Ordered washer/dryer pair and set up deliveryOn day of delivery, they called minAhead to confirm I would be here to accept deliveryI reviewed my address and directions to the property and gate code informationminutes later the delivery man called and they were at a home we lived in six years ago It's only miles from my "new" address but they could not reroute without authorization from local store and they didn't have that number After an hour conversation with store manager it was clear they could not correct their error I gave my current address for delivery at the time of purchase but apparently the old address was still in system I was told I should have checked the fine print for errors!!! I cancelled the order and requested a refund min later, manager called back to tell me that since I'd paid with a debit card, I would have to physically go to the store to swipe the card to get the electronic refund It's been six days, funds are in Home Depot account!! Once I get my refund, I will never do business with this lame "organization" again

I called HD to install rain gutters on my one story houseThe HD rep diagrammed the gutter installation and I paid the full priceTwo weeks later, I waited until no one showed after hours, After re-scheduling.the installers followed the diagram and installed three downspoutsI soon discovered only two down spouts were workingHD confirmed the bad install (poor pitch) and sent a different installerWho lied that he had fixed it but it was still the same as before.plus he created a leak which he had to return to fixThe HD install manager was called three since then each time promising to resolve or refund me only $of $This is the second time HD installers screwed up a jobI don't plan to make that mistake againI called HD HQ and they will investigate my complaint furtherDon't trust HD

Our nearest Home Depot is in El Paso, TX (2+ hours away)Working with a wish list on the Home Depot site we got an order together totaling nearly $5,for our bathroom remodelTheir Pro Dest reviewed it and found over $worth of discounts and savingsWe applied it to their shipping fee to our location (over $200).Our order was delivered about two weeks later Upon delivery we found multiple problems: Our multi-piece, $1,shower was not completeOnly the side walls were deliveredThe base was left behindOne box instead of two Our toilet had two boxes, but they were both tanksThere was no toilet bowlWe were also charged twice for the toilet on our final invoice Sheets of Durock concrete board were placed on top of other items on the truck and then a strap was cinched down to secure the loadThe Durock panels were destroyed I contacted the Pro Desk.They apologized, but I had to drive 2+ hours to return items and get the proper eplacements myself

In store service is not great but not the worst, but avoid any form of delivery at all costsI ordered a washer and dryer for my apartment and have had the delivery get fouled up times in a row due to easily avoidable, yet repeated clerical errorsI have had to come home from an all-nighter at work several times and stay up and deprive myself of sleep all for more and more let downsWe have been in constant contact trying to get this delivery through but nothing seems to have workedIt is as if they really don't want my money
That's fine, because I will be cancelling my order and taking my business elsewhereI STRONGLY recommend anyone else do the same

We just purchased our whole kitchen from Home Depot The oven they delivered did not work We called them back at this Home Depot store They (specifically a guy calling himself JJ) refused to take the product back although we have never used it He insists that we have to go through ** service which will probably take weeks, if not months His non-nonchalant, "I do not give a ***" attitude was also quite annoying Left a message for the branch manager and have not heard from him For now we are stuck with a $non-functioning junk in our kitchen We have already spent more than $eating out for two weeks
The branch manager refuses to return half-dozen messages I have left for him Apparently he thinks delivering junk to our home makes perfect business sense!!!!

I placed an order online to be picked up in your Kannapolis, North Carolina Cloverleaf storeThe order was processed, but now I am told my order can't be fulfilledThis is very frustratingI do not understand why you can't find these items at another store or in your warehouse and ship them to the store or to my home - espafter you gave me your word they were available and I had actually purchased themI am old enough to remember a time when businesses stood behind their word and did everything they could to honor itNow, it's all about the bottom lineI will rethink my next purchase and go to *** - and I will encourage others to do the same to avoid this kind of hassle

Home Depot is a store with helpful staff and services Unfortunately I have spent time, energy, and frustration when shopping there They have Telecheck , making me choose Menards or Lowes to get supplies I don't like going around finding things, going to the register, and then not taking home what I need I would like Home Depot to get rid of that useless Telecheck and let customers buy things, instead of sending good people away I have read up on the problems with Telecheck and if Home Depot can't fix their problem (using Telecheck), I guess I can't buy things there anymore I just don't understand why Home Depot would use such a obviously bad service that cuts off their nose to spite their face They really need to fix the problem or they can expect to continue to loose business -----***

This review is on the Home Depot Warranty Services...I can honestly say it was the worst and most prolonged experience I've ever had with this type of service

I would like to let everyone know about the poor customer service at Home Depot gutter installation service I paid over $for Home Depot to install gutters on January 8, At the time of the installation, I noticed that some shingles were not laid flat against the gutters and asked the installers about that and they told me it would take time for the shingles to flatten out If the shingles are not laid flat against the gutters, water could get in under the shingles and damage the decking of the roof I noticed earlier this year that the shingles were still not laid flat and called Home Depot, thinking that Home Depot would respond quickly It took Home Depot almost a week to return my calls and arranged for someone to come out at 9:AM on 1/27/to take a look to see if they could fix the problem with the shingles not flat against the guttersHowever, nobody came out or called at 9:AM When I called Home Depot, they told me that they didn't have any paperwork with the appointment When I called Home Depot's customer service, the sales manager told me that the installation had just expired on 1/8/
Firstly, I am extremely upset with the poor level of service of Home Depot Secondly, the only reason I used Home Depot because I thought I would get a longer warranty with good service because I did pay a premium for the gutters To my dismay, I received poor service and a short warranty for an expensive product for which I would have gone somewhere else and got the same result
I will never use Home Depot home installation services again It goes to show you don't always get what you pay for, especially from Home Depot

Very disappointed in your store at *** *** *** in Winston Salem, NC I purchased a dishwasher last night and was helped quickly I have a baby at home and needed one quickly so I purchased the in store display they were selling Was told I could take it home asap Today I had my installer pick it up and bring it to my home Despite me asking the night before if it comes with everything we need to install, we were missing a few key items we had to go back to the store to get...no problem After we did this, we came back and installed and there was a noticeable gap on the dishwasher door and it was leaking I called the store and the person 'helping' me said we don't really have control over display models, I wouldn't recommend them, but some customers are 'desperate' Great customer service there You are telling me I shouldn't buy what you sell? I was desperate to get something quick, but unfortunately your store doesn't carry very much, why is that my shortcoming? Anyways, I kept my cool and brought it back to the store Got refunded, but of course I was out the $that I paid for delivery and installation to 3rd party I asked the cashier if I could talk to the manager about what he could do for me He seemed very uninterested in my story though I was very calm and polite Told me he couldn't give me $check and I said wasn't asking for that I told him I was out a day of time and $and he said that any professional installer should see the door wasn't sealing flush before installing it So now it's the installer's fault that I was sold something that doesn't work from home depot? I asked what he could do as I'm asking him for help and he said knock $off a similarly priced model and have it ordered for me That doesn't really help me with getting a dishwasher now, which is what I wanted Not to mention I'd have to pay another $installation fee and I'm already out $ I told him no thanks, I'll take my business to *** I don't want you home depot thinking you are doing me any favors At no time did the manager or the guy on the phone apologize at all for selling me a faulty product, instead deflecting as if it's my fault (desperate) or the installer's fault he didn't notice the defect earlier This is very, very, poor customer service and I thought you should know Mistakes are one thing, but I gave a chance to have that mistake corrected and home depot failed I, of course, will never buy anything from any home depot again Thank you for taking the time to read this

We purchased a bath tub online through the Home Depot siteThe bath tub arrived a few days later in a beat up box that was left in front of our doorWhen we finally dragged the bath tub in the house, we noticed the bath tub was cracked and damagedWe called Home Depot customer service and they told us that they will give us a 10% discount and send us a new tubWe said that's fine and we rescheduled our plumber and dragged the bath tub back outside to be picked up
Three days later the broken bath tub wa supposed to be picked up and we were supposed to get our new tubThey ended up sending the new tub to my mother's house minutes awayAnd we still have the old bath tub sitting in front of our doorWe called customer service and they told us we have two optionsWe either had to leave a ft bathtub infront of my mothers house to be picked up or we can go rent a truck from Home Depot ourselves We didn't want a third bath tub charge on the credit cardThey gave us $off to rent a $truck and we had to go pick up the bath tub ourselves and bring it back to our house
When we finally got the bath tub back to our house and brought it up our stairs, we had noticed they sent us a right side drain instead of a leftNow we are stuck with two bath tubs and two pending charges on our Home Depot credit card
The fact they made us go pick up the wrong bath tub minutes away for basically $credit is disgracefulIt was not easy carrying a bath tub up to the second floor and then to find out it was the wrong one! We ordered it correctly! I will not be back at Home Depot for a long time and I am extremely disappointed with the customer service

Late last summer, I bought a battery operated weed trimmer from Home DepotIt served me well for the last few weeks of summerThen, when I tried to use it this spring, the battery would not chargeI took the battery and charger to a Home Depot store, and they took them to have them checked outWithin a few days, I heard that one of the units was defective, and the decision was to send me a new battery and chargerThe next day, after I was notified, I received the items, and they work just fine
I want to thank Home Depot for standing by the products they sell
I also want to thank Dan, the employee in the Tool Rental department of the Harrisonburg, VA Home Depot, for his service to me

Chapter I
I have purchased six appliances; original delivery date was scheduled and on the date of the delivery nobody showed up and hours later on the phone I still had no answer as to why I was not informed that my appliances would not be delivered on that dayHowever, a new delivery date was established
Chapter II
New delivery date arrived so did the delivery truck: half hour call before the delivery turned into minutesI was excited and ready to get the new equipmentMy happiness turned into disappointment in a matter of secondsThey only had four out six appliances, the refrigerator was not on the truck: I empty my refrigerator for second time for no reason, not to mention turning of gas and waterI had no option but to refuse the delivery, because I was informed by Home Depot that the delivery can not be made unless all the equipment ordered is present
Chapter III
Finally we have arrived on "the third lucky day"The truck has arrived, this time the delivery people called from my driveway, so much for the half hour noticeHowever, the morning turn into proverbial "cluster ...k"This time again only four out of six appliances were on the truck with wrong refrigerator and delivery personnel informed me that according to paper work they are not removing old equipmentI showed my paper work distinctively reflecting that I have paid for removalNO, that did not matter to these two fine gentlemen...Delivery canceled
Home Depot is horrible with these types of problems; after spending countless hours on the phone and being promised quick resolution as of yet nobody has called me back...Stay tuned for next chapter (" The Revenge of the Dish Washer")

My experience with Home Depot has been beyond unsatisfactory I purchased a door worth over $ The manufacturers initially made the door incorrectly and I was offered to keep the mistake (at no extra cost) even though I paid more for features which I was not going to get I declined and the replacement door was then delivered later than promised The door which was delivered was unfinished in places and had to be replaced I was then put at the bottom of the list so to speak because the 3rd door took longer than the initial door When it finally came there was still overspray on the paint and I was not entirely happy I was offered a $credit for my inconvenience I insisted on getting the offer in writing which I was given Home depot was very clear that they did not want to bill me for the entire balance and then apply a $credit to the credit card - they insisted they wanted to reduce the final payment by the discount Surprise, they billed me for the entire amount I repeatedly tried calling my Project Coordinator who earlier was so very apologetic and willing to help who would not call me back I still do not have this resolved and will be contacting the credit card company to inform them that the amount Home Depot has billed me was not authorized If they want their door back they can come and replace it I will be contact small claims to assist since the only way I can seem to get a formal complaint to Home Depot is to be redirected to the contact who is the person not responding to my calls Never again will I purchase anything small or large from Home Depot and I would highly recommend that others be very wary I was warned before I made the purchase and I did not listen Fool me once

I would like to express my appreciation for the extraordinary customer service I received from the Home Depot at Deerwood Town Center, XXXXX SW *** St, Miami, FL XXXXX, my neighborhood Home DepotI recently had a particularly complex and challenging problemStore manager Jeff Bass was immediately helpful and extremely professional in resolving a problem few managers would even begin to tackleThe issue was handled with great expertise and the skill of an exemplary managerI couldn't be more pleased with the resolution of this complex issueJeff Bass has shown himself to be a credit to Home Depot, making your entire operation look good Speaking as a long time customer, it has proven to be a pleasure continuing to shop at my neighborhood Home Depot

The Home Depot is allowing fraud as long as they are making profit Someone named Robert Santos stole my debit card and made an online purchase for $with store pick up option He picked up the merchandise and was only asked to sign the receipt No ID for the debit card that was used was asked of him I called my bank and put a claim for fraud and Home Depot is fighting the claim stating that Santos is not a crook and I'm lying If I was to purchase something online and pick up at the store, why would I drive away from my house when I have 3...yes, Home Depots within miles of my home I'm feeling so helpless because I know is pointless to fight a big company like this one, but I assure you that the so call "inverted pyramid" that Home Depot claims to have by putting customers first, is nothing but an advertising gimmick I might not have a multi-million dollar account with you, but the little business I do will NEVER be with Home Depot again

ordered Allure flooring 5/29/with the assurance that it would be installed by June 13th as of today we have not even been given an estimated date of installation by either Home Depot or their only installers *** *** We have gotten nothing but excuses why it can't be done even though they have charged our account for the product and installation We were told by customer care that they could do nothing about the charges We are living in a house with all the original flooring torn out in preparation for the new flooring No one at Home Depot seems to be willing or able to resolve this issue Needless to say this is the last home improvement project we will be doing with Home Depot
