This morning I had gone to Home Depot at Fayette Pavilion,Pavilion Pkwy, Fayetteville GA XXXXX I purchased a used weed eater from a different location After speaking with customer service, I was advised that I wouldn't be able to return the item because it's been over days One of the workers tried to fix the weed eater in tools but had a hard time The store manager saw that I been waiting for over mins and decided to credit my acct by giving me a full refund I must say I was NOT expecting the response Matt who the store Manager He took ownership of the item I brought and made MY DAY Although I was please that he honored the refund, it was the SERVICE he displayed that made the difference to me as the customer He said things like - I shouldn't have to wait while the tool is getting fixed and apologize that the item brokeI can tell he was sincere by the way he behaved and handled the situation

Home Depot gives your credit card information to their vendors I placed an order online, then received a report from my Bank regarding a charge for Home Depot that did align with the online order amount so we declined the charge Later I learned that Home Depot passes on your credit card information to their vendor so their vendor can run the charges for the third party(vendor) items We then had to resubmit the order and Home Depot did nothing to get our order in on the originally scheduled date Instead, I was offered a joke of a 10% discount for a week inconvenience and a loss of a tenant due to bathtubs arriving late I did not authorize my credit card information being given to a third party vendor and am disgusted at the level of customer service

They are very good at answering my questions and helping get exactly what I need to complete my jobs

Speechless, they only way to describe how Home Depot's left me after my horrific experience at the Zachary La Home Depot I purchased a suite of appliances for our new home The purchase went smoothly, with delivery scheduled ~weeks out for kitchen appliances When the appliances arrived the Wed before Thanksgiving, the installation company stripped the screws to the electric range They took the appliance back and stated they would have to order a new one I went to the store immediately as I had family from out of town coming in to my home for the holidays I escalated the issue to one of the managers, Don Don called the delivery service and they stated that they would deliver it on 12/8, there exact words "if I don't like it I can cancel my order" After minutes of explaining that I had no way to cook a turkey, Don offered me the floor model Unfortunately, there was a dent in this unit so we agreed that I would take it and when the new one arrived they would swap it out
On 11/30/we ordered a new Washer and Dryer An assistant manager helped us out but admitted he was struggling with the computer system We finally got the order placed and I was on my way with deliver expected on 12/
On 12/8, I received a call that my appliance would be delivered in the AM, when it never arrived, we called the number only to find out that our appliance had gone to the store Not sure how I am supposed to retrieve this appliance in my civic? Not sure why they called to let me know a delivery time to the store? I tried to work it out but ran out of time before we left town for the holidays
On 12/29, the washer and dryer arrived, I did not realize that without purchasing a stacking bracket they would not install the units We agreed to put them in the garage and that I would just need to buy the bracket and they would come out and install it
On 1/1/17, I went to the store to address the two open issues After waiting for nearly an hour, I placed my order for the stacking bracket When they charges came up, I was told that I would have a $delivery fee This was not acceptable and I insisted on speaking to the store manager, Rob Rob apologized and stated he would personally call me to resolve the stove issue and waived the $fee (The soonest they could come out for the Washer and Dryer was on 1/13/17) Rob was in the store on his holiday and clearly not working a shift
I waited another days without a call, so I went back to the store on 1/7/and Don, the first manager I spoke to promised me he would get me my range and stated Rob had the day off Later that day, Don called to tell me he had located my stove and would deliver it on Monday 1/9/
On 1/9/Don sent out two employees to deliver the stove, unfortunately, it was just deliveryThey dropped the stove, box and all in my kitchen and left with installation nor taking the old one My wife tried to explain that she did not think this was the understanding but the employees could not reach Don for an answer so the left Later that day, I went back to the store and showed Don a picture of the Range in my kitchen with the 'loaner' still hooked up I asked him "what would he like me to do?" He said he would take care of it the next day
On 1/10/17, two new HD employees showed up to resolve the stove issue; installing the new one and taking the old one One Issue Done!
On 1/13/17, the installer showed up to install the washer and dryer During the uncrating of the Dryer, the installer let it slip and it crashed to the concrete and became scraped up and damaged The installer called some 1-number and got nowhere because apparently when they left it there on 12/I became the owner and its not GE's problem (Not sure why they call GE when it's an LG product) The installer promised me that I would get a call from Rhett his manager to resolve the issue that day I did not get a call, I waited through the weekend, gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were closed for MLK day on Monday, but surely, I would get a call on TuesdayNOPE
So on Wed, I called to speak to Rhett, unfortunately, he is 'tied up in a meeting' and will get back to me I am not holding my breath
I recommend that HD reflect on their Vision of "Customer Excellence" or their Inverted Pyramid that states:
INVERTED PYRAMID
"We live by a simple premise by our founders: Put customers and associates first, and the rest will take care of itself."

I had a furnace installed thru HD from the start of writing the contract to the installation of the furnace it was a troubleAnd as of yet the installer has not replaced the door to the furnace The .installer lied and told HD I said I didn't want them to replace the doorSo he (the installer never came back) , but he got paidI complained to Customer Service about the noise coming from the furnace but no answer, so I had to call another company out to fix the noiseAfter installing the furnace I had a big gas leak because the installer did not seal the gas line to the furnace properly, The Gas company came out and shut the whole house down because the fumes were so bad I could not enter the houseThe installer did return to fix that but as far as the door on the furnace and the noise to the furnace; he did notNever again will I use their home services

(Home Depot Roofing) My roof was affected by hurricane MathewIt needed to be totally replacedWe had quotes ranging from 13,to 22,Home Depot came in the middle at 15,We signed a contract and permits were pulled for the jobAfter talking with the job manager things were going well and work should have started soon afterThen we received a call from the salesman saying they wanted an additional 5,or they would cancel the contractBy this time getting a roofer is harder and more expensiveWe worked our way through several management personal to no availHome Depot cancelled our permit and another permit in the Titusville areaThe contract did say that we would have to pay 10% of the total contract if we were to cancelI did let them know they should be required to pay the same for hardship and increased cost due to delaying service

I bought a kitchen aid dishwasher on cyber Monday - we were very happy as we got a great deal The installation was scheduled and confirmed for tomorrow Unfortunately, at 7pm tonight, just hours prior to installation, I received another phone call that all of a sudden, they don't have the dishwasher - they will need another days to deliver???
This is unacceptable, I am very disappointed in Home Depot I am so happy I had this experience with Home Depot prior to purchasing new hardwood floors - now I know where NOT to go

Negative complaint against Home Depot in Everett, WA on Hwy The nightmare started in the middle of Sept this year when I placed an order for flooringThis order took at least minutes if not almost hours to place a simple orderOnce the order was complete, the gentleman assisting me, immediately asked for payment in full of $3,No payment plan offered, I just need payment in full prior to placing your orderMy flooring should have been delivered to Home Depot approxdays after my order was placed, well, that certainly did not happenAfter the days I did make several calls to Home Depot and they kept telling me the delivery has yet to be receivedCome the end of Oct I get a call telling me the flooring has arrived and that I can pick it up at any time and then *** Installation would call to set up a delivery dateThis certainly was an error on Home Depots partI told the person I spoke to at Home Depot that I could not pick up cases of flooring, it should be delivered to my homeA few days go by, the flooring is delivered with an install date of Nov13thInstall date comes around with the installer arriving at 8:00amThis is where the real nightmare startsMy oldest son greets the installer and explains on how to lock and unlock the door if he is needing to leave at any point in timeInstaller understandsAround 8:45am I get a call from the installer stating that I have linoleum under my hard woods in the kitchen that will need to be pulled up and he also believes that the cement will need to leveled once everything is pulled upAsked the installer what the charge would be, his comment, "I'm not the Home Depot calculator." The store will call you with a quote within the hourI did get that call, however, they were not able to give me a quote either and they would have to call me backTime goes by and I attempt to get ahold of the installer via his cell phone, no answerI leave work around 12noon to check on his statusHe left my home unlocked with just a corner of the carpet in my dining room ripped up in my dining room along side the kitchen areaStill no phone call from Home Depot with a quoteAttempt to call the installer several times during the day, no return callI get home around 5pm that night to find out that all the carpet is pulled up along with the linoleum and I know have concrete flooring thru out the home with an exception of the bedrooms that were not being doneWhat a shock!! I call Home Depot regarding this matter and they tell me that I will have to talk to the installer the next dayInstaller arrives the next day to lay the flooringHe is no longer there at my home for minutes and cannot lay the flooring because the flooring is buckledContinuing this nightmare, old flooring has to be removed and a new order will need to be placed with Home DepotI do contact Home Depots corporate office in Atlanta to file a complaintThe support they have for there customers, well I cannot say muchThey basically listen to your complaint and say, I'm sorry your going thru thisTo make a long story very shortI'm now waiting for my 3rd round of flooring, which I had to change the type of flooring from my original orderThe 2nd order was buckled and also wet when the installer attempted to installI have been going thru this since the middle of Sept and my new install date for the 3rd time will not be until Jan 10thMeanwhile, I have asked for a 50% discount, and the store will only be offering me 10%, that's definitely not customer serviceFor the nightmare I'm going thru, you would think at least 50% would be a nice offerI had to cancel Thanksgiving and Christmas at my homeSince the end of Oct, I have been living out of my bedroom with no furniture in my living room, no dining room table to sit down and eat my mealsAlso, with the concrete flooring, my heating bill keeps risingI would like someone to bring to the attention of Home Depot that customers are important and they should be taken care of and not to receive a slap in the face with a 10% discount and to say I'm sorryThis complaint has been filed on this website, along with Yelp and the media has also been notified

Beware! Large Contractors/ Customers Penalized under New Home Depot System!
I am a large contractor in Boston as well as own many multifamily buildings I purchase a lot of materials at Home Depot and also do a small percentage of returns Recently I went to return and was Refused, the reason being I have returned too many items without receipts
We purchase a lot and therefore return more than most It appears because we are contractors and purchase and return a lot, we are penalized and "Locked out of Returning".!!
It is impossible because of the volume we do to carry all of the receipts with us at all times Things need to go to accounting for reconciliation, so receipts are not always in hand
Something is seriously wrong with this system! I run a business and take care of my customers that spend more $$ Home Depot on the other hand makes it difficult for large spenders and contractors
We used to be able to call a manager who could over ride They would see us in the store and know we spend This is No longer the case We are now given a worthless number to a company called "The Retail Equation" which has Zero Power to correct the situation(not even sure why they exist? !) You call and they give You a PO box to send your complaint too
I know Comcast is the number hated business in the US because of the way they treat their long term customers, raise rates on their best, longest term customers Looks like Home Depot is working its way up the list So good we have other options Hello Lowe's!

I purchased a carpet & pad in August I called the floor covering depttwice in two weeks & was told someone would call me backNo one returned my callsI drove to Home Depot to talk face to face with someone in floor coveringI explained about the calls or lack there of & she explained some people were in training & failed to give messagesI purchased carpet & pad from the very helpful lady "paid in full" & was told it would be about the middle of September before installation mind you this was about mid AugustOk I guess as they had to order & have it shipped arrival at Home Depot about Aug28thMid September came & wentNew installation date was Sept.28thOn a Monday the installers girl Friday called to ask if they could change to Thursday Oct1st as the installer didn't want to make two trips from Portland to The Dalles in the same weekI called Home Depot & explained I wanted my carpet ( no more delays )!! Or I was DONEThe lady called me back to say there would be no more date changesThe installer called to say he would defiantly be there Oct 1stI cleared out all the smaller items from my living room & put on a fresh pot of coffee & settled back to wait for the installerAt around 3:pm girl Friday called to say he wouldn't make itI hung up & called Home Depot, spoke with a manager & said I wanted a REFUND IN FULLI had to drive back to The Dalles to swipe my debit card for a refundI have never been treated so shabbily! The manager at Home Depot did apologize & I appreciate that she called to explain they contract out for installers & it's the installers fault not the storesExcuse me but the store hired the installer!!!

Part 1- Purchased a GE refrigerator from Burleson Home Depot on April 10, Total cost was Product was delivered on April We called Home Depot on the 19th that refrigerator had a drawer that wouldn't close, wasn't making ice, constantly making a terrible sound, and wasn't holding temperature Home Depot told us that they would call GE who would have to service the product at least times before declaring a lemon GE shows up at my parent's address which was not the shipping address of where the product was delivered This was the 24th of April and GE told my parents to notify us and we needed to reschedule My husband immediately called Home Depot and they said would set us up for another GE visit A technician arrived on May 1st and looked at the refrigerator and stated parts needed to be ordered and he couldn't do anything until these arrived Parts arrived and serviceman returned on May 8th to install parts (Continue to 2nd part)
Part Two- We were told to wait hours for product to reset We waited and called Home Depot again on the 10th expressing that our refrigerator was still not working and made a video and sent to Home Depot upon request Home Depot stated GE would make a return visit to listen to sound We were called by technician who stated based on video he knew what part to order- a new motor With the flooding in Texas the part did not make it to his office and the earliest he could install was May 30th Technician also looked at drawer and thought that maybe ice was blocking from closing and give it hours to RESET So now it is June and the noise is gone, but still not holding temperature and drawer will not close and GE came out again on June 24th and says needs another motor Home Depot would not even consider exchange..we weren't asking for refund just a fridge that works Have had since the 18th and can't use Home Depot refers us to GE and vice-versa

On 3-9-I signed a contract with Home Depot to replace the defective cement board I purchased from Home Depot in and gave the sales repa deposit of $6,Final measurements and costs were to be established the following week when second person was scheduled to finish measuringFive weeks later, nothing had happened, measurements not completed, order not processed so I cancelled my order with the regional sales manager on April The contract clearly states that checks will be sent within daysCalled again on April and spoke to regional sales manager who said check was cut on the 17thIt is now days after I terminating the order and still no check
I highly recommend anyone considering hiring Home Depot to read their contract closelyAfter days they can keep 10% of the total contract amount,not to mention waiting far longer than the days they state in the contract for the deposit to be returned

I have taken a 20,home project loan out at home depot to make some improvements at my house and I have a rental home I was mainly going to use the money for flooring in both home I placed the order on August 10, I was told that my flooring would be deliveredafter about weeks I had to call and have someone track down my flooring that was in the warehouse They tried to charge me the $delivery fee again that I had already originally paid forI had an install date of Oct 31,The installers of *** said they couldn't make it out until then because they had an installer get hurtI had my flooring delivered to my homeon October 31st a single installer showed up and was completely unpreparedI have a very large buffet and a foot long table and other large furniture pieces I paid extra to have the installers moveHe was one guy and was unprepared to move heavy furniture so he left and I got a new install date of Nov Well Nov came and they called and told me that the installer got hurt and I have no date for a future installI am completely disappointed in the lack of customer service from Home DepotI am having my whole main level of my home being done in hardwoodsquare feetMy home is in total disarray waiting for them to show up and do my floors I have no date of when they may even come out to install my floors all the while paying on a project loan that isn't finishedI have paid for services and have not received the serviceI am supposed to have the floors done at my rental on Dec 19th and it seems to be going the same way as when I ordered the floors and install for my home Huge failure for home depot

Went into the Dunwoody Home Depot to make a major appliance purchase The purchase included a range, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave I spent the next plus hours being "educated" by the staff as to how their appliance and delivery process worked This is probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had I needed in stock appliances delivered to me on a date that they said was possible but due to the third party they contract measures to they could not complete my request The third party company could not provide a time frame or schedule and they don't install on weekends I became so overwhelmed with their process and their very rude staff that I left the store without making the purchase I went to a competitor, made the purchase and scheduled the delivery date I needed Amazing that Home Depot has no concept of customer service I would not recommend them to anyone making a major purchase They have lost their way!!

I want to make aware of the wonderful service at the Home Depot on Shallowford Road location in MariettaI go to this location and the location on Roswell Road in MariettaI had to return a light that did not work, the Home Depot Service Clerk reminded me of why I always shop at Home DepotShe took down the numbers and went back and got another one for meThat saved me tons of timeThey were so nice and helpfulAlways make me want to come back!

We ordered carpet from The Home Depot at Mall Woods Shopping Center in Dayton Ohio They ensured us with the type of carpet we ordered that we could have it installed before our new bed was being delivered We paid for the carpet and then the delays began...lie after lie occured as to why it couldn't be installed at the time they first stated This companies customer service was not honest and did nothing to make it right for the customer They didn't care that we were sleeping on the floor for several nights due to this delay since we had to hold off our Sleep Number bed being delivered It was a mess...and again in the end they never offered to make anything right If they just would of said sorry and told us the truth in the first place I would have better understood, it was the dishonestly that pushed me to write a review on them I will never shop with them again...if you can't be honest then you can't trust them

If I could give a negative I would My husband and I ordered an Egress Cover in store while visiting this Germantown, Maryland Home Depot Although my husband was hesitant, I encouraged him to order while in the store We paid for the item and dealt with the lazy customer service representative in windows in doors who obviously did not have his coffee that morningLet me say lazy again...couldn't even get out of his chair to take the measurements for my cover Any who, we received an email that our item was ready to be picked up in record time and went to the store to pick it up...smh they can not find it A day later they still can't find it and state that they would reorder...yea a week later...still no Egress Cover Go in to this location to get my refund and they did not want to give me my cash refund from my debit card The customer service people lie and the store manager is a coward who refused to assist us The corporate office should fire them all and start again Please don't waste your time or your money in this store I'm waiting for someone in the corporate office to realize this store would benefit from a complete overhaul in employeesThis place is the worst I will drive to Frederick,MD any day and avoid this location like the plague I still haven't received my money in my account yet

I went on-line to order a ac/heater window unit and was having trouble saying in was in store only When I called 1-800-Home-Depot the associate said that there was no way for him to order this item and have it directly delivered to my home That he would transfer me to the closest store to see if they could do a store to store transfer The lady at the store said there was no way for her to order it and have it delivered to their store If I was willing to drive miles to pick the dollar item up then she would order it for me I cannot believe that it is and Home Depot being as big as they are can not have this product ordered from store to store or ordered and delivered to my home From this point on when I'm shopping for household products I will consider going to Lowes This whole ordeal has wasted around a hour of my time
