Problem: I have contacted this company via phone several times over the past few months in an attempt to get caught up on my auto loanEverytime I call I try to make a payment with a rep, I get forced to hold for several minutes at a time, then a very rude rep comes to the line and ensues an argument with me over the account being past dueI am more than aware that it is past due as they have called me several times after I told them to cease and desist communications to my cell, they have continued to call after that, call references, relatives, anyone and everyone after told wrong numbersVery much harassing to myself and those around meI was successful at making a one time payment for $today over the phone but it did not come easy, *** with CarFinance that said he was a manager, stated to me he was refusing to take my January payment on my account that is lateHe then threatened me with reposession of my vehicle even after I told him I am struggling to get caught up and should be by mid-AprilThis is unbelievable that these people just start arguments with customers and refuse to take payments over the phoneAbsolutely ridiculousPlease do something about this because it should be illegal between the constant harassment and the terrible serviceTheir system online doesn't allow payments to be made for late payments, rather the total past due; so people are forced to call in, get chewed out, get talked down on, I was told by *** that I was "Not a model customer." Absolutely sickening to be talked to like a drug-addict killer on the phone while I am desperately trying to work out an arrangement.Desired Outcome: I want those to be held liable for the terrible treatment of myselfI want my late fees for the past three months to be credited to my account since I tried to make the payments several times and it was either refused or the rep would change the subject away from the payment just so they could yell at meThis loan is going to get refinanced soon, I wouldn't wish anyone to deal with this company everWhat a chop-shop of a lending institution

I was not happy with the results because they still did not tell me if the balance is all from interest that has added up over the past few months of me trying to get the gap insurance to pay and now they tell me I do not have gap insurance and the payment I did get from the gap insurance is going to be refunded making my balance higher nowI ask him to remove the negative remarks on the credit bureau and he told me he could not do thatThey could remove those remarks as I do not feel this is all my faultThere is a lot of lack of communication on their partI have never had a car before that was a total loss and was in the dark about how everything workedI feel like I made every payment on time and when the accident happened I assumed the insurance would pay, then gap insurance would pick up and that would be itInstead I had to beg Car finance for documents to send to the gap insurance and then to find out they are refunding them the money I finally got them to pay is something else that makes no senseI think they could have removed the negative remarks and not let interest build up since I was such a good customer and made every payment on time until all the accident happended and I did not know I would have to owe anythingThere is a lot of lack of communication from car financeI emailed several times and ask for information with no response because they were closed by the time I got off workI think they could work with their customers better and would not recommend anyone going through this company to buy or refiance a car

As you stated, you have previously waived a late fee and for this I am grateful, however, when I was approved to put a payment at the end of my loan to help me catch up with my account, your office told me that if I paid two of the three car payments I was behind, the third payment would be put to the end of the loan and the account would be current There was no discussion of late fees not being included I was never told that there would be a remaining balance and therefore the they were not paid So my issue is two fold, first, the late fees should not exist on the account in the first place and second, you should not be charging late fees on late fees and then take the late fees out of my principal payment and charge me late fees because my payment wasn't paid in full My payment have been paid in full and have not been late since December, therefore no late fees should be assessedPlease clear up this matter immediately or I will advance the complaint to the next level and begin the process of an investigation of your company's business practices I am not opposed to going to the media

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below California Law IMPOUNDS a vehicle driven by a non licensed driver for daysNow the key word here is impounded, not repossessedCar finance took their own action by taking the car to hold in an auction facility, where we got no belongings back when we received the vehicleAfter paying the ridiculous amount of money to get the car back from impound and all fees that applied, there was no talk about a repossessionIt’s uncanny to me that a impound turned into a repossessionRepossession is a non payment or late payment which is understandableMy point is the vehicle was IMPOUNDEDPlease take the wrongful repossession off of our credit reports

Hello,I did speak to [redacted] this morning. Getting my vehicle back was solved but not my other issue. I also stated the issue with the REPO on my Credit Report. I was never late and have always made my payments on time. After speaking to Impound Supervisors, Finance Coordinator and an Attorney I was informed that should not have happened especially since my account was and is current.
