I recently noticed rust pitting in the front panel of my Bosch dishwasher I purchased in I reported the concern to customer service and they offered "good will" gesture of 20% off a replacement panel listed at $I will share with all of you that this was disappointing given the purchase price of the original unitI have maintained the dishwasher as recommended and find that a $appliance and its cosmetic parts should last longer than yearsThe competition offered cheaper appliances, but I chose Bosch because of the Consumer Reports at the timeMistake on my part for doing the research and going with the recommendations by so called expertsMay I suggest to the consumer that be prepared for companies and their so called customer service standards, not to meet your expectationsThis appliance is my newest purchase in the kitchen, used the least, yet disappoints the most to dateSad day in consumer worldMay I suggest Bosch reconsider their warranty and custome

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher in April, and worked fine until January, I called Bosch & they said to call *** *** *** in Algona, Ia which we didThey came down & looked at it & said we needed a new control unit,They put that in & we left on vacation for daysCame back & dishwasher was still not working & there was a message on our answering machine that said we were responsible for the labor part of the jobWe should not be responsible for any of the workAnyhow the dishwasher still did not workI called Bosch again and first they said to call *** *** *** againI said no as they are not a Bosch dealer anymore which he informed us when he left a message on the phone regarding the laborThey said to call Seiler Appliance in Humboldt, Iawhich we didHe said it was our water heaterIt is not our water heaterDiscovered the bottom arm was not moving, fixed that & worked fine for a monthNow it will not do anything

Do not purchase the Bosch 36" downdraftThe system only accommodates a 500CFM fan and at least CFM is required for the system to workThis is based upon a service call from the Bosch technicians

Hello,We have attached the terms of warranty and per the terms of warranty the unit must be "new at retail (not a display, “as is" or previously returned model)"Warranty information is available to all consumers before and after their purchase via Bosch's
website: http://www.bosch-home.com/us/All Bosch authorized dealers are well versed in regards to warranties and "as is" / floor model / open box type sales and we can advise in no way did a Bosch representative advise it would have a full warrantyWe apologize the dealer seems to have provided inaccurate information. Your request to replace the parts free of charge has been reviewed and Bosch respectfully denies this requestBosch is not obligated to cover any portion of this however, we note being offered 50% off specific parts the customer had requested for freeThis offer stands as it is - the parts must be purchased directly from BoschFile notes reflect offer expires days after initial offerThis offer expires July 21, Our only other recommendation would be to return to the dealer due to being misinformed by the dealer. While we understand the customer may disagree our decision, this is a final offer and no other offers will be forthcoming. Best Regards,BSH Home Appliances

BSH claims that the technician found no other problems other than the ignitorHowever, the technician did not attempt to check all of the possible causes of the explosion and fire of the stove and did not look for faulty parts that could have caused gas leaksI had reported back to the company that after the ignitor was replaced the oven was releasing gas and burnt odorAdditionally I have ask the gas company to check the stove for gas leaksThey have found that there was a 74% gas reading (there should be 0%) at the vent when the oven was in useThe conclusion was that the oven was unsafe to use!! I have emailed the report from the gas company to BSH but the management ignored it and said that they don't have look for faulty parts which would have caused gas leaks leading to explosion and fire
The manufacturer acted dishonestly by failing to properly
investigate an explosion by looking for faulty parts causing gas leak, ignoring reports from the gas company and exposing my family
to a grave dangerThis is a professional stove and it looks like it was sold with defective parts or other problem because many of my neighbors and friends have older stoves and they are not explodingThe company
sold me in 2/an unsafe lemon and needs to take the responsibility! I am
asking that BSH provide a
replacement unit as soon as possible!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***It is unfortunate that I, or any other consumer for that matter, must take such extreme measures to have their issues addressed in a fair and expeditious mannerMy experience with the Thermador and Bosch Customer Support Centers of Southern California left me with no other choiceThankfully, the Bosch executives and their liasions of North Carolina have the actual skills required to respond to consumers by listening with empathy and responding with a solutionFor that, I am grateful and grateful to *** at the North Carolina offices for providing me with such serviceImmediately, she scheduled an appointment for my repair for the following day, provided me with an extended warranty for my refrigerator and in addition, offered a monetary token for my inconvenience and frustration for my ordeal. In closing, I find the resolution provided by the Bosch team of North Carolina to be extremely satisfactory to meMy thanks to the Revdex.com of OC for their assistance in this matter

Bosch manufactured the unit Bosch processes returns of these unitsThey do not dispute these facts in their respone I was told by Tassimo that Bosch had to approve and process my return Bosch has placed their name on the unit and then outsourced the customer service to *** Tassimo has terrible hold times at their call center and broken two promises to call me back Now Bosch wants to wash their hands of the defective units they made, sold, and refused to replace

To whom it may concern:
I have attached the proof of purchase for the Bosch appliances that were purchased at *** *** in *** *** ** on March 13,
I am deeply disappointed that one of the appliances have already failed The appliances were purchased on March 13, and they installed at our home on Friday, March 25, The appliance stopped working in mid-July After several calls and email, Bosch sent a repair person out on Friday, September 2, The appliance worked for one use and died again I have been in constant communication with Bosch about this product I have sent multiple emails and spent hours on the phone waiting to talk with a company representative And, it seems like I keep getting the run around with NO solution I have not had use of this product for months I would really appreciate a solution from Bosch about this appliance

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher on June it was delivered on or about July I had to have surgery and therefore the dishwasher was installed sometime in early August About weeks ago I noticed that the door was getting stains I tried a different product recommended by Lowe39s where I purchased it and got no results I ignored it for a little bit due to a graduation an engagement and vacation On June I contacted Bosch and explained the problem to them I was asked to email the receipt and pictures there are at least very definite stains on the door which are hard to detect due to the reflection of the stainless steel I got a call back the next day offering a discount on the door replacement I told them it was unacceptable since the dishwasher had been in use for approximately months and it was an almost purchase I got it on sale They stated that they would report back to headquarters and they would let me know finding

I purchased a Thermador PRG366JG Pro Range and I have had nothing but issues with it since purchaseThe first unit was replaced and the second one is having the same, if not more, problemsThere have been approximately technician visits and nothing has been resolved

When we renovated our kitchen last year, we bought all Bosch appliances Now months later, our series over-the-range microwave blew the circuit a few weekends ago when we opened the door We thought that was strange, reset the circuit and it worked for another week until this same thing happened againAn electrician tested the circuit the microwave was on, and it was fine He then tested the microwave on other circuits, and they blew as well He informed me that the problem was the microwave (we suspected as much)We contacted Bosch and after a few emails and a call, they decided to grant us an extension on our 12-month warranty, since it had been less than a year and a half since it was installed The appliance repair person came (covered by bosch) a few days later He found a bad door switch and replaced it But then it once more tripped the circuit upon being opened The repair person then repaired the second door switch and the same thing happened again He finally repaired the third door switch, and upon resetting the circuit, the microwave actually blew sparks He told us to make sure it remained unplugged until "further repair parts" came in (this was two+ weeks ago and we have yet to hear from them on a repair, apparently partly because the parts are coming from a recently hurricane-torn N Carolina) The same repair man also suggested to me that it was probably a lemon and should be replaced, but warned that Bosch would "never replace" it even though they'd probably "spend thousands" on parts to attempt a fixThis is ridiculous We haven't been able to use our microwave for nearly a month and Bosch refused our request to replace

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/10/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
After speaking with Bosch I have decided to accept the offer of their paying for the parts in full and I'll handle the cost of laborI did ask what steps would be taken if after these parts were replaced that the oven might not work and was told we'd cross that bridge when and if we get there

Attached is a picture of the copper tubing section that was removedIt clearly shows that the Ferrule is cocked on the tubingThis was the source of the leakageThis is how the tech left the installationAnd is was leaking or I wouild not have replaced itI watched the tech wipe a drop away from the site and re-tighten the connectionHe then left immediately afterwards. two hours later I found a puddle on my floor.Below is the text of an email I sent on March 24th, never got a response until I called.*** ***

From October through December Bosch repair service came out some four (4) times for our Bosch B22CS refrigeratorFirst, it was the condensorAfter it was installed at a cost to us of $ $ 516.86, it did not workThen, it was the compressor, at a cost to us of $ 432.73, which did not fix the problem (no cold or freezing ability) eitherFinally, on the last service call on 12/30/2015, the Bosch repair guy said the unit was simply defective and could not or was unfeasible to fix and advised me to contact their customer service I gave them options - pay me a certain reasonable sum or replace the unitAfter some delay tactics by customer service over a period of some six (6) weeks and my having to contact their public relations department, they offered me a new replacement unit with my having to pay an additional sum Their refrigerator had broken down some five (5) months earlier so I decided to agree to it, even in writing on the written offer/exchange agreement Bosch sub

I have spoken with (and emailed) Mr*** and we will be issuing the rebate card, which is about a week handling and delivery process. *** ***

Thermador tehcnician came early January to repair my refrigerator which kept beepingThe technician advised the control panel needed to correct the problem was on back order and would be received 1/The back order was delayed another two weeksFinally, on February the technician came to my home and installed a new control panelThe charge for service and part was which I paid with a credit card. The following morning the refrigerator leaked water all over the floor as the control panel was defective and the refrigerator shut off overnightAll of the food in the refrigerator was destroyedI called Thermador back and the technician reinstalled my old control panel, which he had kept on his truckHowever, a new control panel was again on backorder and as of this date, is still not in stockI called Thermador to credit my charge card for $507.71, as nothing was fixed and I was not reimbursed for the damaged food which was caused by their defective partThey refused to c
