To Mr***, and the Revdex.com, It is true that on 08/24/we did do a set of four tires at a mileage of 282,692. at 12/11/something happened that caused your left front wheel and tire to come off, this was at a mileage of 287,672. miles after we put the set of tires
on your vehicle. We have seen you one time in between, to check axle bushings that you had installed to make sure that they were installed correctly, no tire work occoured at that time. Had you had the tires off the front in the time between tire installation, and the incident with the wheel coming off? As per an email that you had sent us you state that because of the wheel material (aluminium) the lug nuts needed to be torqued much less than at specification (you specified ft/lb) while factory manuals state ft/lb for either aluminium or steel wheels. So if you had removed the wheels, and then tightened them to a lower torque rating, that could be the issue. Your lug nuts did not "fail" the lug nuts backed off, notched the studs from the oscilation, and then ultimatley the wheel fell off; this indicates that lug nuts were loose, not over torqued. An over-torque scenario breaks the stud, essentially twisting the stud free from itself. Also, an over-torque scenario would be quite apparent by the missing studs and lug nuts on the wheels, as when a stud breaks you cannot just stick a lug nut on it because there is nothing to put a lug nut on. Per your email submitted through the corporate portal, you check your truck daily, which I would assume means you look at each tire, check tire pressures, fluid levels etc, and certainly would have noticed missing studs and or lug nuts. We did reimburse you for all charges made here to repair the vehicle including a set of wheels, all wheel studs, lug nuts, the left front rotor, and all labor associated with the replacement of these items. Our issue with the situation is that lug nuts don't just fail after miles, the vibration that you felt prior to the wheel coming off should have been an indication that something was not right, and certainly the noise that accompanies a wheel coming off is quite loud, even in a diesel pickup. Your specific concern is with guarantee and warranty issues, and to that end I cannot guarantee that you did not have the tires off to remove and replace your axle bushings, havent done brakes or front end repairs, or otherwise had the tires off the vehicle. To date we have never done any service work to your vehicle, and you've made it clear that you do your own mechanical repairsIt is regrettable that this situation happened, and that is why we refunded all costs to you for repair of your vehicle ($450), the $additional that you are seeking as damages; we still do not feel as though this is our liability. Your truck has (at last known) 287,miles on it, and is years old. Yes, it is a heavy duty truck, made for hauling large loads, but that does not mean that it will go 300,miles without any maintinance. We went above and beyond to make sure that your truck was servicable, even replacing all four wheels on the vehicle so that they would all match, and then refunded all costs after you expressed your displeasure with the way things were handled. We do realize that there was an issue with the way that the salesman handled the situation with regard to parts avalibility, but once we started really hunting for parts yes, we were able to get all parts delivered and installed and get you back on the road that night (which involved calling two parts warehouses that we normally never use.) This however does not constitute $worth of additional damages to be paid

Take my husband truckfor an oil change And they did not fill it backup with oil which caused him to have a throne Ron which means it blew the motor

They say that the competitor pulled my vehicle in without me present is cause I sat there while they pulled it in then brought me the printout of what the alignment was at then brought another paper out showing it was fixed and since I haven't had problems with my tire rubbing the fender like they say is due to my wheels sticking out to farAnd also the tires didn't have any wear to the sidewall from my fender previous cause the car wasn't drove on the tires till took to Big o tires for the alignment, I had my factory rims on the car till took to them the day of the alignment so I wouldn't mess up the tires and wanted it aligned properly with the rims being installed

To whom it may concern:
said customer came into store to have brakes installed on front of car and was given a price of $for frt pads and laborCustomer was informed we needed to check and make
sure other components were ok such as rotors and calipers
Service tech pulled car in, check components, found to be okSalesperson told customer all else was ok, mechanic had just printed the estimate, salesperson picked up estimate, customer was preparing to leave and come back to get car, sales person said " I have the estimate right here, the rotors are good, so it will be $plus TAX and FEES and the grand total is $**5.09"Customer said ok, sale person said I will call you when its done.
Nothing else was said until she picked up car, customer then said he told me $139.00, salesperson response was it was p;us tax and shop feesCustomer then said to him "what are shop fees", salesman went on to explain all materials used to do jobs at handIt is a percentage of the cost and is charged on all service jobs everywhereCustomer did not like the fact that she was charred a shop fee, yet she was given an exact price to the penny by the salesperson BEFORE the work was done and nothing was said then
When the salesperson tried to explain the reason for shop fees, the customer did not want to hear the answers and said to the sales person those things should all be complimentarySalesman explains all shops in the nation have shop fees to offset the cost of doing business, the alternative is charge higher prices for the job at hand, the way we go to business is equal to in this respect the market, this keeps the playing field even
Customer left unhappy about a shop fee, even though the total price was given again up front by said sale person before the work was done with shop fees, as well as sales tax

Mr*** ***'s wife came in to Big O Tires in Santa Fe and requested a Tire Rotation and balanceUpon inspecting the condition of the tires we found that the tires had uneven wear and that they were legally worn out. I advised Mrs*** that the tires needed to be
replaced. Mrs*** then called Mr*** to let him know about the situationA few minutes later Mr*** *** showed up and demanded that we explain the situation to him and just honor the " free rotation and balance " I showed him what I was talking about and that the tires were legally worn out. He got upset that the tires were worn out prematurelyI offered new tires at discounted price but Mr*** was really upset and didn't give me a chance to put some numbers togetherHe Started demanding new tires at no cost and I explained that tires get prorated when they don't accomplish the mileage they are guaranteed for. He would not want to listen to anything I had to say then they left. My offer still stands an I will warranty the tires at a prorated price. Thanks Hugo M***Big O tirescerrillos rd Santa Fe Nm 87507###-###-####

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Regardless of what you feel is could or couldn't be the cause of the misfire doesn't mean that your assumptions are trueSince having the motor flush and filters and oil changed out I've not had any issues with a misfireSo how do you explain that? Mechanics are in business to make money so I don't believe that they would over look a bigger problem and just tell me it was related to the oilThe invoice that you keep bringing up and how vague it is *** nothingI agreed to pay their price of for a diagnostic test which is about $dollars cheaper than yours mind you, and if I allowed them to work on it they would put that fee towards the work on the carFor you to question their prices is ridiculous because what you wanted to charge me for the same service was double thatI genuinely trusted you and your shop with my car until this incident and I think your response that I was and some odd miles due for an oil change does not account for how low it was on oil or how caked on it wasMy brother who is also a mechanic and also worked at Big O for a couple years told me that the fact that I was miles away from my mark would not cause my oil to be THAT lowHe's also had several instances where Big O has charged him for a service they didn't completeRegardless of what you want to do about my refund please know that my family and I will NEVER do business at your store again and I will make sure to discourage anybody I know from your store.
Sincerely,

Order fabric and notions on 11/27/totaling over $Some items were intended as Christmas presents Card was charged that day but order just showed as "processing" for over weeks Tried calling but was routed to queue line on attempts and then finally told it was outside business hours (it wasn't) and then disconnected Finally got thru the next day and was told all the items on my order weren't available so therefore my order hadn't shipped I explained that since they had my money for weeks they should split ship me my items ASAP at no cost to me They stated they would but it still took days before I got a shipping confirmation Just got my items (all in shipment) more than a month after paying for them Delay is unacceptable but even worse is they had my money for a month Firmly believe they are running some type of scam as I don't see any other e-commerce vendors charging in this manner Charges shouldn't occur until items ship The CS rep said it was because they have to cut fabricWhat!! Will not shop this site again!

The "refund" you refer to was because you took the other tires off but we still paid for the new ones with what you call a discountThe point here is that you denied ruining the transfer case which in fact you didAnd you all took no responsibility for your mistake didn't even offer to fix it you should know putting significantly different tires on a 4xtears up the transfer case but you did it anyway and acted like you did nothing wrong yall are a bunch of crooks at big o tires taking people's money and tearing up their vehicle

HelloWe talked to customer about this on phone... We don't want to add anything more on what we talked to customer over the phone. Thanks***

I wanted to take a moment to give some background on the complaint listed aboveThe vehicle is owned by *** ***Her vehicle, a Porsche cayenne turbo has approx93,milesI have compressed the chronology but the main points are as I remember themWe found out about the
concerns with her rear view mirror a few days after it was picked upHer boyfriend, *** *** has a body shop, (*** ***) and he called to inform us the mirror was detached but he thought he could fix it for a small feeAfter several weeks, he said he was unsuccessfulHis plan was to have another shop, Bee-right, attempt to fix some wiringAfter additional time, they let us know the other shop was also unsuccessful and would take it to dealer and let us knowSeveral more days went by and they called to let us know it was fixed and it was $(copy of receipt is attached)Anytime we have a complaint concerning quality of work we interview employees involvedThe mechanic involved has been with us over 20yrsI have known him to accept responsibility in the past if he had an error or issueHe has been quite sure through this whole process that the mirror was not broken when he pulled it out. In an attempt to satisfy the customer concerns, without bringing our liability insurance into the picture, we had made offers to help them as we value the business relationshipThe last offer was $1,in two payments over a day periodThe same day I made the pmt offer, they called Big O customer feedback for the 3rd time and submitted a complaintThey also called and demanded full paymentAt that point, I felt I had gone as far as I couldI turned the matter over to our garage liability insurance company, *** *** insurance. Auto Owners assigned a senior claims representative named *** ***Mr*** interviewed Ms***, Mr ***, and our people having information about the vehicle while it was hereHe also investigated the claims of repairs neededAnd had the dealership invoice reviewed for 2nd opinionAfter a few weeks, *** *** denied/rejected all claims made by Ms*** and made no offer of settlementWe feel we have made every reasonable effort to satisfy a claim we are not convinced we are responsible forIf you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to give me a call Sincerely, *** *** ***

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response from big-o is dishonestThe evening after I brought my tire to big-o to have a slow leak repaired I received a text that said "Tire is not repairable, replacement cost is $plus tax"When I went there the next day no one ever mentioned the term siphon line or stated any non-repairable tire policy or directed me to any documentation of that policy*** did say something vague about the location of the leak being too near the edge so it was not repairableI did not dispute their decision as they claim above, I just took the tire and leftI took the tire to *** *** ** *** ** who fixed it without question or problem *** has a yelp rating of on reviews vs big-o boulder at on reviews)I think that says all that needs to be said about which shop is honest and competent and that people trust (hint, it's not big-o)If what big-o says about the policy they cite for not fixing my tire is true, then all I can conclude is that the bait-and-switch scam (of offering a free flat repair and then saying the tire can't be repaired so you'll need to buy a new tire) must be supported up at the corporate levelI am attaching a picture of the repaired tireIt is a studded snow tire in very good condition with lots of tread and no sidewall problemsThe leak was apparently caused when one of the studs was inserted and a prong from the stud inserter punctured the tire*** removed the stud, patched the tire from the inside and it's all good nowSomething any honest, competent shop should be able to do(***
