Review: I filed for a change of address was told it was $1.05. when I checked my bank account I was charged $40. I have tried emailing them and calling them and no one answered. I waited for 30 minutes on the phone. I would like my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund

Review: I was misdirected by this website while trying to get to the official United States Post Office website. I believe that Change My Postal Address.com was the actual USPS.com's site as they have duplicated the style and appearance of the USPS's site. After entering my payment information it never supplied me with the total I would be charged. When I then found the $39.95 charge appear on my card I attempted to contact them. They will provide NO phone numbers with which to contact them. They have an email form which provides no response. There needs to be some way to contactthem directly to attempt to get a refund. They guarantee a refund on there site but offer no attempts to live up to that guarantee. This site is nothing more than a scam. In the terms and conditions page of this site they list " All sales are guaranteed and a no-questions-asked refund is available if you are not satisfied with your order. " but have no intentions of backing up this claim. All we would like is a refund.Desired Settlement: We would like the total amount that was charged, $39.95 refunded to our account, and all our personal information removed from their site.

Review: The site that my web search took me to, https://www.changemypostaladdress.com/usps.jsp?entry=entry, didn't disclose the $39.95 change of address charge. I clicked next assuming that the site would be required to disclose how much my card was going to be charged before completing the transaction. That never happened. Instead, it just said that the fee "included the $1.05 USPS address change." Very misleading. If I would have clicked on other pages on the site, I could have found the information about the $39.95 charge. The site should HAVE to disclose the amount for the service on all of the pages.I have saved screen shots of the page that doesn't disclose the full charge for more information if necessary.Desired Settlement: I am not satisfied with the service at all. I would like a full refund and to see the website disclose full charges on ALL OF ITS PAGES.

Review: This business misrepresented itself as USPS official website for change of address. Instead of the one dollar fee I was charged $39.95.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for being extremely over charged by $38.95 for a process that costs $1.

Review: Change My Postal Address website is VERY misleading. actually very deceitful To look at the site you will think you are on the United States Postal Service site and you are not. The first page small print only mentions the $1.05 charge for the address change is makes no mention of the $39.00 charge they zap you with later in the process. I completed the questions then at the end of the process I saw the charge and pushed the cancel key and they still charged my account. This is very difficult for me since I am moving and my funds are very limited right now. This is a very unethical company, and I hope you can do something. They should be required to put their fees up front on the first page of their website. I checked my bank account within minutes and they had already charged my account...I also contacted my bank within minutes, and they couldn't do anything to help me. They did however tell me this happens with this company and they should be reported. I will be also reporting them to the Attorney General.Desired Settlement: I would really be so happy if I got my money back...just can't afford this right now.. It would be wonderful if this company was required to make their website disclose their charge up front so other people are not ripped off in the same manner. It appears they have had many complaints. It's sad nothing has been done to stop them.

Review: I did not authorize a credit card transaction in the amount of $39.50 for change of address services. However, I was charged this amount by The Address Change Service. I received a receipt via email for an identification verification charge of $1.05, which I did authorize. I contacted the company at the following phone number. ###-###-####. The woman who answered said that I would receive a "partial refund" and would still be charged for a"registration fee". I then emailed the company and asked for a full refund because I did not authorize a charge of $39.50 for their services. I received an email stating that I would be given a full refund and that it may take up to seven business days to see the refund. After 10 days and still not receiving a refund, I emailed the company again regarding not receiving the full refund for unauthorized charges to my account. I also never received a receipt for the $39.50 that I never authorized to be charged to my credit card.Desired Settlement: Investigation , legal action, charges against this company for fraudulent activity

Review: I went to online site to change my mailing address, it appeared I was on the official [redacted] website and proceeded to enter information for my address change that was suppose to cost 1.50. The next day I had a charge to my debit card account for 39.95 from the site. I am OUTRAGED that this happened, let alone the 39.95 I didnt really have to spend. Especially on something that is suppose to cost 1.50. I have contacted the site I thought was the offixial site and have not heard back from them about the matter. I just want to help save other people the grief for making the same mistake. I am in complete disgust that this has happened and would like to see something resolved...though i'm sure nothing will come of it.Desired Settlement: I would like to see the 39.95 credited back to my account and pay the 1.50 to the [redacted] like it was suppose to in the first place.

Review: This company uses deceptive advertising practices to trick people into thinking they are only paying for the official USPS change of address fee. They never disclose the actual $39.95 fee you are charged, and their confirmation page promises a confirmation email that is never sent. Requesting a refund does no good with this company.Desired Settlement: Charge should be refunded and this company should be shut down for deceptive advertising.

Review: Their website is set up like it is the united states postal service. I did not realize that I was being signed up for a service not provided directly by the post office. I also was not under any understanding that I would be charged any money. There is no checkout page. There is only a page to put in credit card info to verify your address change. I did not authorize this company to charge my card 39.95. They have no telephone number to call. Their contact information is not real. If you send them an email it comes back as non deliverable. If you reply to their email it comes back as nondeliverable. I would like a refund of all money's that have been charged to my bank account. I would like for this website to be reviewed as fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of all money's that have been charged to my bank account. I would like for this website to be reviewed as fraud. I hope to make sure that this does not anyone else.

Review: I was charged $39.95 to change my address and agreed to no such charge in advance. The site represents that there is a fee of $1.05 for the online address change. I checked my online bank account and the company immediately charged my account $39.95. This is unconscionable and this company should be shut down for ripping people off when they are busy moving and otherwise preoccupied.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and no services from them and they should be obligated to fully disclose any charges up front, and fined for each non-compliance.

Review: I am active duty military. My family and I are currently in a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) status right now. My wife was on the internet and thought she was in the USPS site to change our address. She didn't realize that she was at changemyaddress.com. She has used USPS to change our address numerous times and is use to a $1 fee to change our address on line. She put in our debit card information. Once she submitted she realized her error. We checked our bank account and noticed a $39.95 fee from the site had already posted. I immediately notified my bank to contest the charge. I also emailed changemyaddress.com and threatened them that I would be filing a complaint about their fraudulent website if I didn't receive a refund. I received a response within 10 minutes. They stated that I would be receiving a complete refund. I'm still waiting for the refund.

Review: I searched online for forwarding mail to find the U.S. post office Mail forwarding site. The first one, www.changemypostaladdress.com/mail is the first one. I thought this was the USPS when opened. They charged me $39.95. I never saw that there was a charge for anything. I looked for fee. There was none that I saw. It said they needed credit card info to forward mail. I had no idea and am very sad that a company would not be up front about a charge of 39.95. I feel victimized. Anything that the Revdex.com can do to help will be appreciated.Desired Settlement: $39.95 refund

Review: Went online to file a change of address and thought I was on an official USPS site. The site and form looked official. I knew about the $1.05 fee the USPS charged for this service. Thats what I thought when I filled out my credit card info. When I checked my bank statement I realized I was billed $20 !!!Desired Settlement: A refund of $18.95! And that company not be able to align their online personality so close to that of the official USPS site! Also that they clearly show their service price on their online site!

Review: I accidently signed on to this web site to change my address since I was moving. The site said they were the [redacted] and charged me $39.95 to change my address. They are not connected with the [redacted]. When I try to contact them through emails the email keeps kicking back to me saying it is undeliverable.Desired Settlement: I want the complete refund back to me $39.95. asap

Review: I needed to change my address, went online and it was the first lead to pop up on Google search, I filled out the form, then a hour later I checked my bank card and 39.99 was pending from my account. I tried numerous times to file a complaint but all of the emails were sent back return to sender.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back

Review: This website functions as an advertisement acting on behalf of the United States Postal Service. In this capacity, people who are attempting to change their address inadvertently sell their personal and credit card information to this third party, who in turns transfers your address change to the United States Postal Service. The USPS does address changes for $1. This website, which appears as a USPS website, charges $40. I am astounded that a website of this nature exists.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back and removal of my personal and credit card information from this site. Also, I would like this website removed from all Google searches related to address changes and the United States Postal Service.

Review: Changemypostaladdress.com is blatantly ripping people off. It is the first link that pops up when you google how to change your address and looks legit because USPS is in the link. Nowhere on it's home page does it speak of a $39.95 fee to change addresses and the page does appear like it is from USPS. While, I should have looked through every page (and will do so from now on), it appears to be trusted. Only stating the original 1.05 fee that USPS in facts charges. I'm disgusted.Desired Settlement: While it would be nice to get my money back $39.95 x 2 = 79.90 I understand it was my lack of investigation that led to the fees. I merely want Revdex.com to know what a terrible business this is.

Review: This website is a complete scam. In my stress and haste in the middle of a move, I clicked on this website thinking that it was the USPS mail forwarding site. They charged me $39.95, never even sent me the confirmation email for my order they claimed was sent, and gave me the run around when I called to cancel my order. The only way I could even find a phone number for them was from a scam website where other victims had located the number. The phone number is nowhere to be found on their site. They promised to call me back with a resolution and I'm still waiting (this is after they hung up on me on the first call). I had to end up filing a dispute with my bank to resolve the issue. This website is a complete and total scam.Desired Settlement: That this business me held accountable for robbing people of their money under false pretenses.

Review: I completed the purchase, but wish to cancel my order and receive a refund. I have " contacted customer service " via the online form 3 times, with no response. There is a clause in their " Terms and Conditions" that states: "As such, you agree that while this site will attempt to make every reasonable effort to perform the change of address services put forth, it shall not be liable for such notifications to be performed whatsoever, by the organizations you have specified. All sales are guaranteed and a no-questions-asked refund is available if you are not satisfied with your order."

I am requesting the " no - questions - asked refund " to be given. I am not satisfied with my offer .. but with no communication back from their customer service team via e-mail, and no phone number or physical address to contact them this isn't possible.

How can this actually be a business if there is no physical address or phone number!!! It states implicitly on their website that refunds are available!!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the money paid, since it is still technically pending in my account, and I requested cancellation within minutes of my purchase.

I also believe that for this business to continue operating, it needs to provide a telephone number for a contact option.

Review: I was unknowingly transferred to this website while trying to change my postal address through USPS. Upon completing my form, the website claimed to have sent me a confirmation email. I never received any emails from this company. Despite this fact, the company immediately charged my credit card for $39.95. I have put in multiple contact attempts via their website, since no phone numbers were given. I explained to the company that I never received my confirmation email, but yet my credit card was already charged. I also explained that I was extremely unsatisfied with the neglect of my confirmation email, and that I would like my money, $39.95, returned back to me. I have not received any emails back from this company whatsoever.Desired Settlement: The full and total amount of $39.95, along with the cancellation of my "change of address service".
