The Car Toys in Park Meadows, Colorado has a great auto detailer and the Mechanic TechManager is a good guy! However, their communication amongst each other is TERRIBLE, and they are extremely bad about keeping communication up with their customers! If it were not for J*** and N***, that specific Car Toys location would have lost my business the third visit I made there to have some things done to my carI spoke with the head Manager there at that time and he assured me that he was trying to make all communications better in and outside of the storeI went ahead and got the under glow lights for my car and inside lighting for my car, as well as, a dash cam at a $discount for the trouble I had been through there with their miscommunicationI took my car to get everything installed, they had to keep my car from 10:30am to 7:00pm MST to get everything installedI did not mind that because it was quite a lot to install, but what I did get upset about was the fact that they did NOT call me when my car was ready for me to pick up! Luckily, I just went to see if my car was ready, or my car would have been there all night long and I would not have been able to pick it up until the next morning! The head Manager, T***, was supposed to call me right after everything was installed on my car and when I asked why I was not called, he said he got busy and forgot to call me to inform me that my car was ready to be picked up, and laughed about it, as well as, blew it off like no big deal! It was a big deal because I am disabled and need my car day and night!

I called the Car Toys store in Silverdale, WA to schedule an install on a radio receiver and backup camera I had purchased via cartoys.com
I explained very carefully to the woman I spoke to (I believe her name was "Tracy," no one would tell me after the fact) that I had the receiver and camera and wanted to know what the total cost on an install would beShe took the info of my car and told me it would cost "$150" ("one hundred and fifty dollars")The appointment was scheduled and I placed a $deposit to make the appointment
Upon arrival the day of the appointment, the same woman checked me in and I double checked to make sure that my information was in the system and my deposit noted

into the store the associates were unable assist them in a timely manner, which we take full responsibility forWe kindly asked them to come back when the original technician was available to service the installation, and the customer agreed. In the meantime the *** had already fixed the issue without the store’s helpThe issue turned out to be a couple of loose wiresThe dash kit used in the original install had many parts to it, but the small trim piece was the only part utilized for the installation and the left over universal parts were not given to the *** s. For the unsatisfactory service, Car Toys offered to give back $for labor and dash kit partsThis was found to be agreeable by the *** s and the refund of $was processed on 3/29/The *** s were emailed a copy of the refund to ***@***.com. I purchased a product on June for $and have had follow up appointments over the last months (dates: 7/6, 7/13, 8/26, 9/& 921) for them to fix the defective product and each time they are blaming the issue on something elseThey damaged my vehicle and are refusing to resolve the issueOne technician tried to sell me more products in the meantime saying that will fix the issue, while another technician said the problem has nothing to do with that piece of equipmentI have contacted the location and emailed the corporate officeNo response from the corporate office

It was a very unprofessional job they treated my things in the car like it was trash the installation was horrible the seat wouldn't move had to take the car back to have them fix it which they did I was treated bad because my car wasn't new this is a valid complaint I'm not sure of installers name but it should be on record with the store but why should me or my things be treated different than some one that has more money I expected more from a so called professional installation to have to go back to have them fix it was to much and to file a complaint to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else because management seemed unconserned with how badly me and my things were treated I hope that this complaint will make sure to help them see every costumer the same

I bought a kenwood deck (refurbished) the over heated a shut offWhen I contacted the customer service they said they could send a return label if all the original contents and the box were intactBut once I told him the unit came wrapped in plastic with just a brown box he became rude and the Conversation quickly broke down from there! The Store Manager Ricardo A*** talked to Jesse A*** the T-Mobile representative to find out what the delay of payment would be for the customer’s new T-Mobile purchase. The trade in and payoff option is through T-Mobile and not through Car Toys.
The customer is responsible for all required steps to be completed to receive full reimbursement for switching to T-Mobile Jesse from T-Mobile explained that the customer *** at first sent only part of the information needed to T-Mobile and not the complete paperwork needed to receive the full refund Then the customer recently corrected the paperwork needed and then sent T-Mobile what they needed to process the full payments owed to ***That is the reason for the delay on the remainder of the money owed to ***He also did not elect to get his full compensation for the phone as a gift card, you have to select that is how you want the money back, if you don’t they will then give a credit on the T-Mobile account. This again is all the customer’s selections on the T-Mobile website and not for Car Toys to complete There is nothing that Car Toys did incorrectly in this and we have checked with T-Mobile to ensure that he has all the right paperwork needed to get his money. Ricardo has called the customer *** to advise him to call back if he has any issues with this and Car Toys will help him through the process as much as possible. This is now on the company T-Mobile to refund the money and not Car Toys, which is now process correctly on T-Mobile’s customer service. The customer will have to wait for T-Mobile to completely process the money owed

First request was to find out why no sound in rearI thought amp stolen witch it wasn'tAll he had to do is check power to rear speakersThey were defectiveIf I had known that I would have had speakers replacedHe said he could put in system which was better than the one I hadDon't like as wellOnce installed I had someone come out to help program because couldn't get lighting so could see in sunlightDidn't have that trouble with old systemWhen he came out he used passenger door which he openedI said that's strange because I locked the carHe said they could look at car but if they didn't do it I would have to pay for itThe tech said he never got close to locking systemI never go in passenger door when locked so I wasn't 100% sure they did itSo I took it to best buy where I had lifetime installation guaranteeCeasar couldn't find the connection because it must have been cut too shortHad to completely rewireThe other problem I found was that my dash was cracke

I bought a used jeep with a Car Toys installed radio and back up cameraThe radio stopped working and I took it back where I was told I had a bad "Harness" which was out of warranty $later I was back in business for a few weeks Then the radio wouldn't turn off./ I returned it today and they said the "harness" was defective When I drove it again I realized the back up camera quit working also They said "too bad it wasn't working when you brought it in However it was until I started having problemsThey refused to repair or even look at it

So they say the power of social media can make a difference when dealing with a less than reputable businessI don't know if that's true but, I certainly think we should inform our friends and relatives when we come across a business that doesn't provide a service that they claim they can or will provideSo with that in mind, here's my experience with a business called Car Toys
Roughly weeks ago I purchased a new Pioneer navigation stereo system along with new speakers in front and back as well as an amplifier at the Puyallup Car ToysI also included SiriusXM satellite radioTotal cost with installation...$3,I pick up my car after it's all installed and get a mile or so down the road and attempt to tune the SiriusXMnothingI mean, there's no SiriusXM to tune to because they didn't install it! I call them and they gave me some BS excuse about it being delivered after I picked up my car and I can bring it in the next day to have it installedThe reality is, they just forgot to install it!
So the next day I get the SiriusXM installed and leave and can't get a full minutes worth of listening without it constantly cutting out! I call Car Toys back and they said I can bring it back in the next day and they will figure out what's going onI bring it in and they said the GPS antenna was not getting a proper signal so, they would have to relocate itCuz I guess they don't check the signal quality after they install it, they just hope for the best and wait for you to call if it's not good
A few days later, I notice that my right, front speaker keeps cutting outI call again and they said to bring it in and they would figure it outWell, appointments later the problem still hadn't been corrected! So I decided to take it to a DIFFERENT Car Toys (Tacoma Mall Blvd) thinking, maybe fresh minds could figure it out!
I bring it in and they do whatever they do and, for roughly days, no problemThen suddenly, it's doing it again! Same exact problem with the same speaker! I call again and, again they said bring it in and we'll try to figure it out
This brings me to this past TuesdayI drop my car off at 9am, get it back at 7pmThe technician who worked on my car had left by the time I picked it upThe guy at the counter can't tell me what was done but said call back tomorrow morning and the technician would be inI get into my car and, the $3,sound system sounds like CRAP! I have half the output I once had and barely any base!
I call back the next morning and speak to the technician and tell him what I heard explaining that, before I could put my volume at and it was loud and clear and sounded great until the speaker started cutting out! But now I have to turn it up to to get to the same level of volume and the stereo tops out at 40! He says, " well the volume number is just a number, it doesn't really mean anything" ?????????? What???
I told him regardless, it sounds like crap! He said maybe it needs to be tuned and the "gain" adjustedApparently that professional Car Toys technician couldn't hear that for himself before releasing the car back to me!
So now they want me to come in on Friday afternoon to have them "retuned" the stereoI still don't know if the speaker issue is resolved because it seems like the adjustment made to the stereo tuning was done in an attempt to mask the problemI suspect when tuned properly, it will continue
So I guess the 7th trip to Car Toys to have my $3,stereo system sounding right will be my last! If it's not right after attempts, it's time to look into my legal options! My recommendation, stay far, far away from Car Toys!!!!!!!

weeks ago I had an alarm and camera's installedI spent $1,The alarm was not working properly Last Saturday the 18th was the 4th time that I took my car backThis last time they said the changed out my alarm with a new one, however the GPS and the RADAR DECTOR BOTH do not work They will not give me a full refund however I am still calling them to fix the problem

back in May of I sought the services of Car Toys in Hurst I spent over $in purchasing a GPS remote start alarm system w/ camera system & a touchscreen Bluetooth Kenwood stereo for my Ford FI spent months searching & quoting around different places trying to find the best deals on the system ,whileit was important for me to find a good deal my main priority was to find a place who prided themselves in customer service & offered the best warranty packagesIf I was going to spend this much money on something I wanted to be 100% sure that I could trust that whoever installed thr system would make good on their work if anything were to suddenly stop workingThis is why I ultimately chose to purchase my system along with a year warranty from Car toys thinking they would make good on their "work" especially considering I paid over $fpr the extended warranty & I did not finance anything I paid for everything cash.needless to say I am writing my comp

On March 20th we went to cartoys to have a stereo installed It worked for the first day then started to stop workingIt started by the speakers cutting out then the stereo started saying miss wiringWe had to wait a week a week to take it in on March 27thWe went back to the same cartoys to have them fix itWe went in and showed them the message on the screenThey told us we would have to wait a week for the guy who installed it to even get someone to look at itWhen we back in he saw me looked down and walked out of the room fast .we spent $ for the stereo the mounting kit for which they only used one small piece out of it and we still got charged us for the whole? kitAnd for installation which they didn't do rightI am upset they didn't have someone else look at it.we drove mins from our house to go back for them to tell us to come back
