Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]

Beware if this company contacts you. They present themselves as Google, they promise you a list of items that are not done. Product placement on the first page of searches which they cannot do either. We have made several attempts to cancel this within their time frames and they refuse to cancel but like to bill and if your question and want to cancel they yell at you. Completely unprofessional sales people and to make it up to you will offer a website for your business to keep you in contract. It is almost like the movie Boiler Room. I do not recommend them to anyone... Beware.

I was very eager to use brand rep for their first page of Google promotion service. One day I was inside of my store when we received a call from a company claiming that they were Google and that they could get us on the first page of google.com in less than 30 days. My business has three store and each locations has a Google plus page that we use for our customers to get directions, view our images and learn more about our services. In order for Brand Rep to assure that you on the first page of Google they claim that you must give ownership of your Google page to their company.
The problem that we run into is that we do communicate to our customers through our Google page we receive emails and reviews from customers and we are the only ones we want to view those reviews and we deal with our customers. We do this the instant that they make an inquiry on our page. I offered to make them managers of the page and with my experience there are no limitations to what a company could do as a manager of a Google page versus being the owner of a Google page. If their service was Genuine they would not need to retain ownership of social media pages and in all reality it belong to the Company that contracted them.
We attempted to contact the company on either Christmas Day or New Year's eve when I was put on the phone with the representative name [redacted]. We spoke for roughly 9 minutes of which he attempted to explain to me that their service cannot be guaranteed if I did not give them ownership of my page. Instead of being confrontational and getting upset with the young man who clearly didn't care that we paid their company to do a service for us. Instead he spoke to me as if he paid me. He was Very disrespectful, condescending and clearly lacking customer service skills, which made kindly request to speak to someone other than him. After not receiving a call back from him or any other management personnel at this company we received no response. It wasn't until the next day I realized that I have been billed shortly thereafter. Since I had not received a phone call back from anybody in the company, I contacted my credit card company and cancel any transactions from brand rep.
I made an honest effort to try to work with this company. I reached out to the company yesterday and attempted to come to a resolution at which time I was connected to [redacted] again who actually said he explained the situation to me in Ad nauseam. Which I must admit I found extremely offensive.
In short and at the end of the day it bothers me that I sent money to this company and they have treated me with great disrespect. And the way that [redacted] spoke to me I'm absolutely confident that I will not receive a refund.
It isn't necessarily a refund that I was shooting for. I was really sincerely hoping that your company can provide the service that you offered me without retaining sensitive company information that in essence is proprietary to our brand.
At the end of the day I would like a refund. It is my full intention to leave reviews on every site on the Internet with this exact complaint including rip off report, yelp, Google, Yahoo, the Revdex.com and a few others.
The only option I was given by [redacted] is to pay $299 to cancel my agreement with their company. $299 is a very small and minuscule amount of money for me to pay. It would be no problem. But conceptually I have a problem given money to disrespectful organizations.
I am open to discussing this with any of the managing operators of this company but I will not speak with [redacted]. Unfortunately if I don't hear back today or receive a reasonable resolution to this issue I will spread by complaint across the Internet.
Please forgive any typos as I do not have the time to proofread this message.

The sign up was a fairly straightforward process. I am happy with results I have seen so far. I tried out BrandRep originally for a 3 month contract. It wasn't world changing but we did see grow in our online presents over that time. We chose to continue on with them. Now, almost a year later, we continue to ask how people find us and almost everyone says Google. Our showroom is on the front page for many different searches. They have been helpful along the way.

After Speaking to Lauren we have come to a resolution to her concerns.  We are continuing to work with her business, suspended her billing and put her on our Work for free guarantee.  As a Google certified Partner we take your concerns very seriously.  Our customer support agent has...

reached out to her to share Positive traction with her account since we last spoke on the 29th of January.  Keeping in mind we are not to bill her as stated in our work for free guarantee here. (http://www.brandrep.com/terms_of_service#work_for_free_guarantee)   Once again we will continue providing positive feedback from the work we are doing and if you have any questions or concerns please do reach us @ 1-800-405-7119 x2 Manager, OperationsBrandRep, Inc

A full refund was issues as per our 3 day rescission policy. Although, it may take up to 3-5 business days to show up in the customers bank account.

This company telemarketed our client promising first page listing. In addition they made it seems as if they were from Google™ themselves. Bad tacticts. Shame on Revdex.com for giving this company a Aplus rating.

The customer Hired BrandRep 7/12/16 for our online exposure bases program to help with their online visibility.  In the the next few months, we provided multiple directories, a few rankings in [redacted] and a website to help with driving traffic to their primary website.  The process of...

optimization does take time, so unfortunately to expect call in a couple months would be unrealistic.  But as a business owner, we understand your frustration and the expectation for a return on investment..  Know this, in the first few months, we are diligent with our efforts setting up your business to be seen online.  I see we have 19 directories established, your business location has been verified in [redacted] and you have keywords ranking already in the early stages of your campaign.  We understand how important phone calls are for your business and in no way would we ever want your business to lose visibility,  or do anything to kill your business.   Please do reach out to us, I am sure there is something we can do to help your business along and completely come to a resolution that I am sure you would be satisfied with.

I received a call from [redacted] who gave me an extremely high pressured condescending approached, an old school beat you up approach that I cannot believe anyone would fall for. Although I did not like his condescending approach at all, I wanted to learn more as I do need this service for my business. I would never have bought a plan with him directly but I figured I could use another salesperson if I liked things. I told him I wanted to research the company and find out a little more before I invested, in response he offered to lower the cost so I would commit right then. I assume he did not want me to see what others were saying about Brand Rep. I saw many complaints and realized he was charging me more than what I get with local small businesses. So when he called back I just let it go to voicemail as I honestly did not want to talk to him anymore, it was that bad during the first conversation. In the next 14 hours he called me 18 times with 2 different numbers. He was able to secure a number with the same area code as my phone to try to trick me into answering. When I finally answered and asked him to please stop calling me he was rude, insulting and extremely unprofessional and honestly a bit frightening. I hung up on him. I am keeping the call log and the voicemail he left me just in case. The experience was so bad I will never entertain any cold calls ever again, period. PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF YOUR SALES PERSON IS ROBERT!

Business owner,
We are sorry to hear you feel that way in how we take care of our Customers..  We have many and we take your'e concerns very seriously.  First of all we are not a scam, we don't provide false advertising and guarantee's.  We have been providing...

services for you ever since you signed up with us back in February *015.  The SEO process takes time and you are on the right track with what I have seen in the last few months.  You are in a competitive area as well as an extremely competitive industry.   With that being said, our agreements are 90 days(which you signed and agreed to)  and then do become month to month.  In our agreement all we ask if you can contact us 5 days before your billing when you look to cancel.  In your case you contacted us after your 4th billing.  Contact us so we can come to a resolution on your account.
Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[[redacted] never sent the weeks and weeks that went by without response.   He didnt show me Falling off the first page.   He also didnt show that I was never on the first page for manhattan, strictly my zipcode...and not for long nor under the key words I requested.   The radio journalist he speaks of was a student at a college.  Actually a total fluke.   I was being polite with him in hopes he would actually do work on my website.    I think his company creates fake links and websites in order to boost optimization which is unethical and doesnt last.  Brand Rep entire yelp page says the same thing- they are fooling everybody.   ]

Dear Revdex.com of San Diego,
This is BrandRep's response to Complaint ID# [redacted].
Our former client, [redacted] Dog Training, has filed a complaint for two basic reasons. She claims that (1) our service does not work and (2) that we do not reply to her emails and/or...

phone calls.
I have attached 3 screenshots, these files show [redacted] Dog Training on the first page of results on Google's business directory, commonly known as Google Maps. Her rankings on this platform are a direct result of our Local SEO service that we provided for our client starting in September of 2013. Please see attachments ([redacted] Rank 1, [redacted] Rank 2, [redacted] Rank 3).
I have also attached email correspondence between this client and myself, I took over account management starting in February of 2014. You will be able to see my quick response times to each and every inquiry that [redacted] had made. Please see attachment ([redacted]mail Correspondence). On Page 9 of this file, you will see that [redacted] thanked us for our service because a radio journalist found her on the first page of Google and contacted her for an interview!
Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide to ensure that this complaint is resolved successfully.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration,

Also I have been calling about my map placement I am showing up in the Northwest area and I am in the Southwest area so for you to sit there and tell me I am on the 3Rd month guarantee and you guys will work for free I beg to differ you guys have made your money and now will act like you are going to work for free I am not buying it. There are multiple complaints on the same issues and every towing company I speak to regarding your company tell me that they have had same issues. I want a full refund and my rights to [redacted] back.

Dear Revdex.com,

After speaking with [redacted], we both agreed to end our partnership. [redacted] expected the seo process to...

be expedited. She was with BrandRep for a duration of three months which is still within our service guarantee to have her business ranking. Regardless of all of the work we did to help Rachael’s online presence, she insisted that she’d rather cancel her account and receive no further help.

With the utmost sincerity, it was our goal to keep [redacted] as a happy customer. We are sorry to see this complaint and Rachael’s feedback will improve our service quality.

Thanks,

This is one of those typical so called "I can get you on the front page" companies that's full of themselves. They try to get you into a contract so you have to stay. They did not give me what they promised.

The guy who I dealt with will not speak to me. Said would call me back in 15 min failed to do so.

Hello [redacted],
We have spoken about the transfer of ownership of your Google Plus profile and the reasons for doing so. We realize that this complaint was made before you spoke with BrandRep's Client Services Department. We understand that the transfer of ownership caused confusion on your part...

which was the reason for your complaints, and for the tone of your complaints.
BrandRep is required to be the Administrative owners of your Google Plus profile while we are providing Local SEO with our service Guarantee, per our service contract with you. If our partnership ended and if BrandRep ceased providing service to you, we would release ourselves as owners of [redacted] Google Plus profile and you could claim the listing, regaining full ownership privileges.
All of our account notes indicate that you are in full understanding and satisfied with what BrandRep is doing for you. Please feel free to reach out to our Client Services Department with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you very much for your time,
