Review: I, like many others it seems, needed to change my address because of a move. I thought I was on the post office website, but ended up being on this fake website. When I searched google for "usps address change" the site was the first choice and even used the register and trademark of the USPS. They charged me $40 to do what the post office does for a dollar on their site. I tried to contact them about a refund. No response. I tried to contact them about the situation several times, but have received no response. To make matters worst they charged me twice on two different cards because I was consolidating both mine and my spouse's.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on the two different cards.

Review: This company misrepresents as being part of the US Postal Service. It offers to change your address and charges $39.99 for this service. The USPS only charges about $1. This is a complete scam and are pretending to represent a government agency.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of money as they have misrepresented who they are. I believed myself to be changing my address with the official United States Post Office not a fraudulent company.

Review: I went online to change my address with the post office, which usually costs around $1. Unfortunately, I cannot get ahold of anyone at this website, which was www.changemypostaladdress.com, through any of the contact information on their website, although it clearly states, "full refund, no questions asked". This is a huge scam apparently, and I would just like someone to fix this. The confirmation email has mot even been received. Please help!!Desired Settlement: I would really appreciate a full refund of $39.95 to my account. I did not get any pricing information whatsoever before purchase went though. There was no confirmation of my order, nothing!! Please help!!

Review: I was trying to change my moms address for her. I went on what I thought was the post office site it was really the scam site they charged me $39.95 for a address change sent me one email and never the another with in 24 hours like they said they would. They have no phone number a fake address on the site and when I try to email the email comes back as unknown domain. So I can't even contact them about the scam.Desired Settlement: $39.95

Review: Requesting a temporary change of postal address. I use the online USPS change of address webpage. This time, on February 4th I thought I was performing the same service at the USPS change of address site. This changemypostaladdress site looked and indicated in all ways that it was a legitimate United States Postal Service site. I followed the instructions , provided my addresses and C etc. It even indicated that it will be sending me a confirmation of address change. A week later, when I received no confirmation, I checked my CC bill only to discover that the changemypostaladdress service had charged my CC $39.95. And no change of address was effected. Sonce the the USPS has no recored my my change request. They are a fraudulent and illegitimate site whose only purpose is to defraud people of money.Desired Settlement: They should refund all unwitting customers like myself of the money they STOLE.

Review: I am writing to ask for a refund of $39.95 that was charged to my wife's credit card when I changed her address. Before we moved I changed my address by doing a google search for USPS Change of Address. I went through the process and was charged $1.05 for the change of address with USPS. So, when I tried to change her address a few weeks later I went through the same process. However, unknowingly I was changing it through your website and she was hit with a charge for $39.95. I did not experience any convenience in filing through your website than I did in going directly through USPS as I actually thought I was going through USPS again. I did not receive any additional benefits or anything that justifies paying an extra $38.90. I feel that this is a very deceptive practice and I feel that we have been cheated out of our money. I would very much appreciate you crediting the money back to my wife's card. Your above statement says that you "take pride in providing superior change of address service". Please stand behind that because I am very displeased with the service and feel it is an absolute terrible and unfair value.Desired Settlement: A full refund of all money that was charged to my wife's credit card credited back to the card.

Review: This website misrepresented itself as part of the USPS. It did not clearly state the charges. After realizing that I was charged $39.95, I tried to contact the company. There is no phone number to call. I tried to submit an online request, however the request I sent is to an "undeliverable" email address and was bounced back to me. The site clearly states that there is a 100% money back guarantee and I would like to get my money back, as this site is clearly a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $39.95

Review: I went to google to look up the united states post office to change my address. the second one listed under USPS, said 'USPS address change-official USPS form. I filled out the forms. and hit the continue button. was immediately charged 39.95 to change my address. This site claims they are an official USPS site. They are not.....very misleading, false and inaccurate.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. 39.95. thank you.

Review: I thought I was I was changing my address at the usps website but I noticed they took $39.95 instead of one dollar they claim an questions asked refund but when I contacted them the e-mail returns to sender. I would really like a refund.Desired Settlement: I just want a refund of $39.95

Review: I mistakenly went through the site because I thought it was USPS. I was charged $39.95 without any confirmation nor any information about being charged the amount. There is no phone number to call to cancel the order. They just steal people's money for what should only be $1 for a USPS change of address. Rip of! They take advantage of people.Desired Settlement: I want the order cancelled!!!! I want my $39.95 back!

Review: I went to https://www.changemypostaladdress.com/index.jsp thinking that this website was affiliated with the postal service in changing of the address for my boyfriend [redacted] who doesnt have a debit card so I used mine. The company was not legitimate and they charged me 39.95 They are not from Erie, Pa, I am but the company has no contact information whatsoever you can only email them. I was never forewarned of my card being charged 39.95 or I wouldnt have proceeded because I do not have the money for that and need refunded immediately. This site is not okay and is flat out fraud.Desired Settlement: 39.95

Response:

The website does not have any address or phone number to provide the only way to contact them is by email

Review: I was charged $39.95 by the online merchant "USMAILFORWRD" on December 8th, 2014. There is absolutely no way to contact the company. The submit email form on their website is a fictitious and inoperable mailing system. Their refund guaranty cannot be fulfilled if a customer cannot contact them. This should be illegal.Desired Settlement: Full refund in the amount of $39.95.

Review: I, like many others it seems, needed to change my address because of a move. I thought I was on the post office website, but ended up being on this fake website. When I searched google for "usps address change" the site was the first choice and even used the register and trademark of the USPS. Review: I have being trying to contact the business to inform them I want a refund. I thought this was the USPS and tried to contact them. The contact information doesn't work the email comes back as an error. Please help me get a refund. I don't want their service and have no way to contact them.Desired Settlement: I just want them not to process claim or refund my money.

Review: I went on the website changemypostaladdress.com and completed the required information in order for my mail to be forwarded to a new address. The service stated that I would be charged $1.05 and the amount withdrawn from my bank account (via checking since I entered my debit card #) was $39.95. I went back on to the website after I saw the charge and could not find any direct phone number to call about the charge--or even an email. There was NO WHERE on the form I filled out that said anything about being charged anything over $1.05 and would greatly appreciate a refund of the overcharge. This is a fraudulent, unethical website.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge of $39.95 to be put back into my bank account.

Review: I mistakenly thought I was on the USPS website to fill out a change of address form. I was charged $39.95 to file a change of address form which is either free from the USPS or a nominal fee of $1.05 online with USPS. I have contacted USPS and they are aware of the issue and are trying to shut down such sites but technically it is not fraud. The change of address was never filed so technically I did not receive the service I paid for. I contacted the company and was told of all the wonderful "benefits" of their service at which time I disagreed and requested a refund. It remains to be seen if I will indeed receive a refund. The USPS recommended I contact my senator which I did contact Senator [redacted]' office and also my credit card company.I want to file a complaint with the Revdex.com as well as I feel this fraud. I will not suffer hardship if I lose $39.95 but others such as the elderly or poor will and it angers me to see people lose hard earned money by such deceptive practices. I am a college educated professional woman who is a careful consumer and I got caught off guard.Desired Settlement: I would like to see my money refunded but more than that I would like to see this website shut down as it is deceptive and fraudulent. This is a service the USPS provides free of charge or a nominal fee online of $1.05. They do not provide a legitimate product and scam people out of $39.95 to do absolutely NOTHING..they did not even file the change of address form for me which would at least make the service semi legitimate. Companies like these are what is wrong with the world today!

Review: I went online to search for the USPS website to for an address change and found this website. I submitted an address change request and shortly received a charge of $39.95. This website comes across as the official USPS website as it has the label USPS on it. I find the website to be misleading resulting in my unintended purchase. The marketing strategy of the company is purposefully misleading since I do not wish to spend $39.95 on changing my address. I was going to file an address change on the USPS website and pay $1 for a simple service.Desired Settlement: I wish to pursue a full refund of the $39.95.

Review: I went to the USPS website in order to update my address. Somehow I ended up on www.changemypostaladdress.com and they charged me $39.95. All over their website in bold letters it says FREE OF CHARGE and only in very small fine print, which I didn't notice until after I saw the charge on my bank statement, did I notice the $39.95. This website makes you think you are on the legit USPS website. I have reached out to them to get a refund on my card and they have not contacted me to discuss the matter. After doing some research I have learned that this has been a problem for a number of people.Desired Settlement: I would like my $39.95 refunded as soon as possible.

Review: went to change my address thinking it was the usps change of address form it advertised as a dollar charge and charged us 39.95 instead. when I went to contact them there messaging system would not allow a message to go throughDesired Settlement: refund

Review: Last week I moved into my first home and used changemypostaladdress.com to change over my postal address. Today a charge of $39.95 was withdrawn from my checking account. Shocked, I felt I had to contact Revdex.com. The typical cost to change an address is just a dollar. Upon completion of the change of address form, (Neew and old addresses, contact info) I was asked to supply a form of payment for charges that would apply. At that time, I scrolled down to verify what I would pay for but I saw nothing. Even after auithorizing, I was not shown any form of receipt. Anyone who's moved would agree that changing addresses is very important. This business takes great advantage of many people who are trusting that a change of address will take place and give them a forty dollar scam.Desired Settlement: I'm asking for a refund of $38.95. This would be the additional charges that I did not know I was paying for. I planned to pay only $1.00 for the change of address.
