so others can be aware.

At BellaLabs, every customer is given the option to try their first 30 day supply without charge for 10 days after receiving their order. During the 10 days, if the customer is not satisfied with their product, they are to contact customer service via phone or email with a notice of cancellation and the product must be postmarked for return within those 10 days. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after 10 days from the date of delivery, they are automatically billed for the product and then billed and shipped a new 30 day supply every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at any time by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on www.bellalabs.com, the product, the pamphlet that arrives with their order, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on www.bellalabs.com where the customer would have ordered the product. The customer also has to click “I agree to the terms and conditions” twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not click the box to agree with the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website, at the bottom of the first page, and also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their billing information, as well as sent out with the product. The customer placed the order on 4/03/2015. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 for shipping and handling and this began the trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply they were sent. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 4/18/2015 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. Once again, there were not any notifications of a request for cancellation in the months to come, so the customer was automatically billed for replenishment bottles every 30 days thereafter, with the most recent charge being on 7/17/2015. The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 7/24/2015 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. Based on the nature of the call the customer service agent refunded two charges of $87.63, totaling $175.26, that same day. Once a refund is processed, it takes 3-7 business days for it to be credited back to the customer’s account. We stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their order. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis card with our contact information, with each order. Terms and conditions are located on all ordering websites, and should be read as they are there for a reason. Please refer to our website, www.bellalabs.com or www.bellalabs.com/main/index.php. Below is a brief explanation of our terms and conditions:Terms and ConditionsYou will have 10 days from the date you receive your bottle to decide if BellaLabs is right for you. You must pay a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 for us to send you a full 30 day supply of BellaLabs. We ship the product the day after you place the order (orders placed Saturday-Sunday will be shipped the following Monday). If you are unhappy with the product at any time during those 10 days, you must call us at 1-877-767-9942 and cancel your order to avoid being billed for the full cost of the product. If you are satisfied with our product, then do nothing and we will bill you $87.63 for your initial order, and every 30 days thereafter we will send you a new 30 day supply of the product for $87.63. To cancel automatic delivery and billing, please call us at 1-877-767-9942 during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm PST) or email us at [email protected]. Please read our terms and conditions for more details.

Review: My wife's been using their product for quite some time now. Bellalabs website offers various ways to purchase their product. We always buy in bulk because they give you a better discount when you buy more on a one time purchase. We recently attempted to make a bulk purchase and we were refused. Their explanation was that they are accusing us of selling their product on [redacted]. I've asked for proof numerous times and have many emails back and forth because this might be fraud against us and they refuse to cooperate with us. They have not provided any proof whatsoever of their accusations. They did say that they would lift the ban for this time only. They want us to purchase their product one unit at a time and not in bulk order. I intend to file a police report because I believe that someone in their organization may be using our name for profit and they are not investigating this at all. My wife uses the product because it works but we're being extorted into paying top dollar and they are refusing to sell to us at a discount.Desired Settlement: I want proof of their accusations. They're allowing us to buy one unit at a time, why then are we not banned entirely from their website? Makes no sense. We want our name cleared of third party selling on [redacted], which we do not do. I want an internal investigation on fraudulent use of our name for benefit. We intend to file a police report if we get no resolution. We also want to be able to purchase the product again at the discounted price with no restrictions. We want answers and results and we are taking this very seriously.

Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion on our behalf. It is never our intent to maliciously prevent customers from ordering our product. As we are not a wholesaler, the reselling of our product online is an issue we take very seriously. Unfortunately, this account was marked as selling our product online without permission from the company. However, after several correspondence between the company and customer, we have made clear we are very happy to assist with any future orders. We will be reaching out to the customer once again to provide the same discounted offers they had previously redeemed.

BellaLabs / La Creme Skin Care is a dishonest company.

Ten (10) months ago, I tested and returned (within the appropriate dates and parameters via communication with their customer service department) the trial skin care offered on their website. I received NO contact from BellaLabs / La Creme Skin Care, except copious advertising via email, until yesterday. Through USPS general mail, I received a collection notice from Collect Pros, stating that I owed $$$ for this product!

What a lie! What deceit! This business is a SCAM! Their practices are not to offer a genuine product, but to make money through enticement and dishonest; to take advantage of people who do want to have 'better skin.'

Of course, I am protesting this claim. As I write this, my claim of invalidity has not been addressed or dismissed, but I want others to be aware of the duplicitous business practices of this company.

Emptor cavete, but be an aware buyer!

This companies advertising and promotional techniques are misleading. I received the promotional trial,as described (sponsered my Pappa Johns) , and was not informed of the monthly fee, and automatic subscription that would be instated. Shipping of the promotional was authorized. Misleading promotional advertising. When I contacted customer support, the gentleman on the phone tried to avoid the issue, and acted as more of a sales agent then a customer support representative. Subscription was canceled after discussions and frustration with BellaLabs staff. I was not refunded the subscription price. BellaLabs had made 2 transactions to debiting money from my account. 1 transaction for 98cents, and the other for 87.63 (subscription price) . the 98 cent debit cannot be explained.

Review: I applied for a TRIAL offer of their cream. I recieved the cream after a week. Unfortunately, even though they state that they have it posted in several places that the supposed trial will be charged to your account after 14 days if you do not cancel the subscription. They have agreed to refund the monies if I return the 'trial' product. Suggested they state in exact terms on the registration page in plain sight and not wrapped up in their *TRIAL AND SUBSCRITION AGREEMENT hyperlink to disclose this. The product is good, but their practice of TRIAL basis is misleading.Desired Settlement: That consumers are properly notified in plain sight on the registration page that the product is truly not a TRIAL but a purchase. A TRIAL is a testing of the product. Not a purchase.

Review: This company uses misleading practices when selling their product. As a response to a TV ad/offer, I requested a "free trial" of the BellaLabs facial cream. There was to be a $4.95 charge for postage & handling. This was charged to my account, and two weeks later a charge appeared for $87.63. Unfortunately, I did not notice that charge right away. The next month, a repeat of $87.63 showed up on the same credit card account. I called to question it and was told that I had agreed in their "terms and conditions" to purchase a subscription to this product. I would never have knowingly agreed to anything like that. I did not even like the product! The charges were outrageous, as well as their business practices.Desired Settlement: They have agreed (after I told them that I was referring them to the Revdex.com) to a partial refund. If they follow through, I will be satisfied, but I think they should have to improve their fraudulent business practices.

Review: I purchased two products from Bella Labs and received them and paid for them. Follow up orders were supposed to come on a monthly basis unless cancelled by me. I did not receive any follow up orders contrary to the companies statement but I was billed for an additional order that I never received. When the charges appeared on my bill having not received any merchandise I called and cancelled the standing orders and requested a refund. The person I spoke with said it would be taken care of. I paid the initial 4.95 charge for each of the products and I then paid the follow-up charge of $87.63 on Oct 14 and another 87.63 on 28th per the agreement. However they billed my credit card for a shipment in November which I did not receive and then turned me over to a collection agency.Desired Settlement: I want the company to notify the collection company and copy me that I do not owe them for any merchandise and to close their file. I also want to make sure they have credited my card for the November shipment which I did not receive and to also verify that I will not be charged for or shipped additional merchandise.

Response:

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to the customer. The customer's account was closed on 11/3/16 when they contacted us to cancel. A collection notice was mistakenly sent via a third party. The customer does not owe us any fees for products and we can assure the customer that this will not show on their credit. We have taken the necessary steps to make sure this does not happen again. The customer is welcome to contact us directly if they would like any further information.

Review: I ONLY agreed to pay for shipping and handling for this product. I ordered a FREE TRIAL on 12/3/15 and received on 12/10/15. My credit card was charged $87.63 on 12/18/15. I did not agree to pay this amount.

Review: I ordered some face cream for Bella Labs. A trial offer popped up to try it free for 14 days and just pay shipping cost. However, the regular price of the item was not displayed at the time if the order. Also it says to use the product 60 days to discover the true outcome of the product. This came with the bottle for the trial offer. I later found out that the price is high at $87.63 a bottle and this charge appeared on my charge card after the 14 days was up. I also later found out that I could have purchased this same product for half this price on Amazon. The customer service representative I spoke with told me they would sell me 3 bottle for $99. I said no because I felt they were ripping off consumers and was unhappy that I had to pay so much for it. I would like a full refund or a reduction in the price I own for the bottle I have. I told them to cancel all further shipments and not to charge my charge card any more. Customer rep said the 14 days was to make sure you had no allergy to the products. I said well no I did not but I also could not tell at that point if it was actually reducing my wrinkles and felt I was charged too much for the product without direct knowledge of the actual price of the product after the free 14 day trial.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund or a reduction in the price I own for the bottle I have. I told them to cancel all further shipments and not to charge my charge card any more. It says to try the product for two months daily to see results so the trial period is not long enough. It should be two months.[redacted]Unhappy customer

Review: After purchasing samples for the amount of shipping only, I was later charges $87.63 that was not authorized. After contacting the company to get my account credited for the $87.63 is was told that I signed up for a 14 day trial and had an account opened which was not true. They said by accempting the trial offer agreement I signed up for this but that's not the case. I asked to be removed from their records and to have the $87.63 credited back to my account but they said they would only due me a favor and return 25% which is not acceptable.

I consider this $87.63 stolen from my account.Desired Settlement: Refund the $87.63, close any account they may have opened in my name and have no further contact with me.

Review: I canceled this introductory order on Oct. 17, same day as their sister company LaCreme. I just received my refund from them. Thank you. Anyway, I now have 2 billings of $47.00 and some change against my bank account = I keep calling Bellalabs, they put you on hold for next available customer service, then the call hangs up on you about 60 seconds into the wait. Have left numerous messages - Option 2 on their phones to have them call me back, nothing.

I would like a refund from Oct 22 and another from Nov 21 and stop this. I am so stressed . I shouldnt have to cancel my card just to get them to stop. You can never get ahold of them, so I guess that is how they stay in business. Appreciate your looking into this for me and probably others.Desired Settlement: Would like of refund of 94.00 please. I never received any more merchandise either, so nothing to return. And stop this order. Jeezz.

Review: I went to a link from Facebook for a "Free Trail" of Bella Labs face cream and was informed to pay only shipping and handling. I then noticed a charge out of my checking for account for $87.63. I called the number on the bottle and was told that was the terms I agreed to. However I never saw any terms. I have gone back to that link and there still are no terms or conditions that show up. I asked what I need to do to have a complete refund and was told nothing would be refunded. I have the cancellation email and never gave permission to have money removed from my account.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $87.63

Review: Nine months ago I ordered online "free trial" samples of skin products from Bella Lab and LaCreme Skincare, who work in conjunction with one another since it's advertised to use both products. My credit card was billed on 01/19/15 for processing fees. Within a week of receiving items, I decided not to use the products after reading the fine print and called the company. I was informed by their rep I was within the allotted timeframe to return the items. I mailed/returned both unopened trial samples, using the original packaging, to the return addresses indicated. Today I received a collection notice from Collect Pros that I owe each vendor $87.63 for a total sum of $175.26 ~ prior to this, I have never received any contact/communication from either company and believe it's a scam. I attempted to contact Collect Pros via phone and online to dispute this claim to no avail. Their phone system is fully automated and I'm unable to speak to a rep or leave a message; the dispute email I sent was returned "undelivered." Since this occurred over 9 months ago, I no longer have my USPS receipt or the notes on whom I spoke with since I was unaware there would be an issue. Not sure what to do at this point - need your help. Thank you. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like Bella Labs and La Creme Skincare to cease and desist with pursuing debt collection by Collect Pros.

Review: PURCHASED A TRIAL PRODUCT UNDERSTANDING IT WAS FOR THIRTY DAYS. I CALLED 30 DAYS LATER AND CANCELLED. HOWEVER THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT FOR $87 + DOLLARS. THIS WAS NOT EXPLAINED IN THE AD AND THEY ARE DOING A BAIT AND SWITCH ADVERTISEMENT,Desired Settlement: CHECK THIS COMPANY'S ADVERTISING PRACTICES.

Review: The address difference is interesting since the address on the bottle is San Diego, CA. The product was advertised with a product from La Creme (while I filed a complaint also) which has the same San Diego address. The products are advertised as working together. They do not make it clear there is a 14 day trial offer but it takes both products at least 4 to 6 weeks to see results. Most people are going to keep the product past the 14 day period when it takes longer to see results. When I called and questioned this they told me the 14 day trial period was to see if you were allergic to the product. I got charged two $82 debits; one for each product. When I called the numbers on each product I was asked the EXACT same questions but they denied being one business. And when I say "exact same question" it was almost verbatim. In fact one product refunded my account $21; based on a percentage. The other product was not going to offer any refund until I said "well the other company did" to which the person replied "how much did they refund and we'll do the same thing." Before I filed my complaint with La Creme I read a comment from a person whose complaint is identical to mine. The word "both" referring to the two products. They lied multiple times trying to deny they were one in the same company.Desired Settlement: Being put out of business. This is a scam to collect double money. They clearly emphasize all you have to pay is a shipping cost of $4.95.

Review: I sent for trial of a product face cream which proved to be totally useless. Then on March 21st, 2015 I received a shipment for the same cream and my credit card was charged $87.63 I returned it unopened. Then on April 20 I received another shipment for $87.63 which I returned unopened. I called to asked them to reimburse me and take me off their mailing list. I was given a shaft of grief by the customer service rep. He told me I had signed up for this and that there was no way to get off the mailing list. After a long discussion and threatening them with a lawyer he finally consented to reimburse me and take me off the mailing list.Desired Settlement: I feel this company is selling a useless product then harassing people if they try to refuse it. There customer service is pitiful, threatening and harassing. I would like to receive an apology and see them put out of business for false advertising.

The customer placed the order on 3/06/2015. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 for shipping and handling and this began the trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply they were sent. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 3/21/2015 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation in the following months, the customer was automatically billed for new 30 day supplies on 4/20/2015 and 5/20/2015 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 5/29/2015 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent refunded the amount of $175.26 that day for the previous two months of charges.

Review: I was made aware of this skin care product via Facebook. The ad was for free product, just pay $4.95 shipping. Apparently, its a 14 day trial period, that begins when you order it!!! How is it a 14 day trial when it begins before you receive the product? Very misleading, totally unethical and unprofessional. My product didn't come for 7 days (that a trick) then they ding your account for $87.64 right after the 14 days is over and refuse to return your money (as they let you know that if you read the terms and conditions) you would have know this. This is just a huge scam!!! This company is also affiliated with LeCreme Skin Products although they claim they are not...same scam down to the last word. I can't even image how many little elder women have made the mistake by getting involved with these scam artists. After having to deal with a nasty operator on the other end of the phone with this company, I asked for a "supervisor" (yeah right) she told me she would return half my money. I agreed to do that however I should have contacted Revdex.com before as I probably would have received the full amount....more than the money is there shady business policy!!! Why do you need to trick people into trying your product? If its a good product, you don't have to be shady and trick people their "policy".Desired Settlement: Want others to be aware of this companies unethical, unprofessional and very misleading practices and hidden agenda!!! Please make these people do honest business!!!

Review: Feel that they are using false advertising to get consumers to use their "free" sample for $4.95. When you receive the product, if you are not careful and read the instructions, you find that you will be billed $87+ for the product. I called and cancelled the product and was told that since I had received a 14 day supply, I had to pay 1/2 of the charge. It does not represent that if you call to cancel that you will be charged for 50% of the product. Then a week later, I get a call that says that they were unable to process my request and needed further information. I called them again only to be told that I needed to return the product which I had thrown away since it is obviously not a product that works from all of the comments made as the Bella Lab scam shows.Desired Settlement: I want to make sure that my credit card information is not used to charge any other charges to my account. I have read where some consumers have been charged for additional shipments even if they cancelled. I have spoken to my credit card company, and I will dispute any additional charges except the $4.95 for the shipping which was charged in July of 2013. Credit card information is given based upon the fact that it will be used only when authorized.

When Mrs. [redacted] called our company to cancel her account the customer service representative gave her the option of returning the remainder of the product for a full cancellation, or if she wanted to keep it instead we would discount the price to $43.82 for the bottle of product. Mrs. [redacted] agreed to keep the product at the discounted rate so the representative set her account up to billed and to be automatically cancelled after the charge was processed. However, Mrs. [redacted]'s card declined so she was never charged for the product. It is not our companies policy to call our customers if their credit cards decline. Mrs. [redacted]'s account is fully cancelled from all further billing and shipping.

Review: I purchased this product online and was told that I would be charged $4.95 for shipping and the product was free. This was pop-up advertising while I was online looking for something else. What was hidden was that they would charge you $87.63 after 14 days. This information was not provided to me in plain site. They took advantage of me because I could not see the small print, but this was what they were banking on. I do not want there product and do not want to do business with someone that treat customers with such poor customer service. False advertising is a tactic that this company is using to take my money. I would like my money back minus the $4.95 for the shipping and handling.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund minus the $4.95 I agreed to pay for the shipping and handling. The total refund should be $82.68. Thanks in advance.
