Review: After receiving a $5 trial product, I contacted company to cancel auto shipment of additional product in mid-March. They had already billed my account for the auto-shipment, but did refund the charge at that time (or so I thought). A bank statement was received today, April 26, 2014, with two charges of $87.63 (total $175.26) debited to my account on March 18 and March 19, 2014. These charges were unauthorized. Products were not ordered or shipped to me (I do not want the products). A call was placed to the company April 26, 2014 and a voice message was left, requesting a return call to resolve the issue.Desired Settlement: This company needs to refund the charges to my account, destroy my credit card information and stop stealing from innocent customers.

At Bella Labs every customer is given the right to try their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. After the 14 day trial period, if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at anytime by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on bellalabs.com, the product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on bellalabs.com where the customer would have ordered their product. The customer has to also click "I agree to the terms and conditions" twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not "agree" to the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website not only on the bottom of the first page, but also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their card information as well as sent out with the product.

Just a big scam! Wouldn't refund money. a complete rip off.

Review: BellaLabs advertises a "free" trial offer. The terms and conditions of the trial state:

"Billing and Cancellation Terms for Trial. As one of its product offerings, BellaLabs offers consumers a recurring shipment/subscription plan (“Subscription Plan”). If you sign up for the Subscription Plan on the Website, you will be given the opportunity to try out the product for a period of 10 days (starting from the day you receive the product) without paying any money except for the cost of shipping and handling. At the time you sign up for this Subscription Plan, the credit or debit card you provide will be charged the shipping and handling fee, and you will be mailed one bottle of BellaLabs. If you cancel the Subscription Plan within the first 10 days from the day you received the initial order by calling 1-877-767-9942 or emailing [email protected], you will not be sent any more bottles and your subscription will be canceled. If you cancel and also return the bottle to us postmarked within 10 days of receipt, your subscription will be cancelled and you will only be charged the initial shipping fee..."

I NEVER RECEIVED THE TRIAL PRODUCT and therefore did not have an opportunity to cancel within 10 days of receipt. When I called customer service they claimed the package had been delivered and therefore they could not refund the $87.63. I believe that this company is not only using deceptive advertising practices, but also refusing to uphold its obligations under the contract by delivering a product to the customer.Desired Settlement: Companies like this exploit customers and this is a despicable practice. I'm a lawyer and therefore ensured I was very aware of the terms of the trial, however there is no way that a lay person would be able to decipher terms and conditions. Furthermore, I agreed to pay the $87.63 ONLY if I didn't return the product and cancel my subscription within 10 days of RECEIPT of the product. Since I never received it, I believe that BellaLabs was in breach of the contract and therefore my entire $87.63 should be refunded.

The consumer placed the order on 11/14/14. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 and this began the 14 day trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply. We tracked the package by ups.com, and found a delivery confirmation on 11/21/14 with tracking number: [redacted]. The consumer made no attempt to notify us she had not received a product within the original trial period and the consumer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 11/29/14 as explained in the terms and conditions for which they agreed to. The monthly membership of Bellalabs recurred on 12/29/14 at the retail price of $87.63, and shipped a second bottle. The consumer contacted our company on 01/09/15 with a request for cancellation. The account was canceled immediately as instructed and they were sent a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent issued a partial refund of $43.82 on that same day. The consumer would have received an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation and refund. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back.

Review: I accepted the free 14 day trial from Bellalabs on facial cream. When I received the product I wanted to return it right away within the 14 day window prior to being charged for keeping th product. When I went to the post office they said they will not ship that product since it was against government regulations because of alcohol content. When I contacted bellalabs and informed them that I was denied by the post office in returning the product they challenged me on my honesty. I asked the post office how they could be sending the product and I couldn't and the post office administrator said they needed a special permit to distribute and according to their records they do not. I asked bellalabs for an alternate way of returning the product and was told to address it and just drop it in the mail. I cannot in good conscience do this since I would be violating government law. I sent bellalabs the document I found on the post office website that says you cannot ship this type of product. I have not yet heard back. I will be charged $87 if the product is not returned in time but have no way of retruning it.Desired Settlement: I am happy to return the product lawfully and not be charged for anything but the shipping and handling charges of $4.95 like it was originally agreed upon between bellalabs and myself.

Review: I had ordered a free 14 day trial from Bella Labs which was received by me. Thereafter I was charged $87.63 since in fine print it was mentioned that I would continue getting shipments from them after trial period. I immediately emailed them and they responded stating that all ongoing and future orders stand cancelled vide cancellation number [redacted] dated May 4th 2015. In the meanwhile I had disputed the charge with credit card company. However I have now got notifications from them that Bella Labs insist on the charges and that products were shipped for the said amount. I have not got any products from them for amount of $87.63 and there is no question of a shipment since they confirmed all cancellations. I need them to cancel these charges as it constitutes a fraud practice. I have their email and if desired I can furnish the same.Desired Settlement: I need them to cancel the charges on my credit card account as no shipment has been made and they have confirmed cancellations of any orders with them.

The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 5/4/15 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. The customer informed us on 5/7/15 that they disputed the charge with their bank and we received a notice from that bank on 5/15/15. Customer again emailed us on 6/17/15 about charge. Due to this complaint, we have refunded the disputed charge of $87.63 back to the customer, however we do stand by our terms and conditions and reiterate that the customer does have to agree to those terms and conditions before they confirm their order. Once a refund is processed, it takes 3-7 business days for it to be credited back to the customer’s account.

Review: I order a free trial of this cream and had only to pay shipping and gave a credit card. I DID NOT SIGN OR SEE ANYTHING THAT SAID I WAS ORDERING ANYMORE OF THIS PRODUCT IF I DID NOT RESPOND BACK TO THIS COMPANY. They sent another sample and charged my credit card 87.63.

Review: Ordered free trial and paid for shipping. My checking account was then charged $87.63 and a week later I received another package of the cream in the mail. When I realized this would be a monthly charge I called to cancel and was told future shipments to me would be cancelled and even if I return the unopened package I just received I would not receive a refund. This company is a total scam. By the way, I see no difference in the skin on my face even after using the so-called "free trial" for the last three weeks.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money and also for the company to be looked at by the Revdex.com for fraudulent advertising.

Review: This complaint is related to complaint filled against LaCreme, #[redacted]. I found out about BellaLabs skincare in a webpage called Genieo. It was an ad about how [redacted] was dropped from Cover Girl because she really uses the combination of LaCreme and Bellalabs skincare as anti-age. The ad directed me to another page where consumers told their successful stories with the combination of the products. I clicked on BellaLabs link and saw there was a trial offer for 4.95. I entered my credit card information and received the product in the mail. However, I bought the product for my mom, whom I will not see until December. So I did not worry about opening the package. I opened both packages last night, only to find a small card inside of the LaCreme package that said the terms and conditions were that I needed to cancel future orders within 14 days of the original oder, or I'd be billed $87.63. I looked it up and the same applies for BellaLabs. Because the 14 day period had passed, I have been billed that amount by BellaLabs and LaCreme, for a total of $175.26. So I emailed the company and asked to cancel my future orders (I was already registered to receive the product every 30 days). I also wrote I wanted a refund and that I was going to contact Revdex.com. I mentioned the problem of the two companies being responsible for what I believe is a scam. It is probably the same company under different names, or a partnership between the two to collect not only $87.63 from each customer, but $175.26, because the same "terms" apply for both. The idea that the produycts work best together is what makes you be doubly scammed. I did not call or explain any further because I had already done so with LaCreme, and I'm assuming the argument will be the same. I went back to the BellaLabs website and confirmed that, just like in the case of LaCreme, there was nothing like "agree to the terms and conditions". I did find a fine print at the bottom of the offer, but it is indentical to the LaCreme's: very small letters and nowhere in the offer button it said it was a 14 day trial. There was no asterisk either, which is usually what you see from good companies, linking the order to the fine print. How was I supposed to expect being billed an outrageous amount if "14 day" was not linked to the main offer button? I'd be suspicious or much more careful if the 14 day wording was linked to the offer, but it wasn't. I have purchased other trial products but never had a problem because the terms were very visible, next to the offer main title, or with the asterisk like I said. This to me looks like a fraudulent partnership exploiting customers with disguised trial offers that are unclear. I have screen shots of all websites and the main offer. Please help me get my 87.63 back.Desired Settlement: Please look into the "partnership" of the two companies, the bait aid in Genieo and the dual unclear trial offer. I believe many other customers are having this issue.

Review: I was asked to take a survey and offered my choice of rewards for taking this survey. Bella Labs was one of the choices. It claims to be free, you only have to pay shipping. Once I selected it, I was taken to a page that mentions a free trial offer. I received a very small card with the product stating that I have 14 days from the date of the order to cancel or return and I will be billed on the 15th day. Not only is the print small and hard to read but has to be read carefully to understand the terms. You don't actually have a 14 day trial period as they start that period the day it is ordered. If they really had a product worth something, they would not need to trick you into trying it, and they would also send a return envelope and address labels with the product.Desired Settlement: I will be willing to pay to return it as long as they refund the charges. I will consider it fraud education.

Review: In early February I answered an internet ad to purchase a trial amount of a skin cream. The ad claimed that these 2 separate creams from 2 separate companies were to be used together to get the results. This was a trial for which I paid $4.95 each to Bella Labs and [redacted] cream. They did not make it clear in the ad that I had only 2 weeks to cancel the trial or I would be liable for $87.63 for each jar from each of them and would agree to be charged that every month when another jar was sent out. I never saw the price of $87.63 and if I had I never would have agreed. This is nothing more than a small amount of [redacted] cream which can be bought anywhere for a fraction of the cost. This is clearly a ripoff.

I received my credit card statement on 3/23 and saw I was charged $87.63 from both companies and the next day I received a package of more cream.

On 3/24 I contacted Bella Labs who agreed to cancel this subscription and I sent back the package that I received without opening it. Bella Labs agreed to give me a credit of $21.90 against the $87.63 for the original trial shipment. It appears I still paid $65.73 plus the $4.95 shipping for small aerosol jar containing 1.2 oz of [redacted] cream. I never would have agreed to that price had I known about it. This is deceptive advertising. At no time did they make it clear what the actual cost of this "miracle cream" would be and it was not immediately clear that I was signing up for a subscription.Desired Settlement: I want this information on record. Had I gone into the internet and did the research I would have seem that many others have fallen prey to these people as I have seen complaints against this company. I think $65.73 is an outrageous sum of money to charge for 1.2 oz of cream. I would like a greater credit than the $21.90 that they offered.

Review: I received a sample of the Bellalabs product in August of this year, and since I missed the 14-day deadline to return it, I was charged about $90 for the product. I knew that it was my fault, so I didn't protest, but I promptly sent an email canceling further shipments. On October 3, 2014, I received another shipment. Thinking that there must be some mistake, since I had already canceled in August, I called the company, and they grudgingly agreed to allow the return of the product. Unknown to me, when I was out of town in September, another shipment had occurred. After I had mailed the October shipment, I found the unopened envelope, and when I opened it, I found a September shipment for which I had also been charged.I called the company again, and they claimed that they had never received my email canceling the order. They refused to accept the return of the September order, because "it was against their policy." If I had realized that a September order had arrived, I would have notified them in September to prevent shipment of the October order. Since I had canceled in August, I never expected a September order.I would like permission to return the unopened product and to have a refund issued to my credit card. I feel that the product is vastly overpriced, and since I was not aware of the September arrival, I couldn't cancel again.Thank you so much for your assistance.Desired Settlement: I would like permission to return the unopened product from the September shipment and to have a credit for it issued to my credit card. I am 79 years old, and I don't have hundred-dollar bills lying about the house to pay for unwanted merchandise. I would appreciate anything that you can do to expedite my request. Thank you sincerely.

Review: I ordered a trial sample of their product that was left on my porch at a door not used often, and because it was over 14 days I was charged for a full size product which I didn't have time to try. The price was not disclosed and to me a free sample is just that, free . It was not clear to me about the 14 days and then charged full price. This information should be displayed openly, not hidden in their terms and conditions that are very fine print and hard to read.Desired Settlement: I will gladly send the product back and tell everyone I know to be very careful of their fine print.

Review: I ordered "Samples" from them under the terms that I would have two weeks to decide if I wanted to keep it. They claim their products are endorsed by Dr. Oz. Against my better judgment, I ordered them. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction and emailed them immediately. I never heard back, and called. I was on hold over one hour. I spoke with [redacted], who told me I have to immediately priority mail the samples or they will charge my credit card. This occurred on a Wednesday, and they do not specify if they are referring to weekdays or business days. The "low cost" samples ended up costing a lot more than they should have.Desired Settlement: $12.00 for sample cost and return shipping.

Review: On December 3, 2015 I completed a health survey for United Healthcare, my insurance company. This was an online survey that once completed took me to a new screen that indicated that Integrated Health was offering me my choice of two out of three products for the shipping cost only as a "thank you" for completing the survey. The shipping cost was listed as $4.95 for a sample. It was not clear that I needed to call their customer service department in 14 days or I would be billed on Dec 23 for $47.32 and billed again on Jan 22 for $47.32 for a 1.2 ounce bottle of face cream. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I would never agree to this. I did not notice the Dec charge from Bella. I did notice the charge card in January from BellaLabs and called immediately to cancel. I cAlled CS twice with no return call. Told them not to send any more. 5 days later received another bottle Emailed them on Jan. 29th asked for refund and directions how to return product. Jan 30th they emailed they would issue a refund in 3 to 7 business days for order [redacted]. No refund was made. I called again and could not reach a live person and received no return call. I emailed again on Feb 9th to advise no refund was made. I included my email, name address and phone. On Feb 11th they emailed and said "it seems as though the refund was not completed and asked me to confirm my address so they could mail me a check......the address was actually listed in my email to them. I emailed my address back again on February 12th asking them to confirm they have sent the check. So far, no confirmation and no check. This is very deceptive advertising. I was not looking for a face cream. This was presented on the Integrated Healthplan web page as a "thank you" for doing the United Healthcare survey. Any help you can provide is appreciated.Desired Settlement: Refund of full amount and no further products sent or charges to my credit card. Amt two payments of $47.32

This is when they paid the initial $4.95 for shipping and handling and this began the trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply they were sent. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, we attempted to bill the customer on 12/18/15 but the charge was declined. The customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 12/23/15 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. The customer was billed for the next 30 day supply on 1/22/16. The consumer contacted BellaLabs on 1/25/16 with a request for cancellation. The account was cancelled immediately as instructed and the customer was sent a cancellation confirmation via email. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I was billed $47.32 in both December and January. I expect a refund for both charges. I received a check in the mail today for $47.32 from [redacted] "Customer Service Supervisor" BellaLabs dated 2/19/16 I[redacted].The website I ordered the BellaLabs facial cream from was not the [redacted] website. It was a site identified as Integrated Health that I was directed to after completing a survey for United Healthcare. It only asked for my billing info to cover the cost of the shipping and handling of $4.95 for a "free sample" as a thank you for completing the survey. I did not go to the Bella Labs site. I was not shopping for facial cream. There was absolutely NO paperwork or cards of any kind delivered with the 1.2 ounce bottle of BellaLab Facial cream. There was no indication on the Integrated Health website or with the bottle that would indicate I needed to cancel the order within 14 days or be billed. There was no indication of the price of the facial cream when it was delivered. The C.S. phone number was on the bottle.I expect a second refund for $47.32 because I was charged and did pay both changes. I did not even realize until January 24th that BellaLabs had billed me in December and then again in January. I only agreed to pay the $4.95 for shipping for a promotion by Integrated Health. I did not seek out the Bellalabs website and it was not clear that by paying the shipping cost I was signing up for a monthly shipment through BellaLabs.

Review: THE COMPANY INSISTS ON A 14 DAY CANCELLATION NOTICE FROM THE DATE OF ORDER NOT DATE RECEIVED WHICH UNFAIRLY CAUSES HARDSHIP ON THE CUSTOMER WHO, LIKE MANY PEOPLE IN MODERN AMERICA, MAY BE TRAVELING OR AWAY FROM HOME. ADDITIONALLY, THEY PROUDLY TOUT A 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE WHICH THEY DONT PROVIDE.

WE WERE UNHAPPY WITH THE BAD FAITH DEMONSTRATED BY THEIR UNREASONABLE 14 DAY REQUIREMENT AND THE FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT TO PREFORM AS ADVERTISED AND LACK OF COMPLYING WITH THE 100% SATISFACTIONDesired Settlement: THE COMPANY SHOULD REFUND THE ROUGHLY $190.00 CHARGES THEY HAVE PLACED AGAINST MY CREDIT CARD AND CHANGE THEIR CANCELLATION TIME FOR FUTURE SALES. THESE PRODUCTS, I IMAGINE, ARE SOLD MOSTLY TO MATURE WOMEN WHO NEED A LITTLE MORE TIME TO RESPOND.

THANK YOU

Review: I ordered this cream that was $4.99 for s&h only. I guess I didn't read the fine print that $80.00 some odd dollars would be taken out of my checking account. So I said no to that and sent the product back. They told me that emailing was not enough to complain/ask for my money back but that I had to call...which I did as well. They have NOT "rec'd" the product back nor have they refunded my money. They will continue to take the $80.00 dollars out of my account until I have it resolved. They are not very customer friendly and ask me if I have "dropped the dispute". What dispute? I have emailed my issue to them. I have called as was instructed. I have physically sent back the product. I have not been refunded. The only DISPUTE I have is to get my money back. I am sorry that I have falling for this hoax - nothing is FREE. And sorry that I had to involve the Revdex.com. I just want my money back...I want them to take me off their email list and NOT take anymore money back or contact me with anything to do with their product again.1. Money refunded that was taken out of my checking account.2. Take me off their list.3. DO NOT take any more money out of my checking account.4.. Response:

As we stated in the original response, she was fully refunded on 02/23/15 for $87.63. This information was confirmed over e-mail, and the refund takes three to seven business days to process back.

This company offers a 14 day trial for 4.95 shipping price but after 14 days if you don't send it back they charge your cc 83 dollars. They claim it tells you that in the terms and conditions but that's a lie. I noticed someone filed a Revdex.com claim against them for this reason and just because they responded with their terms and conditions lie the Revdex.com was satisfied. I don't understand why the Revdex.com didn't look into that lie. It's easy to see. Just go on line like a consumer and there will be no terms and conditions when you order.
