Purchased a Kenwood in-dash stereo for my truck on May 12, at Car Toys' Division street Spokane location for $350.15, this amount included a one-year repair/replacement warrantyThis stereo was probematic from day oneOn October 10, I requested a replacement stereoCar Toys would not honor the warranty and provided no options other than further repairI had already twice before had this stereo at Car Toys for repairThe sales rep said nothing was on record of any previous repair work, one which included erasing the memory chip of the stereo deck and reprogramming anew

Regional Manager, Jason J***, called customer *** and *** *** on Tuesday August 15th to discuss their recent experience at Car Toys. *** was the customer that was working with employee Arthur S*** about her vehicle to get a new stereo installed at a certain price
point. Arthur found something in her price range, but failed to include the steering wheel controls on the initial quote. When the customer came back to drop off the car for the installation, it was then that the employee told her that he forgot to offer this option and she would need it if she wanted the controls to work. The customer was hesitant, but agreed to get it installed. Arthur however failed to mention the cost and just assumed the customer would be ok with the price and that this would put her out of her price range. The job got completed, but there was a bigger price difference than what was expected to the customer at pick up. The customer was shocked, but paid the cost since she felt she had to at this point. The store did try and give some discounts to help with the costs, but this was still well outside the price the customer felt was acceptable. Arthur should have first quoted the price with this option and let the customer decide what they wanted. Then he did not fully communicate the price which also could have been better explained to the customer. This situation will be counseled to the employee to ensure we do not have these miscommunication issues again and cause a bad experience. Regional Manager agreed with the customer’s point of view and we are very apologetic of this experience. It was agreed between customer and regional manager to give back $to the customer for the extra part that was not properly discussed and also for customer service. Car Toys is very apologetic for this type of customer service and will work to ensure we do not have these kinds of mistake going forward. The customer was happy with this settlement and was issued a refund on Tuesday Aug15th of $120. Thank you *** and *** for allowing us the chance to make this right

I purchased over $worth of products from Car Toys in November and they proceeded to install the components boughtA month later I was back in their shop because of issues with the way the radio was working(actually not working) They proceeded to make some changes and adjustmentsIn February more issues with my radio brought me back to Car ToysThey proceeded to honor my warranty and replace the defected itemsWhen my car was finished and I tried to leave the parking lot the radio quit working againI went into the shop and asked for my money backThe manager laughed and said I needed to take that up with CorporateI wrote letters to the Corporate office to let them know what happenedThe only thing they keep offering is to repair my vehicle AGAINI am not interested and would like my money backI have all the boxes for the parts they put in my vehicle

Car toys is a totally *** scam ripp off peopleroberts, chris, carl , josh they are all thief's just trying to make money out of youthey dont care wht u wantThey want sales not customers satisfaction..it was my bad decision that I went to a store for a nice sound systems.I was being told I will be satisfied from the sound system and from our service and then I decided to go for itI told Robert I wana boomie sound he was like dnt worrie u will be happy and then I told him I dnt want it today just give me an appointmentHe said I will be able to make it today if u really want to get it done by todayHe said It wont take that long for us to install in your car..I dropped off my car and J was excited to get my car tonight then suddenly around I got a phone call from store manage saying that we didnt hv a laptop to tune your car..is that possible if we can do it any other day..I was pissed that time coz I was hoping that I will get my car with sound system But they were just making me leave my car that day and they made me to take a day off from my work Coz they kept my car that nightnxt day they did work on my car and it was terrible *** up sound..I was very disappointedIt was nor good It was too sharp for me.I told Robert first day I want boomy sound but it was not even close to boomy it was too sharp for my ears and on the top if u turn if up little loud..it start cutting off the running was not good at all and they charged me $for the whole setupMy factort system was good..atleast it was not cutting off..and then nxt day I showed it to Robert...and he said whoever did that it is a terrible job..even u turn the radio off there was humming going on after ever second then I told store manager this system is not good u charged me way too much but didn't do a satisfactory job on my carThen another day I came to know they drilled my back car seat..they ripped off my car seat with screw...and the store manage was not surprised from that screw...it was my terrible experience with car toys then u decided to get my factory system back coz I dnt wanted to spend that much money that doesn't even sound good and then they said we threw Ur old speakers ***They didn't even tell me store manager told me another day we will get u ur back speakers another day..but they didn't give me anything..and I was stuck coz I can't go back to my factory system...and another drama by the store manager...then I decided to change my whole system coz there was alot of problems going on with that system then I decided to change my whole setup coz u didn't do it job properlyAnd they tried to charge me again for installing their stuff again and I returned them and got the cheaper system and they didn't refund me the difference.The reason why coz u was very calm from the day one..I was just being too good to them .They are not friendly...they claim they are for customers satisfaction but they are here for only money...creepy people dnt even know wht customer is looking for...I want my money back

I took my Audi to Car Toys to have an amplifier and speaker box professionally installed on January 21, These items were installed in the trunk of my car and during that installation a hole drilled into the truck floor also pierced the fuel tankDriving home after the install a strong fuel smell was present in the cab of the carA few days later the check engine light came onI took the car to a repair shop and the diagnostic code was Evaporative System leak caused from the hole that pierced the fuel tank, creating a dangerous and unsafe issue with the carThis issue was pinpointed after a week in the shop, extensive labor cost and a smoke test at the repair shop, resulting in a bill over $I contacted Car Toys last Friday the 19th to notify them what the repair shop had found and spoke to Tyler S*** the assistant managerTyler asked if I had already had the car repaired and I told him I had just paid over $to diagnose the problem and that I had an estimate for th

Cartoys had an dvertising about the possibility of buying and paying within months at no extra charge or interest, I went there because the advertising looks promising, talked to the seller what I wanted, finally I decided what I needed, we follow to do a review about how it was going to be the payment for months, the guy say I was going to pay just every week out of my account directly for months and that was it, I didn't buy the first time, after days I went to cartoys again, talked to the seller(don't know the name) but I wanted to make sure it was going be the dollars for moths and that was it, he agreed and said that was all and the speakers were totally mine after the months of paying, so the catch is this it's being more than months and they are still charging me the dollars, I didn't noted it till now, so I went online to check about my order status and it showed that I still own them around 400, the total amount was around when actually it was for

I had a remote start installed in my Tundra Invoice # *** on Tuesday 06/19/I recently purchased the vehicle on 06/17/only a few days earlier in which we made a full walk through of the interior and exterior of the truckI dropped the truck off at 4pm on the 19th and picked it up at 7:pmOnce I drove away I pulled into a Orielly’s auto parts store and noticed that My truck had New damage to the from passenger side bumperI called the store and returned to discuss the matter with the manager on duty DanielWe went over the video footage Which unfortunately does not show the Vehicle actually entering the Garage doors, You are not able to tell whether the driver at the time went through without hitting the side wall After taking pictures I decided to speak with Brice the store manager the next dayHe said they would submit a claim and respond back in a few daysI was then contact and told that the claim was denied because the camera does not show the truck entering the garage doorWhich is no fault of mine, My pictures were not asked for in any way – they show the damaged to my bumper and damage with Silver paint on the wall on the entranceAlso the damage to the wall is the exact same height of my Bumper which happens to be a Lifted truckI was just told there is nothing we can do and that would be the end of the matter In my view was clearly done by the employee since I only drove that truck times before taking it to The storeI called there director Chris , He said he was busy and would call me back - Never called back --- Very unproffesional and I will not be using their sevices again

On 02/19/I purchased a new stereo system for my vehicle, the total coming to $($labor)Since the purchase the system failed twice, it was replaced once on Thursday 02/25/The replacement had the same issues as the original unit, it caused my vehicles dash to freezeThe speedometer, signals, heater, rpm model, the system including the 7" screen and the brake lights all stopped workingThe only way it would work is to unplug the battery for minutes then connect it once more, since the second unit was put in the vehicle it is doing the same thingI spoke with the store manager (Raul) who told me everything could be returned and I would not be charged, when I followed up with him he said he would make sure it was a fair deal for the labor they put inThe labor was not refundable, this was never explained when I purchased the productI also did and interior and exterior detail to my car, it was done a second time as it was not done correctly the first timeAft

Had nee backup camera and head unit installed just got the car today and there are all scratches all over my hood and screw/fastner missing after the install was completed also dent in my car nowI have pictures before the install was done and those scratches and dents are not thereAlso they are deep and can tell they are new!!! I also have proof from the dealer I bought it fromI will not use my insurance and you pay they deductible! You will pay 100% of all repairs and that is final or I will refund my dollars that I was charged!

I called and made an appointment to have my car detailed I took it there and left at 10:am The detailer told me that it would be ready at 2:or 3:because it takes time to get everything dry I said ok I will wait for your call At 2:the detailer called back and said they were running behind and it wouldn't be done till possible I said ok no problem just give me a callAt 4:the detailer called and said my car was ready I had to bum a ride to pick up my car I got dropped off I got my keys and left I checked the outside of my car and it looked good I got in and there was paper on the seat and paper on the floor I thought they just put it there because when they finished cleaning they didn't want to get it dirty I'm driving home and I set my phone on the seat and I notice my seat is wet I put my hand on the carpet and its soakedI also noticed the smear prints on my back window that my grandson did was still there They didn't even clean my back window I immediately call car toys back and ask if I can speak to the manager The man that answered said he was the closing manager I said I'm very unhappy with the service I got My seats and carpet in my car are wet You had my car since 10:am and now you give it back to me wet You didn't even bother to tell me that it was still wet and you put my mats back down which would have molded if I hadn't figured it out He said come back and we will talk together with the detailer I drove back and he talked to the guy in back and not with me and another guy was standing back there smiling and laughing while I'm standing there talking to the detailer The detailer said he would give me a free car wash for not drying my carpet and seats and he would clean my back windowThat was an insult and yes I blew up and I demanded my money back or even half my money The manager came out and talked to me I told him I was mad about the service and I wanted my money back He said I will give you a free car wash He did calm me down but I want everyone to know you don't treat customers that way and if you are going to offer a service you should do the service that you advertise I also think its an insult to be offered a free car wash when you couldn't do the job right the first time
