On Oct26, 2018, Car Toys charged $ to my credit card while failing to deliver the quality of service they promised for their most comprehensive package of auto detailingWhen I complained to the store manager, who previously replied that all of their services were backed by a “money back guarantee,” I was told that they never clean seat belts “for liability reasons”; this detail, which I found questionable, isn’t disclosed anywhere on their marketing or billing documentsI was also told that I’d have to give them another chance to clean the parts of the car they’d negelexted to clean the first time

On April 28th, at 11:15-I dropped off my Mitsubishi Lancer to receive their classic interior detailI was told it will take 3-hours to be completedAround 1pm -1:I called to see an update on the status to get an idea on what I should do with the timeThe gentleman responded another hours aboutAt 5pm I still did not receive a call informing me my car was done hours laterI called and the person I first spoke to me said it was not complete and had another 2-hours I asked what is going on, and he stated they were understaffedHe ended up putting me on hold, and a manager picked up and said he had bad news, it turns out my car was damagedThis happened hours prior to me calling at The store manager was very rude about the situation and I am now without a car I am able to driveThey secured a rental car which I am unable to driveThey did this prior to telling me about the carWhen I informed the store manager about not being able to drive it he offered me $

Recently, Nov, purchased Sirius/XM receiver plus partsWas told I would have to pay about $plus taxHad no problem with that but wanted to be able to pay over time as I did not have the whole amount at that timeThey said that there was a program that could stretch it out over monthsI said okWhat was not told to me was that I would be paying over twice the worth of the product over those twelve monthsAlso was not told that I would be getting involved with a leasing companyWe all know that fine print is never readBut, I did not even receive a copy of my contact until today NovemberSo I was unaware of any and all chargesI was not even given a receipt or any kind of paperwork for the purchaseI had to ask on the day of installation for any kind of paper trail in order to show what transpired, even that paperwork doesn't have my name on itIf I had known of all this money I would spend I never would have doe thisThis is very poor customer service and poor

Bait and switch speaker installI was quoted one price while shopping then raised $when I arrived install speakersArgued for a few minutes and they lowered it $but lack of integrity and shoddy workmanship will prevent me from going backDoor panels are lose and a speaker wire in the door is not secured and vibrating during moderate volumeBuy the tools and install guide from *** and do it yourself

My car was there over one monthI was told it was fixed and fine multiple timesI paid for transportation there five times when my vehicle was not fixed and fineWowI had a good experience with Car Toys downtown Seattle about years agoThis bad experience was in May in North Seattle, 128th AuroraNo call backsNo communication about what was done/needed to be done No one knew anythingMy keys handed over with no paperwork and no demonstrations of new equipment'Take off and if you have a problem come back.' I went to Car Toys in Olympia, WA on 1/17/I spent over $I spent hours waiting for all the work to be completed which put myself and another customer passed closing time 8pmAt 10:30pm, I was informed that my car was readyI was handed the keysI asked if anyone would be going over all the work that was completed with me (back up camera, auto start, navigation, and radio with android auto features)Brandon refused to go over any of the items with me once the car was ready telling me that he had already told me everything I needed to know while I was waiting for my carI told him that I just wanted to go through to make sure that everything was working and have him help me set up my phone to the new system (since it was controlled by the phone- android auto)He told me that he did not have time and that I should just sit on the couch for a week to teach myself by playing with the phoneI told him that I would if he would set up the phone to at least get me on the road since I lived hour southI went outside in the dark to atleast test my autostartIt did not come on so I told Brandon the autostart did not workHe tested it on the main remote (of the remotes provided) and it came onI acknowledged my error as I had pushed the wrong button which he then reprimanded me about pushing the wrong button So I tested the other remote and it did not workI told him the second remote did not workSo impatiently he tested the second remote and said he did not know why it did not work and that I would need to come back tomorrow for them to fix itI told him that they should atleast make sure all the services I paid for worked before I leftDanny heard me talking and said he would test the remote that was not workingBrandon proceeded to tell him that if he could not fix it quickly to not work on it and that I would have to come backDanny was able to fix that autostart remote quicklyI then tested the locking of the doors with the remote and it did not work as promisedBrandon already frustrated with me said that I would have to set an appointment to come back and that they were booked up for the next days and that the earliest they could have me come back was on Sunday, days awayI made the follow up appointment and went back to my car feeling like an it for spending $here and about ready to cry as I couldn't get my android auto to work that turned on the navigation and radio featureAs Brandon walked out, I asked him one more time if he could help me get all set up to at least get on the roadHe got angry with me when I couldn't remember the "OK ***" commandI got another unprofessional reprimandHe told me that he didn't get paid to help me after 8pmI asked him if customer service ended at 8pm and his response was "basically" and leftI sat in the parking lot trying to figure out how to get my new android auto feature to activate when Danny returned to help me when he noticed everyone had left the parking lot, but meDanny patiently helped me get my android auto set up so that I could leaveThank you DannyI will cancel my Sunday appointment that I made with Brandon to get my remotes fixed for locking the doors and will go somewhere else since he does not see the value of a return customer

Against my better judgement went to these incompetent guys to install a remote start systemKevin quoted me a price and an install time over the phoneBoth the install time and the price changed when I got to the shopAgain against my better judgement I went ahead and paid before the service was complete(Kevin did not give me a receipt) I dropped the vehicle off on a Thursday morning 10amthe told me to hours for install4pm rolled around and I hadn't heard from anyone so I decided to callThey said they just need to program the keys and to come on inWhen I got there they told me they would be done in minutesAn HOUR later Kyle told me that they couldn't program the keys and that I had to take it to the dealer to have them reprogram the keysSo the next day I took the vehicle to the dealer which cost me moneyThe dealer did their thing and then I returned to Car Toys that same dayAnother quote of minutes to was given, yet another hour went by and they still couldn't jet the remote start to workThen they tried to tell me that it was still a key problemThe assured me they could have the problem fix by another dealerSo once again I trusted them with my vehicleThey drove it to the second dealer once there the dealer did something to the vehicle to where they can't even get it to start nowI have been without a vehicle for going on days now with no resolution or solutions to this issueThe motto from Kevin, Kyle (Store Manager) and Bruce (Assistant Manage) is "no Sir we can't do that, and we don't know whats wrong with your car"The sign behind the counter says "Satisfaction Guaranteed" There is no way anyone can guarantee ones satisfactionThey couldn't answer the question when asked either

Purchased a nearly $DVD headrest system with warranty Salesperson specifically sold warranty to us as covering physical damage Cheap plastic secured headrest to seat, which is particularly concerning as this is a vehicle safety item Plastic quite predictably broke, leaving headrest improperly mounted Brought to 102/Halsey location for repair after speaking with claim representative and following their direction Store kept it for a day and did nothing, did not even call us to tell us the progress (or rather non-progress) of the situation Took car to Jantzen Beach location whose staff was marginally more helpful They called me after several days, told me the claim was denied as it was "physical damage" (directly contradicting the sales pitch on the warranty), and to add insult to injury told me they could not repair the item, they do not sell the headrests in "singles", and I would have to buy a whole new system

I learned a very costly lesson, never do car stereo installation yourself I pay what I consider professionals at *** *** and Car Toys do the work I own a Chevy Camaro I dream of replacing the factory stereo with an awesome stereo professionally installed
That is where my nightmare begins In I purchased Alpine car speakers from ***.com I then inquired at *** *** if they could install the for me They agreed after plus hours or I got my car with the upgraded speakers The stereo sound quality had been lowered My wife has the same car it now sound better by far I then heard heard fluttering it was either the speakers or poor installed Several months later I took the car to Car Toys after looking at the rear speakers in trunk The wiring installation compare it too someone installing in their backyard I paid for crappy wiring it is basically a joke

Purchased a Chevy TahoeAlready owned a Chevy SuburbanBoth vehicles hand a *** navigation and audio system installedThe Tahoe had an older model installedWe hired car toys to swap the older nav system out of the Tahoe and re-install the older model in the suburban as we had a pending sale on the SuburbanWe also purchased a new alarm system to be installed on the TahoeWe dropped the vehicles off on Monday August 15thWe were told we were able to pick up the same day before closing at 9pmpm my husband shows up to pick up the vehiclesDoug the installer was rushing around infront of my husbandHe stated he was having a hard time with the install because " who ever installed the nav system did a terrible job!" ( it was installed a few years prior at this very same Car Toys location on Aurora.) He assured my husband the cars would be completed soon and advised him to go payMy husband paid in full the balance $ 1,Doug was not able to complete the Tahoe before

The Regional Manager reached out and spoke with *** on August 22nd*** mentioned the issues that he has had with the boat audio system cutting off and that he had to bring it back several times due to these issuesThe install team looked over the install and allowed it to play for over an
hour and couldn’t duplicate the issue the customer was having while it was at the storeThe customer took it to another store and they determined that there was a factory relay that was getting wet that was causing the system to shutdown randomlyThey replaced the factory circuit breaker with a fuse and charged *** $They did let him know that it wasn’t anything that Car Toys was responsible for, but rather a factory relay that was getting wet and causing the random shutdown of the electronicsThe customer agreed that they told him that but was frustrated that we couldn’t figure that out during the other times we looked at itWe agreed that we would refund the $fee that he paid to have it resolvedHe is going to bring the receipt to Car Toys and we will take care of the feeHe said he will let the Revdex.com know of the agreement as well

I went car toys to get a stereo and my door was fine absolutely no issuesI buy the stereo and come back the next day for the installationI come back and still my door is perfect with nothing wrong and the workers know that because I'm sure they opened the door many times for my installationAnd also before installation they open every door to check my speakersA worker comes in and tells me it's ready so we go outside and he opens the passenger door and shows me how everything worksAfter that he leaves and I go to the drivers side to try to leave but it was kinda hard to open the door but didn't really think anything of itI got it open and was sitting there playing with the stereo then when I try to close the the first time it didn't close but I thought I just was paying attention and may not have actually tried to close it cause I was still focused on the stereo so I try again and it still won't close as if something was blocking it so I pull harder then it closesSo I end
