Change My Postal Address.com Reviews (128)

Review: I was charged $39.95 to change my address, and the website was having misleading message of the cost of the service. I have never agreed to accept the charge. After I found out my credit card was charged for $39.95, I was immediately trying to reach out the www.changemypostaladdress.com for cancellation, however, they don't have any phone number or emails on their website, nor do they offer any kind of customer services for me to reach out to them. This merchant is clearly conducting on-line scam, and fooling consumers from subscribing their services and charging an outrageous expense ($39.95 vs $1).Desired Settlement: I would like to get a full refund of my charge immediately.

Review: in Google search ad says USPS and site is not affiliated with it at all. then Overcharges for services. I have asked for refund but no responseDesired Settlement: $39.95

Review: ChangeMyPostalAddress.com misrepresents itself to be affiliated with USPS. When performing a google search of "USPS Address Change," this is the first website that appears. While the website itself discloses that it is not affiliated with USPS, it does so in an extremely subtle way that makes it exceptionally easy for the reader to miss the disclaimer completely. After it initially charges $1.00, which is what the actual USPS website charges for an address change, changemypostaladdress.com then proceeds to charge $39.95. The website is a complete scam. It claims that its purpose is to notify all utilities and private entities about an individual's new address, but what it is really doing is misrepresenting a material fact, that it is indeed affiliated with USPS, to which many rely upon to their detriment. After repeatedly attempting to contact their customer service line, I was diverted to a "free cruise" ploy that is obviously used to deter those who have been scammed, such as myself, from seeking refunds.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $39.95.

Review: On 8/23/2014 I searched [redacted] for change of address and I found www.changemypostaladdress.com on the top of the list. The website is very misleading nearly identical to the process I used in the [redacted] website, where I use to pay $1.05.I Filled out the form when I was trying to pay, there was no mention of the price.I was surprised after the payment is proceed that I will be charged $95.95.Right away I tried to contact the website, but there's no email, no phone number. The only option I had is contact us I asked them to cancel my order and give me my money back. I get an answer in few second that my order is canceled and there was no mention of the money. I tried again I get the same answer with the same format even in the website it says( All sales are guaranteed and a no-questions-asked refund is available if you are not satisfied with your order). It has been months and I still not get my money back .This website is scamDesired Settlement: I need my money back.I can't believe I fell for such a scam.

Review: I thought I was requesting an address change through the official USPS website but was rerouted to this entity without realizing that I was being charged 39.95 for the service. Have tried contacting them, no phone number listed, and the email gets sent back to me as undeliverable. I jsut need to cancel my request and have the money back to me. ThanksDesired Settlement: Just refund my money please.

Review: The listed company did not do what they said they were going to do and when I attempted to contact them multiple times, for a refund, the company ignored my request. This statement is from their website,"All sales are guaranteed and a no-questions-asked refund is available if you are not satisfied with your order."Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of 40 dollars, the amount which I originally paid for a service they did not provide.

Review: I selected what looked to be the official USPS website to complete an address forward. I have used the USPS website previously for this service and saw nothing unusual. My mail did not get forwarded and was not returned to my original address. I have no idea where my mail is. I initiated the transfer on 04/06/2015. I tried to stop the forward with the USPS. I have been charged more than the $1 fee that I understood I would be charged. I am extremely concerned that I have been scammed and this is a bait and switch company. Stealing mail is a federal crime.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and my mail located.

Review: I was under the impression I was changing my address with USPS who charge $1 for the service until I saw a charge of $39.99 on my credit card that was not authorized. I did give my credit card information but at no point in time was I shown what was being purchased. This company is a scam. They have no business phone number for me to contact. I want to cancel what I signed up for because they made me believe they were something that they are not.Desired Settlement: I want to cancel the service and be refunded.

Review: This is a scam. The dishonest use of USPS logos on your website made me believe that their business was an official affiliation. I was never notified that I would be charged $39.95 for absolutely nothing. Your website made it sound as though I would only be charged $1.05. I am demanding a full refund immediately and discontinue whatever service this business has enrolled me in, because I'm sure they're bound to enroll people in services they never requested. Please remove all my information. Completely unethical.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $39.95.

Review: On 2/10/2015 I went to change my address with the [redacted] believing I was using their website. I was instead redirected to changemypostaladdress[redacted] and now have a charge for $39.95. I have called repeatedly and sent emails even though their website claims to offer full refunds. I will also be disputing this charge with my credit card company.Desired Settlement: I would like my Credit Card refunded for $39.95.

Review: I was changing my postal address online. This website appeared to be the official change of address site. It was very misleading. They never stated how much they were charging me, $39.99. They stated that I would receive a confirmation email, I never did. They state the price in small text at the very bottom of their site. I have scoured the site for a contact number so that I could speak with someone since I did not want this service for this price. There is no call in number, just an email option. I am very concerned for my identity at this point.Desired Settlement: I would like to be provided with a call in contact and a refund. I am so anxious about this.

Review: When googling usps change of address this company comes up with a logo that makes it appear that it is the USPS site. The USPS charges $1.05 to change an address. This company charges $39.00. This advertising appears to be misleading and fraudulent.Desired Settlement: Let the customer know upfront that this is not the USPS and that you will be charged $39.00 not $1.05, and receive nothing for it!

This just happened to me. Did you get a refund?

Review: The advertising of this website is extremely misleading and unethical regarding what charges were going to be reflected on my account. In addition, the cost of using said services were never fully explained in detail prior to charging my credit card. The advertising of this website is misleading as it uses "US postal service" to forward mail to a new address. I have tried emailing in as this is the only form of communication, however it won't allow me to actually submit my issue.Desired Settlement: I would expect a full refund of $39.95 that was withdrawn from my account, as this is a charge that is not only absurd for forwarding an address but was also never clearly explained in detail prior to being charged.

Review: I was attempting to change my address with this company and thought it would only be about 1 dollar to do so. I checked my billing statement on my credit card and it ended up being 40 dollars. I sent an email/form to them, but they never got back to me. I tried to find a phone number to call and could not find one. The mailing address on the website says it is in Malaysia. It said they were going to send a confirmation email to the address I provided and there was never one sent.Desired Settlement: I would like the $39.95 refunded to my credit card.

Review: "Change my address online" is a deceptive website that charges an unstated amount to change your mailing address. They have no phone number with which to contact customer service, they refuse to respond to my multiple emails, and have charged my account various charges including a $39.95 fee!Desired Settlement: Refund of my $39.95 and other fees

Review: The following internet business (https://www.changemypostaladdress.com/index.jsp) is engaging in deceiving practices by using the United Postal Office name as a bridge to mislead online users to use their "fake website". On 10/18/14 I was looking to do a permanent change of address with the United Postal Services online, during the search the above website pop up. After filling out a form including my personal and credit card information, and after submitting the information change; NO email or receipt confirmation was received or generated by the "fake website". In an effort to try to contact their customer service, I sent an email using their "Contact us by email" tab of their website and requested for the credit card transaction to be canceled and ask them to contact me ASAP. As soon as the email was submitted through their misleading website, a reply came to my personal email stating the email was undelivered as follows:"From:"Mail Delivery System" [email protected]:Sun, Oct 19, 2014 at 3:36 amSubject:Undelivered Mail Returned to SenderThis is the mail system at host mail.postmail.us.com.I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could notbe delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You candelete your own text from the attached returned message. The mail [email protected]: host [redacted]] said: 550 5.7.0 ([redacted]) Unfortunately, messages from [redacted]) on behalf of (yahoo.com) could not be delivered due to domain owner policy restrictions. (in reply to end of DATA command)"Further investigation of their website address with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) indicates the internet business is not registered and does not have a contact information including NO telephone number or formal address, and already have 2 complaints.Desired Settlement: Whoever is behind this misleading internet business (https://www.changemypostaladdress.com) must refund my money in full $79.90. Currently changing the address with the Official Postal Service is done for a fee of $ 1.05. Instead, (www.changemypostaladdress.com) fake internet business charged $39.95 for the transactions and did not provide a confirmation or receipt. This transaction took place 2 times using 2 different credit cards, both were charged independently for $39.95.

Review: The company claims to charge $1.05 to forward mail, but then charges $39.95 once credit card information is entered.Desired Settlement: I would hope this business would not be able to operate under such misleading circumstances. I feel that they prey on the stressed out, busy minds of those who are tackling all that a move requires and they misrepresent themselves to look as if they work with the USPS.

Review: I have tried to contact the company to cancel change of address service fee. the charge is for $39.95 and I have not received a response via email from the company. There is not a phone number listed on the website. I would like my money returned to me.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned.

Review: I did not authorize payment for this service. When I noticed that the service cost $39, I tried to back out of the form. I never submitted my information, yet I received a confirmation email from the company for the service.

I tried to contact the company through their website but I received an email that my correspondence with them was undeliverable.

I did not authorize payment for their services, but somehow my information was still submitted.Desired Settlement: I want my $39 back.

Review: The charge of $39.95 is not adequately visible on website.
